Tin House Cantonese take away in Telford and Wrekin

Wow! First time ordering. Despite travelling 20 mins to Tin House and 20 mins back home, the food was still hot! No other words but amazing, tasty, fresh and cooked to perfection. Picture below of crispy chilli beef, king prawns and chicken wings in chilli n salt. I had eaten some of it so portions were bigger. The Happy Family special dish too is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended and a great website to order from too. Only gripe is that you cannot pre-order on their website hence 3 stars and not 5. We will be back though, Thank you.

2 hours waiting. Phoned them and my other hasn’t left the shop. Will not be ordering from them again. They have lost A loyal customer. That’s why they are getting 1 star from me.

Appalling reception from the owner yesterday evening. Abrupt rude and very unwelcoming. Will not be returning. It may have been the eve of Chinese New Year and you may have been fully booked. In which case you should have explained. Your manners and unprofessional attitude sucks !!! Instead I went to the take away New City whose food was delicious and the welcome warm and polite.

Worse chinese we have had, dry and tasteless food

Had a delivery from Tin house we were very disappointed cold and tasteless. Definitely won't be ordering from there again.

1st time trying this Chinese, ordered on line, was given a time and it was ready no waiting around, Food was brillant, one of the very best we had. Will order more next time now we no.

Ordered tofu in black bean sauce as. A take out. It was raw and slimy. We've never had it that undercooked before so it went in the bin. This is now the second time this has happened. The last time the peppers tasted of mould too. We will never be returning again

Great food Good value Highly recommended

Missing items plus send food out that was not what we ordered. Used and sent us wheat noodles, we orderd vermicelli. Wheat in which my partner is allergic too as well as beansprouts. We mentioned the beanaprouts in the instructions section before paying. Sending out food some one is allergic too is really bad and can cause hospitalization or worse. I'm really not happy with this resturante or it's service.

First time we have used the tin house but it will definitely not be the last, the ordering was handled expertly and we got everything we had asked for which is unusual these days, delivery was on time, the food was excellent, the flavours were superb, and it was hot, we have used a lot of different Chinese and Cantonese take aways over the years, but this was the best by a long way, the test now is, can they keep the high standards they have set, we certainly hope so because of they can, we won't be using anywhere else

Last couple of times have not been good at all. Dry, no proper flavour and barely warm. Ordering is easy and very friendly, but won't be using again.

Always an excellent meal from here and lovely staff on the phone who take the orders . They do the best crispy beef in hot / sweat sauce. Highly recommended

We ordered from tin house as our regular Chinese was closed & safe to say tin house will be our new regular, the food tasted absolutely amazing😍 the crispy beef has been on my mind ever since I ate it, im sure my pregnancy cravings will mean we will be ordering that again very soon! Thank you 😊

Never been disappointed in the food, whether collected or delivered it’s always hot, tasty and represents decent value for money.

Ordered before 8:30 and it was very simple stuff. Received phone call to say an item not available so changed for something else. It is now 5mins to 10pm called them and order still not ready an told would be another 20mins. Excuses were they been shut for 2 weeks, only 2 drivers, busy and even if we ordered a bag of chips we would of had to of waited. We cancelled the order. This was are 3 bad experience and will not be using them again.

My go to Chinese tried so many different ones in telford and keep coming back to this place even though i have to travel 12 miles for pick up as its worth it!

Really lovely food. Ordered to collect and was ready within a few minutes of the time I was given. 5 stars.

I tried this after a recommendation. It was ok but a lot blander than my usual place and the chicken wings were a bit greasy. I will stick to my usual next time.

If you're looking for vegan takeaway, just ask for anything on their vegetarian menu to be made vegan. They are so accommodating and I've never had any issues. The Szuechan bean curd is like spicy sweet and sour tofu, one of my faves with mixed vegetable chow mein they will swap egg noodles for vermicelli 😍

We ordered our food on a Thursday afternoon for Friday collection. When we arrived it was ready and waiting and we eat on Saturday to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday. We had a selection of starters and my oh my how good this food is...Marvellous is the only word to express my thoughts. Will return very soon.Many thanks.

Shocking! We ordered at 5:30pm today, and there was a warning on the website to state that delivery could be up to 2 hours. We were fine with this, but over 2 and a half hours later, we still have no food. I’ve called the takeaway over and over again and each time it says ‘caller busy’ as if someone has taken the phone off the hook! All I’d appreciate is a courtesy call to say that it will be late, I’m not asking for the world, but instead I’m left trying to chase them down! It’s a real shame because the food we’ve had from you before has always been lovely, but you’ve completely put us off ever ordering from you again!

Food is ok but if you want to eat at a reasonable time, call the day before. 3 hrs for £26 worth of food is unacceptable. Try somewhere else if you want the food the same night. Won't be ordering from here again.

They “lost” my website order, took 2.5 hours to eventually be delivered after chasing up. 2nd time this has happened in 3 orders... I was offered a voucher (not at first, took 2 phonecalls) but I just don’t want the drama of wondering “will it be delivered/won’t it be delivered” One error I could forgive, but two times in three orders... no thanks

Omg just has the best meal ever, roast pork curry, beef curry (so tender) and chicken with ginger and spring onion. The prawn toast was also amazing. Thanks tin house xx

Ordered for delivery within the hour it had arrived still piping hot best take away I have had for a long time! Never had a bad take away from here but that one was best by far.

I ordered food about 2 weeks ago. The food was great so thought I would order again. Unfortunately the delivery has gone from £5 to £7 and the minimum spend for delivery has gone from £13 to £20. Ohh well I will have to find another takeaway.

Prawn balls sent instead of chicken luckly I got them and not my partner who is allergic!!!! On my sons order they sent pork again instead of chicken. Food very dry and obviously reheated messaged them on Facebook and got ignored. I would avoid

Excellent service and good prices, definitely worth trying

Had takeaway ,as we do probably 2 times a week. Never had any problems but tonight it was not good at all. I ordered at 5-45 ish,was told it would be 40 mins,6-45 rang to see where it was& was told it was on it's way. 7-10 my tea arrived,unfortunately it was cold& the curry sauce pot had broken,so didn't have full amount.

I've ordered food from here a few times and never been disappointed so was very happy to eat at the restaurant and the food was even more amazing. Eight of us sat down for food and the service was friendly and fast with wine and beers topped up without asking. The owner was very welcoming and he was happy for us to sit down for over three hours, we never felt rushed. Great staff, great food I would definitely recommend this place.

Its a brilliant place to order take away food from. Have good customer service, representative aswell as great timing for delivery. I would highly recommend it to family and friends.
