Excellent service, dinnertime steak and ale pie, chips and peas, spot on lovely surroundings , kids corner, brilliant beer garden, defo visit again

We ordered the Turkey Sunday Roast and was great value for money. There was plenty of tender Turkey with all the trimmings plus the vegetables were cooked just right. A small gravy boat came with it for extra yummyness. It was a lovely afternoon and the atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. Well worth the visit and well done to the chef who made my Mother's day all the better. Thanks to all the staff on duty: Jake, Megan, Dave, Jamie's, Ken and Jade.

When entering you had to go to the bar to let them know about your reservation. They informed us you can pay on the app and we managed to get a seat easily for the football which has a good sized screen. We ordered Sunday roasts each unclear what the veg was going to be on it and had ordered drinks prior which were swiftly provided and the staff were lovely. We recieved our roast dinners and they gave generously. Most things were nice but wasn't a fan of the sauce with the cabbage and my partner asked for no gravy but the beef had a little gravy. There was also no cranberry sauce with my turkey which is one of my favourite accompaniments. There was a large amount of everything which meant you got your moneys worth although the amount of stuffing was small.

Visited for the first time since Christmas Day and wasn’t disappointed with the new menu that’s now on offer. All food was served reasonably quickly and arrived hot which is very important. Steak was cooked how I liked it and the other meals were excellent Wainwright holding its own here as the only hand pull presently but it was of good quality Would like to see some of our excellent local ales being offered but it doesn’t seem as though Marstons allow Top marks to all the staff on what was a busy night for excellent service. Keep up the good work!

Really good food and excellent service

Visited the three crowns a few times now and has always been welcoming and enjoyable. Food is of a good standard and delicious and can highly recommend the kebab. Caters for children and has a children's corner to.keep them entertained.

It was a lovely quiet afternoon dinner. The pub was clean, pleasantly quiet with a lovely atmosphere. Sabrina was our server and she was warm and approachable and attentive to our table. The food was lovely, high quality and filling, and the drinks were satisfying.

We go to Three Crowns on a regular basis. The staff are lovely. Suzie served us today and was very professional and accommodating. The food is always very nice. The atmosphere is great and we always feel welcome every time we visit. Highly recommended.

Service by Mila was first class. Unfortunately the rump steak was so chewy we could only eat half. I eat here regularly and this was the first time it wasn’t perfect to be fair.

Came for lunch today and we were served by Skye She was such a lovely lady.

Me and my friends come in every week to catch up. We always have a laugh and we haven't had to move tonight because Ellie Jude and Jordyn have kept us topped and its no hassle for them. Slightly expensive but the team make it a much better experience.

Come in every Thursday since we discovered the quiz this week there was no quiz but the laughs with Eleanor Jace and June made the trip still worthwhile, can’t wait for th quiz to back

Very welcoming on arrival. All staff friendly but Sophie went well above to make sure we had everything we needed. Most probably because she is a black and white fan.... food was fantastic. And very reasonable prices. Thank you again we will definitely bring the family back here.

Would not recommend to anyone, me and my family went on Boxing Day to have a Christmas dinner/ Sunday roast before we went to pantomime. Had a table booked for 2pm, by 2:45 we finally got our starters after asking twice, once they came it was just a glass full off lettuce, 5 prawns on top with prawn sauce (the bread was nice). Once the roast dinners came, all 5 of us instantly knew the food had been microwaved, we could tell by how dry the food was and how hot the plates were, we complained to the waitress (wasn’t her fault she was very helpful) she even admitted to us they have been microwaved to get them out quicker, the assistant manager came and tried to lie to all 5 of us that it wasn’t microwaved, as soon as I told her the waitress had told us it was the AM also admitted that it was left overs from Christmas Day dinners warmed up in the microwave. (Why would you even admit that and tell customers this???) we just left and told them we don’t want the deserts either! if the manager was there this wouldn’t of happened at all, me and my family go for food here 5/6 times over the summer and the manager is spot on!!! Won’t be going back!

Came for Xmas dinner with my mates. Food was really nice, best prawn cocktail I’ve ever had. Sapphire served us. A right little character made it an even better experience for us.

We knew it was going to be busy after 5.30 with the santa visit so booked for 5 pm to avoid the rush. All was going well with the order taken straight away and not too long for the starters. 1st issue was that there was only 1 set of cutlery and serviette in the pot on the table. These should be filled prior to arrival of customers. That said, the starters were as described and tasty. For the mains, as per the same event last Christmas, my wife and wanted to order the mixed grill only to be told it was unavailable. Have to ask, why keep it on the menu for a year and still not have ingredients? So instead my wife opted for Gammon which she enjoyed and I ordered Surf and Turf. When the food arrived I noticed that the "surf" part of my meal was missing. Told the bar staff who very quickly provided the missing scampi but not the advertised pot ot tartare sauce. Not worth going back to complain again. As for the steak, it was cooked medium rare as ordered but very poor quality meat unfortunately and took a lot of chewing. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding with custard. One did have some toffee sauce on it but the other was sadly missing it. As this pub is local to us it would be nice to be able to give a more positive review but tbh with the issues outlined we are reluctant to eat here again.

Great night out with the family last weekend for the Christmas meal menu. Everyone really enjoyed it and the staff were friendly and gave a great service. The Christmas menu had lots of options for Starters, mains and desserts. We will be back to try the main menu :)
