Booked the private room for a hen party. The layout of the bar is designed with old fashioned accessories and a vinyl covered ceiling! They offer lots of cocktails,wine,prosecco etc. The staff were attentive and kept us topped up with water and other drinks. We could play our own music. They also let us stay a bit later which was kind of them.

Went out for drink here and it is such a nice place. Great vibes and great drinks. Staff were all friendly, would definitely go back.

Another great food and drinks experience at 384 with Liam and his team. The food is truly delicious and very reasonably priced, the drinks always come with a story and a little bit of something personal

The cocktails at this place are incredible. The service in addition to the quality is so good. You feel like you're round at a close friends house and they're making you mind blowing cocktails. It's so so good. I really like this place.

Vine aquí para un brunch sin fondo con algunos amigos y lo pasamos muy bien. Tuve los huevos rotos y también compartí algunos smores. El precio era de alrededor de 25 por persona por prosecco ilimitado durante 2 horas y un plato de brunch cada uno. Creo que han cambiado su sistema a algo ligeramente diferente pero, no obstante, lo recomendaría.Los huevos rotos eran increíbles y el Prosecco también era muy potable. El restaurante en sí tiene un ambiente agradable y todo el personal fue amable y atento.

Very slow service, told wasn’t paying the service charge due to poor service and the bartender put it on my card anyways. Won’t be back. Much better places around - bartender has attitude problem.

Hemos pasado este pequeño restaurante muchas veces, pero siempre ha estado lleno. Sin embargo, conseguimos una mesa para cenar entre Navidad y Año Nuevo. La comida fue fantástica. Comimos gambas con mantequilla de ajo, deliciosos panko d calamari, mozarella y tomates maravillosamente cremosos, filete de hierro plano, brócoli servido con sésamo y soja y el pan más maravilloso. Lavó con un delicioso rojo italiano. Muy muy bien por cierto. No puedo esperar para volver y reservar con antelación.Me encanta la iluminación muy baja, ¡ideal para los comensales más maduros! ! ! Excellent evening with very enjoyable cocktails and the friday set menu for two, for six people, which was well worth it. Great ambiance. Will be back for sure.

We were a table of five people and we had reserved a table for Sunday brunch.Good service, quirky decor, good prices and an awesome brekkie.Not a massively comprehensive menu but what we had was so tasty.Bottomless coffee available too.A great place for a chilled, relaxed brekkie or brunch.

After not getting a table at the Italian over the road I took a punt here. Tight seating space, I had no chance squeezing past the tables to get onto the bench. Tzatiki was good and complimented the falafels. Calamari was nice to begin with but the oil & salt levels were noticeable as I got further into the dish. Same for the prawns, lot of garlic going on. Chicken wings was the best dish, portion very filling. Espresso martini & mojito were average. I’ve given this an extra star because the Irish waitress was fantastic. Superb at her job.

Mi amigo reservó una mesa aquí hace dos semanas y no sabía qué esperar, pero estaba más que feliz. Después de pasar un par de años en Australia, este lugar me llevó de vuelta a la escena del restaurante independiente allí. Personal increíble (a pesar de que fue uno de los primeros turnos de las chicas). Visited here with some friends. The service was pretty slow to order. I’d recommend the beef brisket burger which was really tasty. It’s definitely worth going but make sure you have time on your side.

I went here last night for cocktails and oh my god they were amazing! Really loved the interior and the cost vibe!

I vsisted and had a tapas style evening dinner. I had calamari which was lightly battered and tasted great. Then I had broccoli in soy which was amazing and I also had steak chimi churi. Cocktails also great superb service I would recommend and return

Went here last night for happy hour. The cocktails were great. However, the customer service was terrible, and downright sneaky. Our waitress, Georgia, pushed us to upgrade our drinks (and therefore the price) without telling us that that would cost extra. My friend was a returning customer and so had a voucher that entitled us to a free round of drinks. When we presented this voucher to our waiter at the end of the night he became quite hostile (he didn't seem to think it was real!) and they both tried to overcharge us! When we said that there must be a mistake with the bill as we didn't recognize half the things we had supposedly ordered, he argued with us about it and tried to make us feel as though we were the ones in the wrong. He then came back with a second bill that wasn't correct either and he tried to say that the last drinks we ordered weren't during happy hour which they definitely were. It was only after that, that he came back with an accurate bill. If you are going to give out promotional vouchers, you should accept them graciously, not with suspicion. If you are going to have a happy hour then you must honour it, and not try and extort extra money from your loyal customers. Will not be back

We went to 384 for lunch on a Sunday. The choice of food was a bit limited and mostly of sugary / dessert stuff; food was fine but very average. Cocktails were great (love their spicy Bloody Mary) and I would definitely go back for drinks.

We had intended to go to the new cocktail bar 'Cattivo' but I got half way down the stairs to be greeted by dull music played at a level that damages hearing and without going further just knew that it was the sort of place where a so-called mixologist takes a perfectly good spirit off the rack and then fudges it into an alcopop and calls it something stupid. Streatham circa 1980...the nostalgia, the nostalgia.......

We have eaten here all of two times, it would seem the food wait gets longer. A grand total of 50 minutes wait for 4 brunch dishes at a decidedly un-busy time. However it is worth waiting for, great portions and great price.

Hemos tenido intención de ir a este lugar para el brunch de edades y que la decoración era fresco y bien hecho. Sin embargo, el servicio era muy pobre y arruinó la experiencia. Esperamos 15 minutos para nuestro café que nos dijeron que era largo porque tenían que girar la máquina de café de nuevo - Yo creo que si estás ofreciendo sin límite debe tener el café de la máquina completa y listo todo el tiempo. . . Nuestra comida tardaron mucho tiempo en llegar y la mesa junto a nosotros que pedimos 10 minutos después nos dieron todo su comida antes de nosotros y había acabado de comer por el tiempo que teníamos. No hay disculpas Cuando vino finalmente la comida y platos eran muy normalito, nada especial. Los aseos también eran terriblemente sucia y en condiciones poco higiénicas y muy mal iluminada!

El mes pasado visitamos aquí y disfrutamos de los cócteles. La ubicación de este bar es maravilloso, como es el ambiente relajado y chic. Los cócteles en el menú de temporada son interesantes y únicas, pero siempre hay el clásico menú que puede pedir al personal por que es enorme y contiene prácticamente cualquier cóctel que te puedas imaginar! Sin duda recomiendo este bar para las bebidas, no probamos la comida, en esta ocasión así que estoy incapaz de crítica.

Yo sólo espero que quien sirve está a la altura de sus habilidades y excelente bar cortés Este es mi favorito conjunta en Brixton en el momento. Fuimos dos veces este fin de semana. Uno para el desayuno, que era genial. Buena relación calidad-precio, con un agradable ambiente relajado y excelente comida. En la parte trasera de este volvimos por la noche para bebidas - por desgracia estaba descuidada y lenta. Esperamos 15 minutos para nuestra orden y luego otro 25 minutos para ellos y para nosotros, traído. Entiendo que las noches son ocupados, pero 40 minutos es demasiado. Podrá tomar cócteles mejor y más rápido servicio en otro lugar.

I'm getting to know Matt, Milo, Marc and Henry and love my solo drink on a Wednesday evening. They're friendly, welcoming, inviting and have the 'people skills' to make this hole in the wall successful. Kudos to the mixologist, the cocktails are awesome!!! Bought my friend this week, who despite living in Brixton for over 30 years had not ventured into three eight four!! She loved it!! Can't wait for new summer cocktail. menu but will continue with ziggy for now or whatever Marc throws at me!! Lol!

This has become my main squeeze weekly!! Every Wednesday after work I pop in and ask for a recommendation on the cocktail list (so far only one didn't tickle my fancy) but not just the cocktails. This bar has a relaxed, laid back feel with an up market menu. I love the staff who always make you feel welcomed

The negative score is mainly due to poor choice for vegetarian and there isn’t much choice apart from few salads.

I visited three eight four for the first time recently and I can definitely say that I will be going back! Fantastic atmosphere, brilliant cocktails, great location - it has everything I like! The staff were welcoming and accommodating also which was lovely to see.

Three Eight Four is taps restaurant in Brixton - and it's a good one. They have been thinking thoroughly about the food, drinks and the room in the restaurant. The room with its raw walls and funny lamps is nice, but better still the cocktails (2 for 1 before 8 pm) and the food. We started out with 2 cocktails Ziiggy Stardust and Three Musketeers - very original and good. We had 4 tapas. Each tapas is so big it's best to split it between to persons. They are very spanish and tasted very good. We bought wine by the glass - a good Italian wine. The tapas coast 6-8 pounds. We ended up with a bill for 60 pounds for 2 persons. A good experience.

Service was really good and so was the quality of food! Loved the bottemless filter coffee for only £2! Would definitely go back!

We just went for drinks before dinner. It was 2 4 1. We waited over 25 minutes for the first round with no apology or acknowledgment. We ordered the second round which was faster..

Un lugar agradable y acogedor, ideal para grupos de hasta 4. Los cócteles son básicamente algunos de los mejores que he probado! Altamente recomendado! ! La comida es sabrosa y perfecta como maravillosamente mientras estés compartiendo entre 2 en lugar de 4! Este lugar es una joya! Absolutamente magnífico.

We had a couple of cocktails each and shared the courgette fritters, which were pleasantly light and full of flavour. We also had the avocado wontons which were delicious. Took a little while to get seats, but we did and I was pleased for it as it was quite busy. The music was a little loud for me personally, but it was generally a younger crowd, so I guess it works for them. The complimentary popcorn (with tabasco) was appreciated whilst we waited for our snacks. I would definitely go again. Oh and all of the team members working that night were charming.

An overcrowded cocktail bar that unfortunately summarises the problems with current Brixton. Poor cocktails that cost £9+ and a crowd that have an undeservedly high opinion of themselves. Terrible food service, and if you want to eat you are often forced to perch on a stool in a corner. Avoid.

We had a very enjoyable 'bottomless' brunch. It wasn't bottomless in the traditional sense as you only get one dish included, if you want more food you have to order it separately, but you get as many refills of drinks as you can handle (including OJ, coffee, Bloody Mary, and prosecco). As this option is £25 you need to have at least 3 drinks to make it cost effective. This was no problem for us but if you're not a big drinker you're better off sticking to a la carte.I do agree that some of the portions are small, but I thought the food itself was very nice. This place does hands down the BEST French toast I have ever had. My friend loved the smashed avocado on toast, apparently it had a little layer of rosemary just underneath that created a lovely earthy flavour. Service was relaxed but also very attentive and we never had an issue with empty glasses. Only taking a star off due to the size of portions and the fact that bottomless brunch would be better value if you could have more than one dish included. (Maybe limit drinks to 3 to make it more cost effective for the restaurant itself? I would be fine with that). But despite this I would definitely come back, as would the other members of my party, we all had a brilliant time.

I went for brunch with my family. Initially I was impressed with the space as it's intimate and cosy. We had the brunch menu which for me was way too limited. I had the 'smashed' avocado which was nice but there's nothing special about mashed avocado on bread if I'm honest (and that was the only thing I fancied!). We were all still hungry after our plates - they were small plates after all, so we ordered some dessert. It took ages to arrive which surprised us as the place was not busy! Again it was nothing to write home about.The cocktail menu looked lovely so maybe I'll try that next time. If there is a next time!

I'm sure this is a great place in the evening, but brunch was disappointing. Tiny chewy pancakes! Left very hungry! Sad!

The brunch food was distinctly average for the whole group and service was very slow. Wouldn't waste my time or money going here again for brunch. Might be a different story for the evening cocktails.

Took 20 minutes for bartender to tell me he couldn't do the drink he'd said, when we ordered. he could do. That's a long time to wait for a disappointment. No reduction on bill or apology; seemed v unconcerned! All in all a shame, as having been often, I know the cocktails are usually very good.

Really friendly staff they couldn,t do enough for us we went there before a gig around about 6.30 on a saturday night,the place waspacked but they managed to squeeze us in . ,great tapas and unusual cocktails would recommend the nightshade, had four vegetarian tapas and 3 cocktails each which came to just under sixty pounds

Was taken to this hidden gem by a friend of mine who recommended it and as soon as I walked in the door I could see why. The place has a very unique look looking like it's been made from recycled industrial parts, but the service is what you'd expect from an up market bar. Only really had bar snacks to eat which where very nice, and the cocktails amazing! Very well presented and tasty, would definitely recommend trying a "Ziggy stardust".

Been here a few times - cocktails are AMAZING and good choice of wine. Great food to snack on. Great to come to with some friends for some drinks and nibbles. The mozzarella arancini balls are lovely. The only issue I've had is with one of the bar staff who was a bit rude and patronising once when I ordered some wine. I pronounced it wrong apparently and was promptly corrected and he sort of sneered at me. Apart from that the others are nice and friendly.

One of the many cool little places that have sprung up in Brixton recently, this bar on Coldharbour Lane is just over the road from the longer in the tooth Dogstar, but could be a world away. The decor is what you'd expect: big, high wooden tables with stools at the back, and more intimate tables at the front, industrial style naked lightbulbs set into the wire skeletons of mattresses overhead, pools of shadow shrouding half of the place, the walls bare brick and corrugated plastic sheets, the bar long and uplit. It's a good look, and similar to many places further into town.The music is great, whoever's in control of the playlists clearly someone with great taste, and never too loud to drown out conversation. The drinks menu is extensive and interesting, with several excellent beers and numerous wine choices, as well as cocktails; the food menu is varied and enticing.However, it is a little style over substance. The cocktails are gimmicky, and either underpowered or just a bit odd. The old fashioned comes on a wooden block in a hip flask with a chunk of jerky; however, it also frequently came out with a lot of ice already melted, and was met with mixed reactions. The manhattan comes in a glass bottle, smoke billowing out like a potion as you pour it, but it tastes of little more than apple juice. They look fantastic though, and a very photogenic.The food, a combination of little bites and more substantial plates, is interesting, but ultimately unsatisfying. The brisket burger looks impressive and was well received, as were the prawns; the courgette fritters were also quite tasty and well textured. The arancini on the other hand, while perfectly cripsy, tasted of nothing; similarly the nduja on toast was barely noticeable, and the chicken wings were overcooked and chewy, as was the squid. Which was a pity, because they all sounded great on the menu.Worth looking into, and in fairness I had a good night there, but maybe eat somewhere else beforehand. Apparently their brunch is better.

The “small plates” come from a small but varied menu. We tried several of these dishes and enjoyed them all. Two plates each were filling and made a different and enjoyable meal.Cocktails are interesting. We started with one each and then moved to wine from a small but reasonably priced list - £17 to £31 and all available by the glass.We were served by a lively and cheerful waitress who was working in a fully packed restaurant – booking is recommended. Access by public transport or taxi.

Had a business dinner last week at this cool, trendy restaurant. The service was super slow, even getting a drink, but the food in the end was delicious, the drinks great, staff hilarious, so all in all I would love to go back! Not top score only due to slow service.

Randomly walked past Three Eight Four whilst out in Brixton and was well impressed that we made the choice to go in. Incredible cocktail menu with plenty of unique options amongst the usual winners. Was also great to speak to a friendly bartender who knew the menu inside out but also was more than happy to go off menu and make things based on what we were feeling at the time.

I love it here! I've visited on a couple of occasions, often with friends but most recently with family. Its a really nice atmosphere and the cocktails are great! (I've never eaten here so can't review the food)I'd definitely recommend asking for the "classic cocktails" menu- it's such a treat- a massive old-school photo album full of tasty cocktails! Service is sometimes a little slow and it is quite a small space so it's sometimes difficult to get a seat so maybe worth booking if there's a few of you. However this definitely doesn't put me off as there are so many more positives- the cocktails, the lighting and cosy atmosphere, the music! All great :)

Really great seasonal cocktail menu, it has become my go-to place in Brixton for a few drinks with friends. The food here is also very good - I ordered some fishcakes which were delicious!!!There's a nice atmosphere here, it's not too busy most of the time, and the staff are very good too but you do sometimes have to wait a small while for service, particularly at weekends. The prices seem reasonable for London and the attention to detail with the presentation of cocktails is a great touch!

We went for the £5 pancakes and bottomless coffee, taste sensation and great value. What a find! Hip decor and the staff are friendly. We will be going back!

The cocktails served at Three Eight Four are compleat lunacy; they've gone for gimmicks over taste. Cocktails we ordered included the Maple Old fashion, served in a hip flask with a piece of beef jerky, (tasted horrible, nothing like an old fashion) and the Mr McGregor's Side car, a carrot juice cocktail, served in a watering can and flower pot with a baby carrot on top, (which was quite nice). Obviously these drinks were completely overpriced too.The decor is urban chic, all chip board and exposed brick, it's certainly nothing special; don't sit down stairs, it's a bit smelly down there. The service was friendly, but very slow.Personal I thought Three Eight Four was pretentious nonsense, but my wife loved it. So maybe it's a good place to take a date.

Simple dishes done well. Nice variety. Great service. Watermelon margarita was on point. Definitely get s'mores for dessert.

This would be a great date night place but not towards the end of the week as I can imagine it would be super busy and loud. We had food here which was tasty, but they didn't have two of the dishes we wanted which was a bit annoying. The staff were really friendly and the cocktails were yum!

Met here with a friend for quick drinks after dinner. The service was great, our waitress was amazing and very hepful. They have a wide range of drinks, I would recommend the Mexican pornstar martini (I like the passion fruit flavour, nothing to do with the name).

I've been there with a friend, the place is small and took me ages to get one beer and one cocktail for my mate. The service is super slow, the variety of beers are poor, isnt cheap and to add more in the history, the credit card machine wasnt functioning properly, 30 minutes waiting to pay and leave the place.

Came here for drinks on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing! Great crowd. Nice atmosphere and decorations. Cocktails were delicious. We ended up ordering some food as well which was great - so many things on the menu looked delicious. Overall everyone very relaxed.

Serves only pancakes and cocktails until 2, just what we needed after a heavy night before. Love the quirky decor with light bulb filled lights and brickwork showing. Service was great and the food even better. They did the bacon just as we asked, tea and coffee was bottomless and we had maple syrup on tap mmmm!

I came here with a couple of friends before Xmas on a weeknight and again last night on a Saturday. Both times it's been very busy which is a testament to how good it is here. Great food and friendly service. The chimichurri steak is so tasty. Last night my friend and I had that, fishcakes, courgette fritters and 2 servings of the arancini risotto balls. It was all great food but the arancini were stand outs! Prices are fair too and it's a nice vibrant atmosphere in there. Will return again!

Really friendly staff and the bottomless brunch coffee is outstanding. Brunch menu are just pancakes but done really well and not oversized. Their after 2pm small plates menu looks excellent too. But cannot emphasise enough how friendly staff are. Will definitely go out of our way to go back!

Great place to eat, food was delicious and very filling. Courgette fritters are to die for! Fab customer service. It can get very busy but that adds to the character and charm of the place. Would definitely eat there again. Good value for money too.

I went with my family. They start lunch at 2 o' clock pm so do not ask before. Very small with few tables but spacious and with a good welcome. For my personal taste to much pepper or spices in general. But all the food ordered was delicious. Do not ask for many fried food selection at the same time. The kitchen is not able to cook many different dishes at the same time. Good experience as a customer even if I suggested to go maximum 4 people per table. Good.

Super trendy cocktail & tapas bar/restaurant. Great atmosphere. Great interior. Delicious tapas. I'm contemplating opening a bar in Brighton and if I do, I'd take a lot of ideas from this place! The service is also perfect, genuinely friendly. (If I had to find one negative - the wine is served in tumblers. But i'll get over that).

We, four of us, went on a Monday night. The bar was full but we were disappointed that our four burgers came out as two lots of two and so far apart in time I had finished mine by the time the next. We really felt identical meals should come out together. We were then told there would be a 15-20 minute wait for dessert which was in fact an hour wait so I missed my planned train home. One waitress was rather rude when we stopped her to ask what was happening - although credit where credit is due she apologised afterwards. We asked for a discount because of the delayed puddings and the waiter only took the service charge off. The food was good and the menu simple but interesting they just need to sort out an issue in the kitchen with getting food out.

Went here last night for an informal bite to eat with my partner. We sat at the bar - we hadn't booked - and had a great time. The service, wine, cocktails and food was all great. The salt and pepper squid and the mozzarella balls (I forget the actual name) were particularly notable.A great place with great decor in a great spot.

Any place that is packed on a Monday night – even if it is in currently trendy Brixton – must be doing something right.
