Coffee ok usual costa food and service

Called in after getting off the train. Super hot coffee served by pleasant staff. Bit of a queue but dealt with swiftly.

I didn't have any food but always enjoy going to Costa as the staff are always happy and you can share a joke with them

The food is never packaged correctly and always ruined. I'm never able to claim a refund because it's not in line with the service. I'm convinced the drivers and this restaurant have a deal to essentially steal money from their customers. it's completely disgusting. Not only did I not receive any food because the driver took it away and never returned, Just Eat have claimed that's fine and not action can be take. Don't order from here, it is a waste of money as well as time.

Great staff, friendly and make me feel welcome. Best coffee in town, hands down.

Staff are friendly and approachable and helpful... following government guidelines and ppe in place.... clean and tidy.... enjoy take away or sit in... plenty of choices from cold and hot drinks to cake and sandwich and toasties....have seasonal food and offers as well. definitely worth a visit.....

Order has not came! I’ve reached out to the driver multiple times and directed him to where I’m at if he didn’t understand where I was that should not result into me not getting my order!! I want a full refund

Early morning on a Friday, was a bit quiet but pleasant.

The delivery was quick but the only let down was I got delivered 2 ruffians when I ordered one and a lemon tart

The person delivering the order was very polite and respectful

Delivery driver came with wrong order. He was convinced it was mine but told him not. In fairness he did go back to get our order and came back with it.

Can understand mistakes happen, but some items were missing and the driver that delivered had a huge attitude on her which left me feeling quite upset. Was not willing to help due to “weather conditions”

If only I could take my tip back. The delivery didn't even bother to check the delivery notes and almost delivered to the wrong person. When I asked him about it he ignored me.

Driver was prompt, despite the weather being quite terrible outside. They were very kind, and courteous. The food was also lovely, and packaged well also. I appreciate the extra effort taken by this team of individuals to ensure the food was delivered properly. Best wishes,

5,pm sat 23 march .still 1 hour to closing All tables bar 2 have chairs on top of tables .not very good since it's only 5 pm sweeping up around us

This Costa has had ..a face lift..and looks brilliant..bright and vibrant..together with the same smiling faces and friendliness of the first class team ..at your service ..this new look 10star Costa is well worth a visit

You know what you are getting. I don't like the coffee so I had tea, the soya milk is a bit thick ( it's for coffee) , the sandwich was nice.

Took my daughter..as I have a kettle at home I declined anything

I went in for coffee waiting for my son to finish work. This costa was a very dirty place chair's all marked floor filthy

Good friendly service and good coffee and muffins.

Flat white was just like a white coffee, no froth.

Toastie is overcooked, dry and hard. Cheese on the top is burnt and so are the bread edges.

Staff are great me and my better half are here as often as possible could do with less cheese products and more of a variety of sandwiches I recently tried your poached egg and bacon sandwich in redcar that's a winner by my count keep that going

It's a coffee shop, the coffee is 1st class and the food is fine.

What more can I say,great food and drink.

Pleasant, as most Costa’s are. Clean and tidy but staff obviously suffering from Monday Blues.

Going to costa since last 5 years and it's getting worse. New girls in there don't seem to care about costumes. All they do chat to each other and that woman stands next to the desk every day. All staff talks to that woman all day and don't bother for costumes. It's getting annoying when we are trying to get to work on time and our coffee always late. And the shop is not clean enough.

Long queues moving slowly so walked out.

I ordered a bacon and egg bun. When it arrived there was no egg. The bun was hard and the bacon chewy

Brilliant service, amazing drinks only downside is the Barista that day had a grumpy look on her face the other workers were friendly. If your going to go into work grumpy then you shouldn't, there is a saying leave any bad stuff at the door before entering work. Overall a good experience

We didn’t get the food we ordered

Great tasting coffee. I have decaf but like it strong so had an extra shot. Full of flavour with no bitterness

toasty was cold upon arrival , opened up the coffee to find it was only half full .will not be ordering again

Went in to place an order with some friends. Decided to go to the toilet beforehand, came back out and a bauld employee decided instead of serving us to rudely shout at us saying "did you just come in to use the toilet? Well next time ask, it's rude" like we were literally about to order before he shouted at us but got put off by the rudeness.

All good..popped in for breakfast, bacon sarnie and a brew for £2...sat in, was decent. Will deffo go back next week to do it again, may be a new routine, who knows

Tired building with knocked about, paint-chipped furniture. It looked like the floor hadn't had a mop to it in a while. No vegan breakfast bap & 45p surcharge for non-dairy milk. Pretty lousy experience first thing in the day. However, the staff were lovely, so if these things don't bother you, fill your boots.

Ordered 3 drinks, only 2 arrived.. unable to contact store, can only get a refund for that drink meaning one person has missed out. Wouldn’t have thought it would have been super hard to organise 3 drinks.

Called for coffee at Costa Cornmill centre Darlington on 03/06/22, charged £5.60. Only in Darlington for one day, received my credit card statement and found I had been charged £5.60 for 03/06/22, and charged again £5.60 on 04/06/22. Contacted Costa, not interested, said contact my bank.

Food didn’t ever arrive even tho says delivered! Can’t contact them by phone!

Toastie was great quality, aswell as the cooler. The biscoff Rocky Road was amazing!

I been in the coffee Shop this morning 17-05-2022 and l ordered a strawbery Milk Shake and one regular latte! The latte was fine, but the blonde girl she give me this strawbery Tea... And l said to her that this is not what l asked for!!! And she just told me that they haven't got powder for the milkshake anymore! This is not my problem, she should tell me from the beggining, not after! This is not right! Horible staff

Visited with my son this mornkng, food and drinks were lovely. I had the Belgian chocolate frostino and a cheese and tomoto taostie and my son had mac and cheese and bacon taostie. Both very very tasty. Service was fast and staff were helpful and the store was mainly clean and tidy although there were some tables that needed to be cleared and cleaned.

Food was cold otherwise would have given 5☆

I ordered a bacon roll. It was all burnt and rock hard. Along that, i ordered a ham and cheese toastie. That was burnt on one side and like bread on the other side. Disappointed to say the least. On a plus, the coffee was exceptional

My first visit to Costa Coffee on Northgate in Darlington since early 2020. Due to lockdowns, COVID and two moves. I was changing buses in Darlington. So I decided to stop for some lunch and coffee. It wasn't too busy and was served fairly quickly. My Sausage Bap was really tasty. I wished my small Cuppacino was my safe option as I still had buses to catch. I will visit again when I'm next in Darlington. Received a great service thank you.

Went in yesterday 16th December 21 whilst Xmas shopping, lots of people waiting for coffee to be made after making their payment..I thought ok they are busy so was prepared to wait but this give me time to look about ..I left, the place is dirty, very dusty. The more I stood and took in everything I was really shocked so I left.. expecting better from Costa more so as we are still or should be extra cleaning during a pandemic..🙄🙄🙄🙄

Coffee left on counter top while other 1 made. People hanging over cup, talking, taking payment, taking things out of purses. I refused that drink. Items being sold should be kept away from the public on a different counter. Not hygienic at all in this day & age. They should have known better. I will be watching when I buy the next 1.

Always great service from Costa via Justeat

My 5 year old son and I visit each Saturday after swimming lessons, the staff go out of their way to make everyone welcome and interact with all ages. Incredibly high standards when it comes to the coffee, if they’re not happy they pull out all the stops to make up for it. Even my 5 year old commented this morning “those guys are awesome”. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in town, keep up the great work 👍🏻😬

It was a great place to meet up with friends. Staff are, are great & very helpful.

Although toasties were nice, 2 out of 3 of them were only toasted on one side!

Come in quite regularly for a hot chocolate and the new staff member (Antonio I think his name is) makes one of the best hot chocolates there!

The toilets were really dirty,had to change three cup before we got clean one's, won't be going back, shame used to be good

No straw with the Iced coffee so was unable to drink
