Tiger Moth in Medway

Ordered the Carolina Reaper wings, full rack of ribs, and toffee cheesecake. Considered rubbing my eyes after finishing the wings so I could feel something. I’m joking, they were a little sweeter than I expected but chalking that up to flavor. I was feeling it for like 10 minutes and even rolled up my sleeves. Genuinely good and the spiciest wings I’ve had in the UK so far. The bark on the ribs was done well. They were nice and juicy. I would personally prefer a little more sauce or options of different bbq sauces to go with them but I’m just being nitpick-y. They came with corn on the cobb, coleslaw, and fries. I typically am not a coleslaw fan but it was good and needed after those wings to reset my taste. The cheesecake was firm. Maybe would’ve been better with some Carolina Reaper drizzled over it- or I was just too full at this point to enjoy it. Great portions and good vibes. Thank you for the meal.

First time tried here and food was very good. There two selected mains for £15 is excellent value. Service was a bit slow on the day we went, but staff were excellent and very friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Booked a table of 10 to celebrate my birthday. The staff were amazing and all the food came out together as we’d pre ordered. Highly recommend The Tiger Moth for your event or just a meal. Lovely.

Came out for lunch which we hadn’t done for ages. My husband had the mixed grill, which he mentioned to the staff that it was the best mixed grill he had ever had..(he has had loads) and I had the chicken with flatbread. Both meals came out very appetising and the food tasted how it looked. Jody the staff member that served us was extremely helpful and friendly and looked generally happy to help. 💯 will come here again. Well worth your time and money.

Food was lovely. Didn't have the first meal I picked or the wine I ordered. Our server Jody was brilliant and very helpful.

I am one of a group of 8 over 60’s who like to meet once a month for a spot of lunch. we choose the Tiger for the senior food deal and the excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff even when we mess up our ordering but luckily they are very patient with us. The food is quite good and certainly great value.

It was ok ,had a mixed grill ,when it came up ,I didn't like the plate ,half and half ,on a wooden board idea ,felt like the food was crammed on ,and also my onion rings was missing ,had to ask for them ,and by the time they arrived ,I'd eaten most of my dinner

my wife and myself decided to pay a visit on wed 26th feb and we arrived about 1230ish. we were shown to table 26 by a young lady member of staff who was waiting on the tables and from what we could make out there was only her and a man behind the bar who was serving the drinks and taking the food orders. they were both very busy and rushed off their feet. we were told the food wait would be at least an hour but we were in no particular hurry so we did not mind. the food arrived much quicker than antisipated and was absolutely brilliant in taste and quality. we would just like to thank the staff members for remaining friendly and cheerful considering the pressure they were obviously under while dealing with the amount of orders being taken at the time.

Lunch with my Daughter and Granddaughter. Food was exellent and served promptly. My sizzling chicken was lovely and HOT! Both my Daughter and Granddaughter said portions were commendable as was mine. Our server Jody was a real trouper considering she seemed to be the only one serving all the tables. Value for money will explain why the establishment was almost full!!

Absolutely not the experience the 4.2 rating would have suggested. This is a very run down pub and the food was literally mush. When trying to tell the waiter, she made eye contact with me but decided to complete ignore when I tried to politely draw her attention to the poor standard food. When eventually the food was replaced, it was burned to make up for the mush. No apologies, nothing. Some of the other food was ok. Run down place with poor service. Would not recommend.

Carlin was amazing! Her banter was the best! She had a good laugh with us and served and lovely peroni! The pub was also very good!

I went their last night for my birthday, only to discover my booking had been cancelled because they were over booked, I was so annoyed, ruined my night and had to find somewhere else to eat.. Will not be going there again

We had a really lovely lunch here. We was trying to find a dog friendly pub for a quick lunch. We expected to have to sit outside but was pleasantly surprised that they had suitable space and area for dogs so we could enjoy our meal inside. Food was lovely and quick and we was made to feel very welcome.

We had a Christmas Eve / Birthday meal, it was a great atmosphere and the food was very well cooked.worth a visit.

Absolutely loved our 1st visit being my sons bday too, shame football was on thou lol...but overall was lovely, especially Adam who served us behind the bar such a charming man...very helpful! Also a lady who commentad our table cant thank her enough, defo will be back! Definitely try the mac and cheese yummy!

Warm and welcoming great food and hospitality value for money easy parking

Popped in Saturday for lunch with friends and were very impressed with the place. Jody our waitress was very friendly so was the bar man. The food was fantastic, cooked perfectly and lot's of it. We will definitely be going again and recommend it to people. There's also a big carpark

5th time visiting this pub for food and drinks and I have to say the staff and management there are lovely. Always so helpful and alternative to their customers needs and requirements. The food was outstanding and arrived within a timely fashion despite being busy. Will visit again forsure.

We came here today to try it out for lunch after we got a gift card to use in Greene king pubs. First impressions is it is in a very good location with a big car park which is free for customers. Just don’t forget to put your reg in the tablet at the front door. We found a table right away and went to order drinks. We got the flaming bbq meat sharer for £24.99. It came with chips, mac n cheese, pork ribs, slow cooked beef on the bone, corn on the cob, onions rings, coleslaw and beans. This is absolutely worth the money for two people. We struggled to eat it and left some as it was so much food. The front entrance could really do with a revamp though. The wooden door frames are all rotting away and it could do with a lick of paint. I think this would really make a difference and make it a lot more appealing. The two members of staff working today were fantastic the gentleman working has great customer service and the lady also gave us a smile and said thank you as we left. It’s dog friendly with a nice size beer garden out the front. The customer service here is one of the best of all the Greene king pubs I’ve visited over the years and I’ve been to a lot. Absolutely worth a visit as the food is really good value for money. Will definitely be back again soon.

My visit was lovely. The staff was friendly the food was absolutely beautiful. Me and my girls felt very relaxed we all enjoyed our time there. I will 100% be returning very soon. Booked a table for 5:45 New Year’s Eve, qued up at the bar to book in, was told to find table 4 (which was a draughty table by the door) and to get our order placed within 5 mins, we found our table and sat down. Then another staff member shouted over the bar “have you reserved that table”? I said yes then he said “well you better order in 5 minutes coz we ain’t takin orders after that” I ended up going elsewhere because I didn’t fancy giving my money to a pub that doesn’t value their customers, I take customer service seriously after being in a public facing job for over 10 years. If you do t want people ordering after a certain time then don’t let me make a food booking and waste petrol getting to you! Won’t be going to you again there’s plenty of better places to eat at

Didn’t eat food but looked nice pub was lovely and staff too!

I had booked for a table of 9, arrived to find only table for 8 set so had to squeeze in on the end. upon booking I had selected Xmas menu as this was our staff Xmas do. again upon arrival I was informed I should of rang them to confirm this and pre-ordered. No where does it say anything I have to phone to confirm Xmas dinner and pre-order. so no Xmas menu was available. Ordered from normal menu to be told it was up to an hour wait. After 55 mins a lady come over to apologise it would still be another half hour. the food was ok when we eventually got it.

Here’s a polished review you can use: Fantastic Experience! We visited this pub and enjoyed a sharing platter, which was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and really hit the spot. Despite the pub being extremely busy, the staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food arrived hot and impressively quickly, which added to the overall great experience. Highly recommend for both the quality of the food and the excellent. We were served by Jody.

Really disappointing experience, slow service (but not the wait staffs fault), drinks not full in small glasses as well as large. Black halloumi fries (we did get a refund but whether that materialises or not it another thing... looking at you Greene King Nags head Derby...).

Great vibrant pub, we hadn't booked a table but they were able to fit us in, which was really good. Service was quick and efficient, didn't wait long to be served or get our food, which was lovely & piping hot, and very tasty.

More of a pub feel then restaurant food was not up to standards wrong dish came out twice and chips were cold and over cooked and onion rings were store brought

We had the Festive 2 course lunch. Christmas Dinner and a desert, the food was really nice and lots of it. Service was 1st class thanks to Jody, nothing was too much trouble a lovely polite lady. Very enjoyable.

Great welcoming feel when I went in, few christmas dinners going on it seemed which added to a great atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and accomodating as usual, they are particularly great when I go in with my puppy. Had a burger on the buy one get one free deal, which was tasty and great value. Stayed for a few hours watching the sport and all in all a great experience, it is no suprise the place is often busy!

Came here for a birthday treat after getting a gift card to spend here what can I say the food was excellent and the service was great can't say more than that excellent

Our first visit and will not be returning. The lady behind the bar was unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. The food was overcooked. The lady delivering the food was very nice though. The general appearance of the area we were asked to sit in was shabby with wallpaper hanging off the wall .

This pub is our “go to” pub, even though it’s not our local!! We tend to visit at least once a week, we have no set day but it’s usually after work for dinner. We have NEVER had a bad experience and over the years, we have got to know the staff pretty well. They work under enormous pressure most of the time, the pub is very busy, but they are calm and extremely friendly. We don’t know all of them by name, but Adam, Aly, Caitlin and Jay are exceptional. The food and portions provided represent good value for money and the atmosphere is spot on. The Tiger Moth is a proper pub and caters for every type of person. Sometimes it’s loud, but we’re happy with loud…it means that people are enjoying themselves and that’s what we go to the pub for, to eat, wind down and enjoy the time spent there.

Pre booked there festive menu definitely not disappointed food was piping hot Turkey was moist and plenty of it roasties were good and plenty of veg service was very attentive and friendly Jodie the waitress was very polite opps forget name of barman sorry definitely recommend thanks for a lovely lunch

My first ever visit and I’ll guarantee it won’t be my last, it was exceptional. I don’t normally use that word exceptional when it comes to eating out, but I have to in this case. As soon I walked in, I thought to myself “this is going to be really good” and so it proved & then some. A special mention to Jody, who made me feel very welcome, a wonderful waitress, pass on my utmost thanks to her. All in all, an awesome place to eat.

I haven't been to The Tiger Moth for years and wow what a change inside and out, stopped off as we were passing to have a Sunday lunch (recommend you book for Sunday lunch), lovely staff and quick service, nice atmosphere, going to be our regular now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the first time we'd been to this pub, despite it not being far from where my friend lives. Booking a table on line was easy, which helped, with an instant confirmation. There was ample car parking, but, because it's also a public car park, it was necessary to log the car's registration in order to avoid having to pay. This was on a tablet just inside the door, but it wasn't the most intuitive device I've ever used. We were welcomed as we entered, and shown to our table. We could have ordered by downloading the pub's app, but preferred to order at the bar, where service was again friendly and helpful. We had the steak and ale pie, which was excellent, but had no room for desserts. The food came quickly, and the three staff we met were really friendly, happy and helpful. We'll be going again.

We visited the Tiger moth this afternoon for lunch, service with a smile by Joyce, 2 Classic meals for under £14, 👌I had the steak & Ale pie, mash peas gravy, and my partner had Hunters chicken peas, both meals were piping hot & very tasty, we would definitely recommend coming here…and we shall return very soon, well done to all the staff 👍🍺

Went to this pub with friends. All ordered food using the app which was easy to use, drinks came straight away from a friendly member of staff. Food wasn't too much longer. Chicken burgers were lovely and tasty. Ordered drinks again on the app and waited around 15mins and asked a member of staff she checked where they was and the ticket hadn't been received, she was really apologetic and drinks then came straight away and again a really apologetic member of staff brought them over. We had a lovely eve made even better by smiley friendly staff which makes such a difference to an establishment. Thank you 😊

We are Always met by someone with a huge welcoming smile. Never had any problems with either our meals or service. Our latest booking was yesterday 27th September 2024 for a birthday meal for my Husband and the Husband of very good friends and when I asked for desserts with candles if possible - because they didn't have any, they wrote Happy Birthday on the plates instead.. which was a lovely touch. They do go out of their way to make sure your visit is as good as possible. Definitely recommend this pub but more importantly, definitely recommend the Staff in this pub. Thank you to you all. Spur of the moment visit a hidden gem hot sauce was hot which made a nice change hotter the better for me had gammon was cooked nice with onions was lovely and the wife enjoyed her Halloumi fries and Fish and chips will come again thanks service was great used Green King app from the table top notch 👍

Was welcomed as we walked through the pub was given choices of available tables . Ordered food and drink . On the app. Food arrived in good time . Food was loverly . 3 course meal starters. Had a great time at the Tigermoth with friends great service from Alison, Jay and Caitlin staff here always make you feel welcome. Food was hot and tasty Thank you to the chefs Liam, Kirk and Byron. The whole team really knows how to make you feel welcome. The quiz night was on but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. We were informed as soon as we arrived. The establishment could use some improvements to create a more pleasant dining environment. It would be beneficial to consider soundproofing the area to reduce the noise from the adjacent pub, especially in the evenings when there are a lot of patrons, some of whom use profanity. This could significantly enhance the overall dining experience for customers looking for a peaceful and enjoyable meal. And what about the half glass of Coke I wanted half I would have asked for it..!

Very good social distancing in place. Very clean. Looks like it has had a deep clean as I have not been in since covid. Staff very friendly. Food delicious. No complaints. Been in many times since and always had a delicious meal. Staff are excellent

Ordered and paid for 3 meals only to be told that the beef rib had ran out which was the main element of the meat sharer. I was happy to substitute it full a full rack of ribs instead of a half rack but was told it could not be done because it would ‘mess with the stock levels’. At this point I asked for a refund on all 3 meals which was given, although I still find it hard to believe any business would send 3 customers out the door rather than substitute an item (for one of lesser value) especially as it was their mistake and the customer had already paid. I would suggest whoever was worried about the stock levels should be more worried about their lack business acumen and poor customer service.

We came for a family birthday meal we was a big party and Caitin and saffron we amazing very friendly and welcoming was a lovely experience, the food we ordered was also lovely to we will be back

Excellent food and plenty of it. Great value for money. Staff have always been very nice and extremely welcoming. What always lets this pub down is the appalling language that comes from the bar area. I feel it should either be a pub or a restaurant but definitely not both or section the bar and restaurant areas off. Was not pleasant!!
