I’ve been going to El Bazaar for a decade. And there is no place I’d rather go to. Get your self a delicious Honey Cake and Ice Cream and a Shisha and have a great evening

We had a brilliant experience in this place, the service and the management is so much better than before, I would most definitely recommend a visit.

They had an all you can eat Sri Lankan night and had the best aubergines in town. Yummy! Will come again 🤙🏾

The customer service was awful. As a group we waited a lot so I asked when we will be served, he then responded in a rude, mockery way. We then decided to leave and walk 5mins towards Nawroz Lounge. I'd highly recommend that place instead.

I had a brilliant experience here over the winter break. AJ is an absolute star and make the place feel like home. I would most definately reccomend a visit. Food A* Service A****** Shisha A**************************** See you guys soon. All the best, M

Asked for a mix of flavours Apple and Grape in one pipe ... Charged us 30 quid ... Not going back ... Service was too slow also.

Very chill and great customer service.

I came here with a a few friends at around 4pm and the place was empty. We said we wanted a seat and he was saying that they were full, I looked around and was like really and asked if we could have a seat at an empty table outside which he didn’t seem to happy about. The server never really acknowledged us he just communicated by grunting and would briefly listen to our shisha orders without replying. I wouldn’t return again.

There were customers smoking weed indoors lol

Customer service was shockingly bad, was told there where no tables free when only 1 person was in there. I suspect the server couldn’t be bothered to serve us, very bad service, the basic flavours of shisha where not worth the £16 as they didn’t taste of much. No communication whatsoever, just some dirty looks, and grunts. never going back again

One evening a year ago; me and Yvonne wanted a cup of tea each and although they only 2 couples sitting down, the waiter was very rude and refused to serve us. I wasn't rude, I don't see how my money is different to the few customers they had in, also they block the hearing aid shop

Amazing Shisha place that has been at the heart Finchley for 10 years , great Shisha for good value for Money, can always rely on going to Elbaz for a relaxing night. Mohammed & Abdul are always friendly and go above/beyond for me and my friends! Really recommend going Elbaz for a traditional Shisha

Amazing traditional lounge with great shisha, food and drink. Staff are always attentive and make sure the experience is always first class. Highly recommend a visit...great value!

Good choice of shisha flavours and great customer service from both Mohummed and Abdul. They also have good choices of food and drink (both hot and cold). An established shisha bar that has been around for around 10 years! Would recommend the trip to this place.

The manager can't even look at you in the eyes when he is talking to you. It's a joke + doesn't he know smiling is free? Would NOT recommend at all!!!

Only giving one star for the shisha and tea because those were the only good things about this place. Absolutely appalled by their customer service skills - the staff were unable to split bills between a few of my friends and they overcharged my partner by £20. When my friend tried to rectify the situation, the manager was rude and somehow my partner was only refunded £10 back (he wasn't sure how much he was due back). I wouldn't recommend if you are going with friends and want to split the bill.

Basic Shisha flavours are 10/10. Starbuzz dies out fast. Food and the ambience is fantastic. Really good pricing and good music too!

Is this place still open? Last time we looked it was was closed. Summer 2017. Used to go here. Used to like it.

Fui aquí con algunas de mis amigas. No nos recibieron y nos dejaron preguntándonos. El hombre grosero tardó entre 10 y 15 minutos en tomar nuestro pedido y nos mostró su actitud y respondió a nuestras preguntas con una palabra. Se negó incluso a mirarnos a los ojos. Horrible servicio horrible! ! ! El lugar estaba incluso sucio con hormigas arrastrándose en los asientos y no se seguían las pautas de COVID. Ahórrese el dolor de corazón y no arriesgue su salud viniendo a este repugnante lugar de un “shisha bar”.

Great location and comfy seats under the heater - but the service was shocking. So unfriendly and so unhelpful. We kept having to ask for more coal as it appeared they were only replenishing that of their friends without even checking to see if ours had turned to ash (which it had). Even when we asked for more, everything seemed like a chore for them - EXTREMELY rude. We finished eating (Halloumi wrap was tasty!) and they did not remove our plates until we were ready to leave about 2 hours later! I would not go back, so many other shisha places in the surrounding are with better food and FAR better service.

This place is amazing, I always look forward to my avocado and feta salad. It's my favourite salad in the whole world! Sooo tasty and full of goodness! The staff are always lovely aswell, especially Muhammed.

Pleasant ambience, although the outdoor heaters are way too hot and the service on the day we visited (Wednesday 9pm) was rather slow. Has a tv to show football/music videos. Decent menu offerings but lacks chips (which I am told seems to be a mainstay of shisha restaurants).

Soy un cliente habitual que va a este lugar de shisha casi todos los días, nunca he tenido un problema antes, pero hoy fui abusado verbalmente por uno de los nuevos miembros del personal que no solo me faltó el respeto, sino que me gritó delante de todos los que estaban sentados. Estoy completamente atorado de que podrían emplear personal tan maleducado Y ya no iré allí más. Muy decepcionado de cómo me trataron con un cliente muy fiel a este lugar.

Great place, Great shisha, tea was expensive though... 8 pounds.

Shisha and drinks were good. Service at the time we went wasnt great (a bit unnecessarily slow) but would definitely go again

Absolutely terrible service two ignorant unpleasant men who know nothing about a good customer service. Asked for a drink THREE times then just ended up leaving anyway. P.s Shisha was so bad it plainly tasted of smoking charcoal. I ADVISE YOU DO NOT VISIT HERE!

Para un lugar local tiene una buena selección para Sisha y aunque no fumo, sí voy con gente que lo hace y es un lugar agradable y relajante con mucho espacio y nunca demasiado lleno. Personal amable y trato de ayudar lo mejor que puedan. Sin embargo, la comida no es nada especial, así que diría que principalmente un lugar para Sisha y algunos bocadillos.

Looks nice but average food. Service is not friendly and was rudely advised that its £15 just to sit down, even when it wasn't busy. Could be quite embarrassing if you went their first time with someone. Shame!!

It was very cold and we decided to step into this restaurant as it looks warm. It was comforting as the temperature inside not too hot. Good tea. Ordered shawarma. Not good and not bad

The place is a joke, the food is absolutely disgusting, they charge you £10-£15 to sit outside ( I kid you not). They always over charge you if you don't know the exact price of your order.. they dont speak English so its very difficult to understand them.. All in all heed my warnings and stay well clear away from this place.. the servce is beyond disgusting..

Beautiful decoration, friendly staff and nice place to spend time with your friends.

I have just recently moved into the area and my boyfriend came to visit for a few days and we decided to try out El Bazaar. I was apprehensive at first, due to the £15 minimum spend, but realised that some shisha and something to eat covers that price, which was absolutely fine. We got talking to one of the waiters, Mohammad about our interest in visiting his home country of Morocco, due to my boyfriend being of Moroccan descent. Mohammad was so lovely and wonderful, he showed us pictures, spoke to us, recommend places and was just generally so sweet. He then took us inside and let us try on a traditional Moroccan Fez and some other items traditional to that country. The other waiter (whose name I unfortunately didn’t get) was also delightful and so friendly. The shisha was top quality for its price, the waffles we had were tasty and overall, it was a wonderful visit. We will be back again and I will bring my friends.

Best authentic north African lounge in London. The music was on beat, the outdoor seating area creates an open atmosphere. Having sampled sheesha from every corner of London this was very good quality. The morrocan mint tea and salad dressings were of the finest qualities and richest flavours. Friendly and cooperative service. Even the toilet was better than 5* hotels. Interiors and design was so rich cultured and beautiful for the eye and soul!!!!

Love it! Best shisha in London at the moment. The food is great with crepes, waffles and sandwiches and milkshakes - I prefer the chocolate one.Gets full at weekends creating a great atmosphere. And best of all, it's open until 2am weekdays, 3am weekends which is great for me as I finish work late. Highly recommended.

There is a lot of things that I can say about this place but it won't be enough to tell you how much I enjoyed the food and shisha and the atmosphere of this place.

Great place. Love the new look after being refurbished for some time. Its a shame that they have this condition where each person has to spend a minimum of £15.00 to sit down there.

Lovely people best place in london

It's my favourite place in London. Nice atmosphere, always smiling staff, tasty food,nice juices and the best shisha you can find in the area. Really relaxing to spend 1or more hours there alone or with friends. It reminds me the little Egyptian coffee shops which ones I used to frequent when I lived there for 4 years.

Re-furbished with authentic Moroccan interior. Super comfortable even in winter with great heating system. Shisha is the best I've had in the past year usually i smoke Double Apple al Fakher. Snacks including schwarmas, sandwiches, waffles and crepes are all quality. Good staff. My favourite place to chill in North London at the moment.

Great atmosphere! Recently renovated, and looks superb. The outdoor area is well fitted with heated lamps, so you're warm even in the dead of winter, and dry during windy downfalls of rain. Comprehensive selection of teas and flavored shisha. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. My only gripe is that it's a cash-only place.

Awesome service with a very chilled surrounding

Now that this has re-opened, I made a trip to enjoy a drink there. It took a bit of effort, as I'm on crutches at the moment. 3 of us arrived at 9pm and the place had 4 customers, all outside for shisha. As we don't do shisha, we asked for a seat inside, which was empty, but were refused and told that we needed to order one main dish to eat each. It was not possible to go in for just coffee - and a cake didn't count as a dish. I could see a reason to enforce this policy if the place was busy. The waiter pointedly emphasised that it was a management policy, seemingly distancing himself from it somewhat. As erstwhile regular customers who had enjoyed many a drink and cake there before its closure, me and my friends left and went to nearby Tehran, where we were welcomed. They've lost good regular customers with a silly, pointless policy.

Walked in and was denied shisha even though i showed my full driving license which clearly shows i am 19 years of age. Refused to serve because they claimed it was fake ID however refused to tell us the real reason as all of us displayed licenses. Awful place, awful workers. Would not recommend one bit.

Closed for several months now for "refurbishment" but allegedly zero cash flow is available to get it to re-open. Long term prospects? Poor........

When we lived in Finchley we often went to El Bazaar to relax. The shisha and tea were always nice and the food was really good too. The food options are all for lunch or snacks. The staff were friendly and chatty. We would highly recommend.

During my 5 night stay in Finchley Central / North London from 23/07/16 I called into EL BAZAAR remembering calling in during previous stays in North London. Firstly EL BAZAAR is only a 5 min walk from Finchley Central Tube Station. I called in late afternoon on Saturday 23/07/16 and made welcome, decided to sit outside an undercover area where your able to smoke cigarettes or smoke SHISHA & I just ordered one Cappuccino & paid GBP 2:30. A couple of days later I called in again on 25/07/16 with another warm welcome from staff, this time decided to sit inside opposite the food bar display for something to eat, ordered toasted sandwiches with some delicious cakes. Earlier advised from one of the male staff that guests aren't allowed to smoke in the outside area from a certain time during the early evening & only guests can smoke SHISHA [ somewhat weird & what's the difference between normal cigarette smokers and those who prefer smoking SHISHA]. Overall a relaxed atmosphere & paid GBP 14.30 for the drink, sandwiches & cakes being very reasonable in price. Very bad service, takes hours for drinks to come. Asked for a heater 5 times nothing came whilst I was shivering, a group of lady's come in and ask for the heater and it's on straight away! Disgusting

Used to love this place, great atmosphere and good shisha. such a nice place to come and chill out with friends have some tea and a smoke of shisha. The only thing that has ruined this is the lack of customer service, the manager is rude, very arrogant and does not have any customer service skills! Made us feel very unwelcomed, it's a shame as we really enjoyed coming but I doubt we will be returning!

The most discussing shisha we have ever had, dirty stale smelling pipes that leave you with instant sore throat and feeling ill. staff changed the pipe but gave us another which was equally stale and dirty and smelly pipes and hose. No customer service, We strongly recommend you avoid this dive. The biggest waste of money and health damaging product we have ever had. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE,!!!!!
