Food nice as always, tried the beef burger this time and would order again. I didn’t get the onion rings though, only noticed them missing from the order when I got home.

Ordered from here quite a few times and really love the food. However, this time was slightly disappointed. One of the meals came without chips that we ordered and the wrap came with cheese on it when we added a note to remove. The food was still really nice and was hot when it arrived.

Past few orders have been hit or miss but this time a real noticeable difference in quality, chicken strippers usually have a great tasting and super crunchy crumbly batter mix that’s been the biggest appeal, this time was basically an egg washed fried chicken.. no crunch or taste, barely any batter and much smaller than usual :( real let down because when it first opened the chicken was amazing. Also my partner put notes on requesting some things be removed from his burger which weren’t.

got the chuck Norris munch box and got 3 tiny cubes of chicken and a few frozen chicken dippers. curious as to what has happened here the butter milk chicken from here is amazing. poor this time

It doesn’t matter how nice the food is if the service is *** then the whole thing is ***. 30 minutes after saying the order was ready to collect, the order was actually ready to collect. Not good.

you lot ok? standards are usually lots better. I'm worried about you! must of had the world war 2 burger because it was barely a chicken strip. chips were cold with no usual seasoning. tenders were cooked great just without your quality seasoning. I still believe in you

Cheap drinks £4.80 for a pint of morretti (December 2024). Good atmosphere NUFC match days and in general. Pool tables are a plus but are always in use. The function room is great and had a pool table aswell.

missing items from order, no phone number on just eat to ring up and ask for missing items to be delivered so had to ask for refund.

ordered at 17:42 and arrived at 19:07 but was getting prepared at 18:15 &Courier was there. clearly getting more orders but meant my chips were lukewarm and soggyand the chicken wasn't at the usual standards.

The food is great, but I have no idea what happened to my order today. I usually collect but this was a delivery and instead of a burger, strips and chips, I got two burgers! With Just-eat now to try to get some recompense.

Went for a Halloween party with my daughter and friend. Good atmosphere, cheap drinks. The food was a nice surprise.

Don't often leave reviews, but had to for this, because that was probably some of the best tasting fried chicken I've had in a long time!!!

Food arrived really quickly, pieces of chicken were perfectly cooked and the burger was class. They called after I ordered to tell me they had no bacon in but replaced it with hash browns, which were really good. Our new favourite place to get chicken I reckon!

Its cheap and average consett bar tbh bit to sporty and stinks of stale beer with sticky carpets probably to many fights and could do with some money spent on it and outside is god awful buuuuut theres worse places in consett for sure and the older regulars are good crack

Very disappointed, fries missing, burgers seem smaller and thrown together. All food was cold, just not the quality they were at the start, this is the 2nd time order wasn’t great, but this time we’ve requested a refund on some things it was so poor.

Food was great quality, loved the base on the pizza and the chicken was lovely. Unfortunately I ordered the strippers meal deal and the pop and dip(s) were missing.

Sorry guys, I gave you another chance but today's order was shocking. Half the chicken was missing and half the pieces were small and the pizza was smashed up against the side of the box. There's no number to ring to sort it out so I don't see a way to rectify this.

I was trigger happy last time and have asked them to remove my negative previous raring. I'll always be honest though. and this was clucking delicious. chips were crispy, chicken was amazing and enough to feed a family of 4 or me. not sure what you add to the skin but it's amazing. I'm glad we're back together

Love this place, and have ordered about 15 times, but I have to be honest - today was disappointing! Thought it felt very light, and sure enough, the chicken pieces were tiny, scrawny things. Hoped the pizza would offer redemption but most of the cheese and pepperoni had slid off into the corner of the box. The fries were great, and everything tasted good, just a shame we seemed to get children's portions. Let's hope it was a Friday 13th horror glitch and not a soon-to-be regular feature.

I ordered a few weeks back and it was awesome. was hoping I'd get the same elite chicken today... (dramatic pause).... and that's exactly what I got mother cluckers 🐔 delicious

One or two bits of the chicken were good but the rest of the pieces were rubbery and not edible. Pizza base was good but tomato/cheese was not nice at all so it went in the bin. Delivery was really quick and pleasant, would try again if things were tweaked.

Burgers are great but the pizza and garlic bread where not nice very thin and also tough on the bottom.

Normally I don't eat chicken but tonight I fancied some and decided to give fancy a cluck a try. best fried chicken I've had! The pizza was also nice loved the fact it was sourdough instead of the bases that everywhere else do, but chicken was 💯 🐔. Will definitely fancy a cluck again 🤤

First time we ordered the food was great my only note would’ve been someone was a little heavy handed with the herbs on the chips but still really nice and not enough to put me off ordering again - today’s the second time we’ve ordered here and the balance is amazing - really nice food, will definitely be back and definitely recommend 👍 Excited to hear them expanding as well!

Won’t be back, tasteless cheap cuts of chicken, fries very under cooked soggy. Coleslaw didn’t get to my mouth, the sour smell stopped that. Fast delivery tho.

Best burger ever I think I did have a demi on

It's surprising at first to find the chicken pieces are fillets/strips rather than actual pieces, but you don't care after your first bite. This chicken is what KFC used to be... supremely tasty and addictive. Best chips from any takeaway in Consett, too.

Unfortunately we got the wrong burger delivered, we ordered a Kim Jong Cluck which was supposed to be BBQ but we got one with jalapeños and a spicy sauce, which was too spicy for me. Other burger was lovely as were the chips

chicken here is great, although a bit heavy on the salt. I’m partially embalmed now but at least I enjoyed the food

I’ve been to the Demi over the last 50 years for various occasions and it’s a great place. Kind friendly staff and atmosphere brilliant for a get together whatever the occasion happy or sad. The Demi is very child friendly I know this because I’m only 56 and as my family has continued to grow children have always been at our party’s I live in Staffordshire but always love returning to the Northeast and the Demi.

Good for watching sports with plenty of TV and big screen. Good choice of drinks. Pool table available for free. Seems to have become a bit of a youth club of late.

The staff have been brilliant throughout the hole event, allowing us to set up the bouncy bingo during the day, then they where so helpful on the night, everyone had a great evening and we will be back again for sure, we raised over £750.00 for the residents fund thank you so much this will make outing for the residents so much better

Fairly recently redecorated so decent modern decor. Good size function room with stage. Bar is very reasonably priced. Facilities are clean and staff are pleasant and helpful. Disabled access is good with a ramp up the side and plentiful parking if needed.

Absolutely shocking the way the staff spoke to us they removed drink off our cake and would give it back the food was absolutely disgusting

A large and welcoming pub, with a good range of alcohol and soft drinks. Pool tables and sky sports available.

Rotten pub glass everywhere from outside at the front of the venue and behind the venue owners keep just brushing into the street instead of cleaning it up properly been asked numerous times to clear it up but they couldn't really care less

Busy bar, but got served quickly by a very friendly lady. Great pint at a really good price. Sports on all tv's and a good buzz around the place. Only went in for a beer on the way home......stayed for 3 ;)

Biggest day of the year as far as football is concerned. They have one bat open at 1442 and not opening the back bar until 6pm and place already full. Whoever manages this place needs to learn to manage as it is a joke. Why not get extra staff in and open the back bar as well. For the quarter final waited an hour to get in as they hadn't opened the back bar. The management should really start looking at their mismanagement!!!
