Took our grandson out for lunch and the service was outstanding, Mikey served us at the bar so friendly and professional and the food was lovely too my grandson loved the kids curry and rice and then the strawberry sundea. Highly recommend and will be back soon.

First time here, came with family. The food was beautiful, it was very hot, well presented and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We are 25 minutes drive away but would travel again to eat here.

Visited on a Monday lunchtime with friends. Good day to go as cheaper beer is on offer. Arrived about midday after walking from where we live (3 miles away) Had meals off the 2 for £11 menu & it was very good. I had the fish & chips. This Sizzler pub has got a lot to offer. Not too busy at this time & the staff are very good. The John Smiths beer excellent & only £2.50 a pint. Three of us had the fruit crumble as a pudding & again it was excellent with both custard & vanilla ice cream provided. Must make a repeat visit in the not too distant future.

Visited with my kids for tea, we all really enjoyed our meals. Steaks cooked exactly how we like them. The takeaway puddings were great too. Service from neve, mikey and sam was great. Thank you guys.

Visited here on December 11th and was quite disappointed. I had the sirloin steak which I have had before. On this occasion the steak which was on a skillet was not even sizzling. Even when I added vinegar it wasn’t sizzling. I went to the waitress to firstly ask for the under cooked onion rings to be cooked more, and to mention the steak because it states on the menu if the steak isn’t sizzling the meal will be replaced. I was told that sometimes it sizzles and somethings it doesn’t. ??????? I have since emailed the pub direct with no reply whatsoever. Do not know if I will visit again if this is their attitude.

Places is an absolute joke and will never go again, iv held off from writing this review as was promised a gift card to try the place again but 3 weeks later and still nothing. We came on 22nd November and what an absolute disappointment it was, firstly they didn't have much food options, most things I asked for they had sold out, then I had to chase my food twice as was told 45 minuite wait but we waited nearly an hour and half. I ordered chicken burger with bacon. When it finally arrived. The bacon was raw. Hadn't been cooked at all, even the waitress stated it was raw bacon, I sent it back and was promised a new burger. My partner wasn't even offered to keep his food warm so he ate his food before mine even arrived for the second time. 20 mins later my burger came back, still raw bacon, I gave up at this point and just ordered desserts as I was hungry. I ordered a after eights sundea, I got a kids ice cream with buttons on, waitress said they'd run out of after eights, why didn't they offer me an alternative ? Just brought out something I never ordered. The whole night was an absolute joke. I complained and was offered a gift card to return. I was somewhat happy with this as would give us opportunity to try it again but 3 weeks later still absolutely nothing. Iv rang on 3 separate occasions to be told someone would contact me back and again nothing. I used to come regular but decided I won't return, a bad experience and promised they can't keep. (Only took photo of tiny bit of bacon I pulled off before waitress took it)

Second time we have visited for mid afternoon meal in last month and it did not disappoint. Friendly attentive staff. Variety of meals have been enjoyed on each visit. Definitely recommend.

Very poor service and attitude of staff. We left after 1 hour 15 mins when our food had not arrived.. Poor attitude shown by manager. Whatever happened to the phrase... the customer is always right ?

We visited here today after a day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park which is only around 1 mile away. We received great service and the food was brilliant. Prices are great as well on both food and drinks. Download the Sizzling Pubs app as well as they give you a free drink, so it much better than paying twice the price at the park. We all loved our food and the lager was cold so all was good thank you.

Awful experience. We ordered a sirloin steak and a burger. The steak was like leather. It was returned and the second one was not much better. My burger was overcooked and as dry as a bone. This is a pub we've used reasonably frequently however...

Came for some lunch with a friend, the food choice was great especially with all the add-on items available. Great atmosphere and staff are welcoming.

We went in and ordered food that's was very well valued, the drinks were also really cheap as it was Monday Club. The food was really good, especially considering how much we paid and it was a cracking pint.

Me and my daughter were driving past and nipped in for a quick ice cream, (Coors for me though.) The staff were lovely, made both me and my 3 year old feel very welcome. We even had a game of dominoes.

My husband and I have called for lunch here on a Saturday afternoon quite a few times in the last couple of months after trying it for the first time In January. The decor is modern and pleasant, it’s very clean, and the staff are really friendly and efficient. The bar is great for the football , and then we move into the lounge area to eat. The food has always been really tasty and really good value for money. I’ve had the tenessee steak twice, and hunters chicken.. both served on a sizzler with plenty of onions and cooked perfectly. My husband loves the chicken platter ( it’s belly busting) . Will visit again and bring the kids next time, prices good enough not to break the bank .

We visited this establishment as a large family group and we were able to book our table in advance which was very convenient too. When we arrived were shown to our table by one of a few very friendly members of staff who made us feel very welcome. We ordered our food which I have to say there was plenty to choose from, 2 members of our group had dietary requirements one being gluten free the other vegan and there was a wide range for them to choose from as well. The food when it arrived was lovely and hot and very delicious, the staff managed to get our food out within 20 mins even though there was 10 of us too which we were impressed with, all sizzling plates were sizzling away everybody naturally enjoyed and finished every single bit. There was also a wide range of drinks and hand pull was on offer for my husband too which he was very pleased with. We will definitely be visiting again as for this was our first visit. Thankyou to all members of staff that accommodated our visit you were all amazing!!!!

Another Sizzlers with delivery of cold food, wife had a sizzler platter which of course was hot, I decided to go for a chicken burger asked for a hot plate as I know if the plates are cold by the time one gets 1/2 way through your meal it's starting to get cold, not only was the plates cold so was the chicken sent it back, got my money back. This is the second time in 5 months, will NOT be visiting Sizzlers again for a long long time.The pub was not busy at all so there is no excuse for cold food.

This was our first visit due flying out from Doncaster airport. We had booked a table in advanced a wheelchair accessible table and was delighted it was in a central location within the building. We had drinks and a meal. Both was equally tasty and good portion of dinner the staff was attentive and friendly. We wil be visiting again next year when we fly out of the airport

This is the first time I’ve visited with a friend and it was lovely, the place was very welcoming and cosy, we had a starter and a steak which was reasonably price, would definitely visit again, the only thing that I was not sure about is the cheese on the nacho started, it was what I call plastic cheese (melted cheese slices or liquid cheese) that set really quick and was a bit tasteless, the other food was spot on.

Went to this pub with grandchildren yesterday to eat, was sat at table where next to us were couple of men. Constantly swearing. When I asked them to stop they learned it a bit, next thing a female chef came out to their table to chat and her language was disgusting, I didn’t make a scene as I was out on a celebration but couldn’t believe staff would act this way. Will never go there again which is a shame, local

Came here with my family for tea one night and were seated straight away, the restaurant was busy-ish but not full - just how you would expect it to be at tea time on an evening. When we ordered food we were told it would be an hour wait, we said that would be fine and ordered starters and mains and just as they said the starters came out after about an hour. However, the starters all came out separately, there was only one waitress working who looked rushed off her feet, she brought out half the starters then started bringing out food for other tables before the rest of us had our starters. Once we had eaten we then had to wait a further 45 minutes for our mains to come out which again, all came out separately. The food was okay, not awful but for the service we got I definitely won’t be returning - they clearly hadn’t staffed the place properly.

Firstly, I’d like to say that the waiting staff were all very nice apart from the morngy woman at the bar who sighed at me when I ordered my burger but maybe she was just having a bad day. Me and the wife travelled from her parents house a good 20 miles away for the Sizzling Pub chain as we have had a good experience at the chain pub in Bridlington (The Friendly Forester) and this was the cloest one. I was VERY disappointed to find out my burger had been severely cremated (see picture) which counteracted the great news of the PM’s resignation which we had come out to celebrate. The burger buns seem to be quite stale possibly due to being stored at too high a temperature - rookie mistake. Generally the overall premises was quite small but nice so nothing to complain about there. Maybe the food would have been better if it wasn’t as busy but as my uncle would always say - ‘it’s better cremated than raw’ - just like my gran!

Amazing food, all piping hot, extremely tasty and staff all very welcoming, polite and friendly. Well done!

After visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park we took our eldest grandson/girlfriend for lunch in The Three Horseshoes. The pub was very busy as it was a Saturday. As the food is cooked to order had to wait as expected, we were not disappointed arrived very hot and delicious as per usual. Drinks were also very good, all good value. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

There was one member of staff on, she was busy but managed and acknowledged us immediately it was quite busy , meal was nice service was good staff friendly, my husband commented on the state of the men’s toilets, toilet stained no lock on the door, toilet not flushed and urine all over the seat, glad I didn’t try the ladies, I always think if the toilets are clean then the kitchen is, also kitchen staff going to toilet in kitchen uniform then straight back into kitchen transferring goodness knows what

Went for a meal after visiting the wildlife park. My son and daughter-in-law have big appetites which is why I chose this place. They ordered loads as suspected but the total bill was still excellent value for money. Best of all, they said the food was brilliant. Staff were great even with a complicated order. Thanks Three Horse Shoes, you delivered what we needed. I can't recommend you enough.

We had to wait 30 minutes for our meals as they are made to order and hot and worth waiting for. Plenty of choice on menu to choose from. Reasonably priced with good value for money. An excellent visit for us.

We went here as was going to Yorkshire wildlife park and was over an hour queue. food was a good standard. Staff were ok there was a girl who brought the puddings out that was brill. She noticed our 3 year old getting fed up of waiting for his dessert we had only ordered it 2 minutes before but she went out her way to get him it before all the others we were waiting for. This was brill as with mains his was last one out and there was 7 of us. Overall a pleasant experience

Was expecting a standard pub meal, but was pleasantly surprised.

The wife and I just popped in for a quick meal at tea time, we found that the food was fair the wife had a steak and it was sitting on a bed of onions far to many, in fact it put the wife off her meal, I had a steak and it was a bit grisly and fatty, it’s not a place I would recommend.

I had to write a quick review so if anyone is wondering if to eat here they know they should! It’s one of our fave easy family nights out for tea, the meals are so well priced and well cooked and the staff are always lovely

Visited today with my other half and daughter. Plenty of choice on the menu. I had the scampi and chips. It wasn't a huge portion, but it was good value for the price, and meant I had room for dessert. I went for the Belgian waffle - delicious! Hot food and great service - will be back!

Cheap and cheerful great food, fast service, not 100% as advertised on the menu, the meal I ordered advertised a bed of peppers and onions but all I got was onions, that said it was a very tasty meal. The bar is very well maintained and the larger is spot on! Happy friendly staff! Well worth a visit

Well it was definitely nice food here .... after all 300 million flies don’t lie - shocking really we had to leave our food as the flies won the staff need to seriously look into sorting this issue out instead of watering the plants outside when they’ve got a queue at the bar for drink and food orders - for these reasons I gave a 1 - I would have given less had it given the option

Not been in this Gastropub for about a year. Visited today with refit completed, good interior. Could not fault anything today, food excellent, drinks good, service excellent. Though pub was dealing with a party of Oap's celebrating a birthday party, we could not fault our visit.

Off on holiday with the missus tomorrow for some much needed sun so not gonna see my daughter for a week so thought we'd go out for tea before she goes back to her mum's... Utterly impressed with the value for money, it's a sizzling pub chain so wasn't expecting anything spectacular... But they have offers coming out their ears... We took the purple voucher for 20% off but then a sizzler plate is just 5.99 with a drink and kids eat for a pound so thats what the missus and daughter went for... I had the 14oz gammon... No choice needed, comes with 2 eggs and 2 pineapple rings... Issue with the till so voucher wouldn't take.. barmaid told me to keep it for another time and offered me a different deal of 40% off the mains which would've been a bit better anyway... That didn't work either so let me keep that voucher too and manually put the discount through... All this food and diet pepsi for the girls and a Stella for me and only 17.54 for the lot... Meals were plenty big enough and cooked well.. we will be back if we fancy a cheap but tasty bite to eat again...

Went with a party of eight but found it to be a dull and cold place. The heating was turned on when we asked but by the time it warmed up it was time to leave.

We have been several times & enjoyed the Food which is excellent & well presented but the experience is sadly let down by the dire Decor & furniture which is particularly in need of some refurbishment. Carpets & general look of the place is letting it down badly when in comparison to its local competition.

Our second visit this year and this visit was excellent. The pub midweek was not too busy, the food, drinks and service were great. Always recommend to visit midweek during the day if possible as mainly quiet.

Love to visit the Three Horse Shoes, good food at low prices without affecting quality. Basic family meals at good prices. Staff are always friendly and helpful, they take a genuine interest in the customers. We visit here abou 2 to 3 times a month.

Good not food, had two starters both very nice and served hot. Our two main courses were chosen from the two for £7.50 menu. The fish and chips were very good but the very small slice of pie served was disappointing even for the low cost of the meal. Both mins were served hot. The staff were very friendly and the pub is worth a try for their food.

Been here quite a lot this year which was very strange as it was my local for a long long time ! We have tried numerous dishes and we haven’t been disappointed with any , the quality and quantity is very good as is the price . The service is excellent and always friendly staff to hand . I don’t know if they permit dogs in but if we find they do then we will be visiting more regularly for certain .

Lovely food and great value for money. Our group of 4 adults had 4 main meals and to drinks that came with 2 of the meals at it only cost £31. That sort of price you start to worry what the food will taste and look like. However, when it came we was all presently surprised. The food was very nice and well presented. It also tasted very nice.

We go fairly regular with friends and the meals are usually great value and very tasty .Although the restaurant is rather austere and basically equipt (ie -no tablecloths ) All condiments provided free and meals on "sizzling platters " are to die for . Friendly staff and excellent bar staff make this pub a good place to visit but don't expect top cuisine food or service-just great pub grub .

The Three Horse Shoes did a wonderful buffet, which was presented beautifully for our party of almost 50 guests and this was very reasonably priced. We also organised for a singer and there was a small dance floor which all made the atmosphere really special yet friendly and informal. We would very highly recommend The Three Horse Shoes as a venue for a quiet drink, a family meal or a party.

Went in with my boyfriend to get a pudding and a drink. Couldn't do a single pudding gluten free, worryingly this also included plain ice cream and cream, why is there even gluten in them? As per usual I was given a grubby folder with all the allergens listed which are always difficult to understand (it's really not the thing you want to get confused over). When my partner asked whether they could just take some parts out of a pudding they said they couldn't as they were all pre made and it wasn't possible to make a separate one. I don't like making a fuss but it's not as if I put on my condition just to be awkward, they should cater for what is quite a common condition, even just give me ice cream. We just left

Not visited this pub for a while but today's lunchtime visit was excellent. Food and drinks great, service very good, food hot and Sizzling as the chain call themselves. From today's visit would recommend.

We have been here twice recently and both times we have enjoyed the food, my husband had the 20oz steak which came on a sizzling platter and was cooked to perfection he thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the old faithful burger and the quality of the meat was lovely, will certainly visit again, thank you.

Enjoyed the food and the surroundings at this pub, bar and waiting staff very friendly,food menu vast....all the food we had was hit and tasty.....we also were able to reduce our food bill by 20% by using a voucher to be found in a local charity voucher book, would recommend for an informal, traditional pub meal and a pint

Tried 3 horse shoes for first time I had 8 oz rump steak dialing hot wife had pork dinner daughter had chicken dinner her husband had half chicken we all enjoyed our meals we were there at 1200 hrs started getting busy will be calling again

We have been to this pub on many occasions over the past few years & have had quite a lot of disappointing meals as well as some good ones, this group seems to have got things right at last. Excellent value for the meals - hot - well cooked. Just been to the King & Miller today 23/2/17 & it was great. Will certainly be returning to Sizzling bubs in the near future, well done keep it up

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat with my 2 year old this afternoon. Brill food choices for him, family friendly, staff were polite and really helpful especially as my child has food allergies. My meal was delicious. Served piping hot. I will definitely be returning!

I have eaten here twice now and would do it again in a heartbeat the good is great and comes out piping hot and nothing seems too much trouble for the staff either. I spilled coleslaw all over the floor and they did a great job of cleaning up after me. I felt such a fool. It's a bit cold near the doors!

We've been to lots of 'sizzling pubs' however this one deserves special thanks. The staff were so attentive to our girls. They really went out of their way to look after us!The food was delicious and speedy even though it was quite busy. Will definately recommend to friends

They seem to have got their act together at last, very good service meal was on the table before we knew it, everything hot which is as it should be & cooked well. I had ultimate breakfast & the wife had ultimate catch. Had a 25% off voucher which helped as well. 1 little thing - had a pint of IPA which was flat & tasteless otherwise came away full & content. A sizzling pub that actually sizzles. We were on our way home with our grandkids a little late so we decided to call in. We were surprised the pub was friendly. The restaurant clean and accessible. Food was freshly cooked and we did not wait long but long enough for the food to be prepared properly. The kids menu was value and the food was not the usual thrown together rubbish

Visited on a Thursday grill night when there were plenty of other people dining. We chose a sirloin steak meal and a 10 oz rump steak. The price was very good but unfortunately the meat was not. It would seem that the steaks had not been seasoned before being put on the grill as they were both pretty tasteless as well as being hard to cut with gristle running throughout. On the plus side the steaks had been cooked correctly as medium rare and on this occasion the chips were a whole lot better than our previous experience. Disappointing.

I have reviewed this pub on several occasions. This visit was excellent, well cooked, value for money with a good pint of Doom Bar ale. No problems occurred with excellent service from the staff.,Only detrimental comment I would make is a makeover of painting and carpet is long overdue for decorating & replacement carpeting.
