Excellent cocktails and service.

Beautiful venue in a great location. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We had a lovely time with friends and enjoyed the live music!

Been at hotel for a week and frequently visit Primo, professional and welcoming team - thanks to Plamen, Mery, Liviu, Carlos, Noel, Mattia, Claudiu, Audrey, Massimo, Denis and Valentinos for always making me feel I am at home ! Look forward to coming back soon !

Primo is basically the Park Plaza Hotel's lobby bar. It's a vast area, impersonal and uninviting. It charges stupid prices for most drinks, most especially cocktails and, if you are a beer drinker and have a taste for what Britain does best, there's no Cask Ale on offer. Avoid.

I just ate the over priced Thai green curry which is served with basmati rice. Very bland, the chicken not even marinaded more like boiled chicken added to some kind of sauce. Very disappointed

We came several evenings during our stay at Park Plaza, and found the cocktails excellent! Smiling and friendly welcome. Clean but still warm setting. We will come back !

Amazing food selection, drinks were so reasonably priced for area and staff we’re very attentive

Decided to use the Primo bar as a meeting place for pre-lunch cocktails. I tried to ask a passing waitress, the only one I could see there, if we should go up to the bar instead, which was about 5 deep at this time, but she rushed passed, as I said "excuse me please" giving an abrupt word, which I didn't hear. Looking at the unsmiling faced guests around us we decided this was not a good place to start our birthday lunch and left. What a shame, The Park Plaza let us down again.

We stayed at The Park Plaza for our wedding anniversary. We visited the primo bar . Habib our sever was very nice and very kind. He helped us with the food after hours . Overall it is a nice atmosphere . Ask for Habib , highly recommend him as your server.

I recently stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London, and ordered drinks and dinner at the Primo lounge within the hotel. It is a very nice atmosphere and our waiter, Cenk, was so attentive and accommodating. The food was very good, hot, and a good value. I very much appreciated his hospitality as well as all the staff’s efforts to make our stay a memorable experience.

If you like live music by talented musicians and a good vibe, then Primo is the place to go! It serves good drinks but food can be better. Though it offer a very good variety to choose from but the quality has room for improvement. It enjoys a great location at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Road. The ambience and the vibe of great live music covers for its shortcomings very nicely!

After a day of tours and you just want to go back to the hotel, Primo Bar is an easy place to dine for good food and drinks.

This is my husband and me first time coming to this restaurant definitely will recommend. The waitress was so lovely and very welcoming thank you Gessica for your help. Will see you soon because I will definitely be back.

Very nice atmosphere with lovely relaxing music. All staff members are very attentive to guests and visitors. The place is very clean which is very important. Especially I would like to mention Oxana she went above and beyond. From the beginning, she greeted us upon arrival with a warm and beautiful smile and looked after us all evening. Many Thanks, we will definitely come back soon.

It was so unbearably hot in London. Not earth-shattering news, I know, but my husband and I were spending the first day of our vacation walking along the Thames like panting bloodhounds. When we were coming off Westminster Bridge to get back to Southwark, I noticed the Park Plaza Hotel ahead of us. I was thinking, "Surely they must have something to wet our whistles in the midst of hell on earth." So we passed by all the Wimbledon paraphernalia and found this tony-looking lounge. Truth be told, it wasn't really our vibe. We're not all that sophisticated, and since Primo is actually a nightclub with live music shows, it was empty at 4PM. However, the bar is open 24/7, and the cocktail menu was gratefully quite robust. We clearly found our nirvana, at least for the next hour or so. My husband ordered the £13.50 Pina Gin Zing, quite an exotic mix of Beefeater 24 gin, pineapple purée, and green sencha tea. It was pretty tasty with the zing most accurately described. I went low voltage with the £11.50 Japanese Pimms which added midori, tonic, and dried citrus fruits to the mellow Pimms. It was a masterstroke really as it lent some of my motherland to one of my favorite refreshing cocktails. Honestly, the experience was so relaxing that we were thinking we could maybe avoid facing the late afternoon heat. But alas, hotel guests were starting to fill the lounge. It was nice while it lasted.

Not the best cocktails for value, but it is a good place to chat with colleagues after work.

Good place with good food and drinks.

Staff were SO helpful, friendly and service was quick. Visited the bar 2 of 3 nights that I stayed at Park Plaza. We loved how chilled out and comfy it was and the table service was great too! Drinks were lovely, and it was great we could bring our drinks to our room, which was nice after a long day out.

Great staff and good service but furniture is my pet hate - too low to sit on comfortably. We had a couple of good hours there, but no TV, no sports, no news etc. etc.

Having visited here, whilst a patron of the attached hotel, with my other half I can wholeheartedly say I'm underwhelmed and unimpressed. To start, we went late, assuming the bar was 24hours as there is 24/7 bar room service. This was a mistake on our behalf as the bar itself closes (relatively early) and the room service is a hugely reduced menu. However the first words out of the "host's" mouth were "we are closing in 15 minutes so you can have one drink" Which itself may not be seen as improper, however, we were not greeted, not welcomed, not even hello'd. The first thing that was said was that we were limited to one drink and the bar closes soon. Maybe I'm being precious here, but this immediately left a bad taste in my mouth. The next thing was we were shown to the closest table to the door, right next to a larger table whom were clearly well into a good night of drinking (which is great, and I hope they had a lovely night unlike ourselves) but as anyone in the trade should know, couples shouldn't be sat right next to larger parties. Not only this, but the table they tried to sit us on, was directly in the middle of the Hotel's lobby and the bar. The kind of table you give someone (whilst everything is empty) to remind them where the door is. When I questioned if there was another, more suitable table (There were. Many.) I was told "okay" and the genial just walked off. So we found our own table. Next we had just sat down and got comfy, picked up two menus, to be immediately greeted with "what can I get you". Now this part I wasn't even annoyed at, at that exact moment, they had let us know we could only have one and there was an immediate desire to shut the bar. However I wasn't even halfway through their extensive menu, and we felt heavily rushed. When I asked for another single minute, half expecting at this point to have him stand there and wait, he huffed audibly and announced that when I was ready to order he would also drop the bill to be paid immediately. Again, although entirely rude and unnecessary, we were prepared to be put through a fast track line to allow them to finish their shifts. A few minutes later after trying to catch attention of a few people to allow them to take our order, someone finally begrudgingly came over to take it. Our drinks and bill were raced over to us along with a card machine. No surprise, as London, there was added service charge. 25% of our small bill. I contemplated refusing it, however I knew the bartenders were working hard to make good cocktails and I had no qualms with them, I left it as it was. Then comes the 2 moments that pushed a few bad service choices into just a abysmal experience. After being told all of this, and reminded that the bar was closed after our drinks were made. I watched as the same genial/server ordered more drinks for tables sat near the bar. And THEN watched in amazement as the host allows a new couple in, seats them (in good seats) get them menus, attend to them and, when their drinks were taken over, I saw no evidence of a bill taken alongside it. I know the server saw the look in my face and from that point refused to make eye-contact with me again. We then caught someones attention and asked if we could just take our drinks to our room and left. Feeling very bitter about the entire experience. And certainly not how we expected to be treated whilst spending near £200 a night to be there. However on that note, I have to say the Park Plaza, the staff, the room and the food, were utterly excellent. And could not fault a second of any of my experience there.

Came here for a quick snack whilst staying at the hotel. Food was well presented and tasty. Certainly worth a visit if in the vicinity.

I went there last Tuesday with my best friend- they provided us a really good food and drinks, friendly and nice service. I loved the experience and for sure I will be back! :)

The service here is so poor. The waitress was extremely rude and rather indifferent, I asked her for an additional menu since she gave us one to share between 3 people and she shrugged her shoulders like I had asked for something extraordinary. The prices are over priced for the quality, a poor quality bottle of Prosecco is £40, and despite getting two bottles they kept trying to rush us out. It was very rude. On top of this they expect you to pay service charge for their rather low quality service ! <br /><br />I don’t think we will be coming here again.

Decor is nice. More of a transient bar for travellers at the hotel. Great drinks. Service was slow and painful in explaining multiple times. Food didn&#039;t look great. No live music witnesses the main reason for coming.

El 08/02/2020 habíamos reservado para 5 personas a las 8. 30 para mi cumpleaños. y cuando llegué le pregunté al gerente que podría quedarse con mi pastel hasta que lo pida? ella respondió porque en el momento de la reserva no mencionaste que tienes pastel, no podemos excepto. y tampoco tenemos suficiente espacio. así que guardé el pastel toda la noche incluso ella me informó que cobrarán por alguien que traiga pastel y también tienen que firmar la deflación.

I had resivation for 8.30pm on 08/02/2020 For my birthday for five people I arrived early and I had my cake with me I asked the manager to leave the cake with them she informed me ,because I wasn't mentioned over the phone the time of booking so she can't except it.so she was informed me that they don't have space to keep my cake I end up to kept my cake on my table .

I spent a fun evening here and received friendly service from very attentive and helpful barstaff. A very cool bar & music venue with a compact stage/live area - good sounding PA not excessively loud in front of a comfortable seating area. Relaxing chilled environment to visit & unwind after a busy day. Open late. Easy access to plug sockets to charge a phone was handy.

Oh my goodness.... I love this bar BUT the entertainment has gone DOWN it was like being at Butlins. Please have Jazz or Pianist. It would be more fitting.

We were a group of 12 who came for a coffee and catch up. I had booked on OpenTable. When we arrived, the staff did not seem interested in greeting us and I had to find a waiter who seemed irritated. I explained I had booked and he eventually found my name but then said the table was for 2 people. I showed him my booking and he agreed to seat us. It took a while to get enough &#039;pouf&#039; stools together to make a big enough grouping and then half of us were perched quite uncomfortably. The drinks came in twos and threes and it took half an hour before everyone had a coffee. The drinks were not hot and were fairly expensive for a small cup of luke warm coffee. The atmosphere was OK and, once we were seated and had drinks, we were able to have a good catch up as planned. We wouldn&#039;t book to come back, but perhaps the staff would prefer we didn&#039;t anyway - it did feel like we were quite an irritation for them, despite the bar area being pretty quiet on a Wednesday lunchtime.

Comprehensive spirit menu. Great list of cocktails which are available and the prices were just about right. Snack menu was perfect and catered for all. Great way to spend the afternoon when waiting for our room to become available.

A very chilled bar with great music. I only had one cocktail which was a bit overpriced considering it wasn&#039;t very big and had no kick at all. But the wine list, whilst not that long, covers most different wallet sizes. Been twice. First time we had the Asian sharing platter. Not good value for money as there wasn&#039;t very much to share and it was like something I could have bought in a packet at Iceland. The second time the Club Sandwich was very good and more than enough for two people. In summay, nice atmosphere, quality musicians, seating comfortably apart so no overcrowding. Recommend wine and a sandwich as opposed to the expensive cocktail and sharing platter alternative.

We visited the bar today as non residents of the hotel, food was nice , but the staff was just rude ,probably because we were not staying in the Hotel, if that’s hotel policy then don’t let anyone in who is not staying in the Hotel, very bad for such a class Hotel

Nice venue for live music, drinks and a light bite. We have had several extended stays at this hotel and are quite impressed at the high quality of the music talent and variety at Primo. Go into the smaller back room where the performers are ,rather than hanging in the larger front rooms with the noisy groups and families.

Fab place to spend a Saturday night! Great singer, good table service and friendly vibe!

The best part obviously was the singer. Primo Bar’s area is very cozy and nice. Comfy seats, olive that we ordered we’re not good. The asian waitress that served us seemed annoyed, unwelcoming and cold. Sometimes she would ignore guests by walking past them. At one point 6-7 irish men joined the bar by ruining the atmosphere (we felt like in a pub). We weren’t the only ones who felt annoyed by them. Shame that nothing was done about it since obviously they ruined one hour of pleasure listening to the singer. Overall, would come back for the music and ambience, but some improvements can be easily implemented.

It was a delightful evening, the live band of the evening suited the atmosphere and the service was at very high standard. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a romantic getaway.

I booked a stay in the hotel for my partner and I for this 30th birthday. Best decision I ever made. Even with or without london eye view the rooms are incredible, staff from the bar and restaurant are incredible! We really enjoy our stay here especially the breakfast, lunch or just for dinner or just mid night snacks are do die for! Thanks chef!!!!!

The Paw patrol experience was a let down, it looked nothing like the pictures &amp; wasn’t a child friendly environment. We expected a room not the actual bar where we could hear business meetings. It’s took 5 members of staff to finally direct us as no one had a clue about this. And when we were taken to our seats nothing was said apart from please be seated &amp; we just sat &amp; waited for the rack to be delivered. A place mat &amp; edible stickers is what I could’ve done at home, you advertised scones there were none just muffins &amp; has any of the staff tried the layered jelly? It was so sour &amp; other parents were all in agreement. Also there were fruit flies hovering around spent my time flapping them away &amp; this is inside! It’s all laced with sugar but no drinks were provided &amp; had to be bought separately. Luckily enough my son is a bit young to remember this disappointment unlike the other family who were evidently upset &amp; left most of of their food untouched. Had you set this up like the paw patrol play room then that would’ve been the experience but this had no atmosphere what’s so ever &amp; I feel I wasted my money on this

After 30 minutes, we had to ask for food again. Apologies offered and given a free bowl of olives! Hmmm! Food arrived 40 minutes from original order being taken. The food was great, very tasty and fresh! Ordered 2 Jack D’s and coke for night cap! Only one arrived ?? Head barman spotted our frustration, came and apologised and explained the staff were new, foreign and under training! I think they need more! He did reduce the bill slightly and offered to take off the included 10% service charge, but it was still added st the till !!!!<br />Pity as the live music was very good, Mandy and the Mood Swings! Very good! They were main reason for staying until the end. <br />Doubt if we’ll be back

Arrived for vacation along with a tour of London and the surrounding areas. After a long couple days had dinner at Primo Bar at the Park Plaza Westminster not once but twice. Truly was exceptional. You can only make one first impression and Lumi our waitress and server was fantastic. Not only was she accommodating she was professional and honestly made us feel warm and welcome. Her dinner recommendations were spot on and she honestly made us feel at home. The food was excellent and only the service was better.Lumi was brilliant! Sign her up. Thoroughly enjoyed.

We had a brilliant evening. We were only going to stay for a drink but we loved the acoustic duo - Niixo or Nicoletto they were so talented and he was an amazing singer so we stayed until late! We enjoyed trying the different sharing platters too - a great night!

Este bar es grande, cómodo y en un anexo (aunque puedes estar donde sea que te sientes) hay música en vivo a las 9 pm cada noche. El tributo a Sinatra fue especialmente bueno, ¡podría haber sido el propio Buble! El personal fue atento y se aseguró de que tomaras una copa cuando quisieras, pero no te molestaban constantemente. Buena elección de cervezas de barril también.

Wonderful environment. We had a fantastic evening and we were looked after so professionally by Alex making our Birthday treat so very special. <br />After so many years of visiting, the Primo has maintained its service, Entertainment a style. The whole Experiance is one I would recommend to anyone.<br />Alex thanks again.

Amazing place to watch live performance for all kind of genre

This is surprisingly nice for a hotel bar. They have live music that was very good. The service is fast and friendly. We just had drinks and nachos but they were quite tasty. Prices decent considering London and in a hotel.

The bar is beautiful, with stylish furniture and nicely laid out. The drinks were great and the chairs comfortable. The only slight negative is that despite booking a space for 5pm, no one came to take our orders once seated, despite been told we’d have a waiter. In the end, we waited 20mins and then asked to be served, which was a bit of a let down. Overall though, staff were friendly, and it’s a cool venue.

Great cocktails and atmosphere, and the live band were fantastic. Not overpowering.<br /><br />Prices were a little steep but not excessively so.<br /><br />The service was excellent so I don&#039;t object to the service charge being included in the bill, but 12.5% is rather high.

Was staying at the hotel with my husband and really like the idea of the love band while we had drinks and food. Had a lovely lady called Maria looking after our table who was very helpful while I went back and forth over the menu trying to find something I could eat. Also came over to see if everything was ok even when it got very busy. Will be going again.

This Bar in our Hotel was Excellent. We had Great Cocktails as well as a Finger Food Platter with Chicken Wings and Several Types of Potatoes and Chicken. I strongly recommend.

Nous n'avons pas mis un excellent en raison juste du délai pour prendre notre commande et du peu de disponibilité des serveurs pourtant ce n'était pas le rush.

Apenas o drink de aperol com mango estava bom. Mesmo assim, caro e vrem pouca quantidade. O Kirroyal estava quente, acima da temperatura padrão para um espumante. Comi um kebab cuja única explicação era ser de frango e carneiro. Estava hiper, super apimentado. Intragável.

Our seats were at the bar area. Not easy to eat a proper meal where the table is knee height. Overpriced bar food.

We stayed at the hotel for a 3-day city break and thoroughly enjoyed the service. Thursday night at Primo Bar was definitely one of the highlights of this trip - great cocktails, live music, and our hostess Ana-Maria was very lovely, answering all our questions and always checking on us during our stay. Will definitely come back to Primo whenever we visit London again.

Not only I had great cocktails, the music was surprisingly good and the staff top notch. The hostess was so friendly and always had a smile on her face. Made me feel very welcomed. I highly recommend and will be certainly back:)

Had dinner here while staying at hotel with our family. Conrad was our waiter and did an excellent job explaining our menu and services. We had the cheese tray and break baskets before meal and they were delicious. As with many of our meals, sides are extra. The desserts were awesome. They have a special menu with appetizer, meal and dessert for one cost that is excellent.

First time at Primo Bar. Excellent entertainment. Very nice surroundings staff were nice and helpful. Would recommend a night at Primo Bar

It’s a hotel bar in a sleek, corporate hotel in a desolate spot by the Thames. The singer &amp; musician were good, but the atmosphere was what one would expect in an impersonal hotel bar. The wait staff seemed exhausted. If you’re not a hotel guest, don’t bother.
