I only had drinks, very nice cocktails

I’m a 34 year old white male traveling alone for work and I got turned away at the door. Apparently my money isn’t good enough for them. I ended up finding a better bar with better drinks, so maybe it was a good thing I didn’t get into Thirst. Go somewhere else if you’re a single male.

Zak was fantastic and moe was great as well ,lovely venue but more importantly Zak and moe were delightful and very helpful

Unfortunately, due to the extremely rude and unnecessary behavior I experienced, I will never consider coming to this place again. A few days ago, I stopped by at a different time than my original reservation to ask if they had availability. They said “Yes, come in,” so I sat down. However, after just one drink, I was told they were fully booked and had a reservation, and I was asked to leave. This is unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. If you don’t have space, just say so—I wouldn't insist. But telling someone to sit and order, and then asking them to leave 10 minutes later, is unacceptable. I used to wonder why this place had such low ratings. Now I understand completely. With so many better bars in Soho, there’s absolutely no reason to waste your time here

Very unpleasant venue, took a video inside and was harassed by multiple staff members trying to kick me out, they took my drink which I have not finished and my forced me outside

Nice friendly place in Soho. Very welcoming and with an arrangement with the burger place next door so you get a discount on your order and they bring your food to your table in the bar.

Amazing bar, great staff, excellent drinks and DJ. Rodrigo arranged me a great area for my wife's birthday, fantastic music and can't recommend more. One of the best spots to go out in soho.

I have tried booking a table online over the last 2 days and no-one replies. I have called, the phone lines just cut you off. I have emailed back on the enquiry email a couple times and no-one responds. This is a FAIL. Why are DESIGN my NIGHT ignoring enquiries???

Avoid this con artist place , they take your drink just to make you to buy another one , I never go back in that place . AVOID . Scammers .

Worst experience ever. AVOID AVOID AVOID The bartenders took my almost full glass 3 times and threw it in the sink. At one point I stopped one of them and asked him what he was doing, he said to relax and he would pour me another glass and of course he didn't.DISGUSTING!

Their stupid hour is the best value in soho. £7 per cocktail with no service charge. Very tasty drinks and great value.

I arrived not having an physical ID, the bouncers were very helpful in finding a digital version. Drinks were great, atmosphere also amazing as there was a good DJ and plenty of people. Also, the owner has impeccable fashion. Thanks Thirst!

Went here for a couple of drinks on a Monday evening. It was pretty empty early on. But they are open until 3 and a DJ was setting up as we left, so they must get really busy when the pubs close. I had an old-fashioned, and it was delicious. The bartender was amazing. Would definitely return.

Absolutely stand out staff, the door staff are so attentive. We were a group of girls and they really looked after our wellbeing and safety when we were outside the club and getting home in taxis. Shout-out to Nico and Farouk!

The bottles are expensive... £310 for two... in a place smaller than a living room is quite odd... just warning in advance but other than that bar staff are nice and surprisingly so are security! Nothing out of the ordinary, it was once one of the legendary bars that everyone had to visit... nowadays it's just one of many... typical Soho prices... nothing more.

I've had the opportunity to visit many places in London, but this was the first place where I was treated like trash by the security. I was dancing on the dance floor and every now and then I was warned that I was disturbing others while dancing. It turns out that dancing is not allowed. Finally I was thrown outside without a jacket and my stuff in the middle of winter. Avoid this place if you don't want to have bad memories from your trip in London.

We had a great night at Thirst last night for a birthday bash. The staff and doormen were great and the dancing / atmosphere was spot on.

Held a corporate drinks here and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The delicious cocktails were flowing and the service was so warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this bar enough for events/private hire or just drink with a friend.

The only nightclub I go to every time I visit London. This time, I wanted to go on a Monday for the first time, but the rude black security guard at the door wouldn’t let me in, despite me explaining the situation. It was such a disappointment. In the past, there was a helpful Algerian staff member.

I asked for a glass of rose wine, he made white wine instead. when I said you made the wrong drink, someone who appears to be an Arabic or white Indian bartender at downstairs just mixed some soda with it and was claiming that it's a rose wine, and demanding payment for it.

Had the best time tonight at Thirst Bar! Randomly came across this venue in Soho and the security team was so lovely & accommodating from start to finish. Always made sure we were safe inside and while in the smoking area. Although it’s the weekend there is a door fee of 10£ per person, it’s totally worth it! Inside the staff is the most kind & trustworthy. They’re fast, efficient, accommodating & proactive to your favourite taste of cocktails. On top of that, the DJ plays the most nostalgic and heartwarming music all week! I had the best time and will come back without a doubt!!!

I’m still in shock from my experience last saturday. I was the target of a homophobic attack from one of the bouncers at Thirst Bar. I was dancing with a friend when one of the bouncers told me I needed to stop bumping into others on the dance floor. I asked the people around me if this was the case and they all assured me it wasn’t. It was very apparent to me that I was being targeted for my sexuality as a gay man. I turned to the bouncer and asked if he was indeed being homophobic. He stormed over and grabbed me by my arm and neck and proceeded to drag me all the way up the stairs. I tried to protest and say that I would leave of my own accord but he gave me no chance. My girlfriend tried to intervene but was grabbed by the other bouncer. I tried to explain the situation to Thirst Bar’s other workers but it was clear that there was a protocol of protecting their staff. My experience was corroborated by many others who witnessed what had happened. It is deeply shocking that this can happen at all let alone in soho where one would believe that they were particularly safe to express themselves safely and without prejudice. I would encourage people to avoid this establishment and I am hoping I can find a way to get this particular bouncer reprimanded for his clearly homophobic behaviour!

The espresso martinis were amazing. Didn’t plan on getting drunk that Friday night but the espresso martinis were too good to pass up!

This is a solid bar to get nice cocktails. They have very good discounts during happy and stupid hour. If you are in the area and want a cozy place in Soho for a nice drink then this is a good option. They offer a wide variety of drinks and cocktails (including non-alcoholic).

Popped in "for one" with a friend at about 7pm, left at 1am. Great cocktail makers who take huge pride in what they do, making classics well.

OMG!!! Second visit here and we love it!! The staff are fabulous, the cocktails are so well priced during stupid and happy hour and unlike most bars in Soho the cocktails aren't watered down, they are strong delicious and get you very merry very quickly. A must place to drink in Soho.

If you're visiting from the US, I would not recommend this venue. There is a high likelihood that you'll be turned away, and if you're black, the chances increase to about 90%. The doorman typically uses the excuse, "We don't allow single entry." It's surprising and disappointing that approximately 90% of the bars in SOHO have a policy of turning men away, with the situation being even worse for people of color. To avoid confusion and disappointment, it would be helpful if these establishments posted a sign or notification stating their policy on single entry. It's disheartening that someone new to the city cannot even enjoy a cocktail or a drink, especially after a long trip, due to these discriminatory practices. The racism prevalent in these policies is truly disheartening.

Ask to use toilet was visiting London I am 13 weeks pregnant so needed to use bathroom, i was told NO! He represented his country well...

£7 Caipirinhas 4pm-6pm in Soho. What's not to like?

Sid was the best security/bouncer, made us feel very welcome and insured we had the best night even when we went in, make sure to ask for SID whenever u come down to thirst to make sure u get taken care of. Best night ever

Thirst Bar Soho bouncer says you can't come in alone and was very respectful about it. Beware solo travelers, not an inclusive place

I went to the bar feeling quite thirsty. The staff were very polite and chatty. While we were having drinks on the dance floor, we decided to step outside for some air. Suddenly, a random guy approached and attacked us. Fortunately, the security guy at the bar reacted quickly and protected us from harm. The drinks were £10 each, which is reasonable for a bar in Soho. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to going again over the weekend.

I’d leave 0 stars of if I could - my partner was asked “how many pussies” he was bringing. Disgusting attitude, would not recommend if you respect females.

The owner, who is a balding guy with glasses, abused one of my friends on the way out and dragged them out the club for no reason. This was recorded and a video will be circulated shortly.

Rating 2 because it is still a nice place in the center. The location and security are good but it costs 10 pounds just to enter. We tried an offer of 5 shots for £20 but they were practically all water. As for the cocktails, I tried a long island which cost 12 pounds but was also very light. 5 pound tequila shot, good music. The environment is divided into two floors: above there is a bar where you can chat, while below there is a club/disco with a bar corner. The cloakroom costs £3. I recommend going with friends, expensive, I wouldn't go back.

Went here for the stupid hour for drinks with friends and it really was great to have freshly made cocktails for good prices, especially in that location. The staff were also very accommodating and attentive.

I was looking for a nice place to sit and have a cocktail and from the description it looked great. Tried to go in and was denied entry because I was alone.

Drinks were goood, barkeepers too, dj also... but the boss thinks his a god... it would be a 5/5 but through his attitude of the boss just a two... nice bar... nice music.. we spent a lot there but of the childish behavior of the boss... earns just a two...

Thirst bar isn’t worth of the hype. We found the bar from the TikTok app. It was very small and bad. The drinks wasn’t good and they were expensive. They threw me out when my friend was throwing up and they blame me for that and throw me out when my friend was alone. They didn’ believe me when I tried to explain when we my friend was in danger. Luckily nice and beautiful girls saved me and told the truth.

Ironically not good if you're thirsty - took ages to get a drink here. Pictures look great online but realistically it's a small average bar with little to no seating available. Much better alternatives nearby. They do tap beer though so that's a big plus.

Muskan is the best server we’ve ever had, bar David (mind the pun), she’s absolutely lovely and so accommodating and friendly, she always makes us feel welcome in Thirst, 100% recommend

Amazing little cocktail bar and club. Really great menu with knowledgeable bartenders (with even better happy hour deals!). I love that you can dance your heart out downstairs and come up for a little breather on the ground floor, while still maintaining a fun atmosphere. Very basic music, expensive entry ticket compared to the level of fun you get. Very normal drinks. And also my jacket was stolen there because their cloak room was full and they weren’t accepting any more jackets. The management behaved towards this situation as if he couldn’t care less about the customer’s satisfaction. So not worth it. There are much better bars in soho.
