Food came exactly when due… portion size was massive, jumbo cod and chips, jumbo sausage and large peas… split between me and me lass and it was still enough. Highly recommend

Pizza had been turned upside most of the toppings stuck,box was bent first time had to complain

Food was hot,but disappointed with fishcakes,they were overdone,actual fishcake filling was too soft.

Large haddock perfectly cooked and huge portion of chips with peas - excellent!!

great food as for drinks swear drinks choose as good as always.

Food was good, just the price of delivery was a bit high considering the journey by car would only be a couple of minutes to get it to me

I ordered a small fish & chips with mushy peas & a bottle of Dr Pepper. My order was delivered ahead of time; & the fish & chips were lovely. Thank you. The mushy peas weren’t mushy peas, they were peas in salty water & coke was delivered instead of Dr Pepper.

I don't want to leave anything negative as we use them regularly and always positive however, the food tonight was very bad. Pizza really undercooked and doughy - mushy peas not mushy and whole and hard,.fish did not seem the usual quality. A shame

Food is always great from here, the curry sauce is the best, never used to have curry sauce with a chippy but with here its worth it. And they do the cheapest battered mars bars around. Staff are always friendly 😊

Unfortunately I just found metal filings, possibly from a scourer(?), on some chicken on a pizza. The food was lovely otherwise (risked the rest as hungry..) but this is disappointing to see.

chips were good, kebab meat was really good, but pizza was really dry, and dough wasn't great.

All I can say is I confirm these pizzas were not the best in town bother still raw and the dough was not cooked all the way it was pretty special how they managed to burn it yet have it still raw and the same time and the garlics bread was just a mouth full of pure oil and grease

Fish was huge! And perfectly cooked get so much for the price and the food is amazing being going here for years and it gets better every time !!

Me and my partner ordered a wrap each, best wraps we have every had, perfect everytime !!

Everything tasted great, however the fish was super greasy and the paper was stuck to the batter and ripped the fish to bits the paper was literally dripping after removed. I opted for the chips to be separate from the kebab wrap but needed up still having chips in and that spoiled the wrap and I ended up having to rip it open to get the chips out which put me off it. However the taste wise of the meat very nice and the wrap was absolutely huge!

The chips, burger, and garlic bread were all sadly not as good quality as other local chip shops. The chip portions were generous but a lot were left uneaten because they tasted horrible. Sorry.

Large fish was well over cooked not edible to eat not even my dogs would as it was so hard and the fish was dry, We have ordered from yourselves plenty of times , but now unfortunately we will never come back to you in the future 👎😢

Just had two large haddock’s from here - one was fine the other was disgusting. Fish was yellow and the batter was soggy. Never again. Paid £19.00!

Fish under cooked batter soft greese poured out when cut in to it no scraps only 1 pitta bread with kebab and 1 sauce won't be ordering again

The chips were not to my taste sorry… undercooked and too greasy. The cod was average. Garlic bread was cold. Probably won’t order here again sadly.

Order from this place numerous times a month, spend hundreds there. Food and service is usually perfect. Tonight we get a quarter pounder instead of a half pounder. No problem we will call and they’ll correct it because we order a lot, never moan. Call up, have to be passed on to someone else and wait for a call back. Get a call back and the woman is arguing for 19 minutes over the burger not being a quarter pounder. Even send her a photo. Rest of my order and food is now cold and I’m livid that apparently she cannot do anything because she is right. Food usually is great but this shop really need to appreciate their loyal customers and work on their customer service!!

My firt time ordering here and it did not disappoint! Food was absolutely lovely,fresh and piping hot. Good size portions. Definitely ordering again

Amazing Pizza! Drool worthy! delivery was earlier than expected which is a nice change when ordering in this area, chips were slightly on the cooler side but delicious nonetheless... will definitely order again!

Not good tonight unfortunately, the cornedbeef pattie had no cornedbeef in it, tasted like plastic, was cold, soggy, and chewy. The chips were rubbish, and cold, the mushy peas were hard in a watery sauce and the Gravy was luke warm. I've ran out of options for what I enjoy from tindale chippy now.

Food nice although think my corned beef patty didnt have any cornrd nref in it 3 people before me andcaoadt from saying how much it cost never uttered a word, never even said please thanks or bye when i left,

I used this chippy a few years ago when I lived in Bishop and I'm moving back soon, so no other chippy will do. Delicious food and reasonably priced.

Punjabi special Spicy Kebab, With Naan was the best kebab he's ever had from around here. Happy man!! Meat feast pizza, the crust was delicious, cooked & delivered in 20minutes but I'm only round corner, that's how good the food is from here lol. Me only take away now !! 😄

Been a regular here for years when it was just serving fish and chip menu, now they’ve expanded their menu it’s even better than it was before. Pizzas are unbelievable, would recommend them to anyone who orders from here. Always have great service from everyone serving / delivering the food.

Fish and chips were excellent. But mushy peas were watery and bland, not at all like we usually get from here.

Chips had an odd taste and were super soggy underneath the foil of the kebab,the kebab I only ate a small portion it was disgusting and within an hour I was on the loo with a bad tummy … no way would I eat here again … rotten

I'm sorry to say this was probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had, batter about a cm thick, fish about a cm thick, covered in grease that tasted like it hadn't been changed in months, I couldn't get rid of the taste for hours and I only had one bite. Woeful effort.

Sometimes call in here, not often. It has a small car park that can be a bit difficult to access at times as the traffic is generally heavy and it’s close to traffic lights and the traffic backs up across the entrance. That said we’ve always had quality food, lovely hot, fresh cooked chips.

Just not got the fish and chips right, batter soggy - chips looked and tasted like frozen- pizza was not thin base and very little flavour shame I expected better hopefully they can improve

It is the perfect food. The batter on the Corn Beef Patty was soft but OK for me the Chips nicely cooked my Wife Chicken Nuggets were good and the bottles of Pop I ordered were right on and the Delivery Guy was good.

Unfortunately the kebab didn't come with onions and peppers as advertised, which we were looking forward to.

Food was cold and full of grease and was not very nice will not be ordering again very disappointed 😒
