Thyme restaurant in Poole

One of the best steaks I've had. The chef cooked it perfect. The menu is small but quality was excellent. I've eaten in many premier inn restaurants but this one sets the benchmark for quality and service.

Another Whitbread brand restaurant with not enough staff to keep up with a very busy Subday. Everything is running out and not getting topped up in good time. Yet they put the price up.

Didn't even get to order the food. We waited ages and other people who arrived later than us were getting served first.

Only went for pot of tea.given 2 cups no saucer. Had to change cup as it was dirty.was about 12 noon.place looked grubby.all staff disapeared.

We were staying at the Premier Inn and decided to eat in the restaurant. We had booked a table and were aware that the food may take a little longer as they were working on reduced staffing levels. We ordered starter and main course each. However, it took over 30 minutes to advise us that one of the ordered main course was no longer available, no mention of where the starter was. The starters did arrive after approximately another 30 minutes. We were on the verge of walking out. In a nutshell, if took over an hour and half for us to receive a 2 course meal. We use the Premier Inn in Poole on a regular basis to visit family but we will think twice about using the restaurant on an evening in the future. Their only saving grace is the fact the food when it did arrive was very good.

Inside the Premier Inn. Dinner and breakfast only. Simple menu but we thought it freshly prepared and quite nice. Bar service also. Prices are reasonable. There are very few other places to eat in the area.

Over priced poor quality food. Dough balls burnt to toast, no flavour in other dishes. Good service let down by the food.

Restaurants were not open, no service available for drinks. You need to look for someone to get served.

I was very impressed with the quality of the steak and the chef cooked it perfectly 3 nights in a row. Yes, it was that good that I had it 3 nights in a row and I would compare it to Miller and Carter standards.

One of the better restaurants we went into, good food and beer for the price.

Stopped for a bite, water, and toilet! After a big walk, nice place, lovely staff, yummiest sandwiches!

More than acceptable food at the hotel, good wine, good service and an onsite bar. What more can you ask for.

The food was nice and well presented. Friendly and polite service and did not have to wait long for our food despite being busy. Would recommend.

nice service but I waited over an hour for the ordered meal. Received meal not in accordance with the order. during my trips I mostly use the Premir Inn hotel, but this was the first time I was disappointed in the restaurant.

I wouldnt bother personally not unless you enjoying waiting a very long time especially for a drinks order. Food... Over cooked, limited options due to limited stock

Food was fair and service was poor. Convenient when staying at hotel but would be far better off going out to eat.
