The food was awful.. and now I know why, the place is filthy. Just seen pics online after an inspection.. absolutely disgusting. NEVER EAT THEIR FOOD..

We don't like Ho Ho. We love it! We tried a few other Chineses in Folkestone and Cheriton and they were absolutely rubbish compared to Ho Ho. A popular place I was told to use wanted to charge us £4 for prawn crackers and did not throw th.in for free on a 60quid order! The best crispy beef by far locally. An absolute stand out dish. Not soft. Best noodles and rice.. others have been very very bland in comparison. Best spring roll. Best chicken balls.. not greasy. Just crispy! Our favourite place for a Chinese and we have tried them further afield. Thanks for the best service and food. Always on time, of not sooner and hot! Won't use anywhere else in Folkestone.

The food is senzational.I only live couple of blocks away so even in busy days and when you can see that there is no other way that wait,my food is EXCELLENT.I used to order 9 Dragons alot but I found out Ho Ho has way much more flavour.

Absolutely recommend this take away, with lovely staff who treat you very well. Yet quick service and steaming hot food served within 5 minutes of me placing my order. I will not go else where after finding this place ! 👍

We ordered new years eve.! Food was great and hot. Delivery was quick Easy to order over the phone. Cash on delivery No card payments.

Awful service for deliveries. I live third floor in house of flats. the delivery driver could not be bothered to walk up 2 sets of flights of stairs so just left my food on a random table on the ground floor of building. I only found this out after ringing restaurant for update as delivery driver had just left it without telling me it was there or coming to my flat door! You can't just leave food in a random place near my flat!

Ordered 90 mins ago. To be told food is still not cooked. Terrible service over the phone. Refused refund.

Lovely little Chinese food is not a salty as I found in other shops reasonably priced for larger portions than others I've tried

As a Chinese myself, probably the BEST British Chinese food I ever had!! A perfect late night options. Obsessed the shrimp in oyster sauce MUST TO HAVE. Also the amazing friendly staffs there literally made our night;)

Had a few take aways from here, can't fault what we have ordered and the service is always good.

Hit and miss. Generally the food is very good. Much depends on pick up or delivery. Delivery is very slow and usually the food is warm, certainly not hot. Prices online are over 10% more expensive than visiting. If you are visiting the customer service is trash, very dismissive, and they will happily answer the phone in the middle of taking your order. That said, if you can gloss over that, the food is far better and just as importantly, hot.

Lovely food always fresh, staff are lovely as well, always greet you with a smile and are happy to help.

Decent food but the girl on counter service is as rude as anyone you'll ever meet in retail or hospitality. I would say avoid but we aren't blessed with any decent Chinese takeaway in Folkestone so this is the pick of a very poor bunch . Try and go through JustEat then you won't have to deal with this crazy bat.

I’ve eaten from Ho Ho a couple of times before with no issue - the food is well priced, tasty, and always hot on arrival. However, today’s experience drops the rating right down on safety alone - our order of “Chicken Balls” contained a prawn ball in the mix. Thankfully my partner and I aren’t allergic to shellfish, however for those who are, this is a very serious issue. UberEats have been informed, and have promised to contact the restaurant. Such a shame given the otherwise good experiences we’ve had in the past.

Was very meh. Dinners not bad just bland and 'spicy' dishes just meant a couple of chillies chopped in.

Vacation in Folkestone and found this online amazing food had the chicken chow mein chicken balls and king prawns fried rice...piping hot delivered on time to the hotel...well seasoned delicious 😋

I'd give this a 5 star. Really enjoyed the food. We had quite a big order about £50 worth, but you know the score with a Chinese, you want a little bit of everything. So overall we sampled quite a few dishes and I was happy with all of them. They were not greasy or oily at all. Ribs were tender and delightful. Crispy beef was another hit, I'm not going to go into all the dishes as I'd be here for ages describing it. The only dish I would say was not as good as other restaurants was the rice, we had a vegetable rice and the rice was a bit like a risotto although not as sticky but it was still good. The next morning though I woke up and I needed to take on a serious amount of water. I was so thirsty and I just kept drinking so that was the only downside. Would order from here again.

We ordered a large delivery for a family friend gathering and it was probably the best Chinese food I had it in a while and everybody loved it. Overall lovely food & very prompt delivery.

Food was cold the chow mein tasted like rubber and the sweet sour sauce tasted like vinegar and very watery would not recommend this Chinese and not worth the money

Fantastic value for money for less than £15, we got chicken and cashew nuts, egg fried rice, prawn crackers, crispy seaweed, mini spring rolls, prawn toast, ribs, meat dumplings and dipping sauce! Absolutely delicious, staff very polite, can pay by cash or card, just wear a mask.

The chicken in the chicken curry was slimy, rubbery and inedible. The pancake rolls were soggy and again inedible, sadly most of the food we ordered went into the food caddy bin. Will not order from here again and certainly wouldn't recommend. Not able to leave a review on Justeat so leaving it here.

We throughly enjoyed our takeaway. The staff were helpful and our order was delivered quickly and it was very hot. Everything was delicious and we particularly loved the spicy chicken wings. We certainly recommend them and look forward to ordering again

First time iv ordered here. Food arrived early, all piping hot, all very tasty. Only downside was my son loves getting the fortune cookies and we didnt get one with out £25 order

Have been eating Chinese meals for nearly 50 years, but this is the worst ever. Just now we had pancake rolls you couldn't pick up for the grease filled with beansprouts and 1 shrimp, chicken curry lacked meat, peas and spice, chow mien greasy little bits of noodles with basically no meat, king prawn satay was disgusting, bbq sauce was water, all yours for over £30. Would never go back, absolutely awful

Worst Chinese takeaway ever! Had one mouthful of my food and couldn't eat it is was so disgusting. Took it back but they refused to give me a refund - I left it on the counter, it was so disgusting it was inedible. Avoid at all costs.
