AWFUL DRIVERS So to start i was told this was the best takeaway by many people who have frequently used your takeaway! I have heard nothing but good things. I however have not had the pleasure of trying your food!!!!!! I placed my order (yes it was quite late on in the evening) however i was told that it would be delivered around 2200/2205pm. I was called at 2159 and told abruptly to “Open the door” At this point i didn’t think anything about what was said. So I rushed out and met him 2 mins later! To my surprise I met a very aggressive man who shouted at me you shouldn’t order food if you’re not home. I said yes i’m sorry i was only two mins away, he then became very aggressive towards me and said some very offensive words, as i was only across the road i didn’t think this was warranted, He told me multiple times that he finishes his shift at 10!!! ( I’m not sure how as the restaurant doesn’t close until 10pm) I tried to pay and he very aggressively said NO card. I said sorry i didn’t realise as i wasn’t told however, I said there was a cash point down the street and could get cash! (would of took 1-3 mins) The delivery driver then got even more annoyed so i just thought no thank you! (Driver then threw the food in his own car like a grown up) To summarise- • Gutted i didn’t try the food •Very aggressive delivery driver • Don’t order if you are old or a child • No cash!

Off the beaten track in Grantham you'll be pleasantly surprised by this Chinese takeaway. We were heading North and decided to pick up a Chinese on the way ... so after doing a quick search on the internet we came up with this little gem of a place, certainly one to use again but be warned they only take cash!

Haven't been here for a long while but it was as good as ever and the young lady serving was very pleasant and helpful : - ) I will be going again soon

Food is incredibly nice, everytime

I have Chinese takeaway pretty regular and was using all the others and was just never satisfied with what we got, I used to use Tin Sing many years ago during my teenage drinking years but over time simply had forgotten about them , I'm glad we came across them again , There food is miles ahead of the others and as good now as i remember back then , so that is where we shall be ordering from in future..

Always good food, never had a bad meal there and I had a lot of them there and all over town, but always prefer Chinese food from here!! Always friendly nothing ever a problem, nice people run it, love thier deep fried ribs in batter!

The food at Tin Sing has always been excellent, but the service was the exact opposite with never a smile or a thank you !! The new owners have kept all the quality the same, and now you get a ready smile, pleasant chatter and an excellent take-away as well. Congratulations to the new owners, I shall spread your excellent service and quality food as wide as I can !!!

I believe this Chinese takeaway has changed ownership. It was fantastic before, and it still is. The daughter of the owners takes orders. She is great and very methodical, the food is as good as it ever was, and I believe to be the best in Grantham. Well done, keep doing what you’re doing !!

Have used this Chinese every week for years. Far superior to all the others. However…. since the new people have taken it over the food is nowhere near as good any more! They've upped the prices extortionately too! I do believe they'll lose a lot of custom! Edit: The food has started to improve, however, still a bit miffed about the price hike, as the previous owners had only just raised the prices not long before leaving….

This has been the best Chinese takeaway in town for years. Must try their sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style!! However, the last couple of times the quality had dropped very slightly. Not sure if there is a change in management or ownership. Hopefully, things will improve but still provides great quality food.

Okay, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration, but that's what locals decided to name Tin Sing's famous spare ribs in batter - they really are a meal in themselves! However, assuming that's not quite enough, there's plenty to tantalise the taste buds on the menu of what's arguably the best specialist local takeaway in the whole town. And believe me, that's saying something.

This is very unusual for me, because this review will be my first poor one. For my partners bithday, we had a takeaway, my partner had her usual and so did I. Now I asked for sweet n sour chicken Hong Kong stlye. Now this is and has always been my favourite, being, chicken pineapple onion peppers all in a pleasant sauce, but instead I got a big bag of extremely dry chicken nuggets, and a pot of what was supposed to be sweet n sour sauce. My partner did call the takeaway, but they weren't concerned. So I ate a little, and binned the rest. If the response of our order, was dealt with in a slightly more interested and helpful manner, I may have not left a negative review.

We ordered food on New Years Eve. We use Tin Sing a lot & we know they always busy, especially on New Year's Eve. so I ordered it very early(5pm when they opened )& hope that I won't get my meal too late as we have young children with us. Food arrived at 7pm which was good timing. Food was hot & very tasty as usual. Thank you Tin Sing.

Long black hair in my curry, chips really hard and re-heated and prawn toast with absolutely no prawn. Woman thought it was funny when I told her! This place has really gone down hill

I have been using this takeaway for well over twenty years and generally the quality of the food has been good and consistent. We had a meal a couple of weeks before and I found a 10" long black hair in my curry straight out the foil tin. The next time we went I told the woman who you could only describe as the rudest most miserable unprofessional person you will ever meet. I say this because she always has been but you don't eat her so you kind of put up with her bad manners etc. Her answer to the hair was...."I don't know how, the chefs have no hair". Kind of strange because the hair was identical to hers in length and colour. She then tried to pass it off as a beanshoot but when I insisted it was definitely a hair she walked away laughing. The worse thing was, I was only informing her of the issue previously and not trying to get something for nothing. The meal itself was about the worse I have ever had there. The chips tasted like they had been re-heated several time and we're all hard, the black bean sauce tasted of ....well nothing and was full of cabbage and the chicken curry was also not upto scratch.

We often use this takeaway. It is one of the better ones in Grantham. We have no problem with the food. Our favourite is 74c

good food(hot) some takeaways by the time you get it are cold,great choice but allow time when ordering

Tin cantar siempre es nuestra favorita para llevar chino, nos encanta su carne Chilie, fideos de Singapur y curry. Siempre pedimos los mismos platos. Nos gusta nuestra comida picante. Última semana queríamos probar algo nuevo, así que pedimos las gambas de sal y pimienta, el pollo salcita satay suave en brochetas, así como nuestra habitual. Me sorprendió cuando llegó. pollo de satay normalmente viene con una salsa peanuty pero ellos están secos, sin salsa ) Pero eran increíbles, picante y tan, tan sabroso. Los langostinos son también muy, muy delicioso. Muy contentos y nos hicieron una buena elección.

Probé la satay de aquí a tres años y me encanta!! Yo tengo una comida para llevar desde aquí por lo menos una vez por mes para la satay!! La única queja es que el camino que se habla por teléfono cuando a pedir!! Pero la verdad es que no se puede pedir más a tiempo, caliente y sabrosa

Yo tenía el mein la comida Singapur recientemente de estaño cantar y estaba delicioso. Sin duda volveré a probar otros platos.

Tener amigos vienen de Australia. Tratan de una comida china para llevar nuestra favorita Tin cantar. Una vez más, fabulosa comida, como siempre. Nuestro amigo me encanta la comida. Especialmente la carne Chilie y Singapur fideos. Curry también era bueno. Aunque tuvimos que esperar más de una hora para que los alimentos entregados, pero aún así vale la pena la espera. Nuestros amigos dijeron sin duda pediré otra vez antes de viajar a Australia.

As chinese take-aways go in Grantham (and there are plenty of them TIn Sings is quite a good one. Its hidden away in a back street not too far fron the centre of town and worth visiting

Tried this takeaway for the first time, as regular one was closed. Selected here, due to hygiene rating of 5. The food tasted rubbish - seemingly cheap ingredients, overcooked rice and noodles. Yuk! Will not be using there again.

Have been going to this take out for years now and still love it. There is a good selection though always get the same thing :-) the delivery times are generally quick and the portions are very reasonable. Would recommend
