Fantastic hotel. We stayed for 1 night in October. Service from the staff was excellent, room was upgraded which was a bonus. The breakfast basket was a great touch too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Adorable and lovely rooms and service. The room looks like what I wish my bedroom looked like and the breakfast hamper is wonderful. Great location.

Cute little hotel! The cosy rooms are definitely very cosy, but the hotel makes it work. The breakfast hamper was a nice touch each morning. I had a room directly above the lobby facing the street. There was no issue with road noise, even when the window was open. My only issue with the stay was how loud they were playing the music in the lobby one of the nights, as the speakers were hanging from the lobby ceiling, directly below my room. I heard the music and the bass vibrating through the floor. Luckily, the staff was able to turn it down. However, I think they should be mindful of how it’s an old building, so noise carries, and reminds guests the same.

Flawless ! Just as much the service, the rooms and the location I would recommend it without hesitation and the breakfast on our doorstep in a small basket every morning just perfect

A small but nice boutique hotel in a good location. We particularly liked the loving design of the room and the hotel. Only the check-out time is a little too early in our opinion (10am).

Really lovely and truly boutique hotel. Rooms are clean, and well stocked (including AC) Staff are very friendly and make a great evening cocktail (a true cocktail, not just alcohol and sugar mixed in a glass) Bath/shower pressure is great Bath/shower wash also really lovely. . Breakfast hamper is quite cute, and whilst not a "full english" actually gives you the opportunity to start your day light and go on to sample the many eateries in the town. Huge carpark a 3min walk away makes it really easy to access and town is another 3min walk in the other direction. Would recommend. (My only negative would be the curtains could do with blocking a bit more light)

I didn’t stay in this hotel this time only walked by. But asked help for washroom. The lady named Storm was so nice and helpful. What a stylish name.. Then I ordered a glass of Pinot noir. A large glass only cost 7 pound without service charge. What a great deal. The environment was very clean and well maintained. Great experience.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Yard. The rooms were cozy and decorated with exquisite taste. The breakfast hamper delivered right to your door was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I had to suggest something, I’d say that the windows and doors should be renovated in order to isolate the noise.

This was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had. We loved our room and the hamper breakfast basket is a brilliant idea!! We started each day with tasty yogurt & granola and a lovely croissant with jam delivered to the door for when you awake. The courtyard was lovely for a drink. The staff were so, so lovely. Great location for whatever you needed to do in Bath while also not being in the center of tourism. We definitely would return here on our next trip to Bath.

We stayed here for two nights in May. Everything about the room and stay was fantastic. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was amazing. We chose the breakfast hamper instead of the cooked to order breakfast for our stay. The hamper provided plenty of food for breakfast. I wish they had given us more than one croissant because they were so good. The location is an easy walk to the city center, 5-7 minutes, and to many restaurants.

The Yard in Bath is a sweet little boutique hotel. The rooms are cozy and we never tired of the breakfast hamper the staff delivered every morning. Speaking of the staff, they were friendly and helpful and they provide a list of "hidden gem" pubs and restaurants to visit in Bath. The hotel is an easy walk to Bath's major attractions, the Royal Crescent, the Roman Baths, and the Abbey. We would happily stay there again.

Although a little noisy, from road traffic, the cleanliness and comfort more than make up for it. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

We stayed for two nights at The Yard in February and had such a wonderful stay. Our room on the ground floor was really sweet and the perfect size and lots of lovely additions such as a small heater, table for breakfast and a coffee machine. Everything was very clean too. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast delivered to our door and they accommodated to our dietary requirements. Each member of staff we spoke to was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Yard and would return if we came back to Bath.

Really disappointing. Photos online initially looked lovely for a small boutique hotel. Upon arrival we were initially a little disappointed at the size of the ‘bar’ (drinks in a corner of a reception) and general entrance area. We were then whisked quickly up flights of steep and narrow stairs into a small room. I had specifically put in a request online asking for twin beds, which I was under the impression they could accommodate, however arrived to a very small bed (which they call ‘superior classic’). When I asked the receptionist about this they simply shrugged and offered no explanation. Although decorated nicely at surface level, it was upsetting that after a long day of travel I was unable to use the handheld shower due to being broken. Not something I would expect from an almost £200 nights stay. Breakfast was cute but an over glorified croissant to be eaten in your bed (nowhere else to eat it). To conclude my poor experience with the yard wholly, I have since contacted the yard to express my disappointment, and have simply been told they look forward to reading my online review :| (so here it is xxxx) Location was nice and it’s saving grace. Do not recommend.

A perfect stay. We stayed in one of the rooms just off the courtyard and it could not have been more romantic, with candles on the tables by our door in the evening. Breakfast on the door was a treat and the service we received from staff was next level. A bonus was the complimentary drinks as an apology for a tiny fix in the room (we didn't even notice) that couldn't be completed before our stay. They really care about their guests here and we would definitely return again.

The food was fantastic! The restaurant is quirky beautiful in a period building with unusual art and decor, plants everywhere and views across the lawns which created a lovely atmosphere. The food was so good I will definitely be returning, a thoroughly enjoyable meal experience. Friendly and attentive staff too. Top marks thanks!

Absolutely stunning lemon drizzle! Was amazed I could pick up a fully decorated cake and have it personalised on the spot to take away. Great service and wonderful cake. :)
