Never had a bad experience, always nice food and good service.

Decent place for a bite to eat. Chicken was a bit dry on this occasion, but ok, apart from that.

If you are looking for half a chicken and chips for just over a tenner Nandos is the place for you. Updated 2024 - slightly different menu but it's still chicken !

Last minute decision to go out for dinner , have not been to Nandos for ages. Really busy for a Friday night. Shown to our table, quite quickly. Ordered online. Food arrived within twenty minutes. For a simple dinner, this place ticks alot of boxes. I had the Mediterranean Salad, with chicken, without the olives. I could of made shoes with the chicken [ rather tough ] would not recommend. Can not remember what the others had.

Can I just say I went in to take away. I never do reviews of stuff but can honestly say they were the most friendliest loveliest bunch of people I’ve had the pleasure of ordering a take away from

Food was a tad over done, the table was really dirty, was trying not to get stuck to it. The people serving where half asleep. But tbh, that's pretty good for Nando's these days

Came here with my mam who’s gluten intolerant and the server helped her with the menu quickly and painlessly, really friendly staff, great customer service!

Collected food from here on a number of occasions and it is always 10/10!

usually like a quick nandos but this visit, or lack of, was a let down… walked in, woman was very blunt and said 2 words to us. as we sat down to order we quickly realised half of the menu was out of stock. there was absolutely no mention of this, as if we had known we would not have bothered even sitting down. would have appreciated being told this, but we were not. let’s just say we left and went to kfc instead 😂

Nando’s is Nando’s I guess… this Nando’s is as good as any. Clean, good food and service acceptable

Officially the BEST experience I’ve had at nandos and I’ve been going for years. Super helpful staff, packed my takeaway order upon leaving, customised my order and helped to calculate the lowest price of getting my order. I will be coming back, no doubt.

Fast service by very friendly staff and amazing food. The decor is nice and the ceiling is a marvel to look at. Oh, and the loaded fries with a sauce that comes with it, are very nice. One plate easily feeds two adults too.

The chicken is incredibly good, I recommend the wraps. The sauces are delicious. The staff is smiling and pleasant, the service is fast. Good atmosphere, impeccable room, beautiful decor and good music... Perfect!

Chicken was good! Don't expect too much and you'll be happy.

Popped in Fri 5th July evening after long drive just for a no fuss quick meal, thought the two waitresses were so attentive, lovely and warm unlike so many places nowadays

They choose who to welcome from the door,we walked in nobody showed us anything or talked tous,then we had togo find the menus ourselves,whilst theywould greet other people from the door walk with them and help them

Food was fab and quick and delicious but sadly the floor staff ruined the experience , waitress waiting on us was talking too much and noticed she was doing that a lot instead of actually working and hanging by where the food is prepared looking at the screen, and had to wait a while to get her attention to get a takeaway box and my companions shared that they have seen that same staff touching and walking around with a kid I understand it’s their job to b friendly and check up on customers but chatting and walking around really not helping customers

Excellent place for refreshing yourself, family and friends.

Always clean, always friendly, always speedy service. We have a sesame allergy in our party and staff always fantastic and knowledgeable. Great vegetarian and vegan options, the kids absolutely love it !

My chicken was burnt and dry. Everyone else in my party liked the food.

Cutlery was dirty, service on entry wasn't great could see we had a toddler but no highchair given or offered had to go and get one ourselves. Service did improve when next waitress served us though.

I absolutely love the food here. It’s just such a shame about unruly very young children being allowed to run riot in the restaurant, using the furniture to climb over and using the drink and ice station as a messy play area.

Had a really nice young man who spoke to me about the new sauce and was just a delight all around. Long live the short kings I guess

What can you say that's different. Food was above average, bit pricey for what it actually is. The drinks were also pricey, who actually drinks more than a 1/2 pint or a pint of Coke for £3.95? Very busy due to half term but seated on arrival. The staff was nice and friendly. Spytty looks a little like a movie set in places, with buildings looking run down and some areas all over grown. 4/5 is a good score though.

Can't fault it, decent food served very quickly. And more importantly, very enjoyable too

After recieving some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced at the Hereford branch a month ago I'm pleased to say that the Nandos at Newport retail park went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, were extremely polite, the food was served quickly and tasted great. Thank you😁

Attended a party, about 25 people , the people serving the meals didn't have a good idea whose meal was whose. Some had finished food before others were served!!! Wasn't my favourite place, I found food expensive for what was served.

Actual horrid customer service and not considerate about pregnant women at all. It’s the law to allow pregnant women to use the toilet yet they turn people down

delicious food HOWEVER. chicken was soooooooo hot despite only being medium on the spicemeter!!!!! now my lips are burnt and chapped as if i’ve just come out of a burning building. and my gelato was LATE. explain yourselves. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIPS.

Currently sitting here for the last hour and the restaurant has 4 tables and still no food delivered. Plenty of staff but no one has a clue. Very poor

Food was great as usual for a nandos but when it's -2 outside and to be told the heating is broken when you arrive is disgusting. Why even stay open. There were families in there who had babies and toddlers eating in a restaurant that was not fit to be open, so much so that people had gloves, hats and scarves on and trying to keep as warm but it was impossible and not only that, to not serve hot drinks when it was so cold was awful. I really hope that management and head office see this as that restaurant should not have been open at all.

Chicken was OK.. had one of the sharing platters, with thighs and breast meat. Chicken breast was a little dry...not as tasty as I remember.

No ice in the ice machine diet coke flat out of machine staff very remote food ok but quite a wait over 30 minutes and and wasn't too busy back ground music very load making whole place very load.ehen food arrived it was very good and waitress did apologise fir delay :)

Great food as always, but I am a fan. Went quite early in the day, fairly quiet so food delivery was super quick. Me and my family are plant based so would love to see some good vegan dessert options added.

Awful customer service, waited to be sat down for ages and no one paid any attention even though it wasn’t busy. Sat down ourselves and ordered on the app, 40 minutes later still no food. Bunch of young workers standing around doing nothing. Food finally came after asking three times, chicken undercooked and sides over cooked and burnt. Don’t waste your time!

Poorly run nandos, wasn't busy , food was just left on the hot counter for 15 mins, cause waitresses was on their phones. Food was cold

This was the first time we'd been to Nando's in a few years, I used to go regularly when I was working away, but that changed with the Covid lockdowns etc. Unfortunately, the quality of the food had gone downhill steeply... Chicken used to be fresh and juicy, but now it looks like bits of cardboard and is dry. They've probably changed supplier or the cooking process, it's now probably just warmed up in an oven or microwave and shown the grill rather than actually being grilled. Portion sizes are taking the mickey, a "large" side dish comes a small bowl, eg we ordered a large salad but it came in a bowl the size of a finger bowl. I asked the manger about it but it was the right size, apparently. The "regular" side dishes are the size of a ramekin, ridiculous! Unfortunately, this was the last time, we won't be going back to Nando's again, until they put customer satisfaction over profits. Shame, cos I used to really enjoy eating there.

Children food came on time and they finished food and adult waited 25 to 30 minutes before food was served Garlic bread was reheated none of us could eat chicken was ok

Always a 5 star meal from me! I have tried most items on the menu and none will disappoint. At the moment I am preferring the half chicken with hot peri peri and 2 sides of spicy chips with coleslaw. Everything was gorgeous!

The food was lovely. Very quick to bring to the table. We had the mushroom and bean pattie in the pitta. The pitta was unfortunately too chewy and make lunch a little less enjoyable. The sides were yummy. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and it's location means you can relax and take your time with your meal.

I like Nando's, but I loved this Nando's. The staff were helpful and the food is great. It's also the best Nando's that I've been to outside of Botswana.

Chicken was overcooked and dry, bread was stale. Won't be visiting here again

Tasty chicken and friendly service. Very loud music plays in the background, after a while it really grinds your gears. It might be used to get customers to eat their food faster, but it does give you a really bad headache and spoils a nice meal out.

This is probably the best Nando's in South Wales.

Food took a while to arrive but was lovely when it was served.

Service was really good. It was quite on the day, so there wasn't much in the way of atmosphere, so I couldn't give it a higher score in that area. Chicken was very dry for two of the three meals, but the rest of the food was cooked nicely There is a sewage drain that is slightly overflowing in the car park near the main entrance to the restaurant. The water from this drain is running into the car park, so you have to step over to avoid it. It also smells quite pungent so I wouldn't advise eating outside until it is rectified.

First time I've ever been disappointed at nandos. Food was wrong, they said I'd ordered wrong but I ordered in the app and showed they did offer to change but we waited ages for the first time. Food was just thrown on the plate, any old shape. Seemed abit like the rush really did get the better of them.

Service was fairly slow, but the customer support was good. The food allowed me overlook this though as, despite having to wait over 30 minutes for our food it was good, well presented and tasted amazing

Friendly young staff, chicken was a little over done and dry but the restaurant was full of customers. Drink tasted more like sparkling water than coke.

Nandos is what it is, doesn't bill itself as a high class restaurant, and fits it perfectly. Good food, service and atmosphere.

Food was yummy except for my mash and my partners coleslaw, the mash was as very dry not creamy like it stated and the coleslaw had hardly any sauce in it just a white watery mixture at the bottom of the bowl (I'm sure it was meant to be made with yoghurt or something). Service was slow and the young lad who bought us our desert looked like he didn't want to be there. I ordered on the app so I didn't have to wait in the queue to order also hoping our order would've got to the kitchen quicker. The atmosphere was okay nothing spectacular due to the issues that were happening. The toilet cubicles in the ladies well, there is only one that was open (not sure If the other one is a store cupboard) and it's very small, which meant there was a queue for the loos too. Overall it was an okay visit but I'm not in a hurry to come back.

If you have eaten at a Nando's before then you know what to expect. Consistently friendly service with a very tasty meal. When we went, it was full, but they offered a seat and waited 10 minutes. They were quick enough and we left very satisfied. The food was the same Nando's experience we all know and love!

Butterfly chicken and chips n coke Single chicken breast wrap and chips n wine.. 5 spicy wings.. £55 absolute rip off and on top of it miserable staff and freezing cold venue re heated chicken bone dry.. Will not be going back..

Very good food and always very consistent. Staff are friendly and the food is served quickly. 4 stars as the food is slightly pricy for its simplicity, however the refillable drinks do make up for it a little.

Kids enjoyed it. My pitta was really nice and staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Why select a pick-up time if you're going to be late providing the order by over 20 minutes? Then have staff who seem to be under the impression that work can be done at their leisure. You're already late. You've already messed up. You don't get to take your time. Then again that seems to be the attitude towards customer service throughout the UK in general. Food was cold in the end. What a waste of time and money.

Nando’s in Newport has been the exception!! So much so I felt the need to leave a review. Lovely staff, quick service and not understaffed. Go here!!

Nando's, like most chains, is a safe bet when you're travelling around. The thing that sits this apart from others was the service. The staff in the Newport Nando's were particularly polite and friendly - really good service, and the food was out in a flash.

We come here for our lads birthday and the food was served quickly and it was very tasty. Staff were very accommodating also thank you so much for a lovely meal

So had 2 burger asked for no chill jam,When the food arrived opened the bun to what I thought was chill jam so I went a spoke to a manager who gave me a dirty look because of my question,A minute later a waiter brought the food back and said it was tomato ketup,Over cooked food won’t be returning ever to Nando’s,Over priced chicken and chips,And as for the loud music people had to basically shout to hold a conversation. £30 which I spent somewhere else

It is what it is.. Every restaurant is the same, menu is the same.. But we all love it! You know what your getting every time...mixed Olives are a must! Kids can't keep away from the frozen yoghurt machine.. Its an all round go to place for a bit spice in ya life.. Or on your chicken
