3rd time visiting yet never fails to disappoint. The service from Ant was amazing, very attentive and pleasant waiter who sorted the whole night out for us. This time me and my girlfriend visited for our anniversary meal and we were suprised with a slate at the end of the meal congratulating us both. Will be visiting again for certain!

Visited a couple of times on the last 8 weeks. Food is very good. Excellent choice on menu with a separate pizza kitchen. Our only gripe is the room on and around the tables. They seem to pack in as many papayas possible so there really is no privacy. It really is a bit of a squeeze and makes the whole visit uncomfortable.

Came with work colleagues, one of whom was vegetarian, shared small plates, cocktails 🍸 are lovely, really good prices, service is quick.

Such a lovely atmosphere. Our server Ant was amazing, nothing was too much for him to do! Always smiling and happy to be there.

Excellent service from Callam. Love this place!

Disappointing. The building is fantastic to look at, inside and out. However the bright pink low level lights are blinding when seated at table. 30 min wait for drinks only to be told 2 of the choices weren't available..... Took 30 mins to realise and or inform us? Food was ok. It was table service but you have to pay on the app?? And of course the bill was wrong so had to try to catch member of staff to rectify the bill before then attempting to pay on the app again......

I met up with a friend here during the week for lunch and it was relatively quiet so we could hold a good conversation. It's not the first time I've been here. On this trip I ate fish and chips, previously I've eaten Mongolian beef with rice. The portion sizes have been good, and the food tasty. I definitely recommend eating here if you're in the area.

This place is incredible the food is wonderful and reasonably priced. The starter was delicious which was followed by fantastic chicken skewer and off course a delicious desert. They have plenty of choice enough to keep everyone happy. Definitely recommend!!

We are a family of 5, and we all absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so cosy and warm! All the staff are super friendly and always ask for allergies. Great free car park and lovely cocktails and mocktails for the children.

A real gem, didn’t know what to expect but very good food, service was the best I have received in a long time. Great selection of beers and 0% on draft. Really can’t recommend this place enough.

Great choice of cocktails. Food is amazing with great portions. Decor is amazing, book the upstairs room for a lovley setting. Breakfast with Santa 2024 was much improved over the previous year and a great experience for kids. One of my fav local restaurants

Very good Christmas dinner, delicious. There were 8 of us and paying was a nightmare. They don't accept cash (only for tips) and the apps on the table that you use to pay were rubbish. Might not go in a crowd again for that reason. They need to sort it out. Spoilt the night

Took my farther for his 89 birthday but was spoilt by 2 large groups of well lubricated men at the next table who’s language was not acceptable for a so called family restaurant. It was shocking that at no point the manager stepped in to control the language or control the number of shots repeatedly given to the table which made the language louder and more blue. I confronted the manager in a calm and controlled manner whose reply was “please stop shouting and let me talk”( I think it was his default reply to difficult situations) personally he is a spineless manager who I feel is only interested in profits and not customer satisfaction!

Stopped by after a hike, and we were absolutely blown away by the food and service. Felt very welcome and loved everything we ordered, cooked to perfection. Thank you for a brilliant lunch 🥰

Service excellent and atmosphere good. Food was not good. Portion size was off putting! Chicken was tough. Steak on skewer was overdone and vegetable portions on skewers were over sized. Food came out very quickly after each course which suggests portions are cooked before hand. Cannot say they were microwaved as food was not as warm as we would expect. Would definetly not go again

Fantastic venue. Very nicely decorated. The food was great. And the staff members serving us fantastic even remembering our names.. love the quirky and imaginative cocktail drinks. It's nice to see somewhere making an effort to be a little different. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming again. There is plenty of parking with wide disabled bays right near the entrance.

How exciting to see a menu with different choices of meals. Very generous portions, beautifully presented. Service was unobtrusive but extremely attentive - congratulations.

This outstanding public house is situated a 5 minutes drive from the A5 and we visited for lunch. Car park seemed a bit tight but managed OK. The first thing that grabbed us was the interior of this gorgeous pub, beautiful decor and everywhere seemed very clean. We were quickly seated and orders taken by a fabulous waitress who explained many dishes in detail and went back and forth to find out when she didn't know. We ended up having the hanging skewers, chicken with onions and peppers with spicy chips.... I had the spicy skewers which were absolutely delicious. We started with the chicken bao bun which was lovely. It is a great shame that this pub is so far away because even visiting for a few drinks would be a regular thing, lovely place. Great food, great service in excellent surroundings but it gets very busy! Worth a visit.

The best garlic bread on the planet and they are also very welcoming of our little puppy which we like. Keep up the good work guys! The app is also by far the best restaurant app out there!

We’ve been going to this chain for many many years, usually The swan at Walton but of late, The three tuns Lichfield. Very disappointed tonight. A shared pizza was burnt on the base & that was all you could taste. Staff were very good in dealing with our complaint & didn’t hesitate to replace it, but 2nd pizza wasn’t up to standard but better. Staff made excuses that someone had to step into the absent of usual pizza chef , but that’s not an acceptable explanation as it overall wasn’t enjoyable so we won’t be dining there again, which is a shame as it’s spoilt it for us.

Went for a birthday dinner, starters were good main course was quite poor the Steak skewers were well over cooked and the haloumi wasn't the best. Also had a nightmare trying to pay wasted atleast 15 minutes of the night as had to scan the table but because there was no signal inside the building the text code from the bank wouldn't send.

Had a lovely visit to celebrate our anniversary, food was beautiful as always and the best cocktails. I didn’t think the service could get any better but it certainly did, Ant was so friendly and did not stop all night ,made sure we had everything we need and even gave us a lovely little surprise at the end. Hope to return soon!

Had a great experience here at the Three Tuns. The service was excellent. Large selections of food to choose from and taste was good. Only wish is for the food to be a bit hotter when it reaches the table. Would come here again.

This was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had (in a pub or restaurant of any kind). The menu was imaginative and enormous and yet at the very reasonable prices I was expecting the results would still be fairly normal pub food. I was so wrong ‒ there was an incredible flair and attention to detail with the cooking and presentation. Our server Matt was a joy and genuinely made the experience even better with his attentiveness and the fact that you could tell he clearly loved his job and the pub itself. There was a huge range of beers from around the world on tap, and the cocktails my friends had looked amazing. I went here as the end of a small stag do and it was a perfect way to round off the day, the staff even brought me a little amuse bouche with the words ‘Don’t do it’ written on a slate in chocolate sauce, which was unexpected and hilarious. The atmosphere was gorgeous and just right for any occasion or just a great meal out. Three words: you should go!

Staff friendly and attentive. Made children feel included too. Portion sizes vary, a side of garlic bread was a massive naan which would have fed 4. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely but in my opinion didn't need the popcorn or a miniature bottle of baileys shoved in the pudding. It's lovely the way dishes are served quirky or not run of the mill, but we'd have been happy with the option of custard or ice cream. Definitely worth a visit. Praise to staff who made the experience exceptional.

Came here with the other half for our date night. He booked in advance and it was beautiful. The food was nice and filling and at a great price too. However when we first entered and asked about allergies I told them and they still gave me food containing egg which lead me to being sick for the rest of the day.

Fabulous it was my friend 🧡 40th birthday mine last Monday and we were treated to a surprise pudding with happy birthday in powder on a board xxfood staff were wonderful 😀

The bbq chicken and bacon was amazing but the red onions were not tasty no seasoning, it needs to be cooked more with proper flavour. The chips were OK but they taste like mash, too big and they are not the best quality. The james white fruit juices were the best. Ella was amazing she had the best customer service skills on the team 👏 🙌 😍 👌 She was amazing and did all the work by looking after her customers. Other staff were OK but need to be more happy with a big smile on there faces. One of the staff members gave my Nephew a high chair which was good. The food was too pricey and needs to be cheaper and the food needs to improve on flavours.

The staff are awful. They don’t care and have no initiative. Dirty table that was never cleared from the previous customers and drinks ordered on the app were left on the bar going flat for 20 minutes. Really disappointing experience and unfortunately it’s not the first time. ☹️

All my wife and I did was call in for a drink. It was a Wednesday afternoon, so it wasn't exactly heaving with customers. That said, the layout and furnishings were top drawer, and the service and drinks on offer were as good as we have seen.

One of the best pub experiences I've ever had. All staff were outstanding. Our waitress (Elena?) checked with us multiple times to ensure we were happy with the food. Top quality food and service. Thank you 😊

Arrived to the restaurant earlier than our booking so we could have drinks at the bar. Booked the table for 9:15pm and we arrived 8:45pm. The man working front of house checked us in and said to have a drink at the bar and will call us over when the table was ready. It came to 9:30 and and nobody came over to us. Couldnt find the man working front of house for about 10 minutes and then finally the barman asked if there was anything he could help with. We let him know we’d been waiting for our table for a long time and he went and found the person in charge. He finally came over and said i’m very sorry I forgot you were waiting for a table. We overheard the barman tell the kitchen staff to not shut the kitchen as there was still a table to be seated as it was 9:45pm by this point. We got seated in the upstairs area - Blossom room, which i’m assuming they put us there to make up for forgetting about us. Finally we ordered food. Starterts came out fine and was nice and then mains is where it went downhill again. I ordered a Pizza which came out fine and was nice, however my friends food didnt come out until 20-25 minutes after mine, which was a rice bowl with beef. By this time we had both lost our appetite and didnt want to finish our food.. Oh and not to forget they bought over the dish with no cutlery or napkins! Poor service. Probably wouldnt attend again.

My partner and I come here fairly often and we absolutely love it. Every single staff member today was so smiley and friendly. Our waitress i think her name was Elara (i’m so sorry if i got it wrong) was so lovely and made our anniversary dinner extra special! Will always recommend it to anyone

Booked a table in the blossom tree restaurant. Waiter kept walking past and looking over at our table, tried to call him over a few times and the waiter kept wondering off. In the end I called a waitress over and explained we had been waiting for over 30 minutes just to even get a drinks order taken. Ordered food at the same time, food then came before our drinks. And ruined the experience to be honest. Have always recommended this restaurant to others, however won’t be moving forward and won’t be returning. Food however was nice, shame the service has gone downhill.

Warm, relaxing atmosphere that isn't too formal, with professional, friendly staff. The food was excellent. Good sized portions, more than we expected. Lots of choice, very fresh. Also lots of choice of drinks, including mocktails, which was nice. Would definitely recommend.

Firstly food was excellent . Booking a table for this chain is terrible. Eventually had to get on to live chat as the online booking kept failing. Also payment of bill. No cash accepted. Credit card is frowned on and have to queue at the bar to pay. You have to use your phone at the table.

Just visited for the first time and we were really impressed. I had been looking around for somewhere to eat for me and my husband and the thing that drew me to this restaurant was the interesting menu. There's much more choice and more exciting food than at a lot of other similar venues. I also really liked the way they have pictures on their website that show the dishes. Everything we ordered was lovely (Cheesey garlic pizza bread, small yakitori sticks, trio of burgers, posh chips and the apple gyoza). We've not been anywhere for ages where every item of food was delicious! Chips are really lovely and not the samey fries you get in most places. We will definitely come back another time.

Food was amazing! Pizza's are massive. The only issue we had was waiting to be seated. You have to queue basically across the bar meaning there's no space for people to order drinks. They need another person showing people to their tables. Poor manager was definatley getting his steps in.

Probably one of the most chilled, welcoming pubs I've dined at in the past ten years.Conveniently located,plenty of parking,disabled too. The views of the Staffordshire countryside whilst you dine are amazing. The rustic layout inside is brilliantly done from reclaimed timber and the staff are readily eager to help. The food is top-notch at a fair price with something for all tastes. Myself and my family will hopefully dine there for years to come! Well done Three Tuns Lichfield 💯

Disappointing that you constantly cause inconvenience and delays to 100’s of cars while you block the main road outside with your deliveries especially when you have an empty car park 10 meters away, for this reason I shall not be visiting and I can’t be the only one who is annoyed by this, seems a little selfish to put everyone else out

Was taken for lunch as a birthday treat. It was my first visit. My son told me to get there early as you can not book bar tables, and this is the only part of the building that allows dogs. Thank goodness we got there early!! As the doors opened at 12 (it was a Saturday), the place filled up within 15 minutes. Lots of dogs!! Elsewhere in the pub you can prebook tables. Inside the pub is full of old wood and is snug and comfortable. Outside, the views are lovely with plenty of parking. The service was attentive and friendly. I was introduced to the cocktail menu, and this was extensive and fun (they do a bathtub with ducks.... 😂) The food menu had all the usual things (steaks. Burgers, etc) but also some unusual things (Bao buns and yakitori sticks), the food came in a timely manner even though I could see how extremely busy the kitchen was, and it was good. I had a pulled pork bun... delicious, and the chips were thick cut and tasted triple fried. Prices were very reasonable, as opposed to any other pub, but particularly given the quality of the food. I would return there, even though it is a bit of a drive for me. It's definitely worth a visit!! Xx

Nice outdoor area to sit on a sunny day overlooking the countryside. Very stodgy menu, everything appears to have chips, rice or bread. Couldn't find a salad option.

We were recommended the three tuns by a family member and went over one afternoon, we had the fish and chips, our son had pizza and it was absolutely lovely. We went over again tonight, the 2 older children had pizza and was lovely, my partner and I had the Mongolian beef and although it was lovely, it was quite possibly the smallest dinner I've ever been served in a pub at £16 each it was like a starter, we actually order another pizza to share, the 2 together are realistically one portion and I don't eat big dinners. 1 other gripe. We sat outside in a booth for a change, the table was so sticky we asked for some spray and cloth to clean it.
