Three Restaurant & Bar in Barnet

I was shopping at Brent Cross so popped into this place for lunch as they had a few empty tables unlike the other nearby eateries. I was seated promptly by a pleasant man whose name I think is Paul. After being seated for some time no-one came to take my order so I summoned a waitress. Another waitress by the name of Khushbu came to take my order. She appeared at my table with no smile, no greeting or even asking what I would like. It was as if I was an inconvenience to her instead of being a paying customer! She just stood there like a statue. I told her that I wanted calamari and mineral water. The calamari arrived very promptly but when I noted how small the portion was I ordered a side order of fries with ketchup. The ketchup was brought to the table promptly. I ate 4 pieces of calamari but there was no sign of my water. Bearing in mind that I did not order a hot drink there was no excuse for the delay. In almost all restaurants I have been to, the drinks arrive before the food. I went to the counter to fetch it myself, again meeting Khushbu, who this time muttered some unintelligible excuse for the non-arrival of my water which simply had to be taken out of a fridge and poured into a glass! The chips were then brought to my table by another waitress who spilled them on the table. This was of course an accident and she apologised, and said she would order another portion for me. She disappeared, however, with the spilled chips remaining on the table. Maybe she was cooking the new chips?! I eventually had to summon Paul to clean it up. With the exception of Paul, the staff were untrained. The waitress who dropped the chips appeared new and Khushbu was unprofessional to say the least. Her lack of customer service / social skills should surely disallow her from working with customers. The food itself was OK, although the portion of calamari was very small. I asked Paul for the bill and was bemused to find a 'discretionary' service charge added on! I told him that I would not be paying a service charge which he understood and waived. This establishment has no right to add on any service charge for its woefully bad service. If anything, I should have received a partial refund since I had such a poor experience. I've given it 2 stars instead of 1 only because of Paul. If he had not been there I would have asked for a refund. Whilst I was there I read the dismal Google reviews about the place. Management should be ashamed of themselves.

I had to write after my lunch today which I’m pretty sure was made by a 6 year old. It was supposed to be potato latkes with sour cream and smoked salmon. The Potato Latkes were unrecognisable as such, they were wafer thin, tasteless and circular in shape. Unbelievably bad. Won’t be returning.

Good breakfast. A bit hard to find if you’ve never been to the shopping centre before. Service was OK, food was very good. We both had the breakfast which was £11, portion wasn’t very big at all, however it was very tasty. Would go back if we were ever in the area again.

Staff friendly . Great location in fenwicks top floor . Good value my sea bream was delicious . Only thing was the onion rings were rather greasy

We were looking for a place to eat in Brent Cross shopping centre and thought we would try inside Fenwicks where we found this place sandwiched in between Patisserie Valerie and Nero. The menu looked interesting. We went for a fish and chips as well as latkes and smoked salmon to share. The fish was excellent quality and the batter was thin and crisp, the chips were ultra crunchy if a little greasy. The mushy peas were good and the tartare sauce was nice quality. The latkes were a little thin but were pleasant and the salmon was nice quality but I would have liked a bit more. Our coffee was very nice quality. Service was efficient and friendly. Overall it was rather expensive especially the latkes.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I only gave one star as it was a requirement to write a review. My daughter and I visited Three today for breakfast. We both ordered the Avocado, Lime and Chilli on Toast priced at £8.50. In addition, I ordered a poached egg on the side. We also ordered two coffees; my daughter asked for almond milk instead of dairy milk. Our food came quickly - my avocado was brown and we both thought it was bland without flavour. I asked the manager if the avocado was fresh and explained it was discoloured and had no flavour whatsoever. He said they make batch of avocado for the whole day which is why some of it was brown (my daughters looked fresh and green). He explanation was ‘it is more guacamole than avocado’ and said it has to be suitable for everyone so they do not use a lot of lime and chilli. I suggested they should advertise it as ‘Guacamole on toast’ rather than ‘Avocado, Chilli and Lime on Toast’. I pointed out that my daughter had eggs on her plate that she didn’t ask for as she is vegan but he said she ‘could just have them’. He clearly didn’t understand what vegan is. He did not care about any of the things I said and just shrugged his shoulders unapologetically. I asked when our drinks would be ready as they were ordered at the same time at the food and he said they would be ‘along soon’. Another 10 minutes went past, the waitress was talking to a friend and the manager was looking at his laptop with an espresso. I had to ask for our drinks again; at this point we had finished as much of the food as we were going to eat and had been waiting for a considerable amount of time. Both drinks arrived and both were made with almond milk; they were unable to get a simple coffee order right. I then paid £25 for the whole sorry visit. Visit at your own risk! I have attempted to contact their head office but I can’t find one listed.

I’m customer of the restaurant for long time I need to say from last couple of months the new manager started the restaurant looks and food quality very improvements and the staff look very happy.

Today we visit the restaurant my kids like to have breakfast but breakfast time finish I ask manger can my kids have breakfast and he said time is finish but I’ll make for them the have amazing staff and very friendly Food quality good and very fresh…

We were served by a lovely friendly waitress and then a very pleasant young guy who apparently was training however the manager obviously needs retraining in people and management skills as we witnessed him talking to his staff in an extremely poor manner in the middle of the restaurant in ear shot of customers, to humiliate staff in this way is not on! We waited over half an hour for our food and other customers had said they were waiting longer, although once it did arrive it was nice and well presented.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The manager is the rudest, most unprofessional and incompetent man I have ever come across! Poorly managed restaurant and the food was completely average. I will never be coming to this restaurant again and would encourage others to avoid. At least three other tables were also complaining about the service.

This place is great for lunch. Extensive menu and the food is consistently good. I normally have the avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon. Definitely recommend.

Today I visited this restaurant/cafe and left so angry and upset I cannot stress to explain my experience. We ordered coffee and some fries as we had also purchased some pastries the waitress named Rosemary questioned why we was only order coffees and fries at lunch hour while there’s other people queuing for a table! Not only I was shocked I couldn’t understand why I would have to order more then what I was to be able to sit there, I asked if there was a policy that we wasn’t aware of, but instead she spoke down at us and said you are ordering only coffees and fries to sit down, questioning why we wasn’t ordering anything more.. at this point what I couldn’t understand is I could be only ordering a water at the end of the day I’m a paying customer. She totally embarrassed us around other sitting customers so we said ok you can add some toast to the order but we was not hungry but would order it anyway, she then said we can’t order toast during lunch hours and with an attitude told us she will serve us anyway? Not only did she talk down to us but discriminated us. I’m sorry but we are a paying customer regardless of how much we are spending and it is so inappropriate for a staff member to speak to a customer this way not only was I with a friend but my two year old baby.. we ended up cancelling the order and leaving. I will never ever be returning to this place with the worst staff member (rosemary) who has no respect to be able to talk down at people this way!!! Disgusting attitude!! This restaurant really needs to train there staff some respect!!! I am shocked at how a staff member can treat customers this way to put pressure on them to order more food! Disrespectful manners!!!

Worst experience I have ever had in my life. We wanted to order fries and coffee but was told in a very patronising way that there are other customers waiting to sit at a table (basically the staff member was telling us we weren’t spending enough to deserve the seats). She said we have customers waiting in the queue and you want to order only fries and coffee. Embarrassing us to other people. I have worked in a coffee shop and no matter what the customer is spending everyone should be treated equally and not discriminated based on their spend! The worst part of it is she can see we had a baby with us and it was lunch time where we wanted to take a quick break stop. She made a few more comments that she will still serve us and she said it with attitude which left me and my cousin very confused and upset. It was not like we asked for tap water and wasnt paying for the service. My cousin later went to make a complaint and she mentioned her name was Rosemary. I will never ever be going back to this place where you are discriminated based on your spend. If this is the attitude your staff members are going to give you need to make a policy then with a minimum spend cap! As you dont have a policy. Never returning here again.

Every time I visit Brent Cross I visit this spacious eatery. The food is freshly made and brilliantly decorated presented. The staff are so kind and friendly, like when I asked for a 2nd scoop of ice cream with my deep apple pie (which I would highly recommend) the waitress was happy to provide me with, with no extra charge. The decor is modern yet homely and they have a window that has beautiful views of Brent cross area. One of my favourite restaurants.

I reluctantly agreed when a friend pushed me into trying this restaurant once. Everytime I have been previously, at least one thing has to be returned o the kitchen. When I went with friends a few weeks ago, one friend sent back her cappucino which under the froth looked like mud. All four of us sen the food back as it was luke warm. The yolks on the egg benedict were hard. There were seven of us today, again the food was luke warm, an omelette was sent back because it was almost raw inside and I had to ask three times for my diet coke. When eggs on toast are ordered, the pieces are so small, it looks liketwo halves of one slice of bread

Had lunch here with my daughter. Service very friendly. Food good and you get a nice little biscuit with your tea/coffee. Would definitely return.

Vegetarian options are a little limited, but the roasted veg pasta was good and the garlic bread was ok as it was quite carby. It is a nice quiet spot to catch some lunch compared to the busier food court in Brent Cross.

Please be aware you may not get caesar dressing on your chicken caesar salad. Whatever it was it was not caesar salad dressing not sure who prepares food but should know the ingredients required.

Llegó para un almuerzo tardío y encontró el lugar ocupado.Uno de nosotros encontró varias opciones de menú, aunque el otro lo encontró limitado, pero en ambos casos la comida era bastante buena.El servicio fue encantador y eficiente, pero una ensalada que fue solicitada sin aceitunas vino con ellos y tuvo que ser re-hecha. ¿Se trata de un problema del servidor o de la cocina? No lo sé.

Muy caro y la calidad de la comida es peor que en cafés turcos. El huevo no estaba bien cocido, fila blanca que era asquerosa. El tocino es muy correoso y duro. Las setas estaban fuera de una lata. Las rodajas de tomates estaban picadas y tenían un sabor muy malo a aceite de quemado poco fiable, no era aceite de flor de sol o aceite de oliva, más que en otros lugares. Los únicos alimentos comestibles en el plato fueron la salchicha y los dos eslovenos de pan tostado y mantequilla. Nunca volveré allí. Dos desayunos ingleses y agua y coca cola llegaron a casi 24.

Siempre soy escéptico acerca de los restaurantes en los grandes almacenes, pero el nuevo en Fenwicks Brent Cross es realmente bueno.El personal era muy agradable y la comida es excelente. Teníamos los pasteles de pescado y la hamburguesa de pollo y ambos eran frescos, calientes y muy sabrosos.Además, los desayunos parecían realmente buenos, pero los panqueques eran un poco de una pequeña porción de lo que pudimos ver.Bien vale la pena intentarlo

Después de un largo día de compras de café con un amigo que tengo la cena aquí recto mucho antes. Siempre un reto para encontrar una opción vegetariana. . . Noreen explicó en detalle las diferentes opciones para mí cuando me explicó lo que quería sugirió un plato la berenjena y fue genial. Ella es tan amable atento y conocedor ¿por qué no otros lugares tienen personas como ella. . . .Hicieron mi día. Noreen. gracias :).

Salió aquí para un almuerzo informal en mi propio y pedimos Sopa con pan y la sopa estaba bien pero el pan rebanado para ser poco seca. El pescado y las patatas fritas era bueno me gustó la piel de las patatas fritas. El pescado estaba mojada, pasta fresca. La col era extraño ya que era sólo en rojo, no hay zanahoria repollo u otras verduras. Como bueno, agradable ver una sonrisa viene a la mesa. Recomendaría este.

A late brunch 1130 am - full english ordered - watery mushrooms straight from the wholesalers - totally solid poached eggs - how difficult is that for a cook NOT obviously a chef

Only had aftrenoon tea but my impression is good. Nice staff, good efficient service and fessh food.

We are regular visitors here. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive and very tasty and they don't mind your sharing. Well worth a visit for breakfast lunch afternoon tea or dinner

Always have lunch here when I visit Brent Cross Shopping Centre - they have the best salt beef sandwiches I have found - after years of searching!! The fish and chips are also very good.

O shopping oferece diversas opções, mas este restaurante pode ser algo bem agradável. Fica dentro de uma das lojas de departamentos. Bom para um café ou lanche rápido.

We often have lunch at this restaurant as this is close to home. Staff is very friendly as we are a regular customer. The choice for lunch is good from light to filling.

Regular visitor to fenwicks, excellent stop for lunch and coffee without having to leave the store. Great selection of all day breakfasts, sandwiches, salads snd burgers. Quick efficient service and staff are polite and professional you'd think you were in central London!

I visited this restaurant located on the third floor of the Bentalls Department Store and was a little disappointed. Décor was fine, lots of seating, nice view of the centre. However upon entering the restaurant at 0900 I was hit by a strong smell of garlic from the pizza oven, not something I want at this hour of the morning. It was very off putting as much as I love garlic. I had a Danish pastry and a decaf cappuccino. Both were fine. The pastry was expensive (just over £3 I think?) but it was far, far too large, it would have been ideal for 2 to share, having said that, it was delicious. The coffee was just OK, small cup, not hot enough, bit weak. There was only one other customer so not much atmosphere. Staff were helpful. Premises very clean. Plenty of comfortable seating. I chose this venue for its convenience and the fact that it was open at 0900 whereas John Lewis does not open until 0930 and I was on my way to a hairdressing appointment. Next time it will be back to Café Nero for me for breakfast but I may give it a try for lunch as there appeared to be a good variety of different types of food on offer.

Wonderful service, we didn't make it easy for them, one wanted a salad, another breakfast with brown toast instead of muffins and no holandaise sauce and the other wanted lunch with all the trimmings. They got everything right, even the coffee which was a latte with no froth. The service was very friendly and although there was a bit of a delay with one of the dishes they apologised so much that it was forgotten as soon as we started eating. It's a good option if you're shopping in Brent Cross. The most difficult part is leaving without popping next door to get a slice of cake.

Visited this restaurant located within the Fenwick department store in Brent Cross Shopping Centre for an evening meal. Service was excellent, as was the food and the drink. For a restaurant in a department store, it had a great ambience. Would certainly eat here again.
