Tin & Tap in Shepway

Went in to get my lunch to left standing there whilst 1 working was preparing food and 2 others were just chatting. Left it a few minutes until the 1 guy working went to prepare more orders (must be deliveroo as restaurant was empty).. I only get 3p minute so walked out to go somewhere that actually wants to serve their only customer.

Great food and delivered promptly. The duck chowmein is class.

We had booked a room in the adjoining B&B (highly recommended) and also reserved a table at the Famous Ship Inn. Our drive from our home Devon took us over 7 hours (thank you M25 and M20) so we were only just in time for our reservation. The inn itself is very old but we were shown to a table in a modern conservatory on the south side. The food and service were impeccable and the place was doing a great trade, which created a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. This was an excellent dining experience.
