Tiki Shack Smokehouse BBQ & Pizzeria in Darlington

Never had a problem with the place the foods always served well, great people! Prices of the food and drink were appropriate!

Stopping in the area on business and thought I would give this a try, walked in looking at the printed menu on the wall after 20 seconds while choosing I get asked what do I want to order, I replied I don't know I'm just choosing !! (Obvious) !! after selecting what I would like I moved to the counter where I was ignored, the girl then went on her mobile phone while I was stood there 😂😂😂 can't tell you what the food was like as I walked out !!! Don't touch this hole with a barge pole 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

La comida tardó una hora y media en llegar y era una piedra fría y pasada llamé para quejarme pero no disculpa? Nunca me pide de nuevo aquí es una vergüenza.

Took over a hour and a half to come delivery man rang to say was on the front to find he was at the wrong address which couldn't be any futher away when finally relieving it the order was not as described and ending up going in the dog bowl

Been here a couple of times, never had an issue before, ordered a plain burger over the phone, went to collect, got home and noticed it had everything on, called up and took 1.5 hours to get our replacement which was there error "because they were busy" shocking service, won't be using again.

I wouldn't give this chilli pig burger to my dog (If I had 1). Order not ready for collection, not as described on the menu. In a bun instead of ciabatta square. Missing cheese, missing lettuce and generally an absolute disgrace. Will never ever return to this filthy takeaway. Just look at the picture......!

Made an order for collection, my husband went to pick it up to be told they weren't aware of my order,he then got told there was no more chicken to make the pizza which he decided to choose an alternative meat. I'd ordered a "chillipig" which should of had cheese,salad,beef and pork on a ciabatta square... when my husband arrived back I opened it up to find no cheese,no salad, and basically a pile of dry mince on a regular floured bun. I rang up and spoke to the "Manager" who told me the chef didn't have any ciabatta bread and he remembered not putting cheese or salad in . I immediately requested a refund to be told they don't do refunds and I need to go back down for a new burger which I wasn't willing to do so they couldn't do anything more even though it wasn't what I ordered!! So disappointed, disgusting food and customer service truley awful!

Ordered from here numerous times! The food is just the best! Portions are in abundance, had the change a few things for family members and they were all to helpful to do that for me over the phone and on there online ordering, even collected a few times and the food is cooked fresh! Deffinetly got a customer for life here keep it up!

Por donde empiezo me dijeron algo de comida increíble fue producido por shack tiki. Pensamos que nos daría una oportunidad. bajo y se espera para nuestro decepcionado. Hicimos el pedido y caros como fue que no me importa pagar por lo que te dan. ni siquiera llegar. Llamamos a seguir el orden después de una que nos dijeron que sería 30 minutos a 45 minutos para hablar con un niño no tenía ni idea que no entendía inglés. Por consiguiente, a fin de que no ha sido enviado o cocidos y no se podrá comenzar este ya que son ocupados y llevará más de 40 minutos. Claramente hay que solucionar allí actuar. No vamos a volver allí

We order this evening for the 4th or 5th time since opening as the burgers are beautiful but this was only our second order of pizza as the first was lovely. This one was not. It was hot but had a totally different presentation and tomato base. Our first was slightly spiced and very flavoursome, this one was most definitely not. The toppings were also few and far between. On a plus side all the food was hot and the fries were seasoned to perfection, a very welcomed change to the usual greasy offering. This is the first time we have opted for delivery after a particularly busy day and it took an hour, bang on but they did say 45-60 minutes so I guess they did warn us. Overall we would probably try this again but I think I would steer clear of the pizza's so as not to be disappointed again.

Amazing food and such a refreshing change from a normal Take-away, we had burgers and pizza and they were well cooked and seasoned and well presented, delivery was only £1.50 more but delivered promptly and all still hot and ready to eat !!!! high recommended !!!

Been here a few times as live about 30 secs walk. Food is always hot and tasty, and one of the nicest burgers that I have had for a long time. Plenty of different things to try, Hawaiian King is my favourite so far. Highly recommended.

Second time ordering 1hr 50minutes until it was delivered and food was freezing, def won't be going back and will be telling friends, colleagues to steer clear!

First time I ever had a tiki shack today been wanting one for a while the prices are very reasonable the food was a 10/10 didn't have to wait very long for it also the staff were very friendly would recommend to anyone who asked definitely 5* rating and customer service 10/10

Something that has been needed in Darlington for a while. Ordered from here a few times now for delivery and food always arrives packaged well and hot. I don't mind waiting the average 45 minutes for a delivery if the quality is still up to standard. Mears are lovely and chicken fillets are very popular with me, People on the phone are lovely and polite and always explain any problems or anything they don't have in before we order. Will defiantly be back again. Chip seasoning should be sold in tubs too!

Ordered food for delivery, one of the new hunger deal thingys, food was amazing tasty, not to greasy like the average takeaway, cam nicely packaged, customer service was fabulous as well, person on the phone and the driver was lovely, 10/10 absolutely going to order again!!

Had a few of these now and can honestly say I would not go anywhere else. It is such a refreshing change than the usual takeaways on offer, and although I have often have to wait 45 mins ( average I would say for a takeaway) for delivery it is well worth the wait. Customer service was excellent and the BBQ sauces need to be bottled for sale as they are the nicest I have tasted.

Tried this place with my family when we fancied something different from the usual grease in a box, it took a while for our order to be ready but the manager(?) explained that everything was prepared fresh so the wait would be worth it.......totally true!!! Myself, the missus and our kids loved it! The stacked burgers are my favourite but everything we've tried so far has been tasty, something abit different to your normal takeaway and deffo worth trying :)

Food was pretty good, something a little different amongst the takeaways in Darlington. However the customer service left much to be desired, left items off my order and got the order wrong and grew angry when I complained and spoke as if I was a liar.

Amazing food!!! Very reasonable and the staff were spot on! Most takeaways are greasy and feel awful after but this wasn't greasy at all and tasted amazing!!!

Very rude and unprofessional staff who speak to customers with a lack of courtesy !!!!!

Highly recommend! The food is delicious and its not a 'run of the mill' takeaway. I love the Chilli Cheese Fries. The Pizzas are also amazing. My husband loves the Burgers. Also would recommend getting one of the homemade dipping sauces, I personally like the Bourbon BBQ.

Food was lovely but i wouldn't recommend delivery as food stone cold, although wudnt stop me going to get it myself as was reasonably priced and tasty.

Food is lovely. Came for a collection and saw food get cooked freshly in front of me. Everything tasted amazing especially the mac and cheese and bbq beans. The tiki special chip seasoning is to die for. Staff are lovely and friendly and are happy to help :) will defiantly be back :)

I really like food like this but I waited for 90 minutes, the food arrived almost cold, and although it was quite tasty, it wouldn't have been worth £18 even if it was delivered quickly and still hot. Really disappointed as I love BBQ food.
