Tiffany's Cafe in Brighton and Hove

Lovely little cafe in Brighton, run by staff with smiles on their faces plus great value for money compared to big chain restaurants. We came for a classic full english which did not disappoint. They offer so much on the menu for such reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again!

Been using this place for around 10 years now. Only vist 3 or 4 times a year. Alway meet with a smile and some how the owner remember us. Food is cooked fresh and alway tasty. Looking for to or next vist already.

Absolutely outraged at the way we were treated today. Ordered two cheese and tomato sandwiches,coffee and a cold drink. Later after we had finished my partner queried the bill. The assistant said it was because they didn't have cheese and tomato on menu so we had to pay extra. They did however have cheese salad sandwiches. We got an itemised bill and to our shock we had been charged and extra £1.50 for each sandwich . This was for the tomato. Will never go there again. Absolutely madness charging that much for a few slices of tomato.

2 weeks on trot now pork chops with chips and peas. 10/10 for food. Cooked perfect. Clean. Radio playing low. 2 floors. Live nearby so be back soon. Big variety on menu. Food and drink.

If you're after haute cuisine, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are looking for a no-nonsense, good value breakfast, pop in. The options are varied, the bacon in particular was cooked just the way I like it, and at just £8.25 (with a mug of tea) - in central Brighton - you're getting a bargain.

I thought the person who served us was rude and clearly didn’t like their job. We then had to wait ages for fair,y average food and the café downstairs had a funny smell to it. Probably won’t be going again

Seen all the great reviews of Tiffany’s on Tripadvisor, & finally got to eat breakfast here at the weekend. It’s a proper cafe serving, proper food. Nothing fancy, just proper grub. Big blackboard menu with lots of choices. Lots & lots of choices. My partner ordered the full English set breakfast & I had the vegetarian set breakfast. £6.95 each. Great value for money. Lots of food. I particularly enjoyed the bubble & squeak. Haven’t eaten this for years.. so much food I wasn’t able to eat everything. Wish we’d visited years ago instead of wasting time at some of the pretentious places nearby. Highly recommended.

First visit here today. I had the Omelette and within the hour had severe stomach pains followed by vomiting and diarrhoea. Could be a coincidence but don’t think I will risk it again

ordered a chocolate milkshake that cost £3 that was a yazoo poured in to a glass. they also added cream which was not advertised and I did not want. I also ordered breakfast number 2. I asked to substitute the bacon for one extra egg and one extra hash brown and confused why I got charged an extra £2?!!!

Fantastic little cafe, these type of places are a dying breed bit this one is a gem. Great food, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Probably the best cafe in Brighton.

The restorative powers of a Tiffany's breakfast should be available on prescription. You cannot do better than this - they have a veggie option if required. I wish there was one near me.

They have everything you need for those occasions when you need a decent breakfast. The seating area downstairs needs a little sprucing up. It feels like you’re in a Stalinist Russian factory canteen.

Excellent choice of breakfasts which were cooked well and delicious. A spotless restaurant with excellent service. Would definitely come here again next time I’m in the Lanes.

Desayuné aquí con la familia. ¿Pediste huevos fritos con tostadas? ¿No puedes hacer mucho con eso? Los huevos eran sólidos como una roca sin yugo y la tostada que apenas era marrón estaba fría y masticable. Lo siento, no es difícil cocinar huevos bien. No volveremos!

i am veggie and always the love the veggie breakfast, but plenty of other choices for veggies and meat eaters. They keep this cafe spotless.

Tiffany's was recommended to us by a couple of locals for breakfast so we gave it a go! The guys working there were really friendly and chatty and the breakfast was just perfect to keep us going will happily go back next time in Brighton

Great location and staff very pleasant. Food was quick served with a Nice coffee. I had the set menu 2 which went down a treat. Well done. Will return soon 😃

I had the vegetarian breakfast and was big, but a little bit disappointed as they use the cheapest and more disgusting vegetarian sausages that they could find, potato carrots and pea sausages? With all the options there are in the market this days, specially in Brighton, they serve that? I won’t return, for similar price I found many other places with better quality items.

Roughest tuna sandwich I’ve ever seen. Looked like brains. The bread used was stale, the kind you’d use for toast, which is great......for toast.

We normally love a cheap and cheerful greasy spoon cafe but this was honestly disgusting. First of all they said they only accept cash, then when we said we didn’t have any and went to leave he pulled out a hidden card machine and reluctantly let us pay that way. They’d also turned away 2 large groups of people who didn’t have cash on them, very sketchy. Breakfast itself was really tasteless and actually tasted stale. Sausage was weird, no taste. Hash browns tasted like they’d been fried in oil that hadn’t been changed in years. Generally was all just really rubbish and cheap. Like I said, we usually like a greasy fry up but this was like cardboard. Will not ever be back and really wouldn’t ever recommend it.

Always a warm welcome received at Tiffany’s. A good hearty breakfast, always served piping hot and reasonably priced. A definite stop if I’m in the Brighton area. Only downside is the door can be a bit crafty in windy weather

Tenía la esperanza de conseguir un delicioso desayuno fresco aquí, pero lamentablemente una gran decepción. . . la yema de huevo en mi huevo frito era sólida y debería estar goteando, pudin negro sobre cocido y seco, frijoles horneados a salados, tocino seco sobre cocido, champiñones secos, tostadas ya con mantequilla (margarina bien), burbuja y chirrido absolutamente no comestible que era la mezcla de puré de papas con un poco de verdura debe ser bien crujiente, muy suave y acuosa. . . Estaba comiendo porque no tuve tiempo y estuve muy hambriento, pero nunca volveré aquí desafortunadamente. ! !

The cafe has a wide selection of breakfast, well cooked, well priced the staff are good attentive and there are some play toys for children. Very welcoming

Poco sucio. Bastante anticuado. No es elegante en absoluto, pero nos encanta! Puede diseñar su propio desayuno, es delicioso, porciones generosas y le quita la resaca. ¡No pretenden ser algo que no son! ¡Y es barato! (A diferencia de muchos lugares en Brighton).

The breakfast is a must, you can build your own breakfast lots to choose from, my partner had the bubble and squeak and said it was one of the best he’d ever had.

Stopped for breakfast, had the best cooked poached eggs I’ve had anywhere. Service was friendly and food came quickly and was well cooked.

Served by a very blunt, uninviting man. Ordered mushrooms along with my meal but they were forgotten. Notified the man and he said I wasn't charged for the mushrooms which was fine, just a misunderstanding, but he was so rude!

I came here for the breakfast the food itself was really tasty and I like the fact you can build your own fry up. The location was good as it was right in the heart of Brighton near the coast. My only complaint was that they forgot to give my bf his breakfast, however when we enquired they apologised and made him one immediately. Also I have been here before on another holiday and this hasn't happened before.

stopped in for a cooked breakfast - when it came the bens were cold, so i told the waitress- she took our plates away and when they came back the beans were hot but everything else was cold - shame because it looked good.

I like these traditional cafes when you want a quick hot meal at lunchtimes. I usually have the full breakfast but opted for chicken pie and chips. The meal was freshly cooked, hot and the chips were excellent. It was served with peas and gravy, all for £5.50. Plenty of choice on the menus. Friendly service, quick and reasonably priced yet very near the main shopping streets.

Great value and great range. I had not even realised we were having breakfast at Tiffany's until recommending them to a friend later in the day.

Stopped off here whilst passing, had a breakfast here. Very reasonable price wise and not bad either. In a good location and the woman in here was very friendly. Worth a visit if passing.

Me he comido aquí varias veces. Está en una estupenda ubicación en el centro de North Lanes. Puede estar muy concurrido, pero yo nunca he tenido problemas para conseguir una mesa y el juego de desayuno vegetariano, es un gran valor. Buenas porciones y fresca. Así que sin duda merece la pena una visita mientras compras o etc mooching alrededor.

Recomiendo encarecidamente Audrey Hepburn café temático. . . Ambiente muy agradable. Si tu un ventilador o incluso si no. Gran servicio amable de los propietarios porciones abundantes a un precio razonable que si estás en la zona.

This cosy cafe has warm people serving me good honest fresh food at very affodable prices ,ths salad was very fresh for a sunday, hot tea (lots of places serve luke tea) which so comfortain on wind swept cold winters day, i asked for something not on the menu which the owener serving did not bat an eyelid knowing if that i want why not do it !! Go there support good people 0) and you will enjoy it.... .. .

Vinimos aquí con la oportunidad como el restaurante habíamos planeado ir, pero estaba cerrado. La comida era de muy buena calidad para el precio que pagamos, y las porciones eran enormes! Pedimos una patata chaqueta con frijoles y ensalada y un desayuno vegetariano y platos estaba buenísimo y ambas fueron cocinados muy rápidamente. Sin duda nos alojaremos de nuevo allí!

Staff were rude, overcharged us and the food was terrible. I won't come here again. Staff can't count, are very unpleasant especially considering we had a baby with us & the toilets had no loo roll or hand towels. Not a good experience.

This is our café of choice every time we visit Brighton, the food is lovely and good value. There were 5 of us and we all had a different kind of breakfast and all were very tasty.

Very cheap to eat and have a coffee in here, standard cafe style stuff (jacket potatoes, breakfasts etc) but always good quality and good portions. Clean inside and the lady behind the counter is always really friendly. Love coming in here, playing a bit of chess and chatting about the old seventies radio with record player, having a hot chocolate or a bit of lunch. Nice one guys :)

I can honestly say this is the worst roast dinner I have ever had. We went here as we thought it would cater for the varied tastes of all of us. I had the roast chicken dinner and for just shy of six quid I didn't expect anything amazing. How wrong could I be? The dinner consisted of a frozen chicken breast that had been microwaved, the skin was wobbly, the meat dry and it wasn't even heated properly. It was accompanied by microwaved frozen veg, the type that is broken tiny pieces of broccoli, cauliflower and fake tiny carrots. (The carrots that are made of tiny bits of carrot squished together with added food colouring and formed into tiny 'baby' carrots). Added to this were three frozen roast potatoes that were so tiny that each one would have fit on a teaspoon, a ready made frozen Yorkshire that looked like a budget brand and to finish it off approximately 3 tablespoons of gravy that again was defiantly the powdered variety that you add hot water too. Totally disgusting! I really wouldn't give it to my dog. If we hadn't had to pay up front for the meal I would have refused to pay. Instead I ate what I could and left rather than cause a scene in front of the children. The children and my husband had the all day breakfast which were ok at best although my daughters bubble and squeak was either gone off or contained cheese, I couldn't tell. I actually couldn't eat the taste she gave me and had to spit it into a serviette. Needless to say, you couldn't pay me enough to go back there.

This used to be a family run cafe then was taken over by this chin. The smell and fat that comes from the extraction unit is enough to stop you going in.

Nothing special. A very good place for brunch. It offers sandwiches and a good variety of omelette: with chicken, mushrooms etc. with salad on a side.

It's a standard breakfast bar. You get what you pay for. Foods decent, atmosphere is what you'd expect. All round decent place.

I have seen quite a lot of negative reviews for this place so I thought I would share my opinion on it. I have found that the staff's ability to allow you to pretty much create your own breakfast is really good and the fact that they are flexible like that is good and helpful if you dont like baked beans. There is a wide variety of food which for the most part is very nice. some people complain that it is to grimy or too greasy. But honestly, it isnt all that bad, the food is not as greasy as some places and even if it is, it is a little corner cafe, it is part of the charm.

Haven't been here for years, used to like it, and decided to give it a visit it opens very early too!It's a very bright place with huge Windows and a less bright downstairs section. The interior has been freshened up, but the menu seems the same. There are tabloid newspapers to read.All breakfast are under a fiver, we went for set menu 1 & 2.The "sausage "was okay, but hardly any pork, identical to an unbattered fish and chip shop sausage, the bacon was nice enough though, the eggs a little over cooked with strangely small yolks, the fresh cooked tomato was ok, the fried bread overcooked, the hash browns were nice and a good size.The cappuccino was really dreadful Clearly majoring on size and value, speedy service, but the quality of the food left much to be desired (however the plates were very nice (large).

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning having been before though quite a while ago - must say we were disappointed as although the breakfast looked good the beans and the bubble and squeak were cold when we mentioned it and that it could be that the food was put on cold plates we were told that it wasn't a hotel and the prices and that the prices were cheap! I don't think a hot breakfast is too much to ask for! There are lots of great places to have breakfast in Brighton and if they want more business they need to take on board what their customers say

Nous avons vu sur le tableau extérieur, l'offre du jour : hot dog ou burger + frites : 2.50£. Nous avons donc commandé et nous sommes installés à l'intérieur. Une décoration minimaliste autour de Londres et de Audrey Hepburn (pourquoi pas), les fauteuils sont confortables.Nous avons donc dégusté notre hot-dog et Burger + frites. Assez simple, ce n'est pas de la gastronomie mais ça suffit largement pour 2.50£.La femme qui nous accueillis et servis était très gentille.Bon rapport qualité/prix.

I guess you get what you pay for. Such disgusting quality, and grubby inside. I'm sure the sausage is 2% meat... I ate in here because there were such long queues in my favourite breakfast places... It's now apparent why it wasn't busy... terrible food and a lack of atmosphere. I would never go back.

I called this cafe as my daughter has loved this film since she was small and we have always joked about having breakfast at tiffanys, although the one in New York doesn't actually have a restaurant. When I came across this cafe I thought it would be the perfect place to take her for breakfast on her birthday. I called the cafe twice and had to leave a messages as the phone wasn't answered. I double checked it was the correct number as I thought it was strange. I left a message explaining that it was my daughters 21st and that we would like to meet there with the family for breakfast. There are a lot of us so it would have been very profitable for them. They didn't even have the decency to call us back. I think that is very rude and extremely bad customer care. Dreadful place but thankfully after reading the reviews about the terrible food, I'm glad we took our business elsewhere!

I visited this cafe today and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the poor quality food and expensive prices. The star however was very pleasant and made on experience nice but this doesn't pass having paid out over £20 for a family of 4 meal have just receiving such poor quality items. I don't think I would recommend this to anyone but we needed a quick fix for the time.

Went here for Breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. There is an amazing choice for pick and mix breakfasts, and really good value. Never had bubble and squeak with a fry-up before, oooohh how exotic. Not a fan of the dirty, old ketchup bottles, but apart from that all good! Would certainly go back.

Straight forward food at a good price in a clean cafe with clean loos. Can't say fairer than that. Lovely grilled tomato sandwich and a cuppa.

This is my fave place to visit after a night out. Perfectly cooked breakfast with a few different options. Easy to order and quick service. Just n FYI there is a 50p card charge just encase you wanted to know :)

Io ed un gruppo di amiche abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso. Che dire? Siamo rimaste molto sorprese. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti e tutto a pochi euro. Ne vale veramente la pena!

Whenever we visit brighton we always make sure we have breakfast at tiffany. There's a large menu but we always have a full English, it's not all greasy and the eggs are done to perfection . Situated in the north lanes it's a great place to start your day

I came with a friend. This is the place to come if you are ravenous and want an English Breakfast or any combination you like. I had the full English with a latte and it is good value for money. The coffee wasn't great but often isn't at a greasy spoon to be honest. It's more the breakfast I'm into. The service is efficient and it seems to always be pretty busy. It's definitely the sort of place you come with mates after a night out and want to take it easy and relax at your typical greasy spoon cafe. You know what you want, you get it. Simple.

Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown, beans and toast, I can still remember it, however I'm never a fan of refilling Heinz ketchup bottles with budget ketchup, I'm not a snob.. I promise

It's a cafe - that about explains it really but it's very reasonably priced and totally frill free. Great service and the food is really quite good.

After having a family party in Brighton I asked where I could go for a decent fry up & Tiffany's was suggested so me & my mum took a walk down to the cafe. I had a number one Breakfast Bacon, egg, sausage, hash brown & toast! As I dont like beans they let me swap for an extra sausage! I also had an apple juice! Was very nice & good value for money! They did take away too! I liked all the pictures in the cafe not so keen on the wooden tables! Would visit again! :) staff also very friendly!

Popped in to get a sandwich, which took 20 minutes for them to prepare !! When it finally arrived it was OK but nothing special and the price was no better than other places

My partner and I are in Brighton shopping we often go to Tiffany's in North road, the staff are always friendly and the place is clean and basic, there is a good choice of different types of breakfast, and def value for money, it will tide you over for the day.

I went to the breakfast at tiffanys in hove and waited over an hour for my order. Whilst I waited all I could hear was the manager screaming at 2 young girls in the kitchen about how poorly they were doing at their job. These two girls looked about 16 and from the way they served me they seemed completely professional and really polite. I dread to think what it would be like to work for such a horrible boss. Definitely will not be returning.

Firstly, there are two Tiffany's cafes in Brighton. One in North Road and the other in London Road.This review is of the North Road cafe. I visited here on Sunday lunchtime and had one of their all day breakfast range.Lots of variations served on large plate and despite being busy on two floors the breakfast was piping hot and served with a smile.I regularly use this cafe and at £4.95 for breakfast it's great value, clean and friendly.

Excellent choice of breakfast 6 options all £4.95 each, good old fashioned café, clean, tidy, good food.

Go here if you want to choose a set menu breakfast or create your own whopper of a breakfast platter! Good quality ingredients!

Visited Tiffany's Cafe after a night out in Brighton and got up too late for breakfast at the Gather Inn where we were staying. The cafe has a quirky interior which makes a nice change from the usual greasy spoon decor. Our food arrived after a short wait and no one was disappointed, all the usual full English offerings as well as a very good vegetarian option. The portions were generous and the pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

A lovely little café we found yesterday. Very clean, including the toilets, and friendly helpful staff. Had an all day breakfast which was great and well priced. Would recommend this cafe to anyone.

Visited with my friends after a heavy night out in Brighton for my hen do! The full English breakfasts managed to revive us to normality and were served quickly and tasted great. Portion sizes were very generous too.

I used to come here for hungover breakfast all the time as a drunk student and Tiffany's never failed to hit the spot. So, as a now sober half of a couple we HAD to stop by for breakfast while we were in Brighton. Nothing here has changed which is awesome and what i wanted. Basic breakfast fayre really. It is a "caff" so don't expect Michelin star grub but Tiffany's is my favorite breakfast spot.There are better places, there are cheaper places, but Tiffany's is my favourite.

Spent a few days in Brighton and went here to have a snack, good reasonable priced food.Very varied selection and good well cooked café food. Service prompt and staff friendly. Will certainly make a return visiting Brighton again.

My girlfriend and I visited Brighton for the day and chose this spot for a quick bite. The menu was varied and had some great options on set breakfasts. The food was cooked deliciously and the service was very pleasant. We would definitely come back when we next visit Brighton. Very relaxed place and price was very good :)

Just got back from Brighton and had brekky at this fab cafe in Hove. Great food and service and really cheap for this area - would definately go there next time we're there!

Our first visit was average so we decided to revisit. We waited for a long time to recieve 1 panani of which had 1 ration of bacon and hardly any chicken. We asked to get it replaced, it took them 10 minutes to find out they had no chicken in stock. Managed to get a refund. Shall not be revisiting.

For an occasion where you just need a caff, this is a good one. Just right for a cuppa and a bacon sandwich. Strangely, there are few ordinary cafés around these days when you just want to eat at a reasonable price. Here it is!

Waited an hour for our fry up. When it came they had got the order wrong.Lady sitting next to us said her piece of battered fish was still frozen in the middle!You make your mind up!!

I stopped off for a quick fry up with a friend on a Tuesday morning, there were a number of different set options, we both had one of the set breakfast and a cup of tea. We had big plates and mine had generous portions of sausage, bacon, beans, toast, black pudding, mushroom and egg. Breakfast was £4.95 each and tea was £1 each. The place offers WiFi, I didn't try it but I sure will go back and perhaps have a working breakfast there. Nothing special but it was exactly what we needed. Very filling and I didn't need to eat until dinner. Good value for money in central Brighton.

The interior particularly downstairs is quite cool - with old paintings and pictures of Audrey Hepburn. The portions are certainly generous and they do the 'classic' english breakfast justice. Anything from a classic 'Fry up' to cure that hangover or a quick meal to give you an energy boost.I was upset with the choice of food. The menu was a bit of a disappointment. I guess its as only as good as the food they serve. The service was decent but when you're in this part of Brighton - the standards are high. Hence I don't think it is really worth it.

This cafe is great for getting a fry up. They offer a good selection of stuff to add to your plate and you can mix and match what you want. Service is usually OK and they have a good mix of alternative teas incase you don't like builders tea.

Tiffany's is a very basic cafe where the portions are generous, the prices reasonable, the staff friendly, but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast sampled was a bit disappointing - poor quality sausage, over-cooked egg, soggy half-done toast, but the coffee was good. A good place to watch the world go by or to read the newspaper (supplied) but the food won't win any Michelin stars.

We visited as the crowds were leaving a very wet childrens parade. The staff were friendly but seemed to struggle with the numbers of customers. We waited about 30 minutes for our tepid drinks and burnt paninis to arrive. Bizarrely despite the black exterior the contents of the paninis were rather cold.
