Timothy's Fish & Chips in Liverpool

Soggy oily chips the fish was like something out of the canal the gravy was like tar. Was that salty my gums receded

Bought fish & chips x2 tonight chips were disgusting cold & soggy with grease both lots of chips went straight in the bin won't be getting our custom again really going down not as good as used to be. Seemed more interested with deliveries.

Very disappointed last visit. Only a sausage dinner, was really looking forward to one after long hard, cold day in work. Chips were kind of hard and chewy, sausage was luke warm and again, kind of a harder than normal texture (maybe because it wasn't hot) and very little gravy. Top layer covered but all dry underneath. Threw half away. Only ate first half because I was starving. Disappointing, never thought of it as a great chippy but it was OK. Won't be back.

Left standing there for 10 mins with one other person in the shop. Staff didn't even look or talk to me.

Great mixed kebab meat over chips for £6.

We,ve just had the worse portion of chips we have ever had. £2.50 for sloppy chips. Not like it was last time we were there. So disappointing!

Gorgeous food! I have never had a chippy delivered as hot as this was think i will need a tongue graft after going to eat a chip🤣 would 100% recommend this chippy this will be my new go to!

Food was good, partner enjoyed his Fish and Chips. It was more expensive than advertised online, they need to add a new menu online with updated prices.

Known this man for many a long year, had a very enjoyable special fried rice this time. Highly recommended.

Have been coming to this chippy for over 20+ years, and gladly keep coming another 20. Meals are generous sized and delicious, chips are always fluffy & perfect while sauces always hit the spot. And your missing out if don't try the battered burgers ha.

Bit expensive £2,50 for a portion of chips?

when online too order a banquet 4 2 it said £18 online so I got ribs aswell at a extra cost when I got there asked 4 £37 WHAT CIPPY CHARGES £37 4 a meal 4 two

Large fish very greasy £4.90 !! Curry rice & chips...meal drowned in a salty gooey sauce 'curry' £2.30p = £7.20p never again 😶

The fish is freshly fried and amazing. So good I wanted to go back and get another but I resisted the temptation 🤣🤣

Chips Luke WARM and donner meat was rubbery and bun was burnt on edges also counter assistant was off hand and mannerless would not recommend this chip shop at all

Went here tonight food was perfect the fish is the best fish I’ve probably ever had nice white flesh no smell of fish that’s how you know it’s fresh when theirs no fishy smell, ordered chow mein as well that was good just wouldn’t usually be peppers in chow mein I think, too marks for the fish though ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great fish & chip shop Been going hear for years now & it's the only one I'll go to around here. Wide variety,always tastes great,can be quite busy so I usually ring through first. My only judgement is I prefer when the son is on cooking rather than dad as dad over cooks the burgers compared to his son for me

Kebab and fried rice are the best. If you have a sweet tooth like me order bbq sauce and chips.

I was passing though old swan on my way home and was Hank Marvin, so I called into Timothys chippie. I'm a chef so I thought as it was late at night id get walm ups or something of that sort but to my surprise everything was made to order and was very tasty and piping apart from that I found the staff delightful and was able to engage ,Big Well done Timothys you changed my mind on expectation late of a night Wd

DISGUSTING Have even just thought about keeping it and giving a sample to the relevant people to see if it's safe to eat... Honestly there was chicken in my meal which had sauce on but chicken was hard plus the rice was hard, the main ingredient in the meals is lots and lots of onions..REALLY BAD AVOID...

Delicious, good North England style Fish and chips. Also serves chinese food. Reasonably priced but remember to bring cash as they don't accept cards.
