Great pub! Matthew was very attentive and offered his reccomendations. A must stop when in Piccadilly for food or drinks.

Nearly everyone in this pub was watching the football and the landlord wouldn’t turn the volume up to listen to the commentary.

Tasty food in a cozy place. I loved the steak and ale pie.

Good London pub, service a little long on this Friday, but this is explained by the home cooking, with a limited number of dishes. Good "Fish and chips", but it's still breaded fish... “Normal” choice of draft beer, but smaller than imagined in an English pub.

Do not recommend and will not return. Did not honor lunch-and-drink special, charged extra for soft drink that was to be included. “Steak” sandwich literally had four thin strips on normal size bread which meant you got ~4 out of 16 bites with meat - the rest was rocket and mayo mustard on bread. Finally, there is a reason that salads are served on chilled dishes instead of on a hot plate next to the sandwich…salad was completely wilted and bordered on cooked. I really wanted this place to work out but the bad food was pushed over the top by bad service. Go somewhere else - plenty of options around this establishment.

A hidden little gem away from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly. Reasonable prices and family friendly.

I went to different pubs when I visited London but the experience that I had in this one was so good! The manager was so nice looking after us all the time.Great food as well.

Considering the location just shy of Piccadilly, a remarkably good pub which didn't feel as if it pampers to tourists. Good beers, some food [I didn't eat], a good genial atmosphere, service swift and efficient, lovely panelled interior and a pretty external facade. A good find in dead central London.

Great selection of drinks. Peroni was cold and crisp. Special shout out to rudi on the bar for the good service

Another place we just happened to stumble across, where we did not leave disappointed. It provided the traditional London pub feel that we all were hoping for. One of us in the group even stated that one of the best burgers they had ever tasted was from this place. Would definitely recommend.

Great pub but pity the bouncer seems to hate charity collectors. He would be more useful sweeping up broken glass than chasing away well meaning charity collectors.

Used the love this pub as great location and atmosphere but in the last year service and quality of food have all hit rock bottom. Have eaten here many time in last 5 years and loved it but Last month went to get a small lunch just after opening and was told kitchen closed/not ready yet was about to leave and they said wait 10 minutes and can order food. We ordered garlic bread with cheese and fries and sadly the garlic bread was. Pale, stale and cold 😞 didn’t know u could get it wrong. I would have liked to order more but getting basic wrong lost trust. Sadly another green king where menu and quality change in food has lost a loyal customer

We were looking for that traditional English pub experience, with both pub food and beer. We found both at Three Crowns Piccadilly, where Mave took very good care of us. The lunch menu specials were perfect after an extended morning of Buckingham Palace and the Albert Memorial, which involved a great deal of walking. We were surprised to hear Mave say that we were the first people from Nebraska that she has served here!

The food is good. Innovative cuisine in a casual local setting. Service is a bit lackadaisical though even when the place wasn’t full.

Delightful proper English pub!! Shared Fish & Chips plus Mac & Cheese. Others had Steak & Ale (which I of course tasted). All were lovely.

The bar service was so miserable, almost wordless throughout. I understand serving in a pub can be hard work but really this level of service should not be tolerated by the publican.

I like the pub my review is based on the toilets. The smell is unbearable and is been like this for years now. You need to sort this out. Sorry for the bad review but you just can’t justify having these smelling toilets in central London

Terrible! Would not recommend. We attended at 6.00pm where we were told that most items we desired for dinner were unavailable. The food we did order was terrible and not to the standard a restaurant should provide. Will not be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here, the service was nothing short of top class and the staff were friendly and helpful. My main server Jake was always making sure we were looked after and nothing was ever too much for him. Would come again

The service here was amazing, couldn’t recommend more. Perfect place to stop off for a few drinks and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. I’d like to point out the exceptional hospitality Jake showed me while visiting, he’s truly an asset to the team there!

The last stop on our mini Piccadilly pub crawl, and certainly the busiest due to its proximity to Piccadilly Circus, definitely a pub that's good if you want a lively night. It's a Greene King so normal Greene King prices apply, despite it being in central London. A decent amount of seating, but due to how busy it was we had to share a table with strangers, not really a problem for me but for others who are a bit more anxious it may be.

Terrible pints for extortionate prices, rude Irish old man who seemed like the manager racially abused my friend, avoid at all costs do not give them the business.

Average pub, beer decent enough, quite small so limited seating

Booked in advance to dine before a theatre show, arrived to be told they were not serving food that day. There was no notification before arrival, even though booked online. The manager couldn't be bothered to make an appearance and apologise for the situation.

The ambiance was nice and we could not ask for any more as a cherry on top the services were good The staff was very friendly and mainly the food, was just pure bliss. Totally a recommendable one.

On our short trip to London, we found this brilliant pub close to Piccadilly Circus. Beer and food were quickly served, the staff is very friendly (answered all our touristy questions and let us try different beers before deciding) and we really enjoyed both beer and food and the vibrant atmosphere! There is a variety of food to choose from, also for vegetarians and interestingly, the amount of calories is given for each choice. 😊

The sweeeeetest. Sat down for the Arsenal game not paying attention to what station the TV was on yet. Manager came to ask me who I was supporting and switched the TV to the correct station for me so I wouldn’t have to move. Hospitality at its finest.

The Three Crowns on the delightfully named bags street is an offering from the Greene King stable. A fine city pub in St. James's offering a selection of both cask and keg beers. A GK menu with plenty of special offers is provided for the hungry. A good pint of beer and a convivial atmosphere. There is also a very polite, friendly and helpful chef working here!

I was visiting London this afternoon and called in for a pint and some lunch. The staff were very busy but provided great and friendly service. I will be back!

We didn’t have any issues finding a table. However, I had to queue for 20-30 minutes before getting served (there was only two people in front of me). One of the staff there was learning and was entirely dependent on the other colleague, so we had to wait for her to return from errands before ordering. They had hardly any food in. Lots of people were really disappointed and complaining. Not even milk in for a coffee. We are veggies and they only had two options available. I had to ask “what do you actually have in”. Received wrong drinks too, due to how overwhelmed the two members of staff were. Food was unspectacular and tasted bad. The nuggets were draped in a heavy tasting Texas bbq sauce. The three chips starter with sauces tasted bad, the chips were also thin and lacked taste. Overall, service and food quality was terrible. We paid £37.00 for the privilege. Avoid here and go somewhere else

Allegedly wasn’t serving food, but served it to other people. Also £7.40 pints is silliness.

Great service, great atmosphere, and good food

I’ve regularly drunk in this pub over the years, it’s a great place and tucked away just off Piccadilly Circus. Last week I popped in for a quick drink before going for lunch, and ordered a half of Diet Coke, which was poured from the tap as opposed to a bottle. This cost £4!!! When I queried this and said that was ridiculous for a half from the tap I was told by the not very interested bar maid that she didn’t make the prices up! I asked how could they charge £8 for a pint of Diet Coke and was told they didn’t, it was £4.60?!? Work that one out….?! I asked to speak to whoever did make the prices up and was told they weren’t there. A real sour taste after many years of drinking here. Note to whoever does make the prices up, you’re taking liberties and I won’t be returning any time soon.

Food was very tasty. Great friendly service. Lovely gin. Busy but still good service.

Ordered a red wine. There was no red wine (in a PUB). Ordered a mulled wine (advertised heavily in the pub), There was no mulled wine. Ordered a Port. There was no port. So they didn’t have any of the three things I wanted. Which is very poor. I then asked for a Baileys and said as they didn’t have my first three choices, could they make it a large one for me, and they said NO. So I left. A real pity, as the people b was really quaint, decorated nicely and looked lovely. It would have been the sort of place I’d go back to regularly!
