Taj Mahal Buffet in South Kesteven

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE Tried ordering from them on 16th March 2024 however even though they took our money it turns out they have closed down

Wouldn't know where to even begin with this one. Caught them at a bad time maybe? But it was dreadful.

The food was terrible . The staff tried to accommodate us, by bringing out requests. When they brought out the requested food, it was frozen and had no taste. We then tried to explain to the staff what the issue is, they said it wasn’t their fault as they were just trying to get the food out to us, as quick as possible. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Mo one else in,but it is mid week.. food is not good..cold boiled to its death.. rice is mush.. would not normally put a review, but this is sorry to say but bloody awful

Poor selection. No dessert. Charged more than advertised on the website. Managed to complete the whole payment process without a single please or thank you. Won’t be coming back.

Sadly the smell of the food did not get past the awful small of the table. Food was mediocre and disapointing. Not great.

Food wasn’t good at all and they had limited options. Had to get asked to cook as there was nothing to eat.

On arrival found after booking online I needn't have bothered as virtually empty apart from take away drivers waiting in the restaurant where you dine, and the front of the restaurant entrance windows very dirty and in need of a good clean, we where greeted by a chap in a yellow sweatshirt who showed us to a table while drivers bustled in and out past us (not a good look) we waited for starters to be made and drinks where brought out, we started on the buffet minus nan bread that a other couple enjoying that was bought out to them, after asking was told - The machine had broken down ! - all the time take aways where going out ! Starters stand outs had chips and very cheap mini spring rolls and Samosa. How many take aways do not have nan bread with there order one has to ask ? £14.99 plus drinks with a major part of your meal missing.... What a change in a year 😔

Happy to have found a lovely new family-owned buffet lounge offering a variety of food with cuisines like Nepalese, Indian and Chinese. Favourite starters: Fish Pakoras, Meat Samosas, Green Chutney, Onion Baji, Poppadom. Favourite mains: Lamb Jalfrezi, Chana Masala, Sag Aloo, Singapore Noodles, Garlic Naan Disability friendly and incredibly attentive staff members making our entire visit seamless. I ordered a takeaway for delivery at 7pm yesterday the owner phoned to say they was closing yes at 7pm he then phoned again and explained I can see you payed can we bring the order tomorrow meaning tonight I said yes he said I promise I will make a note of the order and I'm very sorry 3 times he phoned today I was at work so missed the calls No voicemail left I phoned up at 745pm The same person taj I believe his name was answered very abruptly saying do you want it today or Tomorrow I explained today that's why I'm phoning he then proceeded to shout to his staff about delivery then asked me to collect I explained I don't drive he then asked if I'd payed please note I had and he knows I had He then hung up on me After asking me to hold may I add he then waited 15 more minutes then phoned 4 more times I was busy and didn't have my phone I've now blocked his number I wouldn't want food off some place like this Its absolutely ridiculous so I'm £23.70 out of pocket please be careful of this place I then blocked the number and he started to immediately phone off a mobile which I also blocked and if he turns up with the food I wouldn't eat it as I wouldn't trust it with his attitude -10 stars I've never ever known such incompetence

Great selection of foods, all pre-prepared and ready. The staff are kind and welcoming, ready to serve and have many options for seating.

as we were the first to arrive as had booked for a table at 6pm it was empty, they open at 6pm, the , I presume manager, was attentive without hovering, the food was excellent & I tried all the dishes, the only let down was the dessert, just a cheesecake. Would go again

The food was good and all really freshly cooked. Staff were very friendly and attentive. There is not much in the way of decor. It feels a bit more like a canteen than a restaurant but if you want good food at a good price then this is great.

This place is fairly basic. It's a good buffet! Food is really nice, Staff could be more professional. The biggest downfall is the restaurant isn't very decorative. It lacks comfort and the walls are basic. Do I recommend it? Yes! But if you don't want a boring experience go when it's busy 👍

Really amazing place with great customer service. The food was really delicious, lots of choice, my favourite was the chili chips! So tasty! All the food tasted really fresh and not too salty, it was just right! The place was clean, bright with lots of space. The staff were all really friendly and we were made to feel welcome! We shall be back again! Definitely try out this place you won't be dissatisfied 😊

Very friendly staff! Best tasting food in town. Hands down better than edon. All you can eat buffet. Top quality food. Indian Chinese and napalese all on the same plate. Excellent beer too. Crazy this place isn’t packed out!

Went for mother's Day attentive staff and good food!

Not the best by any stretch. Went about 7pm. Mainly lukewarm leftovers. Overpriced for what it is. The place was nearly empty on a Saturday night! Suppose that says it all.

While on a weekend away we booked Taj Mahal on the basis of its good but limited reviews. We were concerned when very few people were in the restaurant and as it turned out this was correct. Having ordered drinks we took to the buffet and unfortunately all the starters were stone cold. The manager did tell us when fresh food came out but this was not much as we were only ones in. What was more disturbing was it seemed the manager then turned the heated servers on. I'm fairly sure warming cold food in this way cannot be correct. Some of the mains were warm but noodles were also stone cold. The venue itself was absolutely freezing, there was a fan heater near the table but we weren't advised to turn this on and staff did not turn it on. I appreciate things are squeezed by current circumstances but to not heat the venue or food seems counter productive as though money may be saved I imagine ourselves and many other customers will never return. The food which was warm was perfectly acceptable but unfortunately there was too much cold food and too unpleasant a dining experience for this to rate anything above poor.

Was completely empty when we walked in, had second thoughts but decided to take a seat. What a suprise! Friendly staff and owner, food was fantastic with a variety of Chinese and Indian food available. Definitely a hidden gem!

This place looks like it could do with your support. Nice smiley greed at the door. Not a lot of choice but what they had was quality. Went there family of four for the dinner buffet deal and it was really good value for money I thought. Fish tank was a hit with the kids, make sure you keep it clean.

Different flavors of Asia... Everyone will find something for himself... You pay PLN 12.50 and eat as much as you can 😁... I recommend this place

Great place with fab food freashly cooked and really friendly staff who offer a great sevice where nothing is to much trouble. Well worth a visit. Ooh and the do great cocktails!!!!!! There was 17 of us and the food kept being tppped up at all times.

Food was good. Service and atmosphere i gave 3 🌟 because there was very cold inside. You can't relax and enjoy your meal.

Super friendly service, great choice of buffet starters (x8) with all the sauces & poppadoms you could hope for. Same with the Mains & naan bread prepared & cooked to order. Highly recommended, I shall go back again.

Went to the Taj Mahal buffet with a group of friends . Food was beautiful and freshly cooked with plenty of choice. Staff were amazing as was the decor and ambience making a lovely relaxed and enjoyable experience. Will visit again.

We really enjoyed the food. A good selection of Indian and Chinese. The naan bread is the best I've ever eaten. The evening was very relaxed and informal, something we really appreciated. My husband and I went in for the buffet last Sunday, just passed by chance, What a find!!! The food was second to none the service was second to none. The whole experience was excellent, and we enjoyed every mouthful. Would definitely recommend you won't be disappointed. We will be back very soon :)

Good friendly service. Great tasting Indian food. Lunch is served to you at your table after you have made your curry selection. You are provided with excellent assortment of starters along with nan breads etc. Fantastic value for money. Evening service is buffet style with many other options. The restaurant is immaculate and very spacious. I like this restaurant and would recommend it to everyone. A big thank you to all the staff from my wife and I.

Amazing food!!! Everything we tried was delicious and huge variety. We went with kids who are very picky and often we can not find a place to satisfy both of them at once. Fusion Buffet had all and more for them to be happy and leave with full bellies. Very friendly staff and incredibly talented cook's. Reasonable pricing.

The number of options offered aren’t overwhelming at all so it gives you the opportunity to savor each dish and have your fill. 5 stars to the chef, everything was delicious from all the flavorful dishes to the freshly made cheese and garlic naan. The best part was the staff, they were soooo welcoming and accommodating, that you travel back and forth to the buffet table with a happy heart.

It's OK, never been before and didn't know until we had been a while that we can order pizza and naan bread to be cooked fresh. Selection wasn't huge, food was good enough for price

It's ok here for a quick bite to eat. Food was hot, selection kept all 4 of us happy. Freshly cooked pizza is a great option to go for!

I was greeted at the door. Was informed what dishes are coming and what time it will be ready. The staff were attentive but not overpowering, there was a birthday party progress, the food was wonderful I ate all I put on my plate. We enjoyed our meal, I will visit Fusion Buffet again and I will be booking my birthday and wedding anniversary meal there. Fusion continue to keep up the good service. Brilliant buffet with great quality service. Took care of me and my family with the special attention towards some Vegan requirements. Really enjoyed my experience and will be passing now regularly when I come to Grantham. A must visit when in town! Thank you all for your great service and brilliant team.

Absolutely fantastic food. The chef catered a special dish on our request. I will highly recommend Ishan Acharya ( the chef/ owner) and his team.

Always tasty, always friendly. Locals should support this 'all you can eat' buffet or they'll lose another good place to eat. We'll be back.

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely setting. Took the kids and one is extremely fussy. The staff couldn't be more helpful. If you prefer really spicy food you may be disappointed but it was perfect for us and the kids.

The foods are delicious and the staff puspha is really accomodating, the chef as will Ishaan he cooked as very nice food special.

All ways have a good meal here the fresh naan breads are amazing. Selection is ok - food is always kept fresh and tasty. The staff are fantastic and can not do enough for you.

Food was okay, but the menu limited. Only two out of four pizzas arrived, but they were made fresh. The place had the ambiance of a 90s Whimpy Burger.

Fusion buffet. It's a wonderful place to meet with family and friends. The food was very very tasty, in plentiful supply. The staff were excellent and helpful also attentive, on the whole a fantastic evening out. Thanks to all the staff.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be returning. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is of very high standard, freshly cooked and super tasty. You must try one of the fresh naan breads cooked to order. I will be recommending this restaurant to all my family and friends.

After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. Well what a disappointment. Those that have left good reviews either have no taste buds or are dreaming if they think this is a good restaurant. Online menu is deceiving. No Italian dishes were on offer, just curries and two Chinese dishes. The food was only just warm and lacked any flavour. My son will eat most things, and even he had very little to eat. The dessert was the best part of the food that was on offer. The menu advertised on their Facebook page is a mile away from what they serve. Was not impressed so will not be returning. Staff were friendly enough and the place was very clean. But the food lacked flavour and more choice needs to be avaliable. Not worth the price you pay per person.

I had a meal here with a group of friends last night and it was fantastic. The food from the buffet was all great and anything that wasn't on display, like pizza, could be ordered at no additional cost. The staff were all very friendly and attentive - making sure we were enjoying our meals, clearing our table, and asking if we would like any more drinks or anything specially ordered like pizza, naan bread etc. For the price you pay it is an absolute bargain and I will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and hopefully be visiting again sometime soon!

Great variety and clean restaurant

Oriental/Eastern cuisine served as a buffet. It was something different and we really enjoyed the food and the experience.

Each time we have been the service has been pleasant, polite and efficient. The food is so tasty and freshly cooked with a variety of Indian, Chinese and Italian dishes. Plenty of space between the tables.

Visited with my Dad and Stepmum on a Monday evening. Was quiet, but the food and service was exceptional. Full recommend and will be visiting again 👍

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everything is clean and tidy, the staff are happy to help whenever possible and the food! The food alone earned a 5* rating in my opinion. I have fussy children that don't enjoy spicy food and even they asked, "Mum, why can't you make food like this at home?"

Amazing food and outstanding customer service! By far the best food I've had since I moved to Grantham. I highly suggest trying it out, if you have any fussy eaters within the family then you can request something to be made like pizza or chicken nuggets.
