Terrible customer service!! Avoid!

Popped for Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious!! However, we were seated in the dining room with a large, noisy family party so it made conversation difficult. In hindsight we should have asked to move but we'll definitely go again as the meal was outstanding. Lovely service too.

Great food, efficient, pleasant, professional staff.

My 1st visit to the Tiger Inn, the sunday roast was very nice indeed, food was fresh and tasty i will certainly be going again..

The Tiger Inn is a bit of the Beaten Track away from the centre of Beverley. It is definitely worth checking out. There is an excellent selection of draught drinks, including hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones I had were in excellent condition. It's a nice cosy traditional multi-room pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is a nice outside seating area.

Popped in for a pint, and was lovely. Excellent pub. However, a packed bar with limited seating and a restraint area empty unable to be used by patrons was a tad odd...

Called in for a drink with my son and his dog and this is a nice pub.

Starter of King prawns in a cheese sauce with breadcrumbs was dry nice also a duck salad which was a bit disappointing hardly any duck just tiny slithers. Mains real scampi was nice, and a double burger was okay.

I’m miffed. Lovely looking pub but in the drinking side it only had tall seats (which were mostly unoccupied). My wife can’t do tall tables (short legs and bad arthritis), and I can’t do tall tables (back trouble). We asked for a normal table but it was ‘shrugged shoulders’ and indifference. Not even a “let’s see what we can do”. I know from experience this paints a picture of the overall operation. Shame, it looked lovely.

Met friends for a pre Christmas meal. The tiger is a very traditional pub and we sat in the snug so only saw this bit. Menu is small but presumably so they produce top quality food as our 3 meals were amazing. Staff were friendly and plenty of them meant we were never waiting for long for drinks and orders. The fish was white, flakey and very fresh The pork and black pudding sausages on champ were first class and the homemade beef pie looked like it could have fed 2! Will visit again, thank you

They did really well with quite a large group of men. The service was well organised and very helpful and pleasant. The food was OK and given the size of the group quite sufficient. The meal choice below was a Christmas lunch. The pate was really nice especially with the sourdough toast.

Can't believe my wife and I have just been turned away from the Tiger Inn at 9.15 on a Saturday night. How is that good for business. Will have to go elsewhere in the future.

Great little, locals boozer with great food. Portion sizes are big so be careful if you have a starter. Great value for money, the landlady(Dotty) is lovely, and allows dogs too. Proper pub with great locals.

We visited last weekend and had our 2 dogs with us .The manager / landlord / owner was just lovely who took our food order .He was so helpful.Nothing was too much for him and he clearly loved dogs .He even said seeing our two had cheered him up andade a fuss of them .The food was superb .My wife loved the ploughman's and my. Steak sandwich was excellent !What an absolute gem of a place .The young lady who took our beer order and the young man who brought our food were great too . Just go guys ,it's not expensive and the food and service was excellent ! Can't recommend enough !

I had the speciality sausage and mash and thought it was only ok My wife enjoyed the beef pie You should ignore the Tiger Inn website menu as the actual prices are higher than it suggests This is a nice pub and the staff are friendly

Lovely outdoor area that was perfect for.us with the dog. Meeting up with friends we hadn't seen for ages meant there was lots of chatting to be done, but at no point did we feel hassled or rushed- just comfortable. The food was really lovely and the service was welcoming and attentive. Lovely place.

Hired the "room" for a wake. Nice and intimate with space (covered) at the rear. Food very good, however due to there being one member of staff upon entry there was a que of some forty people into Lairgate.

Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely service, Although no extra gravy for the steak pies, so a bit dry with all the pastry...to be honest overpriced mediocre food nothing special. I don't think I would eat there again, shame as staff and locals all friendly

Nice food and a nice place, but we went as a large group and this seemed to overwhelm them. Food came out at different times and some of our group had virtually finished before others had started theirs. However, if you go in a smaller party the food and surroundings are well worth the visit.

Pleasantly surprised by this place, we ended up going 3 times last month. The food was great, pie is delicious with a great ale flavour. An outdoor area alongside the carpark where the kids can roam a bit; doesn't look particularly charming from the outside but once seated there, it's good. Nice kids menu. Couldn't fault the service.

Truly Amazing Food - Nothing More to say

We went for a meal at this pub today, 10/08/2024, and both mine and my hubby's meals were absolutely gorgeous. The staff were lovely, and there was good music playing which caused a lovely atmosphere.

Popped in a a quick drink and ended up eating. Good selection of beers, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. We had the Welsh rarebit with blue cheese, which was lovely Would definitely pop in again

Disappointed they took off the gf lasagna so they did me a gf fish and chips.but fish and chips upsets my tummy because I have a haitus hernia

I want to thank the Tiger Inn staff for their understanding of my Lsctose intolerance. It is the first restaurant meal in a long time that was completely free of dairy. A lovely turkey roast dinner I enjoyed eating with the bonus of feeling totally well afterwards and no discomfort. Until you have an intolerance you have no understanding. This place is amazing, thank you

Food is always excellent and the staff are always friendly and on hand to make this a great experience. If its pub grub you are looking for I don't belive you will fins any better than the Tiger Inn in the Beverley area.

Eating in is very much nicer than eating out in the car park

Damn damn damn … I really didn’t want to leave this place a less-than-great review but …. maybe get the waiting staff to ASK if diners WANT their food to have extra seasoning? The chips came with a ton of rock salt already on them plus the strong mustard dressing already on the salad when the dish arrived, I couldn’t taste my actual meal! For someone who doesn’t put condiments on their food, it would have been nice to have been given the option of these, seeing as they were not stated on the menu. Do you want your chips salted or unsalted? Would you like dressing on your salad? Two simple questions would’ve have made this a perfect dining experience. Sorry guys.

Lovely little pub for food, we booked to try for the first time and wasn't disappointed. The service was fantastic and food very tasty and well presented. They cater for vegan and vegetarians too. Couldn't fault it in any way. Will visit again. Thank you for a great experience.

Short review. On reflection, this pub is worth a visit for eating. The food is above the average. Beer is fine too. A bit off the centre but worth the stroll

I don't know what's changed but that's the best food I've had from Tiger in a long time. 😍 All the staff are super friendly and talkative and the atmosphere is perfect especially in the outdoor area on a warm day. Just perfect 😊

A true hidden gem in a Beverley back street. An amazing pub with period features, fine local ales and a Sunday lunch to kill for! This is a must try for all the Sunday lunchers out there if you like a roast you didn't have to cook this is the place for you. The rest of the menu is really delicious and well thought out and the staff and service is some of the best we've had in a local eatery.

Some of the best food we've had in Beverley. Not been in here for over a decade, the bar seating was a little worn and the Cask selection was just one (it's Easter Bank Holidays, surely you'd have more selection on?) However, when we ordered our posh fish finger sarnies, we were blown away. Perfect chips, hand Battered fish on fresh bread. It was absolutely spot on and for £8.50, a bloody bargain. Will definitely be back again.

What can I say,we stopped off as we fancied home tradition food on Tuesday 26th March lunchtime. We walked in the staff were so welcoming. We ordered our food,had to wait a bit but you expect that when its cooked fresh. Wow we were impressed,good portions ,well presented and good size portions. Definitely will be back.

Well..if I needed to, I could sum the Sunday lunch here with one word.. "Spectacular"! But that would be a shame.. so let me tell you.. this is easily the best Sunday lunch I've had for as long as I remember.. the quality of the produce was outstanding..and the team in the kitchen certainly knows what to do with them! Everything was absolutely delicious! But that's not the whole picture.. the atmosphere at the Tiger is really lovely..very friendly warm and welcoming.. a nice buzz about the place.. no dusty library Sunday dinner here! The waiting staff were particularly good.. especially Ben, who cleared our table.. and Theo for his cheeky disposition! I can safely say this is my new favourite place for Sunday lunch, and we will definitely be back!

Great place for a drink and dog friendly. Food is rather good as well. Some people were worried when the old landlord left but they needn't have as it's still a great place to eat and drink.

Sunday lunch while on a short break, found the tiger Inn while wandering around beverley, absolutely superb food the place has a really good vibe , thanks to zoe our waitress for looking after us.

The Tiger is our local. It was a bit shaky during it's change of ownership. Goodness have they smashed it!!! Sunday lunch yesterday, absolutely outstanding. A little mix up over table orders... But I'd forgive those hard working staff anything. The place was packed and from what I could see, they could have filled it twice over with people dropping in trying to get a table. The food was beautiful, the staff bend over backwards to please. The value for money is amazing too. High praise, but totally deserved 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Afternoon family gathering after attending a funeral. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. The buffet was excellent home cooked food, great selection. Very friendly efficient service. Would highly recommend the Tiger Inn.

The Sunday lunch was very good, but was disappointed that they have stopped doing smaller portions for elderly people, so my Mum could not finish her meal. The seating area was very cramped with tables so close to each other and additional seating at some tables making seating and movement difficult.

Four of us had a meal three course . All of us enjoyed our meals . Good service.

Really good Sunday lunch. Meat cooked well, vegetables served separately and cooked to perfection. Decent Yorkshire and the roasties were crispy too. It was just over £60 for 3 adults and two kids, plus soft drinks all round, so very happy with that.

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime and it was busy which is testament to how good the food was. Glad we booked a table. They accommodated us in the snug which is lovely and cozy. Took my parents out for some quality time so we enjoyed 3 courses each over a nice couple of hours. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and we never felt rushed. We all enjoyed everything we tried, highly recommend the mackerel parfait it was delicious. The Eton mess was also really well balanced with the tang of the blackberries countering the sweetness of the meringue. Will definitely be returning soon 😁

The food was cooked very nicely ,and tasted good,although I couldn't see any difference between a medium and large,The place was full and the atmosphere was excellent, the only I could fault was that the vegetables were a little bit too al dented for me

What a fantastic experience, from booking our table to paying our bill. The team made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was electric. The pub was very busy, but the service still remained at a high level. The food was delicious. We had the Sunday roast and mum the vegan pie. I also had the apple crumble and custard, and it was delicious. It was all good value for money. We loved it, and it's our new favourite. we will be back again and highly recommend. The next stop is their breakfast at Cornerhouse

Had a meal here tonight with friends. Everything was fantastic, great food, service and a lovely atmosphere. Portion sizes were great and I think great value for money. We all enjoyed our meals and desserts. Would definitely recommend. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The manager turned us away for the 3rd time as she had 2 parties in and was very rude and shouted at me we have been regulars there we go in 2 or 3 times a week we are always polite and left a tip we have never had to book to sit outside the website does not work so have to ring them I only asked for a menu and got shouted at book she said some times the food is OK sometimes not won't be going back to be shouted at does not hurt to be polite and kind always my wife went away very upset hope you are happy with your self

All round a great pub, beautiful building inside and out. We the service was brilliant the staff do an excellent job making you feel welcome. The food was also very good. Especially dessert! My only critique was the vegan pie pastry was a bit too thick/tough and the gravy was a bit too rich for my liking. Another vegan on our table of 9 said the same about theirs, but I didn't think it worth marking down because everyone else dishes were superb and we still scoffed as much as we could! Big portions. The garden area was really nice to have a drink in too. Would visit again!
