Tim Hortons in Burnley

As a coffee lover I have always wanted to try the infamous Tim Hortons brand, synonyms in Canada for their timbits and excellent coffee. We were visiting family in Burnley recently and happened to come across this place and I wad excited to give it a try. The coffee is excellent, I can recommend the French vanilla latte, even my partner who is not a big coffee drinker is a convert to a Timmys coffee now. We have sampled the food on a couple of visits, the burgers are OK, not amazing, but they have a good price value when compared to the likes of Five Guys or Burger King. The grilled cheese, or cheese and ham is a tasty grill cheese toasted sandwich, and light lunch with a coffee, again at a decent price point too. We have not sampled the breakfast yet, but we will be going back to try as they do have some good deals on the breakfast meals up till 10.30am, which we have always sadly missed. We have travelled over from Blackpool to Burnley a few times now to get coffee here and we are so overwhelmed by the customer service of the staff. One of the members took time chatting to us on her break on our first visit, and has remembered us on each visit since, giving us a warm welcome and even letting us have some free timbits and donuts as a thank you for our continued support for them. That Canadian customer service spirit is certainly "aboot" in Burnley! We are just disappointed that there is not one closer to us as we would be regular customers.

Having read the former reviews, if you say how you would like your food , ie hot, extra crispy bacon, coffee extra hot… the staff are really accommodating and more than happy to please! They now have an exceptional manager, Manu, super-friendly and professional, who goes above and beyond for client attention to detail. We come here several times a week for breakfast whilst working in the area for six months. Always a nice relaxed, unhurried atmosphere here.

My husband and I decided to go to Tim Hortons for breakfast yesterday after visiting lots of Tim Hortons in Canada last year . Unfortunately noI comparison to the ones in Canada. I had a breakfast meal bacon egg and cheese on a bap. The bacon if you can call it that was mainly fat maybe a very thin line of bacon !!! Over cooked egg and to top it all it was cold , my husband had a breakfast wrap cold just the same . I complained to the manager who said they served every thing at room temperature??? It was a very cold day so maybe that’s why it was all cold 🤣🤣🤣will never go back don’t think any of the staff were over 18 including the manager . Don’t think it will be open long serving the rubbish we had

Abysmal - never in my life have I witnessed such apathy in staff. Restaurant a mess yet only a few tables occupied. On another note: paper one use cups to sit in! Seriously. Two cappuccino - how one could be hot and the other cooler is a mystery. A ’toasted’ bagel that didn’t qualify as toasted. Certainly won’t be returning. My advice? Try any of the other coffee shops in Burnley and don’t waste your money here.

Do you want an authentic Canadian experience? You can get it here by sitting in minus degree cold air-conditioning while you eat your cold burger and cold undercooked lattice fries. Finish off this amazing experience by getting stiff jaw chewing on a stale tasting donut. You can watch the branch manager chatting to his mate rather than working too. Such fun!!🥶🍩👎

Disgusting food. The drinks aren’t too bad but expensive but the food literally made us feel sick. It’s just like a cheap rustler burger. Avoid.

Order double cheese burger was cold and rubbery and some kind of frites so called flat chips which also was cold. And a box of sugar coated donuts balls 2 which were equally inedible. We were offered 2 full size donuts because the ordering was wrong. Theses donuts were heavy sugared coated. This is not healthy eating one bite we couldn’t eat.
