Tina's Kitchen in Mendip

We had read the good reviews and decided to track Tina's kitchen down on a visit to Okehampton. Its tucked away at the back of the pub so not that easy to spot. We had bacon rolls and coffee for breakfast and sat in the pub garden. Very dog friendly both inside and out. The coffee was really good and the bacon rolls generously served with three rashers of bacon each. Very reasonably priced too. Our dog loved her sausage too.

Absolutely delicious. Great food, great value, and very friendly staff. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside in the garden.

We were looking for somewhere to eat with our dogs, and found this gem of a place. We ordered a half pounder burger, two chicken burgers and a ham sandwich, all with chips and soft drinks which all came to £30. The food was freshly cooked and tasted great, not to mention the large portions. Tina is very lovely and accommodating, she offered to let us sit inside with the dogs but we opted to sit one one of the many benches, outside. This place would be a regular stop off for us, if we were not just passing through. Thank you.

Cycling the Granite way we decided to have a look around Okehampton and have a bite to eat before carrying on with our explorations, We looked at the menu outside the Kings Arms pub and loved the choices so popped in, Tina's Kitchen is separate from the pub but you can eat in the pub so we looked at the menus and ordered from the hatch in the beer garden. I had a mushroom omelette with salad that was not only very tasty but humungous! Such amazing value for money and well prepared. My husband had gammon, eggs and chip which was also well cooked and generous in portion! For the price you pay, which is so reasonable, you really can't be disappointed and I am glad we stumbled across the Kings Arms & especially Tina's Kitchen!

We stopped for a meal while travelling through the town. What service - so pleasant. Simple food cooked well and delicious. Excellent value.

You can catch a train now from Exeter to Okehampton so we did and discovered this friendly pub with Tina’s Kitchen. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly, good coffee, enjoyed scampi and chips under the Christmas decorations- all great value!

I came in here with my brother on a day out from Plymouth. spoke to a couple of ladies in a Bric a brac shop in the town centre, who said tinas is the go-to place for great food. Well, they weren't lying! We had the gammon egg and chips, and wow it was hot presented lovely, just like in the picture on here, the service is first class. we loved it that much, we are going back next week for Sunday roast! The only day they not open is Tuesdays. if you fancy a day out in Okehampton then this is the place to go! And the parking in Okehampton is a lot cheaper than Plymouth too! Head for the Waitrose and turn left at the mini roundabout and you will see the car park.

I eat here everyweek. The food is fresh and so tasty. Amazing portion sizes. Very good selection of food to choose from. Staff are so friendly. I highly recommend tina's kitchen

Hands down vest food in okehampton, extremely friendly staff and always ready to serve with a smile. I have had T&T's food now for some years, following them from their old premises to the king's, I have never had a bad meal there and they'll always look after you.

The food is top notch! I eat here regularly and sometimes come in for just a cuppa and a catch up, they make you feel welcome and at home, service with a smile plus amazing food can’t be beaten!

Ive been coming to tinas for about 7 years even at the old premises, you really cannot beat the consistency of the amazing quality of there food (especially breakfasts!) Always served with a smile, its like walking into an aunties house! Tina and Tony always make an effort! Cant be beaten, easily the best place to eat in town!

You cant go wrong with Tina's food! Friendly staff too, can't wait til i next visit. It will be the first place I go!
