Tikka Indian Takeaway in Wirral

-5 if there is an option to do that . We ordered two dishes and both were pathetic. Both dishes had artificial food colouring and was not edible.

It's already the second order I've placed and I'm very happy with it. Very quick delivery and excellent food. I recommend it to everyone.

We get from Tikka fairly regularly and are always very happy with the food, all comes quickly & is flavourful and lovely :) one of the few places on the Wirral which offers Paneer versions with all their curry so is grea5 for us as veggies!

THIS is 110% the best Indian on the Wirral,and one key point about these peps is the way they transport an package your food for it to stay either hot meals or cold,just perfect ,tandoori mixed king prawn is my favourite,also I like the butter chicken,fresh as u can get.try.try.try

Ordered via the app at 6.30. Delivery time said 7.30, brilliant. 8pm no sign so I ring, delivery driver answers and says it will be with you in half an hour sorry the machine has broke. I asked if any longer than 30 mins to be told no. 8.35pm and our takeaway still isn’t here!!!!! Rang again to say it was on it way and a manger will phone me back. No phone call from anyone and delivery finally came at 9.05. Nearly 3 hours after placing the order. Disgraceful, if there was an issue with the machine then why not ring your customers when the order comes through to say this? Not only that we ordered a chicken tikka balti and the sauce was different to usual. Used tikka for years but very disappointed.

Was going to order takeaway. Offer 10% on collection orders then noticed they ad £0.60 “service fee”. Charging a gratuity for takeaway collection is a bit rich. Appreciate it’s not much but still a bit cheeky when they only do takeaway.

Food was delivered hot & the smell was Devine! Food was delicious, from the mixed kebab to my lamb tikka masala.

Placed order at 8:10pm and received an email stating delivery time 21:24. Tikka are normally much faster than their estimated time. Called at 21:42 to be told the delivery driver is on his way. Phoned back at 22:10 to see where they were up to be be told the order had been cancelled due to no lamb? Horrendous service. This is not the Tikka we have used for years.

Food is nice but don't bother using the website to order because they don't check it and then claim it's 'only just come through' when you call after waiting for two and a half hours

No one impressed at all in our party. After using for over 20 years I think it’s time to look for another. Waiting time was excessive. Meat cooked ok but just lacked flavour and taste. Unlikely to reorder.

I've given them many times to sort out their delivery times, but 2 hours is taking the Mick. Why on earth does it take 2 hours from ordering the food for it to arrive, surely this is unacceptable to the management, or do they just not care? Never use their delivery service, only reliable for pickup, which isn't ideal so you might want to look elsewhere?

1st time tonight ordered poppadoms chicken tika bhuna and chicken makhini absolutely superb best I've had in years will definitely be back

Me and my partner enjoy a lovely meal from tikka every weekend and we have never had cause to complain at all.wonderful food with fantastic service and very friendly staff.It is a very clean establishment and you are able to see your meal being cooked by the chefs.we would give tikka 10 out of 10 and recommend anybody to try it.

Quite simply one of the best places around for Indian food. Always fantastic quality, good prices and always delivered on time. Highly recommended.

Amazing curry, delivery can take a little while but it is well worth it. The food is full of flavour and the garlic chilli chicken is outstanding

Not great at all. Ordered for 8pm and received at 8.45pm. When it arrived I checked if it was hot and then accepted it. The mains were like goo, something from a tin. No taste at all and we were really disappointed.

Ordered thru just eat b4 the restaurant opened, we got a confirmed delivery time and 15 mins before delivery all just eat orders were cancelled, I’ve since learned that as a premium Is paid to use just eat app that if they are busy taking orders via other means phone etc, they turn just eat off cancelling pre orders, we had waited nearly 3 hours only for our order to be cancelled 15 mins b4 confirmed delivery time!! Not happy and a lost customer!!

We are delighted to have tried this place. Weve ordered from the same indian takeaway for a few years, but have been disappointed the last couple of times so decided to try somewhere now. The food was delicious, fresh, full of flavour, it was hot on arrival and generous portions. Delivery driver was lovely. This is our new indian takeaway!

I hate having to write negatively towards this take away as it is honestly the nicest indian food I've eaten from a take away but every time I've ordered weve waited for over an hour and a half delivery and seems as though they take the phone off the hook so you cant chase your order. Not good when you have ordered for the family which includes children, now cutting into their bedtime and still waiting for our order. It's such a shame too as I'm considering not ordering from here solely based on the delivery times being shocking. I understand its the weekend but I've ordered in the week and it's been the same, a few weeks ago I didnt even receive my order at all. I let this slide as I spoke to who seemed to be the manager and they apologised and sent it out the next evening. But now this is taking the mick 6:15pm we ordered and it's now 8pm and cant even chase it up as the phone line says constantly "line busy"!!!

Unbelievable, what are wrong with these guys, 2 hours to deliver a meal. Why even offer takeaway, there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of service, disgraceful!!

Food was nice, but took over 1 and a half hours to arrive. Not even on a weekend, just a random midweek, so no excuse really to take so long. Others I've spoken to say the same, said it's a shame as until they sort their delivery times they won't be going back.

Always great food but delivery times are awful always have to chase. Currently waited an hour and forty five mins for two wraps, pakora and chicken chaat and still not delivered

Was our first choice for a while as the food was always really nice. However, it took nearly 2 hours to be delivered last night. It always takes a while but this was the worst.

The food took over an hour to arrive, IV used tikka a few times now, but this time it was awfull. Poppadoms were soggy, the chicken in the pathia was dry and the chips Were still hard not even cooked disappointed as it used to be nice.

Just ordered and had my dinner from this place, I ordered the saagwalla, with veg rice, it was very delicious and I would definitely recommend this place to all of my local friends. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and it's very interesting to watch the chefs cook. Will definitely be making a return soon.

Had occasion to pay a visit to the new Tikka indian takeaway on entering I noticed that it was very clean and the on view Kitchen was also to a very high standard I was greeted with a warm smile and was helped through the menu as to what my tastes might be, Ordered my food which was promptly cooked in front of me I took home my takeaway and I must say it was really authentic and Flavoursome I would recommend this Eatery Highly.

First time ordered, good points food was hot and on time Bad points- curry was like water and not spicy or hot at all, certainly not what I'd expect from a madras, chips were average other sauces were poor, sorry but this was the first and last time we order from here

this review is based on the meal we had on 22/05/2017, we have had meals from the previous indian takeaway Eastern style Tandori and they were great, so when i seen that this had gone and a new Indian was there I thought lets give it a go. so I ordered Chicken tikka vindaloo with mushroom rice. now here is the review based on this meal alone as my wife meal was adequate so not really a problem. The chicken Tikka was not marinated in any way just plain boiled chicken quite tasteless really. The vindaloo curry sauce was weak in texture and appearance, very little heat from this south indian dish more like a Dhansak or very cool madras. The rice had very little flavour to offer also and very watery when served. The chicken tikka vindaloo was poor at best, tasted more like an asda curry , watery and weak. Overall a very disappointing experience and that £19.00 we will not see again. I don't think we will be using this takeaway again in the future unless drastic measures are out in place to increase the food quality. Sorry for the negative review but this is how the meal was and how we felt eating and post meal discussion.

Really good food. First time I have been. Made an error with part of the order but was a genuine mistake. Sorted out without any problems, so no issues really. Fantastic Lamb Vindaloo, really nice quality lamb. Will now consider this my regular curry house!
