Food was absolutely delicious,joe the chef is a credit to this hotel . Steak was cooked to perfection and was the best Iv had in a long time . Portion size was good ,especially the sticky toffee pudding with custard which was yummy .

We had a continental breakfast on one of the two mornings we stayed here and really enjoyed it. Fantastic value for money at just £6.99. We chose this as I dont eat meat so all of the offering was more suitable to me. Free flowing coffee and even though staff brought the food out to you already prepared you still got full choice in regard to all you can eat. Coffee was great everything cooked and prepared well. Staff were great friendly and covid safe. Also grateful to have a non dairy milk offering that came in a small bottle rather than a sachet so could have it with cereal

Food was nice. Nothing special. Service was rubbish. The restaurant wasn’t full but was busy. Got seated and it was at least 10 minutes before someone came to take a drinks order. Food came and went and I spent 30 mins after having my plate taken away waiting for someone to come around with the dessert menu. They didn’t so I paid and left

Me alojo en las principales posadas de todo el norte de Inglaterra. En general, la comida es bastante buena. Pero después de haber tenido el kofta kebab de arranque no me impresionó. Estaba demasiado recocido que tuve que hackear para cortarlo. Tuve que dejar la mayor parte. La ensalada de lado dijo menos, mejor. Tal vez es porque hay algo ocupado. Luego recibí mi curry Mankani. Una muy mala experiencia a través de fuera. Nos detuvimos en el Premier Inn la noche anterior a un vuelo y decidimos comer en el restaurante del hotel por simplicidad y reducción de viajes. El servicio era deficiente y el personal estaba más interesado en conversar que en atender a los clientes. Esperamos más de 20 minutos para tener nuestra orden de bebidas entregados. El pescado y las papas fritas estaban grasientos y me hicieron sentir muy mal, así que no terminé. Mi compañero tenía la hamburguesa y el queso sabía que había caducado. Recomiendo encarecidamente comer en cualquier lugar aparte de aquí, fue horrible.

Not the first Thyme restaurant I have visited but not the best either. The food was bland and small portions. However, the service was excellent!

Íbamos a comer aquí, breve visita debido a que conocimos a nuestro hijo que estaba entre vuelos. Nos dijeron que estaba ocupado, pero no había mucha gente en el restaurante y muchos estaban terminando y pagando, pero no había flexibilidad. Nos dijeron que tardarían 15 minutos en tomar nuestro pedido, pero después de 20 minutos y una camarera que nos ignoró cuando queríamos preguntar cuánto tiempo tendríamos que esperar, nos dimos por vencidos y tomamos una copa en el bar. Había mucho personal, pero nadie parecía muy interesado en satisfacer a los clientes. Deben estar acostumbrados a las personas que tienen prisa, después de todo, es un hotel de aeropuerto que no tiene buena comida y la actitud indiferente del personal lo subrayó.

Me alojé en el hotel por tres noches por negocios. Elija el hotel por el restaurante Thyme del hotel. Restaurante bastante tranquilo. La comida está bien, nada especial. Comidas de opción saludable. Las ensaladas estaban bien y las porciones bastante grandes. El primer plato de ensaladas de ternera era bastante picante. Restaurante agradable y acogedor, aunque grande, con mesas bien separadas. Bonitas vistas de los barcos y el agua en los muelles de las ventanas. Un montón de ambiente en este almacén de tabaco convertido. El personal era amable y eficiente.

Este restaurante se encuentra en la principal posada, aparcamiento gratuito a través de la barrera. Servicio eficiente mostrado a nuestra mesa. Margaret parecía asustada y era una mujer maravillosa, el servicio de la vieja escuela con una gran charla.La sopa era muy buena al igual que el queso pan de ajo.El plato principal era pescado y papas fritas, no me puedo quejar, buen tamaño de la porción con muchas papas fritas.La hamburguesa azul de la pila era excelente.En general, muy buen restaurante, un entorno limpio, pero la estrella era Margaret, gracias.

Would reccommend eating here if staying at the hotel, it does get very busy so booking is recommended.

We had eaten here a couple of years ago & it was fab - decided to give it another go - wish we hadn't bothered - menu much reduced and food quality not good - vegetables over heated & dried out (microwaved). Understaffed and disorganised

This restaurant takes care of its diners very well. Recommended the baked sea bass and it was deliciously fresh and tasty. Margaret and her team are excellent hosts. Look out for them. Service with a smile.

Had a couple of meals while staying and all were pleasant. Just what you want: hot, tasty and as described. Nothing pretentious just wholesome bar food.

Not resident in the hotel but went here for an evening meal. Hadn’t booked a table so waited 15 minutes in the bar area. Meal was absolutely superb, quality and hot. Dessert lovely as well. Service was good also!

Fuimos aquí antes de volar desde el Aeropuerto de Liverpool. Sólo nos tomamos unas copas y la decoración era muy agradable y un ambiente relajado. Íbamos a comer aquí, pero no nos apetece nada en el menú, y pensé que era un poco caro para un restaurante adjunto a la Premier Inn.

Una noche en el hotel y decidimos cenar en el restaurante. El personal era amable y servicial. Tuvimos una excelente comida como parte de la cena y desayuno. Teníamos a la parrilla y aperitivos en macetas de cangrejo koftas y ambos tuvimos la lubina en Papillote para nuestro plato principal - absolutamente delicioso. Chef Laura, merece una mención especial por su cocina fresca, sabrosa y creativa.

Comimos aquí cuando nos alojamos en el hotel. Tuvimos gran mac que era queso macaroni y pedimos un lado de patatas fritas delgado. Los macarrones con queso ahumado tenía un sabor que era agradable, con 2 piezas de tocino y algunos cohetes, el tamaño de la porción era pequeña, así que era tan bueno que habíamos pedido una porción de patatas fritas y delgada. Nos dieron una botella de vino con la cena que estaba bien!

Mientras se aloje en el Premier Albert Dock inn reservamos dos noches con la oferta de comida, que es un gran valor.

Nos alojamos en el Premier Inn Albert Dock con nuestra hija grand (que nos habíamos llevado a ver 'Disney on Ice' en el O2 Arena) decidimos cenar allí después del espectáculo. Por suerte teníamos una mesa reservada, ya que el lugar estaba lleno cuando llegamos. No era un problema, sin embargo, como nos sentamos y rápidamente nuestra hija grand dieron ceras y una hoja festivo jugar. Me sorprendió la rapidez, eficiencia y profesionalismo del personal. Un sobresaliente para todos vosotros! Tuvimos una comida agradable sin una espera demasiado larga en un ambiente encantador con un personal amable. El desayuno la mañana siguiente también estaba muy lleno, pero de nuevo, el personal, dirigido por Jackie eran excelentes. La comida estaba caliente, abundante y sabroso. Una buena selección de platos fríos y calientes disponibles. Nunca he visto a nuestra hija grand comer mucho y disfrutar de ello. Jackie, quien estaba a cargo hizo todo lo posible para ayudarnos. Soy discapacitado y, a veces tratados como una molestia en los restaurantes pero Jackie no podría haber sido más amable y servicial. No he tenido a nadie como servicial y preocupado por mi bienestar antes. Jackie: Gracias, eres una estrella. Y gracias por hacer que nuestra hija toque tan especial. Ella puso sus chocolates, por cierto! ! !

Práctico, está junto al Premier Inn en el Aeropuerto de Liverpool. Que nos teníamos que ir a las 4 de la mañana a la mañana siguiente, así que no desean viajar más allá de la posada. El recepcionista del hotel nos llevó hasta el restaurante, pero incluso ella tenía un problema conseguir la atención del personal. El menú es muy amplio y la comida bastante buena para este tipo de establecimiento, principalmente grandes porciones de comida aceptable. El inconveniente se continuó el servicio en todo. Cuando nos íbamos, tuvimos que esperar varios minutos hasta que dos empleados habían terminado su conversación social.

Poor service. It was random, slow and lacking any spark. I got the impression that they just wanted to lay up for breakfast and go home.I had to send my meal back as it was only luke warm.they offered me another but by that time I wasn't hungry any more.Maybe I was just u lucky.

Stayed at the prem inn so thought we'd have a meal in the on site resteraunt....they've changed the menu...#sobs....no rarebit steak...nonethe less the meal itself was really nice...we had a chicken wing stack starter...nice...followed by ribeye which was cooked well...the new shallot and red wine sauce was lovely.....no room for pud...stuffed.

Know your limitations and go with the flow; standard steak and chips but with friendly staff and a two for one drinks offer until 8. This understates the place because the food was cooked and presented well, the staff did show care and attention and the place had some atmosphere-other stay before you fly options have treated customers with contempt and slices of pizza. A very pleasant way to start a holiday.

You have to look for this restaurant. It is within the Premier Inn, which, as a dock warehouse conversion, is itself discreetly hidden compared with most hotels. The menu is at the door, but on entering the PI there is no evidence of a restaurant. On asking at reception we were shown into the secured guest area and to the first floor, via lift, where we found a nice comfortable restaurant. It was quiet, with friendly helpful staff and the food was really good. I had the steak pudding and my wife had a steak. We wouldn't fault either. I also appreciated the décor of the converted building. We will certainly eat there again if the opportunity arises.

We were staying here so, as I am disabled it was easier to eat here on the meal deal of breakfast and two course evening meal for £23.99. We were going to a concert at the o2 Arena which started at 7.30 but the restaurant didn't open till 6 so we thought we might be a bit rushed.We were pleasantly surprised with our meal of tempura prawns, spicy chicken wings and two sirloin steaks. It was an excellent meal with excellent service.And at that price couldn't be beaten.We were seated in the Arena at 7.15 - without being rushed, so it was perfect. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent. There was lots of it and plenty of choice. The staff were very efficient and friendly

I had king prawns in tempura batter, delicious then ordered steak and kidney suet pudding. When it came it was hard and looked and tasted like pastry. My husband had burger which he loved. I had jacket potato and greens but the "suet" thing I didn't eat it all. The waitress brought the bill and I told her it was hard, she went off and came back and said the chef put it in the oven and it goes hard so she took it off the bill which I didn't expect or ask for but well done. Will probably be here again some time.

The only thing that lets this location down is the restaurant. The Premier Inn Hotel is excellent but its restaurant (Thyme) is not.My advice is find something else on offer - there is plenty around. We had a large party for a meal (25 people). Clearly, they struggled to plate the food. The quality was poor, it was not very hot and the majority of the party said it was adequate and not even average. My advice would be to not cater for a large party if there is doubt over quality resulting.Staff were not that friendly which again is a complete contrast to those working in the hotel.

Staying at Albert Dock Premier Inn and visited their Thyme restaurant as part of their 'meal deal' for evening meal and breakfast. Having visited similar restaurants in the past it wouldn't have been a first choice for dining, however owing to graduation at Liverpool University and a round Britain cruise ship all happening on the day all other restaurants were busy with hour long waiting times.Evening meal was fair at best in terms of food quality, the usual processed type food, having said that the service was good and staff were friendly. The restaurant was quiet with a good atmosphere with nice views across the Dock. Breakfast was self service. We decided to leave it as late as possible hoping the masses would have vacated however on arriving at the restaurant it was like the Wild West with kids running around and babies crying. Would suggest going at either 6.30 am or 10.15 am which are the quieter times. We went for the all you can eat self service breakfast. When we arrived at the counters it had been stripped so we left it 15 minutes and were pleasantly surprised to find it fully replenished with well cooked food.

I had the Baby Back Ribs, and they were just melt in the mouth. Went so well with the sweet corn. My husband had the Suet Pudding which he thought was dreadful, he's a Chef and said it was straight out of the packaging from the suppliers, probably Pioneer or similar. I also had the Chocolate Fondant which was perfect size and delicious. You can't please everyone all the time but the disparagy in quality shouted at you very likely

We ate here with the meal deal, which is any two course meal off the main menu, a drink and breakfast in the morning for £22.99. We both ordered tempura prawns which were nice and a rare sirloin steak. My steak was delicious, cooked to perfection, however, my friends was all fatty and full of sinews making it pretty much inedible. We are not complainers usually but we pointed it out to the waitress who immediately took the meal away and replaced the entire thing, with a perfectly cooked steak and apologies from the chef. A brilliant response to a complaint. My son had chicken wings and a hot dog which were both nice. The staff here are exceptional both in the evening and again at breakfast, where the efficient waitress chatted to us as she cleared our table. Overall the food was good, the prices acceptable and the service outstanding.

Had the meal deal for two persons. Starters were ok, prawns and nachos. Both had sirloin steak as main. Overcooked and a bit chewy. They had no sauces left so had to take tasteless gravy or barbecue sauce. Will not come back for sure.

We had booked the meal the day before, but they had no record of this so we were told we may have to wait a while because they had a booking of ten coming in. But we didn't really have to wait that long. We had a fabulous meal, couldn't fault the service. My partner had the mixed grill and I had a pizza, I would highly recommend the pizza, full of flavour and plenty of it. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the mixed grill, was just the right amount of meat. Would definatly go in thyme restaurant again.

Never imaged a premier in food would taste so good! Really nice. We had the meal deal £22.50 for 3 courses plus breakfast next morning- great value. Something for everyone in meal deal or you can go off plan and there looks like some tasty things!

My wife and I shared Chicken and BBQ salad, which may sound odd but was a really great meal.We also had breakfast there on several occasions and couldn't fault the food or the staff. Well done all of you.

The prices at this particular premier inn are too pricey. Some of the staff in the restaurant are rude and I had to wait three quarters of an hour for my meal to turn up, and then the order was wrong... They refunded my money but the experience just put me off... I would not stop here again ,,, sorry

The experience here was an overall enjoyable one. The food was passable for a hotel restaurant, perhaps pub-grub quality, but was somewhat overpriced regardless of the locale. Arrived late evening at the Premier Inn but staff were accommodating to this. I was half expecting not to be able to order dessert as it was past the 10pm serving time once I'd eaten my Main Course. I was pleasantly surprised by staff attitudes at this time and did not in any way feel rushed to leave the restaurant. All requests were granted, including some changes to the meals from the menu description. Food all cooked to a high standard and no issues with anything we ate.

Stayed at Premier Inn - excellent all aroundBUT... the Thyme restaurant attached was the worst food ever.The waiter and 2 waitresses were excellent, however, they were let down by the kitchen staff.Drinks and coffee were served in minutes whenever we ordered.Starter: "deep fried mushrooms & crispy aromatic duck" took 40 minutes to arrive and were not hot when they did.After the starter, we waited another 25 minutes for the main courseMain Course: "Hand battered fish & chips" The batter was chewy, the chips had obviously been reheated(maybe more than once). TERRIBLE ...and then we found out that it was "Vietnamese Catfish" "steak & chips" was 20% gristle and the chips were the same - chewy and really inedibleDessert: IceCream Meringue Sundae was ok, but my 5 small chewy profiteroles with a runny brown liquid at the bottom of the dish were awful and the cream inside was still icy, proving that they were not fresh.AVOID this restaurant at all costs - even if you are desperate.and the price was excessive.We tried the breakfast in the morning as it was a different chef - slightly better but NOT worth the £8+ cost each !

The check in was friendly and the rooms are functional but the restuarant was a complete joke! a table pre-booked for six people for 7.30 was not available until 8.15 when you've got four hungry kids that's a long wait. Then the service was so slow and inaccurate with several dishes wrong and drinks mixed up! And the best bit was the bill which was presented to me as £115 just as well I check these things as not only had they added someone else's bar bill they had charged me twice for the same bottle of wine, the staff were indifferent to say the least. Sorry Premier Inn this was my first and last visit to you as that ruined the whole experience
