THE YUMMY GRILL in Colchester

Worst experience ever, we had to call an ambulance for my girlfriend in the early hours on Sunday morning. After suddenly passing out and violently vomiting and pooing uncontrollably. I had to call an ambulance. After several test they revealed this would be from the body rejecting this food which was described as “Poison”. A chicken wrap from hell!

Good size, good price, good taste. It really worth😋

Possibly the worst take away I've ever had. My order was Medium donor kebab Medium chicken kebab 10 spicy chicken wings Chips Dips What I got Medium donor kebab Medium donor kebab 10 burnt non spicy chicken wings Soggy chips Dips The order was totally wrong and also the donor kebab was the most undercooked I've seen. The (wrong) wings I got were burnt and there was no chicken kebab in sight. The chips were soggy also. I never write reviews but this was such a bad experience I had to.

The worst restaurant to order from, customer service is awful people on the phone are rude. They take orders and forget about them and act like it’s the customers fault. Please avoid them if you want a good delivery service.

My 14yr old son raves about this place and how friendly the staff are, even giving him 2 free chicken wings with an order! He's review is best chicken in town!!

Wow wow wow!! Just eaten our order and me and my partner both agreed we would go as far as saying it’s the best kebab delivery we’ve ever had! Absolutely lovely, hot, on time, not greasy and delivered exactly how we ordered it with correct salads n sauces! Our new favourite by far

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Order was delivered wrong & staff denied it was their fault and stated we should ring Uber as it was down to them. Food quality was poor and some was inedible. A very poor eating experience overall.

Mixed Donar Wrap was the best we ever had! We came to Colchester for a day trip from Romford and we had their Mixed Donar Wrap. OMG it was so delicious. We definitely going to come back with the children next time. The portion size was worth the £4.99.. You don't need chips btw. Thanks for an amazing lunch guys.. See you soon!

They're amazing, customer service is the best around, it's not just the food thats the best around. I can't recommend them enough, I even get a bit of discount when I go in there because I'm a regular customer! They'll always look after me in there! ☺ ☺

popcorn chicken was lovely!! no complaints for that. Mixed grill wrap- The meat smelt like armpits and the veg to meat ratio wasnt great. I'd return for the popcorn chicken but nothing else.

Awful experience, they said that they called us when the food was at the location, but never got any calls from them. We didn't get the full refund but now know not to order from this place ever again.

When I ordered, the food was 50 minutes late, and really cold!

Bought 8 chicken wings, firstly they are over priced and the same price as KFC which are FAR better! Secondly the wings had been in the heater for so long that the ‘crispy coating’ and the chicken had in fact become chewy and stale. Absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even finish 1

Ordered from here before always been alright but tonight sent hot wings rather than what I ordered which was peri peri chicken taste re cooked of its been sitting there most of the day definetly wouldn't order no more they did offer to swap wings but couldn't give a time of how long it would be so declined

Ordered a Cheeseburger to takeaway,the idiot old bloke supposedly cooking didn't put the cheese in.Ordered a delivery,paid nearly £24 but 3 pieces of chicken & a portion of chips were missing, so I phoned & was told by the idiot old bloke that I must be lying because he cooked the order.These people should not be in business.

food tasted nasty had to throw it away and they refused to refund me any amount and instead took a big bite into it and then expected me to eat the food don't ever bother here everything is bad just go to other places instead

wen i got my order it was an hour late and cold, I asked the driver and he just shoved the food in my hand and grunted - very rude. the pizza also had what looked like a snot in it, i dont know if it was just a large bit of herbs but i was gagging and we couldnt finish our meal. wud not recommend

There isn't a place in Colchester I could recommend less. Under no circumstances should you pay this place via debit card! I used mine to order from them on Just Eat, they arrived with half of my order missing including ice cream, the driver told me their reasoning was that they didn't have the flavour I ordered and that the money would either be refunded or discounted from my next order. The money was not refunded; consequently I ordered from them again, reluctantly but in good faith that I would get the discount they owed me from missing items in the previous order, when the driver arrived he tried to get me to pay him the full price (I was going to pay in cash this time), then he phoned his manager who denied I had ever purchased from them. So I reported them to Just Eat and when the advisor from just eat rang they denied missing half of my order . They are through and through crooks and liars!!!!!!! Their food is well below average anyway. Just eat were so helpful and sympathetic, they gave me a money off voucher. Please don't order from Big man's fish and grill colchester and if you must - don't use your cards pay in cash so you don't get scammed like I did.

Fantastic meal last night - Their triple-burger, onion rings and wings for Manshape ("Best Buffalo Wings Ever!") and scampi, nuggets and garlic bread for me. Big portions, big flavours, light price. This place is a regular!

Bought chips from here on Sunday 20/04/2014 and they had been cooked in rancid fat. Smell was so bad we had to bin them.
