Very good location. Bad shared spaces and advice.

It’s really at the foot of the rails so the noise is constant and unpleasant. Cleanliness is average. The lockers do not close with certain types of padlocks, there is nothing to put your belongings in the bathrooms, breakfast is only available from 8 a.m. There is a charge for leaving your belongings.

The best place for a hostel! Yes, there is some noise because of the Waterloo Train Station, but you can still sleep very well. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean and private. The breakfast is simple but is good.

All god but the bathroom upstairs is atrocious, not clean, no way to wash hands besides going to the shower. To me cleanliness is important and it could really use some

Live music nights are excellent. We saw Roger Blackman, who plays a fine set of rock and blues covers, and his own material. Great bar and nice vibe

This now one of my favourite pubs in London to meet friends and family. Not only do they have great beers and a super friendly bar team but you can bring your own food which is a rarity anywhere yet alone central London! Not only that the Walrus sits on one of London's coolest yet under the radar streets and is 3 mins walk from Waterloo station. Do not judge by appearances....you've just found your new favourite pub in Waterloo!/. Highly recommended!

Eles só falavam inglês infelizmente, mas adorei me hospedar com vocês, proativos e gentis. Fiquei com medo por ser hostel de passar perrengues, mas foi ótimo. Muito bem localizado!

Tres bien place en bas d'une gare donc évidemment on entend les trains qui passent au dessus alors que je pensais aussi entendre Big Ben de plus le personnel est très sympa et l'avantage on rentre avec un code et non une carte ou une clé

⭕離Waterloo算蠻近的，不過underground最靠近的是Lambeth North，靠近倫敦眼、大笨鐘、泰晤士河畔這些都是可以徒步前往 ⭕沒有房卡或鑰匙，全部都是用電子密碼鎖，退房後可以寄放行李但要額外付費，有共用廚房 ❌淋浴間設計偏小且格局奇怪 ❌ 床位旁邊沒有插頭，有置物櫃但要自備鎖頭 ❌沒有電梯 ❌高架鐵路橋就在旁便會有火車經過的噪音

Complicated check-in,dark but big rooms,no toilet or shower in the room,no curtains on the bunk beds for privacy,broken lockers in the room,bedding wasn't fresh.Will not stay here again

Very clean, tidy, with friendly and helpful staff and great value. The building itself has an old historical charm as well.

La ubicación genial. Las habitaciones no están mal aunque la que me tocó para 4 era bastante pequeña y cuando coincidíamos todas había que hacer puzle para pasar. El colchón hundido. El desayuno 3 libras tipo buffet con lo básico. Lo que no me gustó fue parte del personal, te dicen que está abierto hasta las 23:00 pero a las 22:15 tocaron una especie de campana con fin de barra. Miércoles noche las chicas que trabajaban estaban ocupadas en sus cosas personales y con gusto les decían a la gente que está cerrado, incluso con burlas. Nos quedamos afuera un rato y vimos muchísima gente intentando entrar y ellas les decían que no y entre ellas se reían. Tampoco se puede usar la cocina y no hay una zona donde se pueda socializar. Una pena.

La ubicación inmejorable. Es una calle peatonal y de lunes a viernes ponen un mercado de comida de varios países, La calle de los gráfitis al lado. Muy cerca las paradas de casi todas las lineas de autobos, y el metro igual.. Casi detrás ell big ben y london eye. El personal, muy bien. El ambiente es bueno, tocan música en vivo en el bar. Lo único que no me gustó fue mi colchón, hundido en el medio y terminé con dolor de espalda. El desayuno cuesta 3 euros, tiene lo basico. Si tienes que guardar más tiempo el equipaje también cuesta 3 euros.

Precio calidad, aceptable tiene duchas y desayuno por 3 libras mas

Muy bien ubicado, barrio alternativo moderno y con futuro, ustedes sencillo, limpio y con estilo. Por poner una pega, el sonido de las habitaciones continuas (nos tocó la habitación Blue), aunque se insonorizara, escuchamos perfectamente los vecinos (menos mal que no eran ruidosos) es un lugar para llegar dejar las cosas y salir y solo volver a pegarte una ducha dormir y al día siguiente desayunar y volver a salir… El desayuno está bastante bien con zumo, cereales, tostadas y mermeladas con mantequilla y marmaid Estuvimos dos días y siete un día para otro, por lo menos no hubiesen cambiado las toallas, hubiese sido ideal.

Ubicación perfecta, tanto para el aeropuerto (el bus te deja a 5 mint de ahí) como para el centro, andando o en bus. La gente que curra ahí es muy agradable. Las camas cómodas aunque a los baños le hacen falta algún que otro arreglo.

Grande maison avec une belle atmosphère anglaise. Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant. On fait attention de réserver via le site pour avoir le petit déjeuner gratuit (pain céréales fruits et boissons) ! Petits bémol pour l'absence d'une véritable salle commune et pour l'impression de poussière dans le dortoir. En revanche les salles de bain sont impeccable ! On vous fournit des bouchons d'oreilles neufs, pas de refus car le train passe juste à côté... Autrement la rue est très sympa avec de nombreux cafés, supermarchés et restos abordables

Lovely interior, location, service and great beer wine, etc choices

Pretty basic but great location for South Bank. They give you foam earplugs as it's right next to the train tracks which was good. Beds and bedding are basic but clean. Bring your own padlock to use the lockers. Also there are no lifts, just stairs.

While they were lovely on the phone. They cancelled my booking because my original payment method didn’t go through. This was one day before. I thought it would be paid on arrival but was charged I guess the day before. They stated they sent two emails but I had received one with the room cancelled within approximately two hours of the first email. Just an unfortunate situation but left me without accommodation the day before.

Hostel muito bem localizado, limpo, barato, ótima estrutura. Café da manhã barato e bom. Banheiros limpos e bom chuveiro, sempre tem um disponível. Muito bom!

The Walrus Hostel offers a very basic and no-frills accommodation experience. I stayed at this hostel for three nights in September. Unfortunately, the bathrooms had issues with bugs, lockers were in disrepair, and the noise from passing trains was constant, except for a relatively quiet period from about 1:30 to 5 am. I’ve decided to give this hostel more than one star primarily because the staff was friendly and the location couldn’t be more convenient. However, overall, I regret my stay due to the hostel’s poor maintenance and would have preferred spending a bit more for better accommodations, even if they were further from central London.

Went there for a quick, lovely decorated, service quick and lots of seating inside and out.

Nous sommes restées 3 nuits, dans le grand dortoir commun. Les locaux sont propres, bien sécurisés. Pensez bien à prendre votre cadenas, ou sinon on peut en acheter à la réception. Idem pour les serviettes de toilette ou les boules quies. Le personnel est très disponible, très gentil et de bon conseil. Petit déjeuner copieux le matin, pas trop cher pour Londres. Le soir, le bar est très sympa, nous avons assisté à 2 concerts très sympas ! Attention, espèces non acceptées, donc il faut tout payer en carte au jour le jour, pas « d’ardoise » à la fin du séjour. À refaire sans hésiter :)

Visited here for a good few hours Saturday afternoon into evening. Great friendly pub with a really nice vibe. Very clean and tidy, great choice of things on tap all reasonably priced. Great choice of music too!

Needed a no nonsense drink or two on Saturday night, 100 yards from the 'Nox Hotel' Lower Marsh, I enjoyed the vibe good rock music, not too loud, beers were good, real ale and Guinness.

Tiene un ambiente estudiantil y desenfadado a unos precios razonables teniendo en cuenta la zona. A nosotros nos sirvió para relajarnos después de un día de pateó por la ciudad.

El hostal es un lugar de promedio bajo. Es barato y es lo que uno tiene que repetirse en la cabeza una y otra y otra vez mientras se está aquí. Tiene una muy buena ubicación y supongo que eso es lo más destacado de este lugar. No tienen ni un lugar como para guardar o cocinar alimentos lo que te obliga a comer siempre fuera. La verdad eso no lo esperaba de un hostal ya que es uno de los puntos principales a conciderar al momento de realizar la reservación.

Entramos a tomarnos unas pintas, el pub está muy cerca del London Eye. Ambiente joven y mobiliario vintage tirando a trastos viejos. Tienen también habitaciones. Justo enfrente hay una tienda Coop.

This is a bar with a hostel upstairs / on side. The staff were super friendly and walked me up. Shower had great water pressure and plentiful hot water. WiFi was average...better at night. 15% discount at the bar. Breakfast was good. Real butter! 😍Nice homey feel and authentic british experience. One centralized electricity extension...& they pick your bunk for you. The showers and bathrooms on all floors were full (1 on each floor).

Friendly pub that does offers - not the widest range of beers but usually has something worthwhile on tab. Relaxed, easy going with young staff. Has linked hostel (and a twin up the road in the more sophisticated Horse and Stables

I went to the Walrus as a pub (it is also a hostel) for a few years and the place is great! The beer is good, they have a wide range of cocktails and spirits. It has a friendly, slightly bohemian vibe with a younger crowd and the staff are generally really friendly. They play good tunes and most sports games on terrestrial TV on the big screens. As its also a hostel you can meet people from all over the world as they come and go. They do an amazing shot called the Michael Jackson which i could recommend.

The staff was fun, couches really cozy and they had a good variety of beers and cocktails. Do recommend.

Atmosphere is relaxing. Bar service was good. Drinks selection was good as well. Didn't have time to order any food - not sure of selection.

Was on my way back to my hotel after a long day when I had the good fortune to stumble into The Walrus. It's a nice cozy pub which has a very low key feeling. I had a couple of reasonably priced beers and soaked in the atmosphere. If you're looking for a simple pub just of the beaten track, The Walrus is a pretty good choice.

Un lugar muy agradable para tomar algo después de trabajar, nunca me he quedado en el albergue, pero si quieres una buena ubicación céntrica, este sería difícil de superar! ! Cerca de 3 estaciones de metro y en la calle con tiendas de café estupendo otros bares y restaurantes muy cerca. ! Fantástico personal! !

Ci sono stato per un paio di birre il locale all'interno non è molto curato ma era pieno di gente allegra che lo rende molto accogliente. Birre molto buone

Un buen lugar para tomarse una copa. Los camareros atienden bien y está bien situado al tener a cinco minutos una gran estación de metro y tren.

Típico pub britânico, atendimento muito bom e bebidas no ponto. Não pedi nada para comer, pois achei um pouco caro. Fica muito bem localizado, a aproximadamente uns 700 metros do London Eye.

Me hospede en el hostel, y fui al bar todas las noches a tomar una cerveza. En precio y con descuento para los huespedes. Lindo ambiente, muy after office londinense que se mezclan con los turistas.

Nos fuimos para una cerveza y estuvimos un poco más de soo. Sentimientos relajado con todas sofás, mesas y sillas, como una gran sala.... El pub sirven buenos cócteles, cerveza y disparos a un gran penny. Casi no queríamos dejar este lugar.

Despite being the bar for the Walrus Hostel this relaxed and lively little bar seems equally popular with locals as it is with the staying guests. Couple of real ales on hand pumps plus all the usual pubby stuff and prices very reasonable considering this is central London. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Pub muito agradável, rústico, com bom atendimento. Sofás, mesas e bancos no balcão dão um toque especial no local. Preço normal para os níveis londrinos.

We popped in for a beer, its a nice old pub that has not been taken over by big business and has a relaxed atmosphere. As a stong anti smoker the tables outside piled high with smelly butts was a bit of a deal breaker for me so i only stayed for a quick beer and moved on.

É um ótimo pub, tem um cardápio bacana, o melhor é definitivamente o staff e o ambiente, bem tipicamente londrino, mas, à época que fui, achei os preços um pouco salgados, mas cá pra nós, o que não é salgado em Londres? Se estiver no Hostel, é "obrigatória" a parada, mas se eu não estivesse lá, não sei se voltaria.

A busy bar which also holds a hostel for travellers, usually from abroad. Friendly place where a few drinks will not cost a fortune.

Останавливались здесь перед Новым годом. Милый хостел с очень приятными хозяевами и персоналом, недалеко от метро и вокзала Waterloo, но при этом в тихом месте. До условного центра - 5 минут на автобусе (остановка прямо у входа в хостел) или 15 пешком. Из плюсов: отзывчивый персонал, хороший завтрак, месторасположение, чистые номера. Первый на моей памяти хостел, где есть даже ванны!! На третьем и четвертом этаже, так что можно открыть окно и любоваться поездами, идущими на вокзал (ну а вдруг). Вряд ли вы доставите кому-то дискомфорт, потому что туалетов и душевых кабинок на каждом этаже по несколько штук.Минусы: очень холодный туалет на втором этаже и неприятный душ в общей комнате там же.В остальном - однозначно стоит уплаченных денег!

Sin dudas lo mejor que tiene este Bar/Hostel es su ubicación. No hay ninguno mejor ubicado en un rango de precios muy económicos. Personal super servicial. Los trenes de la estacion Waterloo pasan a metros, durante las 24hs, pero en mi caso particular no me molestaron para nada.

Mucho mejor bar que hostel. Buen ambiente, bueno tragos, buena atención, pero solo si se está de paso, hay muchos mejores bares en Londres.

Bar cómodo, sobretodo si te hospedas ahí mismo. La atención y los precios son aceptable, no recomendaría buscarlo si uno no está de paso por la zona.

We happened in to the Walrus and it ended up being one of our favorite stops in London. The bar is a comfy mix of eclectic couches and chairs. The servers were great and made us some of the best drinks we had during our visit. The prices are reasonable compared to the touristy spots and the crowd is a great mix of locals and travelers who are staying in the inn above the bar. I will come back here on my next visit.

este pub que tbm eh um hostel tem aqueles sofas tipo friends e vc se joga e vai bebendo e compartilhando experiencias com gente do mundo todo e na maioria com londrinos... so bebidas e no maximo chips ...

No idea why appears under "restaurants". It seems they don't sell food. Decent beers and pleasant staff. A bit noisy, but maybe that reflects my age.

Prices were good, but I would not rate it near the top of the "food chain". I probably would not go back unless it was just for drinks.

Muy buen rollito...bien situado....una acogida muy familiar en Londres...la regla es q te cuidan...se cuida al huésped..y se le regalan detalles..q no se tendrían porqué hacer...un oasis cálido en una gran ciudad..q dentro de poco estará fría... Debe contagiarse a los huéspedes la calidez porque sólo me encontré con gente genial, de México, argentina, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Escocia, Londres, Moscú...cada uno de su padre y madre, multiedad, felices compartiendo conocimientos, historias, penas, sueños y planes..Los dormitorios con literas mixtos, están limpios..sabanas limpias..y yo dormí genial las cuatro noches..super respetuoso todo el mundo..banhos suficientes, duchas cómodas..cocina para departir y compartiryo no me encontré tan en casa de viaje en Europa nuncaun placer conoceros
