Tikitail Cocktail Bar & Grill in Wandsworth

I visited Tikitail for the cocktails but stayed for the food. The brunch was a delightful surprise, with beautifully presented dishes and vibrant flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, making it a memorable experience. Tikitail is definitely worth a visit!

The view is everything and more however the wait time was a bit too long, but the food was worth the wait. The young lady at the door, the hostess I don’t even remember her name But I can’t forget that smile and forehead, she was very welcoming, she made sure I got my drink and even soup because of how the busy my waitress was. I’m definitely coming back! Didn’t get any pics because of the rain so content next visit.

I attended this venue with family. I ordered a poke ay bowl. The salmon was tasty and the sushi rice was edible. However the rest of the meal was absolutely tasteless the honey glazed sauce was extremely sweet. The bowl was swimming in the sauce which was not enjoyable to eat. I expressed my view politely on this stating I was not happy to pay for it. As the majority of my meal I could not eat. Please note the manager was sitting in proximity and saw this as well as my plate at this time however did not approach me to discuss this. Upon us paying for the bill I repeated my view. The manager (Kam) approached me and was extremely rude, confrontational and aggressive. She stated it needed to be paid for all, she said all I left was the garnish/salad. Please note a poke ay bowl is mostly salad!! Firstly, I would expect a manager to seek to understand why a customer is unhappy, this did not happen! I would have been happy to pay for items I did eat but I was not happy to be charged for the whole meal. Kam stated ‘its not my fault you don’t like salad’ unbelievable! Kam pretty much threatened me and my family member. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism as a paying customer. Initially stating she did not need to give me her name but proceeded to do so. I attempted to reason with her in terms of how she approached me however she continued to communicate me with unbelievable aggression. Stating that if we continue (we were merely speaking with her) we would be escorted out of the restaurant. Honestly shocking! I will not be returning to this restaurant again and I will recommend that family and friends do not return! I do have to note the staff were very polite during my time there it’s such a shame that the manager completely let the whole restaurant down. I am a black diner however unfortunately if I was a white woman I would never have been spoken too like that. It should be a pleasure to dine in a black owned restaurant without having the manager square up to me. Given that COVID-19 is still very much existent I did not appreciate the invasion of my personal space. I asked her to leave the conversation she responded she will stay in front of me as long as she wants. It is always interesting to see who restaurant owners are prepared to be dismissive too. Absolutely disgusting!

I have been to this bar several times and each time it does not disappoint. Great atmosphere and staff, drinks are fairly priced.

This is a real Aloha find indeed: Hawaiian style food that’s pretty authentic and of high quality. ‘Ono Grinds here for sure! - as the Hawaiian natives would say. ...and If that’s not enough, Nick (Cocktail expert turned chef) is one of the most knowledgable and hospitable people you could ever meet. Leaving nothing to chance, he went the extra mile to ensure our experience was as close to perfect as could be. Granted, we let it be known that we had married on Poipu Beach at the island of Kauai, and so we had high expectations: and we were not disappointed. The Poke was fresh, well presented, and attention to detail noticed and well received. In truth, The credit really goes single handed to Nick as the front and back of house provider, but I’m going to spare a thought for the Jamaican owners whom have facilitated a wonderful venue that captures the spirit but without being kitch. The fact that they have handed over the day to day operation to such a capable guy is to be applauded too, so thanks to them for making this venue happen. Can’t wait till we can visit to dine and enjoy the whole atmosphere rather than the obvious limitations of legally enforced takeaway only. A big mahalo to you all.

I went here for the first time with friends, had an amazing time, great food, attentive friendly staff and great atmosphere. Would recommend it and will definitely be going back 👍🏼👍🏼

Tiki Tails is a fantastic restaurant serving delicious food! I am a Poke bowel fan and these are second to none. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, cool venue for parties and a lovely outdoor bar/courtyard at the back. Definitely will return.

The food the is amazing, the cocktails as well are fantastic, good prices and the staff are so friendly and helpful I’ll deffo be going again. It’s also in a convinent area if you live in Sw16 or sw17

They taste nice for sure.if you appreciate a blended juice drink then this is the place to go . All kinds of skimpy on the alcohol. I've had stronger pre mixed drinks out of a supermarket.

Hurrah! Poke has come to Tooting Market! Except it hasn't. 8pm on a Saturday night and, despite the menus on every table, not a morsel of food to be had. Just two lads mixing cocktails and downing tequila shots with the birthday girls. So....if anyone out there can actually bring poke to Tooting, step right up, because Tikitail aren't doing it.

I've been to Tikitail several times and every time it's been fantastic. The cocktails are made with care and always look and taste amazing. The music is great and atmosphere is upbeat. The staff are friendly especially the curly haired girl, she makes a great cocktail. If your ever in Tooting Broadway I would highly recommend a visit.
