Thunderbird Fried Chicken in City of London, Westminster

Epic wait for order even though the place was all but empty. Fries were stale and had clearly been left around before serving. Wings were minuscule and didn’t taste good. Tables hadn’t been wiped and were greasy. Overall worse than my local chicken shop and 3 times the price.

Ordered some as reviews looked good but was so disappointed. Maybe they’ve changed something or just bad luck. It was So tasteless and weird slimy texture on the fried chicken and the Korean wings are rubbery. Not going back!

We came for lunch. We choose korean style wings and naked wings. The wings were not properly prepared with some thicker parts suspiciously not cooked. The korean wings were drenched in orange sauce so there was nowhere to hold them and they only tasted of orange. Disappointing.

Fabulous The best food ever 😋 We stayed at southview park in skegness and visited here most nights 🙈 We usually try different places but after we got our first meal here we were so looking forward to our meal the next day 🤣🤣 If you haven't been here you need to visit Please open a site in scotland 🤣🤣 the prices are very reasonable and loads on the menu to choose from ,over the week we were served with lovely staff I think there names were lee Daniel and alfy they were very kind and went through the menu with us we tried different things each night and my little boy absolutely loved the fries , everything is fresh and tastes delicious.our order was ready in no time and the place is spotless 👍

Poor service with inpatient staff, the BBQ flavor sauce tasted weird and only maintains on the wings surface. The taste inside the wings is plain. Overall, underwhelming.

Popped here ahead of a show at the O2, given the high ratings on Google we were hopeful for a tasty meal. Alas, we got 2 tasteless and dry chicken burgers, a box of Korean yuzu chicken wings that were completely over seasoned with orange of all things (not a pleasant taste on a chicken wing) and then the chips were fine but it's hard to get them wrong! Definitely won't be going back and would advise finding a better chicken takeaway for the price.

The fried chicken is really good. Enjoyed the honey gold, gan-jang and pa-dak fried chicken. The housemade dips, french fries and buttermilk biscuits are amazing too.

If you are desperate for a snack to fill your belly then you could do worse than Thunderbird Fried Chicken - but just don't expect something too tasty. Although the menu board offers some enticing flavours, at least my choice, Korean, was anything but Korean. I was stuffed but very much unsatisfied.

The Thunderbird Fried Chicken restaurant in the O2, SE10 0DX. London. A disgrace. I took my children to eat there, we had never eaten there before. We used the machines by the entrance to order the food reason why I did not notice how dirty the place was until I actually walked in properly to wait for the food. While waiting we tried to get a table, but we could not find any clean table, all tables were dirty and greasy, the chairs were dirty too. I started then to notice that the lack of hygiene was evident, the floor was dirty, there was a mess around the bins, the whole place was a disgrace. When our food was ready, we did not feel like eating it, my sons eat some, I just tried it, but I could not eat it, apart from the fact that it was not good, the lack of hygiene around us did not help, so it ended up in the bin. Do not recommend this place at all. Disgusting.

what a fabulous food and tender chicken, I ordered 5 chicken strips with awesome sauce as well as 3 drum sticks. I cannot explain how great they were. Never the less, special thanks for one of the best employee I ever met Jessica which is a great person to represent such restaurant.

Service was so long, when it got to my order, order was different as they run out of things. I wasn’t informed and i payed extra and they apparently couldn’t do anything about it.

The chicken tenders were fresh, not greasy. Fries were made to order and drinks were cold. From the time we entered our orders at the kiosk to the time we received them was less than 5 minutes. We were in London for 10 days and stayed not too far away from this location. It was just easy to get to from either the underground or by walking. My husband and I ate here two times (dine in and carry out) and both times the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Tried this place twice now; staff much friendlier yesterday. Westfield is the poor uncle of the branches though: no ‘Wing Wednesday’ or other promos. Stingy of condiments. For over £9 for 3 tenders & fries, I’d expect the chicken to be of a fair size: they were like half tenders. Flavour was nice enough. Smashed these guys a few times at Wingfest: Stratford Westfield needs a shake up to match the rep of Thunderbird.

The staff are really kind and welcoming. Convinced us to eat at the restaurant and we loved it. Would definitely recommend this place.

Me and my Mum met in charing cross for some lunch and decided to come here. everything was normal until two girls dressed in full black wearing black hats came up to us with a sign right over our table rudely demanding we give some of our food to them, our immediate response was they must be homeless but with them sticking their fingers right into our food we had to demand that they leave. afterwards we were in shock as were not used to this happening to us particularly as we were sat inside the restaurant, i then realised i didn't have my phone, after checking in my bag, on the table, and in the restaurant bathroom, it had come to my attention that the two girls who were very in our face were doing that to then take my phone, our next cause of action was to speak to the manager who wasn't available and after explaining to a member of staff my phone had been stolen they replied saying it happens all the time!! This is truly unacceptable and proves that staff have no means to change what is happening there, there should be posters written and someone making sure they don't come back, so in conclusion do not step foot in here, I have now lost my very expensive new phone.

Rude staff who use gang style attitude with approach of numbers in your face and the food isn't great either as staff have poor training abd their food is poor standard too

A little of a step up from typical fast food prices. 🔻 I had: Chipuffalo wings, Tater Tots, Habanero wings, Detroit Hot Honey wings 🔻 Food: Chipuffalo wings won WingFest, voted as the best Buffalo wings in London and i can see why. Chipuffalo is a combination of Chipotle and buffalo sauce and its absolutely incredible. Habanero wings were fantastic, a little too saucy maybe but the spice level and creamy pepper cream was spot on. lastly Detroit Hot honey was my favourite.
