Very pleased with our dinner. Ordered a variety of dishes: 4 entrees, pilau, breads, and raita. The biryani and tandoori were excellent, just delicious. For a mid-week special, the banquet was very generous for it's value, it was just a lot for 4 people. Service was a little slow, even before the serious evening crowd showed up. Parking on a weeknight was a generally OK but there were lots of cars on the street parking for the futbol practice across the street.

Dishes were not the way they are traditionally made. The chicken tikka was way too sweet. The other two dishes tasted fine but again not traditional which was a shame considering it is an Indian restaurant.

We always order from Raj and the delivery turn around is excellent, food is always hot. Never have any issues with the food, the workers always deliver great customer service. If you love your Indian then I highly recommend the Raj.

Original estimate for deliver was 30-45 minutes, 1.5 hoirs later the food arrived having shown as out for deliver for 45 minutes.

Do not get food from this establishment! We were missing a naan bread, and the onion salad + mint sauce turned up unedible (piping hot). The curry we ordered tasted horrible and seemed like it was months old. The worst Indian experience I have had.

The best Indian by far, the food is full of flavour and there is plenty of meat in each of the dishes, well worth the money and the staff are very polite. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. 5 stars from me. Thank you ☺️

Had food in there buffet food cold offered to reheat it in microwave not good with chicken used to be good but the manager is ararat and distorting what was a good Indian restaurant never going back again.

Travel quite a distant to come to the Raj its a very good Restaurant and takeaway food is always fresh, no horrible orange grease on the curry's The Naan breads are delicious. Staff are very friendly and offer great service. Highly recommend.

The lamb was chewy and fatty. Naan bread was meant to be cheese but was plain. Will not be ordering again

Curry was nice, good portion sizes but the cheese naan that I bought with it had no cheese in it?

The Chicken Momo from this place is next level! The rice is always on point. Keema naans are filled nicely and always hot. This is the place in Thetford for tasty food.

Helpful staff great selection of products and clean shop. Recommend for authentic flavour filled indian food. The service is 1st class the food always fresh and tasty and collection discount (if taking away) is a real added bonus. Cannot recommend highly enough

One of the best Indian in town. Been there Sunday with a buffet for only 12£ per person and a choice of 6/7 mains plus a few starters. Lovely food

Awful rang up and cancelled order with ages left until delivery ( stuck in traffic ) ! Shocking customer service. Swearing at me on the phone.

Eaten in or had takeaways from here many times and never had a bad meal My daughter now lives in the USA and insisted that the first stop when she came home after an overnight flight and 2 hour drive was the Raj. I think this says it all

Had an excellent meal here. Went for my daughter's birthday. We had the banquet. Starter, main, veg side, rice or naan for 12.95, what value! Food was excellent, the Hafiza special was superb, chicken tikka bhuna excellent. The staff were brilliant. Definitely would go back

I ordered at 17:30 - Delivery time was between 18:35-18:55. The delivery time then changed to 19:00 - 19:20. Food arrived around 19:00. 1 hour and half waiting time. The food was nice, but this is the second time my food has been late. I will not be ordering again unfortunately.

worst ive had from there today. rice bland, chicken tikka masala bland and so much water in it I had a puddle on my plate so rice went soggy. not good didn't enjoy at all

food arrived over an hour late. was cold and of poor quality. over cooked mixed grill. oily curries. boiled chewy chicken. everything looked red. Bangladeshi style indian food - not authentic and catered for western taste.
