China Inn-Pelton 威浩楼 in County Durham

Only the second time using them and absolutely loved all the food we ordered. We are spoiled for choice with Chinese cuisine around Pelton, this is now first choice.

First time ordering food came in 10 mins of ordering too lovley staff on the phone my new go to Chinese ……UNREAL 🤤🤤

First timer.Great price and great portions.Plenty of meat and ingredients in my special curry,rice and chips. However it ends there,,runniest and weakest curry ever.When you sit down for a curry you need to taste curry sadly very very mild and watery so didnt enjoy and left half.By the time it merged with the rice it was like dishwater,only weaker. I will try again but when they get some curry powder. Still a 7/10.

It was a bit salty for me but otherwise very nice

They were canny but unfortunately won't be using again....2 consecutive orders with missing/incorrect meals when they redelivered they were still incorrect. Just spoils it and feels like a waste of money

Amazing takeaway. Fantastic prices for massive portions, brilliant food and the owner is lovely and very generous. Really fast too - ordered a huge amount and it was ready 15-20 minutes later for me to collect. Will definitely be going back.

I normally stick to 1 Chinese shop in Chester le street but since this opened I have the choice of 2 now, food is lush each and every time, portions are huge, salt & pepper chicken box is defo the best about

Huge portions and piping hot. Couldn't fault a thing...Will now be changing from our regular takeaway to China Inn from now on.

Only gave 4 stars due to lateness of delivery . However, the food was excellent and I will definitely order from here again. 👍

Been here 4 times already. The quality of the food is superb. Just wait until you try and compare it to the slop you get at Sunflower. What a difference! If you're partial to Sweet & Sour, definitely go for that first. Proper posh restaurant quality. Great prices and large portion sizes as well. They've also got a budget 'all-in-one-tray' option (that comes in the big round foil trays Chinese Take Aways use) for £5-£5.90. These are big enough for 2 people to share. I'll make a prediction, this place will be the go-to Chinese in the whole area before long, from Birtley to Stanley.

Delicious. Ate here for the first time tonight. Food was delivered fast piping hot and flavours were lovely. Portions were good very generous with the meat too. Would highly recommend best in the area.

Tried here for the first time yesterday the food was lovely great size portions and really good value for money quick delivery will definitely be a returning customer highly reccomend
