Great place just off the cut with friendly helpful staff.

I go in to this pub a lot. Not just for the pub but for the staff too. Montana is specifically a standout at the pub. 10/10 service always

Been before but the venue location suited us all travel wise. Great day for weather and good seating outside in the warm. Always enjoyed the beer and food here, all of which choices are great. Served by Heather who had great humour and really seemed to go out of her way to look after us. It isn't hard to be friendly and polite to people but so few do. She was the exception. Well done Heather, an asset.

Great pub, amazing selection. Massive outdoor area in front and side of the pub. The atmosphere is amazing, people will stand around as tables get too busy. The bar itself it to crowded and small to serve this massive number of people, could be a long wait between pints. Also had a great cocktail selection

Pasta portions were super small. Were asked to pay upon ordering outside. Overpriced but convenient location.

What a gem of a pub.....few minutes walk from Waterloo Station.....hidden under the trees which provided shade and a secluded area to catch up with friends.... Food was amazing....highly recommend the fish finger sandwich....and our waitress Heather was brilliant.....funny, friendly and attentive..... Will definitely be back

Waitress misunderstood the order and had to retake it. When brought to the table she handed the wrong alcoholic drinks to the guests who ordered non-alcoholic ones and didn't realise until she brought the remainder of the drinks, by which time they had already started to drink them.

This pub is in an excellent location, it is extremely popular so reservations are highly recommended. The staff were all polite, friendly and thoughtful. We received wonderful service all evening. The food was absolutely amazing. Compliments to all staff in the kitchen, our food was on time, hot and very tasty. I recommend the scotch egg starter and the Guiness pie! Really great place, excellent customer service!

Super busy for the England match making it hard to get to the bar (not the pubs fault obviously) but the barmen were on the ball and got people served quickly. Decent Guinness, good outside space

Nice food, reasonable service, definitely not unlimited Yorkshire puddings (easier to get blood from a stone).

Service is a bit slow from waiters taking orders to food being derved. However, the food was delicious, fresh, and worth the money. Sunday roast is definitely a win here!!

Great pub with a good outdoor area! Gets busy in the summer, but you'll def get a table in the garden if you're patient (not a bad idea to book one though!)

Nice pub with a large outdoor area and which handled a large crowd very well.

Says online they serve food to certain time but when asked at the bar, kitchen had closed 2 hours prior. Don’t go off online timings, best to ask in person. Calling doesn’t work as no one answers. Other than that, always looks busy and decent place for quick drink.

Rotating Cask ales. Fantastic outdoor seating area (reservable). Nice little restaurant space at the back. Bangers and mash was a little lacking.

Outstanding food!! Fish and chips were amazing, Short rib pie amd mash were wonderful and seared seabream was a hit! Save room for dessert. This pub was just across the street from the Hampton Inn at Waterloo and made a great start to our first day in London

Good beer, even better food and amazing staff.

We meet up with friends we had not seen in years and the waitresses were so good and let us chat for a bit. We were all happy with our food. Kids loved their chocolate brownies. Service and food fantastic. Give the two waitresses a plug and a raise!!

One of the best roast dinners in London I've had. Reasonable prices. Staff are all lovely. Great pub!

Ordered a bottle of picpoul and was left with a glass full of sediment. For a £30 a bottle of wine, it’s quite expensive! We brought this to the attention of the bar staff, but was met with the fact that their supplier had told them it was a dodgy batch, and they tried to argue that this was normal for picpoul. Knowing it is not we asked for. The bartended was incredibly rude, Almost blaming us for drinking it & not noticing sooner. Big shame, I should get what I paid for, not a knock off version! the pub cares more about money than customer satisfaction. Quantity over quality.

What a lovely pub! I'm visiting from Australia and a local friend brought me here. The food was excellent and I certainly can't fault the service as it was very friendly particularly the girl from Canada and the girl from Liverpool who both had great senses of humour and genuinely cared that we had a good experience. Will be back!

Booked table for my birthday we were outside The staff here are so very helpful and lovely Nothing is too much for them and the food is very good . A few of us the roast pork belly which was delicious, fish and chips big and cooked perfectly We also ordered some of the starters which were great too The kids meals were the same standard Would like to say a big thank you to the lady who severed us ( sorry I don’t know your name Had an American accent ) She made everything go smoothly We have used this pub several times and always bern satisfied Keep up the good work always a pleasure when we come See you soon

Just popped in for a pint. It's a lovely pub right next to a park. On a sunny day it's probably rammed! Stone's throw from the station too!

Need more staff on the bar on a Friday night. Bar team should not have to walk out and be shown which table to send food too. Grab a sharpie and number your tables as a temp fix. Food and service sound.

The manager didn't seem friendly but the rest was good apart from the broken lock in the men's toilet

All draft beers were off. Not even the ubiquitous goto of Doom Bar could be salvaged. When we arrived, the bar was three deep with only two people serving. Cocktails slowed service down even further. Numbers rallied later in the evening. Its trying to be too many things to too many people.

As an American, I had to try Sunday dinner and it was very good. Desserts were also good.

I booked this venue for a birthday celebration (Chichester room) and it was great all round. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The canapés were amazing. It was such a good location and decent value. We were able to have the room for a decent time and they let us play our own music and decorate as we wanted. I'd totally recommend and use again!

Booked a table for 6 on Sunday for a birthday celebration. Away from the sports screen and madness. They let me bring in a cake and light the candle for no additional cost. Food was nice, above average. Scotch egg was a miss. Fish croquettes were👌 The place wasn’t packed and they let us stay well over the original 2 hour window which was nice.

Friendly pub will be coming back when next around.

We had such a fantastic lunch today to celebrate a birthday. The service was fantastic, nothing was too much and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious - we will definitely come back. Thankyou so much!

Busy because we went on mother day, staff very friendly and professional, food arrived in good time and was very good and excellent value. Will definatly go again but wont have breakfast that day because no room for puffing.Good selection of beers and house coctails

A pub of two halves. During the afternoon it's mostly locals slipping a pint. In the evening it's rammed with office types. Extensive beer garden in the front (watch out for the step down). Good service with most pints around £7 which it seems is the new average for central London. Been here twice recently and will go again.

First time visit. Beer was ok. Batter on the cod would’ve withstood a nuclear bomb and cost almost as much. Wouldn’t rush back.

Toilets up flight of stairs makes this not suitable for some disabled customers

Booked a table for 12 upstairs on a Sunday. The place was busy so I would advise to book. Super quick service. Great food including Sunday roasts and fish and chips which was popular (and recommended).

The food at this place is amazingly good . It might just seem like bangers and mash but it's unreal. Beyond tasty . Food elevated to a higher level. Service was great and location really handy for Waterloo / Southbank. Good beer selection too in the adjoining pub .

Popular spot with wide drink selection and plenty on tap, including satisfying London Pride. Superb seared seabream, butternut squash couscous salad, and roasted chicken. Swell kids menu. Nice service. Many tables reserved, booking ahead highly recommended during peak weekend times. High end and cozy. Dog friendly.

Nice Gastropub outside of Waterloo Station. Good selection of beer and really nice food (recommmend the steak and guiness pie). They even put up with a rugby stag do of 20 blokes in fishy hats for a few hours. Hope we didn't frighten the regulars.

London and New Year's Eve on the street, great spot to see the fireworks display as tickets were sold out.

Interesting spot near waterloo station that looks better than it smells. We stopped by to grab a glass of wine and some pork crackling sticks for a quick drink and snack on a slow day. Service was quick and wonderful. The wine selection didn't seem very high quality although there were some niche options. We asked for a wine from Spain and were generally disappointed with it. The pork crackling bar snack came varying in texture. Some being nice, crunchy, and crispy, others strangely soggy. Not a dealbreaker though even though it was just alright. The weird part of everything was the smell throughout the first floor. Trying not to be too vulgar, it smelled what I would imagine it would be like at the horse guards parade.

The veggie Sunday Lunch was absolutely delightful and I really enjoyed! Would love to revisit and try more from the main menu, plus the manager was very handsome so that's always a reason to re-visit!

Giacomo was absolutely fantastic and brightened up our Sunday evening! The beer was crisp and the vibes were right. Loved it, will be back again.

Friendly service and delicious food...

15 of us enjoyed this pub for the first time as we embraced the 22 degree summer weather outside under garden umbrellas. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The specials and especially the pork belly bites and peri peri chicken burger were next level beats! The only eye watering moment was, when I had to pay the Bill....ouch!

Great place to meet up with friends, not far from Waterloo station. Good selection of drinks and food. The atmosphere was good and very Christmassy. Although it was busy we did find a place to sit down outside ( a bit chilly) and then inside. We decided to stay rather than move onto another pub..

Been several times and always a wonderful vibe. Outstanding staff and service. Choice of outdoor seating, pub seating, or restaurant seating. Several function rooms upstairs. Food is great, classic British fare done well. A solid selection of beers on tap including a couple of craft ones like Hepcat.

We had our annual Christmas dinner there with a bunch of friends. Food was excellent as was the service. The bar itself was absolutely packed to capacity, outside terrace as well. Good atmosphere and good location, close to Waterloo station.

Amazing pub , excellent outside space with great food

The pub is 5/10 minutes from Waterloo Station and has a typical cosy vibe. The pub is clean and has plenty of seating. Tables can booked. The service is average with not a long wait, but the staff does not remember orders. The prices are average for London and cost more for the value of the items. The food is average and not high quality, but not the high point for the pub. It is a typical average pub that charges more due to the area. It is fine if you pass by, but it is not worth the effort to go out of your way to visit.

Friendly service but the food wasn't all that. The pub was busy but the food was too hastily prepared and felt too mass produced. The deflated football aka the Yorkshire pudding wasn't the one 😔👎 Veg and potatoes weren't cooked enough, the beef was decent but the gravy didn't add anything.

I strongly recommend that you do not eat here. The food is bland and the service is worse. Moments after my card left the payment machine we were being rushed off the table for the next sucker.

A really nice Christmas meal and no complaints there. Was a rude and abrupt ending however as we were served drinks at 10.55 without being told we need to leave at 11pm. The manager showed no consideration for this and wouldn't even come and speak to us. We did get a refund but unfortunately it was a bit of a poor ending

It was very busy on a Monday evening, and we were wise to have booked a table for dinner in advance. The menu was extensive, with good vegan options, and the food really rather good. The service was good, too, especially given how busy it was. The bar was busy, too, and noisy. I haven't lived in London for many years and had quite forgotten how much noise these places contain. But we had a great evening out, and being just around the corner from Waterloo Station was a bonus.

Food was ok. Told no roast potatoes left when we arrived. Then told there was roast potatoes then told no roast potatoes then told there was. We had roast potatoes with our roast Beef which was good but missing Yorkshire pudding which was supplied after mentioning, freezing cold tho. No horseradish sauce left. Staff were attentive but seemed to be a bit stressed despite there being lots of them and the restaurant didn't appear to be too busy. Maybe some kitchen drama going on?? Would visit again as food was good and the elusive roast potatoes were very nice.

Fairly rare 5 star for me here. Had an excellent lunch with lots of well-kept beer and has a good range of Scotch. Scotch egg starter was superb & the bangers and mash, almost as good as my own. Also, I left my bag, which they found and kept safe until I arranged collection. Excellent service, food and atmosphere; well work a visit!!

A friend and I were out for an unplanned dinner this evening, stumbled across this pub and we were more than pleasantly surprised. Outstanding service - I work in customer service myself and was truly blown away. Not often you come across a LDN pub where the staff seem happy to be there and enjoying their job. Food was also excellent. Would highly recommend and will be recommending to friends who want to grab a bite before their commute home! Thanks for the hospitality!

Little hidden gem of a pub, you couldn’t believe a gastropub like this can be found on the doorstep of Waterloo station… Had a yummy roast beef and shared a sticky toffee pudding for lunch! Booking highly recommended as it gets busy on Sunday!
