Recently visited with family and we where not disappointed. From start to finish everyone was welcoming and helpful. Special shout out to Mel who couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back!

Celebrating exam results for our granddaughter all 4 meals very good,very prompt and friendly service by Leanne,had a couple of vouchers for free drinks from Greene King App which was an added bonus 😀

We called in for a couple of drinks and were met with a lovely smile from Leanne. She was very quick to serve us. The lager was spot on as usual. This pub is always a pleasant place to visit. We are always made to feel welcome, and tonight was no different. Leanne and Mazie are a credit to the Brinkburn.

Really nice freshly quality made food Fabulous friendly staff always polite make time for everyone. Nice atmosphere Good coffee only one niggle the biscoff cheese cake small portion and did not taste of anything.(sorry)

Lovely food great atmosphere and lovely staff

The Brinkburn Pub is my local, I went there to meet up with friend's and take part in Quizgo. Lots of fun. The staff are lovely and there is always a great atmosphere. The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the vegetarian and fish options are limited and of the ones that are, only the mac & cheese is delicious but I get bored of having that everytime I go in. I do eat fish, there is fish n chips and scampi & chips, both taste delicious but again it's limited compared to meat and poultry dishes where there is lots of choice.

The only problem we had was the orders not coming out together. 1 order was wrong . Then, when asked for BBQ sauce, for that order, I was told we had to pay an extra £1.80 for it. I had to wait in the queue again, and by the time I got it, my food was cold, and everyone else had finished. It's not like I hadn't spent almost £80 pounds

The Greene King menu isn't great in my opinion but it's always cooked well here. Great staff, friendly and helpful and a lovely atmosphere.

We have been coming to the Brinkburn pub with our 9 year old daughter since she was tiny. We visited today with our daughter and her friend- the staff are always so welcoming and friendly, which is the reason we keep coming back! Over the years there have been staff that have come and gone but Leanne, Kim and Nina have remained and ensure that the place keeps running like clockwork.

Staff are lovely and professional , served in good time always, pub is clean, toilets are always clean, food and drinks are great. Coming from a very regular customer.

Another great experience at this fantastic pub. Food spot on and service even more so. Would happily recommended this venue not just for food. But for the fantastic and friendly service every time

Came in today for a “quick” lunch before taking the kids to soft play. The staff were lovely, however did not make us aware of the long wait on food. Our drinks came quick & waitress was lovely. However, 40 minutes later & still no food. I go & ask a member of staff & get told that there is a 45 minute wait. Again, we were never made aware of this upon arrival or when our drinks were brought over to us. Another 10 mins went by but still no food. After 1 hour, our food finally arrives. 2 kids meals, 1 adult meal & some sides. Not a big order at all. The waitress did apologise for the wait & explained its due to “the high demand because of their new menu”. But we felt it was unprofessional that nobody came over to update us or apologise at any point throughout our wait. It took me going up to someone & asking after 40 minutes - for the staff to actually tell us what was going on. They did offer free dessert for the kids to apologise for the wait & lack of information. But due to needing to get to our next location & the food taking so long, we did not have time for this. I understand with a new menu it may delay it a bit. But an hour wait for food with no information beforehand or throughout. Please keep your customers updated on information such as long wait times. Especially when you see they have toddlers who were becoming upset. There was no problem with the food. Just please keep your customers up to date if there are long waits for any reason x

It was a treat for doing a good deed. They do let you know when they need the table as their so busy.

Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there, staff were friendly and welcoming, it did get rather busy and there were people waiting a while but the food did look nice.

The Brinkburn is our favourite food place to go to. We are there every week. The staff are really amazing, friendly, helpful and go out of their way to ensure customers are satisfied.

Lovely place. A bit noisy with really young kids running round screaming all the way through our food. Plenty of car parking

This my local, the food is lovely and the staff are very king and welcoming. It a very relaxing and homely place to come to. Also an amazing outdoor beer garden.

Bad experience here, supposed to be a family pub. Took my 18month old here for a little bite to eat and were told by bar staff that people had made complaints about the child being noisy and were rudely asked to calm the child down and move seats. Once food had arrived we were made to feel very uncomfortable and stared at. Will not be returning here as we ended up having to leave a full plate of food due to my wife being made to feel so uncomfortable she was in tears.

Love this place nice food loads of deals and really accommodating…I have a severely autistic boy and he’s always made to feel welcome. Would recommend coming here any night of the week my favourite is Thursday bog off on burgers, but deals run all week long. Thanks again Leanne 👍👍👍

Love our quiz nights at the Brinkburn. Great atmosphere, and lovely, friendly staff. Food is good value, with plenty of choice. Quiz nights on Tuesdays always busy and always a fun night. Lovely place to visit.

Nice place - nice atmosphere. Good deals on food throughout the week. Only let down is the Ladies Toilets - crying out for an upgrade - most of the toilet seats are loose, toilets don't work properly, cubicles are way too small. It feels about 5yrs older than the rest of the pub. Please folks

Lasagne was not heated thoroughly parts were hot and parts warm edible but couldn't say it was the best.

Plenty of TVs to watch the football games. Drinks are a reasonable price.

I had the 2 meals for £11.99, the fish tasted really fresh. Perfect portion for lunch.

Ordered chicken wings asked for them to be extra crispy came out almost raw asked if they could be cooked for a bit longer chef refused. When I complained no one interested. Very poor service. A chef who can’t cook wings should maybe consider doing something else. Very disappointed.

Just popped in after work for a quiet drink and as always it’s bustling, fantastic atmosphere but I just wanted a relaxing beer, the lovely Leanne found me a table all to my own, what a gem she is. Just perfect. I can’t rate the place highly enough all the staff are wonderful.

This was out best visit for a while. Leanne looked after us from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and shown straight to our table. My granddaughter and I ordered the same meals and they arrived quickly even though it was a busy night. The food was perfect and even the onion rings were cooked to perfection. It was lovely company, great food and the most adorable service from Leanne. We shall be back soon.

After a long day it was a welcoming night out for food. Fully loaded chicken strips with chips topped with cheese sauce. A little something different for me this time. Wasn't disappointed either and a nice pot of tea to go with it. Just what I needed.

Went on Tuesday night for the quiz, which is always great fun. The staff are all attentive and friendly but it was especially nice to see Leann back this week. She has been missed.

We go regularly to the brinkburn and the staff are absolutely brilliant so friendly and helpful. The food has always been excellent but today I was very disappointed my mixed grill came minus the sausage and tomato the steak had lots of grizzle and the chips were very sparce. I would be very sad to see this pub loose trade as it is always busy so please don't cut back on portions and make sure we get what it says on the packet.

Food was okay but kids corn on the cob came out cold with no butter and veg rice was like mush so kids wouldn't eat it.

First time in since 2017 and still good, had the mac and cheese and it was lovely.

A friendly pub/restaurant with good value prices although table service was a bit slow on our visit when ordering using their app. Went to watch a football match; there are a number of screens showing different programmes.

The Brinkburn is a charming quaint pub with lots of friendly staff and patrons. We visit here quite frequently for good drinks and good company. The prices are all affordable and they have good food deals. The food itself is quite basic, and though it is at a really good price, it doesn't always taste the best, and availability is often a bit skewed. Its a greene king pub so similar menu to others like it. Not so happy that the desserts menu shrunk but that's just me XD At busy times it can be a bit rowdy and you spend quite a lot of time waiting in line for service, but you can order drinks and food to your table via the mobile app to save the wait. The staff behind the bar have all been friendly and good for a chat while they make your drinks
