Delicious food, lovely friendly staff 😋

Coffee tepid. Charge extra for decaff which is flavourless. Ordered a coffee, rinsed me for a large instead of a regular yet server never asked if I wanted a large. Cakes underwhelming and of mediocre quality. Charged over £18 for 2 tarts and a regular and large coffee. I don't pay that in London or the French Riviera for superior quality goods, service and environment.

Good coffee. But the tea cake was overdone.

A worker by the name of Harry chambers started to drink my leftover milk as soon as I left. I left my coat inside so I returned to collect it and caught him drinking my milk I was extremely concerned

Called in here for a tea and a cake whilst doing a walk in the area - the weather was a bit dull but Ok to be able to sit outside - orders taken at the table and delivered to the table Absolutely gorgeous tasting cake Great service Small inside so would suggest sitting outside if you can Small group of 3 but were able to pay separately

Went here for pancake day to have some pancakes. Lots of choice on the menu. I had bacon and maple syrup. Delicious pancakes although I thought it was a little expensive. Pancake stack plus the added bacon. The staff could of been a little bit friendly but maybe because it was busy Nice location overlooking the sea, can get very busy when it's sunny and nice weather

Really enjoyed a recent visit. We got a table on the terrace overlooking the sea on a cold but sunny day. They provide blankets and there are heaters on the top terrace area so lovely to enjoy the outside and the panoramic views of the sea. The large bacon roll was packed with bacon and the mushrooms on toast plentiful along with proper loose early grey tea - all delicious. Fantastic service from a lovely well organised, friendly and helpful team. I left them a huge tip because it was so good. We felt it was definitely value for money. Level access for those who can't access the few steps at the front. The small downside is that they don't take bookings which when you're not able bodied is tricky as there are more limited options. And the parking out the front ruined by the Council but not Tiffin's fault of course !

Had a takeaway Caramel Latte here (small) and charged £4.55 on my card seems absolutely extortionate to me! Never to return

Came here on a Sunday afternoon after being turned away at a couple of other cafes that were too busy and we’re pleased it turned out that way because the service, food and tea were all excellent. Staff were super friendly and the full breakfast bap was delicious.

My wife and I drop into this establishment often, and we normally find the staff very welcoming and the food to be excellent. The café is normally very well supported and the owners do everything right. Unfortunately today (31.01.25) they (or their waitress to be exact) dropped the ball big time!! The 3 tables outside and undercover were being used, as all the other tables and chairs on the terrace were still very wet from overnight rain, we asked the waitress to wipe the chairs over so we could sit on dry seats, her reaction to our request wasn't the best, but she fetched a Jay cloth and wiped the table first, making a dry cloth very wet, then skimmed over both chairs leaving them just as wet! My wife then asked her for a fresh cloth so the seats could be wiped and dried properly so we could sit, she didn’t look too pleased, turned and went inside the café and left us standing for a good few minutes without any explanation or returning. After being left standing waiting for far too long we left, disappointed and took our business to Scarlets near the pier and enjoyed good service and a good breakfast. My poor service score rating reflect today's visit ONLY, we have however enjoyed many previous visits! We haven't seen this waitress before, and are left wondering if she is new to the business.....

We have been here once or twice a year for last 10 years and it's a safe bet for nice coffee and simple food. My wife wanted an egg, cooked all the way through, no liquid yolk as she has a compromised immune system with chemo. The waitress when informed of this said they couldn't do this and shut the conversation down without checking in with the chef. So disappointed. She had the mushrooms on toast which was lovely hence 3 stars.

Aw, it's a lovely place to have lunch. Food is great and service quick. The place is just a little bit small. I didn't see the toilet, but it was well signposted. It's definitely worth it to visit.

I visit the place after a long mountain exploration! It was full of people, but the staff found me a small table for one! They were lovely and the scones fantastic!

Had coffee walnut cake that had to much coffee in it was so strong the teapot was chipped on the spout and it cost £16.00 for 2 cakes and a pot of tea should of had the cream tea cause it would of been cheaper

Always a favourite of ours when visiting Clevedon. They even did a special poached eggs and smoked salmon for us.

The best breakfast/brunch and great service.

Beautifully situated between the marine lake and the pier, Tiffin offers incredible customer service and a range of fair-portioned food and drink all for a fair price too. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, and the whole staff seemed to cope fantastically with the business that comes with a sunny day in the school holidays.

No where to leave a bike and the staff will just ignore you when you're waiting to be seated

On a school trip with 10 adults who needed a caffeine boost, having a takeaway was no trouble for this great place with brilliant staff.

When ever we go for a walk along the prom we always go to this café. They do they most amazing Gluten free cakes. Staff are friendly, and welcoming.

In stark contrast to another cafe up the road, we (cyclists) felt welcome and were served the most delicious breakfasts, at after 11am on a Sunday. Americano coffee was good. The (meaty) breakfast bap was generously sized, had crispy bacon and well-cooked mushrooms. My mates said the avocado based breakfasts were lovely too. Very glad we were made to move on from our original choice of cafe and came here!

My wife and I visited on a Monday. She had the smoked mackerel pate and I had the ploughman's. Both were excellent. The staff were really good - a good mix of young and more mature who all seemed to work well together as a team. We were served by the girl with reddish hair who was polite, efficient and suitably attentive despite how busy they were when we first arrived (thanks and well done).

No disclaimer about the long wait for ice cream. The delay is because they’re making the ice cream “instagrammable” instead of just serving. To be clear, the queue is because it’s takes 15mins to assemble the food.

We had a lovely Breakfast Bap, here yesterday, the staff were very helpful and friendly, It was a nice relaxing atmosphere sitting out in the sun. Hope to come here again on our next visit. Thank You.

Asked to have a meal with cooked smoked salmon as I am pregnant and the manager refused because we don't "cook" smoked salmon. But if it's my choice to cook smoked salmon to avoid any risk for my unborn child why deny it? It's not like pregnant women can decide which food aversion they get and what their body will accept on that day...very disappointing and inconsiderate of your customer.

Staff were lovely and opened one of the beach huts for us to sit in. The scones were mouth-watering. We loved it, but Molly the dog was a bit disappointed she couldn't get on the beach because of the seaweed, but made up for it with the scones. Jam first. Lol

Visited today 15-04-2024 for brunch. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful views of the pier. A shame the sun didn’t stay out for long. This little cafe was buzzing but no delays on service or food coming out. B.O.H: Eggs royale & pancakes were tasty. We always stop off there going and coming back on our trips down the SW . Always sit outside as blankets are supplied along with heaters and under a canopy . Love the place , don't think much of the new parking set up around there however

The cafe gave me cows milk when I had asked for a dairy alternative - I am highly allergic to cows milk! They did not even offer to make a new drink free of charge, so overall a very disappointing service!

Excellent food friendly staff. Best scones ever

Visited on a weekend so quite busy. Was easy enough to find a table with plenty of seating both inside and out. Service was fine but nothing special. We only had coffee, which was OK but again not the best I've had. The flat white lacked the strength and detail of taste needed to be a great coffee. Overall our experience was fine

If you like coffee this is not the place. Burn hot water. Ive asked twice for remake, unfortunatly not improvement. Avoid if u like coffee!

You’re really paying for the location here. The food took a long time to come and was frankly way over priced for what showed up. It wasn’t bad as such, it just felt like it needed knocked down at least about 30% price wise. There is better eateries in the area I’m afraid, both in terms of pricing and quality. I note the staff serving however were friendly and the welcome was warm.

We had Tiffin's high tea this afternoon which had been a wedding gift. It was absolutely gorgeous! The scones were light and delicious. We had both fruit and plain scones, 4 different sandwiches, mini quiches and various Tiffin cakes...... everything you could want. The waitress couldn't do enough for us. What a wonderful treat!

Made up prices. Had tea and scones with mrs and an Americano as i drink coffee. The bill came to £11.50 it was £7.40 for cream tea and £4.10 on the bill for a mug of coffee. Disgusting suprised didnt have to pay extra for the cup of milk we had. The coffee was more than half of the scones and tea. Definitely wouldn't go here again

Nice view of the Bristol Channel and Cardiff. Ordered two cups of tea, and it took over 35 minutes to come. It wasn’t even busy.

We went here at 4.15 on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a cream tea, a piece of cake and a cold drink. The cold drink and pot of tea for 2 arrived really quickly. We waited nearly half an hour for our cream tea and cake to arrive, by which time we'd drunk our drinks and staff were starting to clean the cafe around us as they shut at 5.00pm. Not very relaxing.

Really nice place , the staff were very welcoming got us a table straight away, the were very kind and polite. They had a great choice of tea ,food was cooked to perfection with fresh herbs. I would highly recommend Tiffins . Love coming here for a nice cup of tea, service is always good, they are always so polite and helpful, food is delicious and will continue to come back, highly recommend

Great setting for lunch or coffee. We got a table outside on a sunny day so it was lovely. It was busy but staff were attentive. One of the best ploughmans lunches I've ever had. Would recommend.

This place was very overpriced and underwhelming. I wouldn't say it is not children friendly either . The staff seemed ok but not very welcoming .

Excellent service from the staff. We sat outside in the sunshine for a coffee. Beautiful views over the sea and peir. Quick service, lovely coffee (strong) and hot chocolate. They also offer a very large choice of teas, cakes, breakfasts and other light meals. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Take aways can be ordered. Street parking is free nearby. Really enjoyed the experience and will revisit again.

Lovely meal, right on the beach front. Veggie platter was big and delicious. Disabled access was very good.

Waited a long time for drinks. Most expensive avocado on toast I have ever had. And not a good one! On tiny slices of bread which was stale and tasted a week old. Eggs were poached ok. Tomato on it was a joke. Must say other dishes looked better but won’t visit again and won’t recommend!

Three of us. Two had coffee. One bottle of water. One bacon bap. Two had 2 overcooked poached eggs on one tiny un-buttered piece of sourdough toast. Not impressed. Then had the bill £39! Pretty sure this was not the prices advertised on the menu but felt too embarrassed to ask to see the menu so we left, disappointed as the food was tasteless and bland as well as overpriced. :-)

Overpriced and very disappointing. Dry bread lukewarm wilted spinach with hard ham, obviously bought in food as the eggs were uniform… probably came uncooked. No one asked what we thought of this overpriced mediocre food, probably because they knew what we would say. The coffee was ok.

Afternoon cake and tea - royal tiffin was amazing . Always friendly service -not rushed, such a lovely place to go for food and a gorgeous spot to sit and have a catch up. Parking is terrible but that is not the fault.of the shop but council not supporting local business's.

After looking at some great reviews and hearing the locals rave about this place, me and friend were so excited to dine in! We were wrong.... We asked the waitress to sit by the window as there was only 3 tables in use and it wasn't busy and got told to sit by the toilet at the other end of the restaurant as they were expecting it to be busy and it was a table of 4. 5 minutes later the table in the window was occupied by a table of 2 and they had their order taken and drinks has arrived, 2 more tables walk in, and we are sat still waiting to order (15 minutes later) dispute looking at the overcrowded tills with 5 people working. When ordering they had no options for a vegan breakfast and wanted to change me £11.40 for 2 hash brown's, a Portobello mushroom and a handful of spinach. Safe to say the food was an utter disappointment, bland tasting and dreadful service (not to mention the waitress kept telling me that they had gluten free options despite mentioning that I'm vegan and judging me saying "it must be hard to eat out") I would NOT recommend.

Intimate food bar serving tea/coffee and various meals from breakfast to lunch and tea-time. It has an outside terraced area with tables but indoor was a little cramped especially with a disabled person with a walker. Decent enough food at a reasonable price with speciality teas. I had Rooiboos tea. Parking problematic as right opposite pier and beach. Some Parking opposite if you are lucky.

Nice place to sit but not overly impressed by the food or speed of service/orders - quite pricey too for what it is.

Friendly, cosy restaurant right on the promenade. Lovely lunch menu with lots of vegetarian options. Delicious late breakfast and great coffee/ tea choices. So lovely to hear the manager regularly telling staff what a great job they are doing on a busy day, rare these days! Very efficient service even on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Highly recommended 👌

Visited today service was very poor, appeared to be lots of staff working but they didn't seem to be doing anything or know what they were doing..Waited about 7-10 mins before having to gesture to a staff member that we were seated and awaiting menu/service. We asked for water when they took the order. None came we asked 4 times 4 different staff for the water before one actually brought us water! Our food came before the water! Food was cold and quite poor in quality for the price. Tiffins is in a fabulous location and appears quite popular and have little competition, but I would be very reluctant to visit again or recommend.

This is good, the perfect spot to enjoy view's across the Bristol Channel to Wales, great for people watching, indoors or outdoors, very good selection of teas and cakes. A perfect seaside cafe

Delicious scones with cream and jam with a cup of hot chocolate!!! The weather was beautiful and complemented the food beautifully.
