What a lovely little gem of a place this is, food absolutely beautiful, very reasonably priced,fresh clean dining area, staff above and beyond, highly recommended this restaurant, will be back very soon.

Really great food, best salt and pepper chicken and chips i’ve ever had! Staff are really friendly, super cosy atmosphere and great value for money. Delivery is always very quick and there’s plenty of parking.

I've gone to The Wok Inn for the last few months and have never been dissapointed. The food and service is always amazing. I highly recommend it for dining in and out. The new owners have made a huge improvement to the service, menu and this beautiful family run business.

Excellent food, not the cheapest but of good quality. Unlike many other restaurants with tightly packed tables, Woks Bar provides plenty of room for each table with beautifully decorated walls. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff, nice-looking venue and the food is absolutely fantastic. Plates come as they are made, and we pretty much had everything brought to us in a 10-15 minute win of ordering.

There is actually such a delicious Chinese restaurant in Durham. I have been there several times and all satisfied with clean environment, food delicious and good service. My favourite dish is king prawn with oysters sauce, lemon chicken and beef with black beans sauce.

Love this place. Most delicious Chinese food I’ve ever eaten- both in the restaurant (great for a big family gathering!) and as take away.

I had a lovely dinner time in this restaurant with my friends, the food were incredible which they were definitly the best of chinese cuisine stlye in the local. And the service was also very nice, waitress were very friendly and food were quickly put on the table.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming and lovely hosts. A large range of vegan options. The vegan chicken chowmein and vegan duck pancakes are the best I’ve ever tasted.

Just had an awesome anniversary meal with my wife, the salt and pepper squid starter was a taste explosion. Can't fault a thing, we'll definitely be back there soon. Zavier is a perfect host. P.S. his dad's the chef. 10 out of 10.

We went last night for the second time in a few months and I must say what an improvement. The service is very friendly and quick, we had a table in minutes and drinks soon followed. We ordered our food and it wasn't long before it arrived, great presentation and good portion sizes. Best of all was the taste everything we ordered from the spare ribs to the sweet and sour chicken was exceptional. This is our new favourite Chinese restaurant now and will be back soon. The owners are very nice and friendly people.

I visited last night, the food was lovely and great value for money. The lady explained to us they'd just taken over the restaurant, and they'd like feedback on the dishes. All of the dishes were tasty, and the food arrived quickly.

Incredible food and service. I heard this restaurant has got a new owner and a new chef. The food is completely different level. The sweet sour pork is amazing. and the steamed seabass is really nice too. Highly recommended. We will be back soon.

Birthday treat for my sister. Couldn't fault the food and service, starters were just the right amount and very tasty. Mains were also, top notch and plenty to eat. Service is excellent, waitress would check to make sure we weren't running low on drinks. When the staff learned it was my sister's Birthday they knocked her meal off the bill and even brought her a slice of chocolate cake with a candle in it......absolutely fantastic ! We will definitely be back. Thankyou to all the staff for their kindness, and professionalism.

We just had a absolutely lovely evening at the Wok for my husbands 50th birthday. As a group of 13, we received fantastic attention and service. The food was absolutley delicious - everyone had tasty dishes and there was so much variety. Highly recommended as a restaurant and takeaway - both the food and drink are very reasonably priced and the service faultless! Definitely worth a visit.

Terrible food at top price for a takeaway. Seemed like everything was just warmed up. Rang to complain and offered a fresh meal or a credit note but to be honest i wouldnt want to order there again even for free

First and last order today. When I saw the menu the "Happy box" hit me immediately, rice, chicken and duck but more importantly, curry sauce for moisture. Sadly when it was delivered it was cold and dry and no curry sauce! Inedible, I felt like it was sticking in my oesophagus as I swallowed..... straight to bin! The other item on the order was sweet and sour chicken, we had check it came with rice and this was confirmed ....... however, no rice delivered! We only gave one takeaway per week and were really looking forward to it! Attention to detail is so important!

Only went because China China was closed. Firstly I was told 50minutes for delivery, delivery actually took over an hour and a half. Secondly I rang to check the status to be told it was out with the driver and would be 20 minutes, I live 5 minutes away by car. Finally when the food finally arrived it was stone cold and the curry was that thick it was inedible.

Lovely food but need to get staff trained Came in to pick up a takeaway order at 5:30. Gave my name to girl on reception. 30 minutes later still waiting when i got a phone all asking why I hadn't picked up my order. Said that I've been sitting in reception for 30 minutes. Did you not ring the bell? No, I actually gave my name and said I'm here to pick up an order. 2 others came in with order problems to be left waiting, one for a simple missed fried rice that should have taken 2 minutes to rectify.

Just a bit quiet dining in but well looked after by the staff - and mainly doing takeaways- nice decor , loads of parking space

Ordered my usual Shredded chicken and sweet and sour sauce with fried rice to then find parts of a plastic bag in my rice rang them just to advise on this to be then told its not there problem could have been a different matter if it was my 1 year old daughter eating it And as for complaining for the last 3 orders I am sorry but we have never complained about any of the food or the service before this is the first time i have ever complained

Ordered a takeaway for collection. Separate entrance and exit, excellent covid precautions including masks. Lovely hot well flavoured food. The chicken wings were more like chicken popcorn but still nice. Would recommend.

Had a sit down meal, the five of us had 'Banquet A' - loads of food which tasted great. Found the service to be quick and friendly and it all came at a fair price. Whats not to like? Atmosphere was nice too! We will be returning.

Used to be a regular, but now wont be ordering again. Food is alright, but service is shockingly bad. Missing part of our order so we ring up to ask where it is. Get told we need to wait for a manager to call us back. 20 mins goes by and no call, spend 10 minutes calling them non stop (rings out every time..) After 40 minutes the missing item finally arrives, but the rest of the food is freezing, so it's pretty much ruined. No apology, no replacement, nothing. Avoid

Great range of vegetarian and vegan options, that are almost worryingly similar to the real thing! Good food, friendly staff, nice quiet location. Car park isn't the biggest though.

The manageress was useless, no people skills what's so over. There was a problem with the booking on their end so we were sat at a table and we were told we had 1 hour. 45 minutes in the manageress came to our table to clear it and literally took a plate of food from one of my friends whilst she was still eating! We were in so much shock and disbelief we didn't know what to do with our selves . We asked to speak to the boss as it was very apparent the manageress was a major part of the problem. She made us aware that he couldn't speak english very well. He had no care to try and resolve the issue, just wanted to make sure that my friend was still going to pay. Then were were brought 3 incorrect over priced bills before the correct one. The manageress even argued that we had only been brought 2 bills when it was actually 3. So laughable and such immature, unprofessional behaviour. The food was fantastic, credit to the chefs. But the service was absolutely diabolical. Manageress needs sacking or training up.
