Great experience dining here. Staff absolutely amazing and manager very attentive and hospitable. I would defo recommend anybody locally coming here. I felt welcome and comfortable straight away. 👍

Great atmosphere, bar staff very friendly, food was great, manager was fantastic couldn't more for us, I'd highly recommend this establishment to all my friends and family.

You must try the pizza, it's fantastic.

Main courses were tasty. Desert was disappointing. Football match on every TV and piped into toilet whilst not for me. I can see why that would be a draw for fans.

Nice food, nice beer and a discount to boot! Recommended.

Me and my husband Derek came in on Sunday afternoon looking for something different than Sunday dinner, we both decided on mixed grill, which was a great portion size, all the meat was done to perfection all juicy and tasty. As we've never been before we didn't know what to expect but we were very happy with the pub, atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Tour of Aycliffes finest , started at the Cobblers …….. decent pint , not too badly priced tbh but edging towards the likes of Manchester / Liverpool status. Atmosphere was good , warming outside , LGBT present and normal folk so decent tbf. Will return

My home away from home. Each and every member of staff is fabulous in their own way. There's a really good mix of punters coming in all the time. Shout out to Jamie. Always friendly, willing to help, and cares about the customers. He even gave me a ride home one evening when my mother was ill and had called the ambulance. 100%

It was my first visit with a friend. My first impression was favourable. The food was excellent. Well cooked and reasonably priced. The staff were efficient and friendly. Not a long wait for the food. I certainly would go back.

Popped in for a tasty evening meal which was very nice, speedy service and impressed by the young waiter (Jamie) who was very polite, attentive to detail and kept himself serving, tidying and cleaning the tables.

We booked a table and asked for one in window got a lovely round one the staff were really nice and welcomed us and showed us to the table a showed us the menu and asked if we wanted a drink we had a jacket potato with prawns and it was lovely well presented we really enjoyed it

8 ounce gammon steak, superb. Chips superb. 2 fried eggs perfect. Half a tomato. Peas, not much to spoil there! Lime soda, spot on.

Pub needs a major refurb, it's grubby, expensive, overated and it's attracting the wrong type of people, it's a shame, was once a great pub.

Absolutely outstanding atmosphere for bingo tonight, the pizza oven is working again and the pizzas were perfect, chad gave us a really pleasant experience and has very good knowledge on his wines!! Will be back next week for more!

Visited the cobblers hall.pub for food and the staff were excellent all of the team were really helpful and made me feel at ease. I am a homosexual dislexic customer and I was really struggling reading the meue and the staff came over and helped me understand it and explained it fuller helping me make my choice . I was made to feel very welcome by Chad at the bar .who helped me understand the menu and the food was better than I expected.will defo return thank guys

Was really looking forward to trying this place out for thr 1st time. The staff seemed friendly. The place itself was lovely and was also clean. The food came out and the ribs and chicken were soaked in oil, had no flavour and had a funny taste. I ended up only eating the chips and peas.

We had the 2 course xmas fayre and can definatly recommend it the table was set up with red table cloth wine glasses with serviettes in and xmas crackers the food was fab presentation was great could not fault it service was good will be going back again very soon well done to you all and thankyou
