Tiger Moth in Medway

Went here yesterday with my son and had the nicest food. Staff were super friendly. Food came out promptly. The rack of ribs were huge and fell off the bone, chips were light and crunchy. It was yummy x

We visited the Tiger moth this afternoon for lunch, service with a smile by Joyce, 2 Classic meals for under £14, 👌I had the steak & Ale pie, mash peas gravy, and my partner had Hunters chicken peas, both meals were piping hot & very tasty, we would definitely recommend coming here…and we shall return very soon, well done to all the staff 👍🍺

Went to this pub with friends. All ordered food using the app which was easy to use, drinks came straight away from a friendly member of staff. Food wasn't too much longer. Chicken burgers were lovely and tasty. Ordered drinks again on the app and waited around 15mins and asked a member of staff she checked where they was and the ticket hadn't been received, she was really apologetic and drinks then came straight away and again a really apologetic member of staff brought them over. We had a lovely eve made even better by smiley friendly staff which makes such a difference to an establishment. Thank you 😊

We are Always met by someone with a huge welcoming smile. Never had any problems with either our meals or service. Our latest booking was yesterday 27th September 2024 for a birthday meal for my Husband and the Husband of very good friends and when I asked for desserts with candles if possible - because they didn't have any, they wrote Happy Birthday on the plates instead.. which was a lovely touch. They do go out of their way to make sure your visit is as good as possible. Definitely recommend this pub but more importantly, definitely recommend the Staff in this pub. Thank you to you all. Spur of the moment visit a hidden gem hot sauce was hot which made a nice change hotter the better for me had gammon was cooked nice with onions was lovely and the wife enjoyed her Halloumi fries and Fish and chips will come again thanks service was great used Green King app from the table top notch 👍

Was welcomed as we walked through the pub was given choices of available tables . Ordered food and drink . On the app. Food arrived in good time . Food was loverly . 3 course meal starters. Mains and Puddings were all nice. And good price as the pub was offering some good deals. Would defo recommend and come back again . Car parking is also beneficial

Had a great time at the Tigermoth with friends great service from Alison, Jay and Caitlin staff here always make you feel welcome. Food was hot and tasty Thank you to the chefs Liam, Kirk and Byron. The whole team really knows how to make you feel welcome. The quiz night was on but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. We were informed as soon as we arrived. Thank you for the lovely service.

The establishment could use some improvements to create a more pleasant dining environment. It would be beneficial to consider soundproofing the area to reduce the noise from the adjacent pub, especially in the evenings when there are a lot of patrons, some of whom use profanity. This could significantly enhance the overall dining experience for customers looking for a peaceful and enjoyable meal. And what about the half glass of Coke I wanted half I would have asked for it..!

Very good social distancing in place. Very clean. Looks like it has had a deep clean as I have not been in since covid. Staff very friendly. Food delicious. No complaints. Been in many times since and always had a delicious meal. Staff are excellent

Ordered and paid for 3 meals only to be told that the beef rib had ran out which was the main element of the meat sharer. I was happy to substitute it full a full rack of ribs instead of a half rack but was told it could not be done because it would ‘mess with the stock levels’. At this point I asked for a refund on all 3 meals which was given, although I still find it hard to believe any business would send 3 customers out the door rather than substitute an item (for one of lesser value) especially as it was their mistake and the customer had already paid. I would suggest whoever was worried about the stock levels should be more worried about their lack business acumen and poor customer service.

We came for a family birthday meal we was a big party and Caitin and saffron we amazing very friendly and welcoming was a lovely experience, the food we ordered was also lovely to we will be back

Food was damn good and fry portions were good for each person would reccomend coming down with the family one evening too enjoy a damn good meal

Not sure what people in Chatham are used too but it’s a sh*t hole. Run out of drink, service crap & interesting clientele!

Brilliant people that work at this pub, shame they are understaffed all the time, they work their socks off to deliver every day, what a team, great food and great service from them all!

Excellent food and plenty of it. Great value for money. Staff have always been very nice and extremely welcoming. What always lets this pub down is the appalling language that comes from the bar area. I feel it should either be a pub or a restaurant but definitely not both or section the bar and restaurant areas off. Was not pleasant!!

Yesterday had a wonderful meal with my family, the food is amazing, and the staff are outstanding and very helpful. I highly recommend the ribs, full rack of cause the meat just falls off.😋. Didn’t book and they managed to find us a table for five of us. Which we had a brilliant afternoon. Thank you to the staff at the tiger moth. Carry on with the good work 👍

I turned up very late, but everyone was more than happy to accommodate me. I'm a Service Engineer, and have to stay overnight to complete a job. I ordered a couple of drinks and a meal, and sat down to enjoy the break. The Starter arrived, and it was exactly what I needed. Chicken wings in a Carolina Sauce are not for the faint hearted, but they hit the spot. It was good to see them on the menu, but also good to see that they weren't a faint imitation of a very hot sauce. This was followed by a Medium rare Steak that was absolutely as it should be. It came with just the right number of extras. All staff members were extremely friendly and polite. I was asked a couple of times if there was anything else that I needed. I don't stay over in Maidstone very often, but I'll be making sure that I pop over in the evenings when I do. Many thanks to everyone in the kitchen, and behind the bar for making the end of a very long day so enjoyable.

Just popped in for a bit of lunch with a date, service from Jodie and Saff was great, really lovely and prompt food. Pub environment very clean, well-maintained, and food was really nice! She had a steak flatbread, chips and halloumi fries, I had the kofta flatbread and we shared the sides! A really great afternoon was spent, great service, great food, and we both had a lovely time and will be back!

Me and my partner came on a Sunday pub was very busy, we ordered our food, we didn't wait long I had the roast, one of the best roasts I've had in a long time, staff we're really friendly and polite would recommend this place. Jodie was very polite and welcoming she's a absolute joy for your team

If you like a chavvy, dirty environment then Tiger Moth is your place. Needs a good old clean, thick dust next to your cutlery, sticky tables and glasses. Toilets are fifty. Chicken steaks was so dry they were rock hard. Drinks are only 3/4 full when they arrive.

We were served by Jody-Anne. She was brilliant with both kids making sure they had everything they needed. She is super friendly and very welcoming.

I've come to Chatham for work and found here just up from my hotel. Food is fantastic, Caitlin and her other colleagues are brilliant, been in the last 4 nights, no matter how busy they take their time for you to ensure everything is good. They do not stop working always doing something. It's a pleasure coming here.

What a disappointment. Ordered food on the new app for table service in a group. Food took a good while to come out. After nearly an hour of waiting for mine and everyone else in our group had eaten I went to the bar to query what was going on. I had an instant notification of payment through PayPal, but no receipt from greenking. The first girl didn't know what to do, and called another over. To be told there was nothing they could do. All I could do is reorder with a 40 minutes wait on food. So I have paid via PayPal for nothing, and all I got was im sorry which wasn't really genuine. Ruined a nice meal out with friends.

Great taste, good amount and lovely service.

Upon arrival with work, having not rung ahead, the staff were very politely accommodating and gave us the option. Instead of ordering individual meals, we would order some platters and some sides to share among all the colleagues. We ordered early on ready for the chef to start upon arrival. It was all delivered within 40 mins and lots of staff commented on the tastiness. (13 platters, 10 bowls of chips, 6 portions of garlic bread, hunters chicken for gluten free, a halloumi flatbread and a beyond burger) Thank you to all the staff for squeezing all of us in. We will try and ring in advance next time 😊

Great deals on a varied menu at really good prices. Well cooked and served very hot by friendly staff. We were asked during meal if everything OK and it was. Nice selection of gins but no aromatic tonic.

Popped here today for some dinner wish we hadn't wasted the trip on arrival told no wait then told 1/2 hr wait for food which is it.... food was much to be desired got the ultimate sharer for starters chicken wings fried with no sauce or flavour at all. Garlic bread may aswell of been dried bread for the lack of garlic. Nachos were ok and so were chicken strips all tho the thinnest strips I've ever seen. For mains I had an XL mixed grill with a supposed large portion of chips lol laughable cheeky kitchen placed my Diane sauce that was extra on my plate where my extra chips should of been pics show it all. Chicken fillet don't blink to fast. Steak and sausage were inedible. The gammon was ok. Mrs had chicken n rib combo again chicken fried which is easy to tell how hot it is the Crispy skin and the OIL taste gives it away no flavour on the chicken again which also was not eaten ribs were ok the corn god knows what was put on it but not pleasant all in all we won't be returning not to mention the dated chairs thread bare carpet. The massive point made as if we were going to be kicked out before finishing our meals as no kids after 9 staff also trying to tell us chicken was not fried lol...... ok

Considering not many customers, a day when no draught beers were on tap, small bottle of peroni over £5, waiting time for meals was extremely slow. Bloke serving quite rude, most disappointing.

We started coming to the Tiged Moth over a year ago as a table of 6 for the quiz on a Thursday night. Always enjoyed the food and atmosphere and able to book no problem. However, recently we haven't been able to book a table for the quiz, as we we're told no bookings more than a month in advance and use Facebook to do so. Did this for this month and got confirmation that we had a booking. Yesterday we got a call cancelling our table of 6 as there's only 1 table of 6 and the "same group always have it and we don't want to annoy them". After a lot of complaining they managed to fit us in. After the quiz tonight we asked again about booking in only to be told that because the regular table spends more money than us they Will always get the table. We were also told we weren't the only group that were annoyed about this!! So we Will no longer be giving the TM our business, as its clear they prioritise profit over service!

Went in today with my party of residents for lunch. We was served by jodyanne. She was so helpful and patient and made sure my residents (some in wheelchairs) where comftable with enough space. She couldn't do enough for us and it made the occasion an easier experience for all. We shall definitely be returning and we hope to see jody again. Her customer approach was fantastic and nothing was too much, thank you

My family and I have dined here many, many times over the years, we keep coming back because the food is very good and the service has always been great. Although the staff have changed over time, the friendliness and excellent service has remained consistent. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team and they work very hard to ensure we always have an enjoyable experience. The food is always good, the quality is high and all for exceptionally reasonable prices. We will continue to enjoy eating at The Tiger Moth for many more years to come.

Although the venue is a little tired the food is always scrummy, hot and plentiful and all of the staff are always genuinely happy, smiley and friendly. It's become our go to...
