Friendly pub and always feels welcome

Excellent food and excellent service.

9 of us had Sunday lunch today. A real home cooked dinner with fresh veg and home made gravy, all of us were served together and the food was piping hot and good quality. The service was top class and super friendly staff. We were made to feel really welcome and very well priced. Thank you we will definitely be back.

Nice friendly atmosphere with attentive and welcoming staff. Great selection of food, including an extensive vegan menu. Prices were very reasonable and the premises seemed very inclusive.

Nice place, could do with a better selection of whisky, prices were fair tho. Atmosphere I gave 3 stars but I did come on a Tuesday after work so I expect it to be a bit quiet.

Went for lunch Christmas Eve, there were 12 of us!! We had a fab time!! Food was delicious and an excellent service! All staff were wonderful and catered to our every need! Made my mums birthday very special, she really enjoyed her day out!! We will definitely be back!! Ten out of ten!!!!!

Went for yesterday dinner with some friend. We turkey cooked dinner, fish and chip,all were cooked perfectly, good portions too. Came with plenty of selection of vegetables too. Highly recommended. Great value for money too!!

Atmosphere was so comfortable I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. I'm a fussy steak eater and the steak was cooked to perfection. I asked for changes from the menu and every need was met. The staff couldn't do enough for us, even held my newborn so I could eat my meal! Will definitely be returning xxx

This evening I attended a Christmas meal here and can honestly say I enjoyed every bite. I can be a bit of a food snob and like my vegetables cooked just so. They were delicious, great portions sizes too. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. The building was clean and tidy including the toilets and bar staff were great. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening, will be back soon with the whole family.

Really friendly staff, had a wake here today and we were super impressed with the service and buffet food. Nice pub with a decent size car park and outside area. Good range of drinks too

Went there as we used it as a filming location. The landlord is playing a part in the film, The 7th Man.

It was my first visit. Absolutely tops. Ordered food for myself, my partner, my daughter, and my grandson. The food served was out of this world. Fresh and home made. Quality. There're plenty of comfortable seats and table's inside. Stephen and Mercedes have themselves a fantastic place. Highly recommended. Every part of our visit was wonderful. Even a safe and pleasant play garden for children. Great amount of table and seats outside, too. Carpark has ample space. We will return.

You cannot find a nicer landlord than at the Three Horseshoes. It's become our regular pub and we always feel so welcome!

Came for a meal Friday. We came as a big family and friends with 2 children about 7pm. Food was nice to be fair but we felt no choice but to leave straight after the meal as the music was very loud with a birthday party going on. Terrible music as well. Left with a headache. It ruined the night for us. Fair enough if it was being played at a later time in the evening. We wasn't aware of this when booked the meal. Further more to your response. In no way was we informed there was a party. And it wasn't he average party you would usually have. It was incredibly loud and not a controlled music by a dj. Not child friendly. We sat at the table for half an hour until anybody checked on us to order despite being a booked table. Nobody even checked that we was waiting for someone .

Went for a retirement party, food was cheap party food from some sort of freezer centre, would bring in your own catering people if you have already booked a party.

They seemed friendly enough but they don't serve food 'at the moment' they said.

Haven't been here for a long time although friends come here a lot. The place is under new management and the new landlord seems to be keen to make things work. The place is a lot cleaner and fresher than it has been for a long time but those who made this place less desirable have been given their marching orders. Hopefully the shoes will become a good local again and a place you will be happy to take your kids and meet your friends. Hope it works we will revisit.

Not visited for a long time due to various issues going on up the pub but there is now a new landlord with different values and wants to change things. The atmosphere was very good due to only about 12 to 15 people being in the bar. But you have to start from some where. Will encourage my family and friends to visit over summer as the new landlord certainly need a chance to built the pub up again . Bar staff was friendly aswell

Excellent Sunday lunch for 11. Food tastesd great just like a Sunday lunch at your grans. Loads of beg, tasty gravy and great staff.

Fantastic atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, rugby on the telly (obviously it’s Wales) and the bar staff are so friendly. The locals are welcoming and a great laugh.

Prices are expensive for local pub

Usually have a sub-commettee here as midweek it it quiet. They have a lovely function room upstairs that can be hired.

First time here for Sunday lunch. It was gorgeous, I will definitely be returning (probably next week). My son wants to go back just for the staff 😂

I booked the function room for a reception after a funeral. Donna/Molly and staff were so helpful and friendly they couldn't do enough to help. Buffet was lovely, great variety and excellent value for money, compliments to the chef. I will definitely return. Thank you

Bar Bad generally not attended. £3.40 for lager and food in a place you cannot wash your hands. Not great but go there for the people. Needs a serious uplift and shake down. We need this Pub in the community.

Staff are ignorant, I was stood at the bar trying to order food and drinks for my children and myself, when the bar women waved a finger (wait a minute) walked out side and had a cigarette and a chat.

Chess club on Wednesdays and a great atmoshere everytime Wales pkay rugby watched by a devoted Welsh fan base. Children friendly with beer garden.
