Thick Or Thin in Doncaster

My workplace is nearby, and we have tried most places in the area for breakfast sandwiches, and this one is far and away the best. Always hot and perfectly cooked. No-one at work has ever complained, only complimented. Cold sandwiches from here are awesome too 🙂 Update: since being taken over, it's gone downhill a bit and prices have gone up

After visiting twice I can't fault the staff and friendliness. The first time we had a lovely main meal which was spit on.. The reason for 3 stars was the breakfasts that were full of grease especially the sausages cut in and a puddle of grease came out The fried bread was brought out 10 mins before my breakfast along with my toast so by the time my food arrived they were stone cold and full of grease. Throwing a slice of bread in a fryer is not fried bread that's just cheating and tastes awful. Maybe it was just a bad day!

Came for breakfast and got the large. It was definitely large! Great value and the food was spot on. Will definitely be a regular place for quality food.

I am from Sheffield, so normally I go to cafes around there, but saw this place on my travels and thought why not! I picked the gut buster breakfast baguette 😍 not only was all the sausage, bacon, beans and hash brown cooked to perfection, (I didn't get eggs and mushrooms on it, not a fan of them). The baguette bread was the nicest soft texture and was bloody delicious!! I take my hat off to this place! Absolutely fantastic and good value 🫡🤯 keep up the good work!!! Lovely owners and workers. Food is much better than most places . Prices are exactly what cafe should be . Elderly lady in there makes the best brew you've ever had . Little bit small and could use abit of a lighting up but other than that I'd put it up there with the best cafes in donny . It's a good tie between these guys and the tuck inn cafe in town.

I ordered a sandwich for me and a work mate for collection. The food was ready on time and still piping hot. Gets back to site with my food and by god I'm glad I was sat down. The bread was undoubtedly some of the freshest I've eaten, everything cooked just how I asked and the quality of the food was spot on!! Glad I found this absolute gem

Staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried, "if its not on the menu just ask and we'll see what we can do ". Perfect poached eggs and mushrooms on toast and at an unbelievable price. 18 riders turned up and were quickly served. Thank you.

Thick and Thin serves amazing English Breakfast, hot and cold sandwiches, dinners throughout the day, kids meals available all at great prices. Great choice from menu. Lovely owners and staff, always ready to serve with a smile, brilliant atmosphere and great service by lovely staff.

Food dripping in grease. That bad it went in the bin.

Excellent home style cooking, lovely Sunday lunch and very good value. Well worth a visit.
