Really tasty food and very friendly staff

Very untidy, litter all over the floor, empty glasses and plates just left on tables and unfortunately the food wasn’t great and over priced.

Just had the most fabulous and huge salad. . Good price especially with owners discount!

Very clean. Service was fast, and the food was great. Park right outside so kids can go play whilst adults have a relax inside. Lots of seating inside and some outside.

We stopped here for food before going onto crimdon dene. The food (breakfast) was served till 1pm, which was perfect. The food was absolutely beautiful, served with tea/coffee. The gentlemen who served us was lovely and friendly, I would definitely recommend it here, and would a million per cent go back xxx

We have visited Crimdon probably 3 to 4 times a year for the past 8 years. It's very rough and ready but it's par for the course, we don't mind. There is a half decent play park at the back of the Boathouse which is a plus as well as the joining arcade but the biggest problem by far is the sheer price of the food and drink now, especially for general pub grub. I paid nearly £9 for 2 small bowls of standard fries this weekend it's madness, Download the Parkdean app and look for yourself. We have noticed footfall down this year and can only put it down to this because the majority of the caravans had cars parked outside, they just weren't in the Boathouse like usual. Such a shame because the place used to be packed on a sunny weekend with all the kids having fun but it's just not like that anymore. We now just get a taxi into Hartlepool and use the other pubs with play areas for kids they are almost half the price with better choices of food and drink. People don't mind paying to a certain point but it just feels like robbery whenever you order. When you have to feed 4 or 6 people a few times over the course of your holiday, it makes sense to use another pub even if you have to get a taxi and save yourself a fortune.

Not impressed 👎 won't be going again

Walked over from our van to get some lunch after arriving at the park. Asked at the bar about food/menus, we were advised to choose a table and order food with the table number. Bit shocked at half a lager and small coke being just under £7! Checked the menu, obviously don't know what the standard of food is but the price seemed exceptionally inflated! We decided to nip to Tall Ships, pub, 5 minute drive away and had 2 delicious, beautifully cooked, well presented meals, with drinks for £21 - that would have just covered one meal at The Boathouse!

Called in to visit family that had rented a weekend caravan. Had a coffee. Staff pleasant and helpfull and fun.

five of my family had main course meals every one finished and all said there meal was excellent and the liquid refreshments were excellent

Food amazing taste and portion size, great value for money, staff amazing always happy to help and friendly ate here for dinner and breakfast every day of our stay. A must visit thank you!!

Good size Plently of seats and its not attached to entertainment

App for boathouse glitches. Payment taking from my bank as pending but they didn't get it so had to pay cash and now have to wait a refund. Not good if someone has limited funds

Good selection of food, easy to order through the app, service is quick. We dined in a few nights, lunch too. They do a good breakfast also. We found the Saturday evening was busy, lots of people needing seats. Parking was hard on this night too, not helped as it rained. One disabled parking
