Visited Aberdovey for a weekend away with my wife and two kids, stumbled across this place on a rainy day and ended up staying roughly 4 hours. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, drinks are superb and the music creates a really nice modern vibe, would definitely reccomend to anyone visiting the area, wether that be as a family, couple or even for drinks with friends. We will definitely be visiting again!

There was no indication from the outside that it's cashless otherwise we'd have avoided it. Cashless establishments are the thin end of a very pernicious wedge and should be boycotted. Avoid the Tide's Inn and get yourself in the Brit.

We entered the Inn via an open side door, the lights were on and we'd seen people sat inside when we'd walked past earlier. Once we got inside we realised it probably wasnt open, the man behind the bar was so rude we were left speechless and made a quick exit.. with him following us to slam the door behind us. A real shame and put a dampner on our day. Would suggest he learns some manners and a bit of patience for a simple mistake.

Great pub great staff! Went in twice over the weekend as we enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality. Nicely decorated and the wash room facilities were lovely . Purchased a lovely t shirt (don’t forget to let me know about the jumper 😉😀)

Absolutely fantastic little bar, a hidden gem. We were celebrating a 50th birthday, and the landlord couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating, fantastic range of beers and they do some excellent quality clothing too. If your anywhere near aberdyfi you have to visit this place!

A great little bar with friendly, helpful staff. No food served, but good selection of drinks, a small wine list and a range of cocktails. Dog friendly. Another visitor commented how polite the staff were, not pushy to serve more drinks just focussed on ensuring everyone was having a good, relaxed time. Would certainly visit again.

We stopped here for breakfast twice, having been disappointed by the service at another establishment. The breakfast rolls are tasty, especially the sausages, and both the tea and coffee were good. Fair prices and very friendly service. Outdoor seating where you can eat your food whilst enjoying the beautiful views of Llanberis and its surroundings. Also does delicious cakes, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Highly recommended.

I'm actually gutted to be writing this review as we thought we had found a good haunt when we first tried last week. 2 adults & 2 children all had a lovely lunch time meal the previous week so we rebooked for the 2 adults for an evening meal the following weekend. The starter was lovely for both of us but we both ordered fillet steak for our main and I don't know what meat it was but it certainly wasn't a beef steak. It didn't look like one, taste like one or even cut like one. I was genuinely gutted as it has put me off going back again because I feel like it's just rude to expect somebody not to notice and left feeling like we've been totally ripped off. You don't order a fillet steak if you don't know exactly what to expect on your plate so the audacity to think you can pull that off is unbelievable. I can't complain about the service, both times it has been spot on, lovely women but unfortunately we won't be returning after been served that.

On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth

Lovely little dog friendly cafe in the heart of the village. Warm welcome by the host and his friendly staff. Typical Welsh weather and unfortunately the biffolding doors were closed in July however will visit again when the sun is out Diolch
