Annoying how u have to buy something per person as me and my friend were planning to share a bingsu (as they are massive) but ended up leaving as they were forcing us to buy another item.

it was okay.. we were not allowed to bring our own drinks inside. when we were seated the corner we were sat on smelled of urine, it was very off putting and unsanitary, when coming to order the waiter said that everyone had to have their own order which was a lot because we didn't want that much food. Overall was not a wonderful experience.

Superb menu with some really refreshing items! I had a smoothie and members of my family had deserts. Across the table there are good ratings! The deserts even had star shaped fruit. (A quick edit to say that the size of drinks and deserts are well worth the price!) My brother had the spring rolls and they where good, a little crisp for my liking but everyone has their own opinion and preferences. I'd recommend coming here if it's a hot day, the seats are comfortable and the staff are very kind. If I had one gripe from my experience it would be the amount of reserved tables and the fact you can only stay for 45 minutes.

Awful, not worth the visit and would not recommended Ordered Mango Sago Tasted like very chemically synthetic made Mango’s texture and sweetness is ok, but overkilled by the mango syrup chemical Sago is all clumped up and not acceptable DID NOT FEEL WELL RIGHT AFTER Honestly, I would refuse to pay

Food was nice and reasonably priced (you need to order one item per person) We paid at the start when ordering and when everyone left because the shop was closing we were asked in front of everyone “Excuse me did you pay?” by the woman at the till wearing the ribbons and it just felt really embarrassing as if we were leaving without paying!! It was the fact that we were already by the door and she had to say it loud for us to hear.. maybe there could be a system in place so staff can keep track of which customer has paid or not?

Not the biggest fan of the service as well as how we were told that if we wanted to eat each person would have to order, like we just had lunch and the proportions were pretty big me and my friends had to share but the server said it was not possible and was forced to do take out, this was even weirder as she put our desserts in cups instead of a bowl or normal container and the plastic top was impossible to open with the flat wooden spoon that were impossible to scoop with.

service was not nice, the server was being very passive aggressive and I didn’t like how she treated us when we went to order, and couldn’t hear when she said I will come, so passive aggressively 😭

The three of us had just eaten very full next door (Mijia is delicious) and wanted to order two portions of ice, but it turned out that we had to have one portion per person, and those who didn't order food couldn't sit down. There was no one in the store at that time, and all seats were empty. Helpless, the child wanted to eat... I ordered the meal angrily, but the taste was average. The portion is very small.

Walked past this place on a day out. It looked hidden very unique so me and my partner went to try this. If you don’t like rules then this place is not for you. You have to order 1 item per person.…..we decided to order, “‘Mango Lover” and “Matcha Azuki” We were greeted with 2 small baby portions. I went from a mango lover to a hater, the dessert was barely cold, mango tasted funky and it had barely any shaved ice, had to dig my way through warm bubbles. The matcha ice cream was okay but everything else was bitter so I couldn’t finish it. Make sure to not eat a lot of food if you plan on going to this place for dessert, especially if you're in a pair or group. Go to Meet Fresh because there will be less rules and you will actually be a Mango Lover.

Was traveling in London and found this spot on Google. When I saw they had black sesame dumplings, I knew I had to go and they did not disappoint!! The dumplings tasted fresh and you get to choose the broth. I choose the coconut sago broth. There’s also wide variety of things to choose from - from shaved ice to bubble tea to waffles. There’s something for everyone. There’s seating available in the second level that was nice and spacious. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Had the lychee black and was absolutely rancid. Made with Oolong tea, more like Poolong! Also wanted to share a dessert but wasn’t allowed as they said it’s 1 item per customer, ridiculous! Money grabbers, stay far away.

The place is nice, but the food was okayish. Noodles were pretty basic, and dessert was just ok.

So delicious and so many to choose from, perfect for midnight snacks or just dessert after dinner. And the staff was very friendly too, the best Asian dessert place in Chinatown, a must try!

Be aware they have a 1 item per person rule, so if you want to share a desert then you're out of luck. Although this place focuses on deserts , don't sleep on the noodle soups! They're delicious. The savoury food is more reasonably priced that the deserts too. The toilet is one of the grossest ones I've encountered in china town also.

Came here by chance. Found the nearest dessert place on Google map. I LOVE the Halo Halo as it has around 8 ingredients . I was bit greedy.

After making this place my go to place for desserts over the past year, I really think this place is super underrated, the prices are good for a place situated in China town. The variety of Chinese desserts is wide enough to cater for halal and vegetarians. The shop is upstairs making it some-what cosy and away from the busy streets. The place seems very well managed as it is clean and service is prompt. The boss is a great guy and his humour is impeccable, every time I come here it makes me happy…definitely a place for something casual and for my fellow introverts to recharge before heading back out into the busy world of London.

Excellent dessert place in Chinatown that also does some savoury. I’ve been meaning to visit for years and it really lives up to hype! They have a really cute insta I’ve followed too. We shared a waffle and a smoothie and were both good quality and beautifully presented. The service is 10/10 too. Relaxed and attentive. I was with my sister and this would be a cute place to go with friends, family or a date. Not accessible as up two flights of steep stairs.

We got the Mango Sago and Taro Kiss dessert. The desserts were £8 each which I found to be a little pricey for something that tasted bang average. They also have a policy of a minimum of one dessert per person.

Asian dessert place with lots of choices. The HaloHalo was pretty filling. My wife loved the Matcha Azuki.

Went here to try with my friend yesterday got the matcha azuki 🍵as I'm obsessed with matcha and my friend got the mango forest. Very large portion very full hahah but worth the money. Staff friendly, located in Chinatown and is not busy which we love.lovely atmosphere

I honestly love this place! It’s a cosy cafe serving a variety of East Asian comfort foods. I like to come here for dessert with my friends. The food is delicious, the staff and boss are very friendly, and it’s not too busy considering it’s in Chinatown, which I really appreciate. Give candy cafe a visit if you want to get Asian dessert in Chinatown!

We went to check out Candy Cafe in Chinatown. There is a good range of desserts and bubble tea on their menu. During my recent visit, I tried the matcha shaved ice dessert and their azuki brick toast dessert. It's worth noting that Candy Cafe has a minimum order of one item per person, so make sure to order accordingly if you come here.

Me and my daughter had lunch here today. Impeccable service, cute little cafe with a very varied menu for everyone's taste. The food is like a taste of heaven on earth. I would highly recommend this place if you have a stroll through Soho. They also have Karaoke room but we didn't try that. Think I'm a bit old for that. Anyway this is a great little gem. *****. Love the desserts special mango lover 😍 i spent 4 hours in kTV with my friends, many choices of song, English Cantonese, Korean and Japanese! I love it 😍 Definitely will come back again !

This is the best dessert place in soho! My favourite was the Mango Sago dessert, it was full of flavours and the tapioca jelly on top makes the perfect combination! It's really spacious and the customer service was super friendly. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Best bubble tea EVER This is my favourite cafe to visit when I’m in soho. The staff and service are lovely. The bubble tea is the best bubble tea I have ever tried! The selection of desserts is so good and the mango one is so tasty! I have recommended this cafe to my friends and they all love it. Thank you candy cafe!

Ordered a cheesecake crepe and bubble tea, would go again. It was delicious and the servers were very friendly. They also have Karaoke!

It's a little odd that you must order at least one item when some of the desserts are quite big. The desserts themselves were too sweet for my liking.

the bubble tea.. was below average, the brown sugar one tasted off, and when I finished the drink a few minutes later stomach hurts. Personally I don’t really recommend the boba tea, coming from someone who enjoys bubble tea and has no allergies to anything whatsoever.

This place reminds me of my childhood snack bars I used to go after school 😚 Nice variety of desserts varying from Korean to Hong Kong, I normally come here for Bingsu. I believe it is totally reasonable for them to oblige one person one menu policy as they are in a very central place with cheap menus.

The sweet dessert makes us feel like we have gone back to Hong Kong. It's an authentic style of Hong Kong dessert. The taste is good and also cheap. I would definitely come back again after having dinner at Chinatown. That would be a perfect day. Recommended for someone like durian, they serve durian dessert which is extremely good.

It is very delicious and not very crowded

As other comments have stated, they have a one person one order policy, which doesnt make sense for a dessert shop. the bubble tea is subpar as they use crushed ice which gets in the straw and gets stuck in your throat! desserts are served with plain shaved ice without syrup / sweet milk, which makes them subpar as well. Not recommended

The mango pudding tastes great! They have student discounts as well. The portion is large and satisfactory. Its quite a bother that every person sitting has to get something to purchase (we can't share one thing) while takeout portions are smaller than the ones they give in-store. You'd be charged a 2 pound sitting fee if you're not purchasing anything, which I find strange.

I'm a big fan of Cantonese desserts. This place doesn't serve good desserts. Ordered 3 different options and couldn't eat any of them. Keep away. Go somewhere else.

A staff was kind.. all dessert.. looked good but the taste was bland and artificial flavor.. 빙수라고 적혀있었지만 이건 제가 아는 빙수가 아니었습니다

Absolutely speechless to say the least. Candy cafe offers a variety of unique and interesting desserts, consisting of sago, jelly and various fruits as well as more traditional desserts like crepes and waffles. There is definitely something here for everyone. Personally I can recommend the mango lao

First of all, forgot the person who served us but think he’s the owner - AMAZING service, he joked around with us and recommended us a few items! The cafe in general is quite spacious but we went on a Friday night and there was a group of 6 who were incredibly loud which did not help with the atmosphere. Seafood noodles, vegetable gyoza and I think it was De Lychee Shaved Ice Dessert. Only downside was that I was expecting extra table toppings such as chilli/oil to mix into the noodles to alter it to my taste but none the less, I’d definitely come back!! Spent £19.20 in general between two people.

Such a welcome reception and a wonderful array of desserts it was so hard to choose...I will definitely visit again!

Great food but need more varity on menu

The desserts were decent and were quite affordable. Portion sizes were relatively generous given that everyone had to order one item. ‼️Do note that everyone has to order at least one item.

Delicious juice drink I had lychee green tea with mango de coco, and it was shaped like little stars 🌟 so cute and not too sweet! Also the house dessert pomelo mango was delicious! I've never had anything like this before, creamy sago pearl were amazing, and the mango was nice and sweet - perfect combination!

Cosy little Chinese desert place selling good bingsu (shaved ice desert). Prices are good considering it's in Chinatown and it's a cheaper alternative to Meet Fresh though both r good. There might be a wait to be seated so I recommend to reserve beforehand. I don't think this place caters for halal diet (though I'm not sure about ALL deserts) as some ingredients used commonly contain gelatine. There are a flight of stairs to walk up so not wheelchair accessible/people with walking difficulties might struggle.

There are many different dessert menus. The taste is the best! However, the interior is a little hot and narrow, but the window seat feels the atmosphere of Chinatown. It is difficult to guarantee a seat because there are many reserved seats.

Amazing Hong Kong style dessert hiding!

Been to this place multiple times, overall a positive experience but today was different. Went in for some dessert after dinner. Ordered the Pomelo Mango, their pomelo was extremely bitter almost inedible, when I informed the staff about the issue. He half acknowledged the issue and did not do anything after. We also ordered the taiwanese bubble tea, which to their credit was delicious except for a few of their bubbles that were totally uncooked and were hard as rocks. I understand that at peak time it is hard to keep up with the demand but serving hard rock bubbles is just unacceptable. We also got mango lover and lychee tea which were great. So overall, i would say great food but only visit them when they are not as busy because they can’t seem to keep up their standards then.

Dessert options and atmosphere totally reminded me of Mongkok in Hong Kong.

Ordered pat bing su, and friends got hot sago desserts (tasted artificial to be honest), maybe they do better on cold desserts, pat bing su was good.

The desserts were sooooo good! I loved the Mango Sago dessert, the flavours were naturally sweet and so refreshing in this heat. Me and friends came after filming a dance and it such a nice spot to refresh ourselves! It's really cozy and the customer service was very friendly. I'll be back for the karaoke!

We nearly missed this place, because it was tucked in between two restaurants. We are glad we found it though. There is no disabled access as the cafe is up a couple of flights of stairs. This can’t be helped, as the building restricts what can be done to allow access. We ordered two bubble teas and a plate of popcorn chicken. All was delicious. Came to about £15. Would return.

I visited this place by myself to have some Asian desserts. The location was a little bit difficult to find (I walked past it a few times by accident) The service was quick & the desserts were really yummy. Would recommend and return :)

The selection of desserts is simplistic by hits the spot. There are a number of options to choose from which allows everyone to make their own. This small stop by gives one the opportunity to enjoy a small treat in the heart Soho, China Town. Stationed on the first floor, this vicinity encourages those to quickly pick, eat, enjoy and leave as the wait and fluctuation of customers is unreal during peak hours. If you like Asian desserts, and are in town, I would recommend a short stop by to taste the sweet refreshing delights.

We visited this dessert café for the 1st time, the menu looked really good, with a lot of choices, we were really looking forward to having some yummy dessert as it was such a hot day and we have just had really nice lunch. The service was slow, we were sitting there for quite a while with no one coming to take our orders, finally someone came after they have finished serving the desserts to the table next to us. There were 3 of us, after looking through the menu, we decided to order 2 desserts but then the waitress advised that we must each order at least an item from the menu, this was ridiculous as this is not an eat as much as you can menu where you are worried that some unpaid person will take extra food, why must we order an item each even when we don't fancy having a dessert or a drink? Why can't we share? As not to spoil a nice family outing, we then ordered an additional dessert, but then the dessert was not what was described or at least expected, the ice cream desserts looked nice but apart from the ice cream, they were not very nice, full of ice and just sweetness with not much taste, the additional dessert red bean soup was a complete disappointment, we don't normally leave without finishing our dessert but we just couldn't finish it, we all tried to have the dessert but it was so bad that we really couldn't manage to finish it. This experience had definitely spoilt our otherwise really nice outing as this was the last place we visited before heading home.

A cute cozy café hidden within Chinatown which always has K-pop and J-pop playing in the background on both TVs. Very friendly service from all staff and very helpful. I believe they also rent out a small room in the back for karaoke! Desserts range from waffles, warm desserts such as red bean sweet soup and Hong Kong style jelly bowls.

I never used to be into these style desserts but having visited with my friend on numerous occasions I think I'm Hooked..everything on the menu looks delicious and I've decided to try everything! Looking forward to my next visit

Nous étions 7 personnes et nous avions commandé 6 desserts. Ils nous ont forcé à en acheter un septième ! La vente forcée est une pratique commerciale contre productive selon moi. Dommage de nuire à sa réputation pour cela. Je n'y retournerai pas !

Visited after seeing it on Tiktok. Lovely friendly service, delicious bubble tea and some K-pop in the background. My 11 yr old absolutely loved it.

I'm so glad to have found this cosy cafe for dessert, as it can be quite easy to miss. We ordered: -Mango sweet soup with peanut mochi dumplings - a nice subtle taste of mango, which was slightly sweet with real mango chunks inside. The peanut mochi dumplings were also very tasty. -Strawberry and chocolate waffle was hot and crispy, which was complimented well with the strawberry, chocolate sauce and ice cream. They have a large variety of desserts and bubble tea. All portions were a good size and was decently priced. It did take a while to order, as the staff seemed quite busy but they were friendly and helpful. It is definitely a casual place to hangout with some good desserts. Highly recommend.

We stopped by here for Mango and Pomelo desserts and coffees. Our desserts and drinks were very good. The Kpop playing on the screens was good and trendy, even for my old ears! :) The price was very good for the area. I would revisit to try more of the menu.

Lovely little place. Good boba tea! I am a KPOP fan and it was nice that their were K-POP music videos playing in the cafe whilst I was enjoying my boba tea. I would recommend the strawberry milk with strawberry popping, my partner had mango green tea with passion fruit boba. I can’t wait to go back again. Staff friendly.

A little hard to spot due to it being upstairs but it was the most adorable cafe! I went twice in one day-the bubble tea was delicious, staff were friendly and I recommend the red bean dumplings! Had loads of fun and the free wifi was a nice bonus-enjoyed watching the music videos playing on the tv too! 10/10

J'y suis allé aujourdhui en famille et l'accueil à été très désagréable. Lors de la commande nous avons voulu partager deux plats pour trois personnes et nous avons été mis à la porte. Ce restaurant est à fuir absolument, je suspecte une discrimination parce que ma femme portait un voile.

Nous avons commandé pour deux alors que nous étions 3, la serveuse a refusé notre commande car il faut une commande par personne ! Ma femme étant diabétique il lui est impossible de prendre quoi que ce soit. Nous avons donc du partir. C'est honteux et discriminant ! Le patron de ce restaurant devrait être derrières les barreaux !

A friend of mine spent a while today determined to find this place because he enjoyed it so much the previous time he attended. We'd almost given up but then suddenly found it. Worth the wait. Great bubble tea and a super menu with a bunch of stuff I'm really looking forward to trying on my next visit, now that I know it's there. A really fun music channel playing in the time we were there too. This is before we get to the incredible bubble tea I had whilst I was there. I could have had several quite easily! Well worth a visit. Or several.

I’ve been here a few times now and ordered something different every time. The desserts and coffees are both delicious, I can’t wait until it’s hot enough to have the shaved ice!

Shop was empty and yet people who didn't order items from the menu needed to pay 1.5 pounds?? Totally ruined the mood

Lo que los niños necesitaban era una pequeña puerta oculta que conducía a la zona donde podría sentarse a tomar algo de té y bocadillos de burbujas después de un largo día de turismo y caminar.

Located in China town area, this place offers Chinese style deserts and drinks. It is good, but you can find cheaper places nearby.

No longer visit this place, though I used to bi-weekly. The quality of their products have obviously gone down in order to increase profits. Not a very authentic place. Lost it's charm. Also some items are ridiculously overpriced, for example the bubble tea costs more compared to the other stores within a 3 minute walk despite being very watery and a smaller portion. Nothing is fresh. There are better local dessert options.

Soy un cliente habitual en este lugar y siempre lo disfruto. Está escondido en las escaleras de Chinatown. Traigo a todos mis amigos allí y voy allí por mi cuenta también. Cuenta con una amplia gama de postres a un precio asequible. El servicio está bien. Cada persona necesita pedir algo y no se divide la factura, así que ten cuidado.

¡Qué malgasto de dinero! Ojalá no nos molestáramos en probar este lugar porque hay muchos buenos lugares para postres en China Town. Nos obligaron a pedir algo a cada uno. Pedimos sagú de frijol rojo. Apenas tenía sagú o frijol rojo, estaba completamente sin sabor y estaba muy diluido que no podía terminarlo. El gofre con helado, claramente gofre de un paquete calentado con helado barato colocado encima. Claramente usan productos realmente baratos y tampoco tienen valor para el dinero. Mejor ve a otro lugar y ahorra dinero.

El té de burbujas está bien, pero el servicio es grave. Hay un 1. 50 cargos para las personas que no ordenan (incluso si se trata de una sola persona de una gran fiesta). También se niegan a dividir la factura cuando kt llega a los pagos con tarjeta. ¡Mantente alejado!
