Domino's in Colchester

was NOT given cheese on my pizza, UNHAPPY! uneven slices and the lack of cheese has greatly affected my mood.

I was distressed to see a finger nail in my pizza dough. I was very sad as I was chewing on the food and suddenly could feel a nail like texture in the food. Immediately threw up to discover a substantial piece of nail. I immediately contacted domino’s customer care but not a rational response in over 10 days. They have just been asking for proof over and over again. Really disappointed in your customer care services Domino’s! I am traumatised from my experience never ordering from Domino’s again!!

There was some guy that turned out to be the head manager and he was super rude and arrogant for no reason. He was taunting one of the customers and even told him he has to learn how to order. The customer was super calm and tried to be as passive as possible. Super rude this manager should be fired

Very rude manager and assistant manager to my disabled son .. he has speech problem .. they throught it was funny to take the mic out of him to my face .. 😡 disgusting from a manager .. told him he should be took down a grade .. learn some manners especially to disabled people.. people like these want realise who pays there wages .. U don't deserve a job there .. pizza hut staff are always polite to customers.. kind .. caring .. all U are is rude .. abrupt .. bad manners.. whoever employed U two need sacking along with U two ..

Order was perfect best dominos I have tasted in long time had a margarita and a pepperoni pizza was fresh hot amazing deals on collection definitely worth it

I hate to leave a bad review but… If you order in store don’t expect great service. When ordering at the till in store don’t expect the staff to let you know when your food is ready, they will leave it on the side to get cold even though they know you’re waiting behind the till. A different collection order was also sent out for delivery by mistake, meaning a 40 minute wait for pizza and defrosted groceries in the car. That being said, they offered free items both times to compensate. For some reason they had a driver preparing orders in the kitchen in full motorcycle kit, not sure about the hygiene of that. When I queried it the lady claimed to know nothing of it 😅 Pizza Hut is just down the road! 😊

Service is generally adequate , you get the odd rude staff member but most are polite. Food is really nice but often cold , it's good value for money if you pick up. I believe it is a decent dominoes.

Visited twice the first experience was not so good as i had place an order through app and waited for the pickup for more than 15 mins I told the guy my delivery is ready still he was not able to figure out Second experience was quick as this time some other person was attending customer who was quick I guess some employees need training here

2 hours and counting for my pizza.. and you’re staff are ignorant.

Ordered through the app, realised I forgot something to order so placed a second order - unfortunately somehow in the system the second order got lost and was waiting about an hour (very busy around 7-9pm). However, the service was amazing, apologised, gave me free chicken tenders to make up for the wait - the stuff crust pizza is always good and I recommend the chocolate dough balls (newer item).

The environment is quiet, which is typical of a student area. The lack of lighting in the at night might make it a bit uncomfortable to hang around whilst waiting for your order. However, the customer service is good and timely.

The new twisted dough chocolate cinnamon swirls are the best thing I have ever tasted please do not ever remove them from your menu 🥹

Today, I called them at 10 pm and asked for the Halal option. The lady who was talking to me she was so rude, she even cut the call in the middle and I called her again and she told me that Domino's don't do halal. Even though my friends have been eating halal from them for more than a year. What kind of service is this? I asked her twice, and after that, I called Ipswich Domino's, and the person their staright away told me the halal option.

Misleading information from staff. I put an order over the phone but food couldn't not be delivered because delivery address doesn't match the one on bank card details. I was advised to order through online for them to deliver to a different address. They declined declined to deliver and changed the order as a collection instead of delivery. Very unprofessional.

Worst staff ever. They don’t have manners to talk. The staff was so racist. Kindly please refrain from ordering from this branch as they have zero customer service. They dont respect their customer

As a delivery driver nothing passes me of more then " oh yeh it will me 15 min " then waiting around for 30 just tell me the time it will be ready I go do some work then come back for my food. So thanks for making me wait 30 min for no reason

Best Domino's, I'd say in the Country! I go out of my way to visit this location compared to the others around the town. Always piping hot, well made pizzas and great customer service. This is the standard that all Domino's should be

Food took FOREVER to arrive and when it did arrive the pizza was stone cold and the wedges were not cooked. I called restaurant 3 times and no one answered. Waste of money and poor service. Myself and my partner were both very sick the next day.

Been waitufor 1hr to get my pizza and i was literally by myself in the shop it wasn’t even busy

What’s wrong with your security alarm, Weekly 4-5 times in the middle of the night, Its start ringing continuously 40-45 mins which is so annoying and frustrating. Please stay to slot this as soon as you can

Ordered watched on tracker food was ready to go out 22.30 didn't leave till 22 45 guaranteed to arrive cold rang store told will refund but takes 7 to 10 working days, FYI I'm not a fool an if the refund doesn't appear I will get it credited via the bank! Shameful attitude from a store of a multichain branch.. Will never use this location again. Update when arrived. Was missing 1 item from order driver bradley said would return and bring back, nothing happened with missing item. Honestly future buyers avoid use other branch.

I found to hairs on my pizza rang dominos up they very kind and made me a new one but when it came the driver was very rude sighing at me and a sarcastic thank you all because she had to take back my pizza with hair on it not happy one bit will not order from here again.

The customer service was disappointed for twice At the first time I had to wait more than 35 minutes to collect my pizza, at the second time I have ordered buy one get one free, when I went to the shop i found one pizza as get any size for £9.99,

Friendly efficient Domino's experience!

Surprisingly good, as we had a few that were just stodgy and bland. Thin base is the way forward altho thr 9 inch was 7inch!!!

Very disappointed with the customer services from this branch. I waited well over an hour for my pizza delivery. I spoke to the branch manager who said there was nothing he could do. All he could say was he was sorry. It should turn up within 30-40mins, piping hot! The pizza turned luke warm at best. I've ordered from domino's so many times and never experienced customer service like this. Won't be ordering from here again!!

Very poor service... got the order wrong, to then be told I would have to wait another 45 minutes for the delivery. When I said dont worry just refund they said ok, a manager would call me back shortly.. no call back.. To then get told that only a store manager would be able to refund and wont be till the next day.

Overpriced, not even the best quality pizza

Food took over an hour for delivery. Arrived only Luke warm and when I tried calling the store got no answer. Not very impressed this time when I normally am.

It's a dominos, so it's not easy to to gush too much about the food. However it's my local branch and they deserve a mention, if only for making such lovely Pizza and doing it consistently. Staff are helpful and very efficient.

Pretty good service from this Dominoes. Always happy with the temperature of the delivery and as usual the pizza tastes good. My kids love Dominoes and so I am really pleased our local branch does a good service.

So this dominoes have constantly got 3 out of 5 orders wrong. You ask for no mustard they'll give you mustard. You want diet coke they'll give you full fat. They forget things on your order. But dont get me wrong the food always tastes delicious. But tell me this, how did the below image pass your quality control? This is how the cookies were delivered to us. It looks like someone has picked that one up off of the floor and put it back in the box after dropping it :(

I've lately realise that the staff have very little regard to vegetarian policy's, and they could happily be handling meat before hand, and will refuse to change their gloves because "what's the point" And this is disgusting!!!!

Staff were helpful and polite, Pizza arrived quickly. It was a perfect Sunday hangover cure.

Not enough toppings on the pizza

bad experience, we ordered two large pizzas, one of which was the meateor. We paid with the two for tuesday by card and then the food was delivered. The delivery driver came to the door gave us the food and said "should've paid more" I said "huh?" and he said "oh, nothing". I opened the pizza which was meant to be the meateor and it only has pepperoni toppings.

Domino's is pretty much average when it comes to pizzas. Sometimes they are pretty nice but sometimes the chicken wings taste like they've been reheated more than once. That said, the food is usually decent, and this isn't a common occurrence.

Had to wait 45minutes not happy

So hit and miss at this particular branch. We offer from there semi regularly as there are a lot of us in the household. 60% of the time there is no issue and we are happy, however, the other 40% there is something wrong with the orders; in the case of last night both our large pizzas had been squashed leading to most of the toppings being stuck to the roof of the box, the garlic bread was also wrong. Don't know how you mess up garlic bread but thems the breaks. If you do have an issue, don't expect a seedy seedy resokresol, or any for that matter. We try to call sometimes when there is an issue just to have no one answered or to essentially be fobbed off with excuses. All in all, average. Not bad enough to make me have to find somewhere else, not good enough that I will use them by default.

I ordered a pizza onlne, last Friday, I ordered it for 6.30pm. The pizza turned up almost half an hour late. I mentioned this to the driver he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I phoned the store to complain, was told by the manager I would get a £10 credit to my card which would take 5 days, it is now 8 days later, still no credit. Also the delivery driver decided to empty his car of take away cups and wrappers whilst he was parked outside.

Its fine if your hungry and can lower yourself to eating out of a cardboard box, without any cutlery or a seat and table. Pizzas do taste good, of course not the best food about, but ok a few times a year

Everything I would expect of a Dominos. Used for both collection and delivery. As with most Domino's, no dining available here! Not really anywhere close by to sit and eat either. High staff turn over, with a heavy student staff population.

Absoultley disgusted ordered 2 pizzas that never arrived. Was told he had knocked on my door which u cant do unless being buzzed in then im being to told my pizzas had been stolen by somebody else. Then he started to question why at 2 am in the morning i dont want the pizzas bearing in mind i ordered them an hour and an half ago got a refund but still what a joke avoid like the plague disgusting service.

Too good, very flexible topping menu and very cordial staff. Very nice service.
