Spice House in Poole

Used to be good a few months ago but since someone left I'm afraid it's gone so down hill. Sheek kebabs were like rubber boots tonight!! So disappointing 😞

Used to love this place but it went down hill last year portion sizes got smaller and currys got very watery / greasy decided to give it another go last night it was nothing like it used to be will not be returning

Great portion sizes and amazing flavour! Won't go anywhere else for a curry.

Ordered tonight, always used this takeaway However found the taka Dall very runny ,chicken pathia no taste just spice ,burnt nann bread No salad or dips with poppadoms and advised these were extra (never were before) Such a shame as always been really good before . Also was texted 30% off when ordering was not available .

Very tasty food. Not oily at all like most indian takaways, and they mark gluten containing food!

Terrible food, the worst I've eaten, the portion sizes are ridiculously small. I normally order a chicken tikka masala and kurma and with rice and that should be enough for two, it turned up and not enough to feed a small child Poor service

Love spice house. Tonight however is a farce. Appreciate its busy being NYE but an estimated time of 1hr 30 mins is now nearly 3 hours and no delivery. Ring through and they advise delivery was enroute (9pm) Nothing by 9.45pm and then then say delivery hasn't left and another 15 mins. Not impressed. 3 hours for delivery. Not good and no updates. Would reluctantly use again. Sort delivery out and your food is amazing but I don't really want to be waiting on NYE for food for 3 hours. At this rate I will be eating the curry at midnight. Not good. Appreciate how busy it will be but 3 hours is a long long wait and is unacceptable, even in accentuating circumstances. EDIT*** Food arrived at 10pm and was absolutely delicious. However why do they need to lie? At 9pm instead of saying its cooked and enroute how about just being honest and saying demand is high, that way people won't get irritated. Food was piping hot do was only cooked a short while before delivery. I don't mind and understand BUT be honest. I hate lies and false promises. Poor delivery guy running around he clearly has so many to deliver. Its not his fault, its a logistical issue. Sort out the delivery issues and you would be a 5 star takeaway. Edit**** Staff were very apologetic and explained what happened on NYE. Apology accepted and they offered a free Naga kebab. As usual, kebab delicious so will continue custom with this takeaway in the future 😀

Food didn't arrive for hours and staff literally said "i'm begging you" to wait even after the delivery was an hour late - very unprofessional

Want fresh delicious food? This is the Place! I was recommended this place, and wouldn't go anywhere else now. Their Service, Food Quality and Quantity, it is at top of the class. Their New dish, "Indian Style Doner Kebab" Is amazing. The best Doner Kebab in whole Dorset.

Me and my friend were hungry. Then this food showed up. Would really recommend this takeaway place for warm and great service on time. The two girls who delivered it were amazing on camera

Ordered through just eat and so disappointed. The tikka was so spicy I couldn’t finish it and was so over spiced that you couldn’t taste anything except chilli. I Almost think they forgot to add cream. The one star is for the saving grace that was the mango lassi, so so so yummy and probably one of the best I’ve ever had.

Absolutely delicious and have been consistent with quality and taste. Wouldn't look for curry takeaway from anywhere else.

Ordered 2 hours ago, said it would be 30 mins, then said it would be another 30 mins then another 20 mins and then they didn’t deliver and didn’t pick up the phone.

Thought we would give this a go as it was recommended by a friend. Very good quality Indian, nice consistency unlike some others that are just too watery and greasy. Great customer service. Will certainly be ordering again soon!

Ordered from Tiger Bay in Westbourne, received Spice House and called them asking why this was, they said they had Tiger Bays customer database while they are shutdown. This is a complete lack of transparency as I would not have ordered this. Also waited over 2 hours for delivery, appalling.

Usually good but tonight was a bit of a let down. Burnt food, and wrong dishes. Called twice. Got hung up on twice. Perhaps work on customer service guys

Always get great service and food, the naan bread I had with my meal tonight was the best I've ever had and my curry was perfect!

I have ordered from these guys before and have had no problem. Tonight I'm disgusted the food was bland and the korma is literally swimming in water when I complained they said they didn't accept my compliant. Never again will I order form them.

Best take away curry house in Poole by a country mile. Always deliver hot food on time with a great menu. Food is the best. Far better than the Taj in Poole and they have a 5 star hygiene rating..... say no more

Had deliveries on several occasions. Great service and the food always arrives hot and in a timely manner. The menu has plenty of choice and it is very reasonably priced. Would order again and recommend

Not had a delivery yet as I popped in instead. Food has always been amazing and good service.

Shambles. Order came to house missing drink and with wrong food. When called back to say order was wrong the man on the phone became very aggressive and hung up the phone. They did not answer when tried to call back. Will not be using this place again!!!!

Brilliant service guys, lovely food last night. Only thing wrong was the one bad of salad and sauce with 3 starters!!! let yourselves down there !!

Really enjoyed my ceylon. I asked for the ceylon to be mild instead of hot and it was awesome, one of the nicest curries i've eaten.

Just had our first meal from here and the food was lovely, we'll definitely order from here again. Most impressively it was delivered piping hot.
