Fantastic new menu. Great food, the hotdog is great value for money, can’t wait to try the new kebabs. Lauren, Adam and Gee were great. Nothing to much trouble

Called in for a few drinks with friends. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The bar was nice, clean and welcoming. It was a bonus that they allow dogs in certain areas. All the staff there were really chatty and friendly. Great customer service from all the team.

We came in for a late lunch, we weren't disappointed plenty of choice on the menu, very reasonably priced as well including the kids menu which is ideal when you have a little one who is a bit fussy. We had a couple of desserts rocky road Sunday and the sherry trifle cheesecake which was really nice. Overall very good experience, staff were pleasant and helpful.

A first time visit to Wrexham and a stop for lunch ended at the Wynnstay Arms. Reception were clear on the ordering process i.e. drinks and food selection to be placed at the bar, so in reality partly self service. Following a wait of some 15-20 minutes the starters of wings & ribs and mushroom soup arrived. The latter was lukewarm, with little real taste, and the accompanying bread roll hard bordering on stale. The ribs were edible, and I have to assume that the soup had been waiting on the pass. However, my 8 oz rump steak was good - medium rare, and cooked exactly as ordered. The jacket potato, tuna and salad that my wife requested were satisfactory. To accompany the dishes our choice of drinks were a glass of Chile carta 23 merlot and a tonic water. Final impression was of a somewhat disappointing experience, with a mixed bag of results, whilst dining in comfortable seats at a window table. The delays in the food we thought probably emanated in the kitchen. Only about 7 tables were occupied and not all were being served food.

Great visit with friends. Friendly staff and a great choice of food and drink. Great burger and a drink offer. Great atmosphere with the Wrexham fc tour bus passing. Very busy. Great pub to watch sports

Great to see familiar faces, great new menu. The mac & cheese is a great new dish. Ian and all the staff remember us when we come in. Adam knows what we’d like to drink and tries to get us a nice table in the booths. Thanks for another great visit

Met up for reunion, pub looked, toilets clean and some good beer on tap. First time back here for a while but will call again.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, great value for money a friendly service from Kara, live sport shown. Great environment to bring the family

The staff were friendly enough and helpful enough. However the hotel room definitely had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom sink had hair in it when we looked and so did the bath/shower. The cups that were left in the room also looked dirty too. I do wonder whether the sheets had even been changed since the last people slept in that bed. I should hope they were but I’m not sure that I would bet any money on it.

Nice and handy for centre of Wrexham, free parking if staying In hotel. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff at reception were courteous and helpful. Overall, I would stay again if visiting the area.

This hotel is excellent. Friendly professional staff, good service and lovely food. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows very comfy. Would highly recommend this hotel. Very enjoyable stay.

We did not book, but they found us a table for four. the menu was good, as a veggie i was a little worried the cheese and onion pie might be a bit stodgy, but it was delicious. The rest of the family had steaks and a burger. They thoroughly enjoyed them and nothing was left. The strawberry ice cream sundae was delicious and we had a lovely time. I would definitely return. Highly recommended

I'm not one to put a business down but I was shocked when I managed to book a table (which took all day) i took me girlfriend for a meal and what a shock our bill was £28 for 2 burgers 1 side 2 cokes my burger was burned and taste horrible and the bacon was burnt they forgot our sauce on the burger the staff don't know what comes with any of the items on the menu very poor would not recommend at all 👍

This was probably the worst breakfast I have had. It took 25 minutes and was cold with burnt bacon and toast.

I called in today with my family close to tears as my son who is 15weeks old was crying for a feed and we had been rudely turned away in the pouring rain by Wetherspoons. I exclusively breastfeed my son and was so upset and emotional at being told by the manager at Wetherspoons “not my problem”. Anyways I noticed the doors open here and my partner asked if we could please just sit inside out of the rain for me to breastfeed my son. We were met by a lovely lady with brown shoulder length hair and black shirt she was so lovely and welcoming straight away said of course and showed us a corner table so we had extra privacy. I was so overcome with emotion after what had previously happened and finally able to feed my son. We were able to order some drinks and this lady brought them over. I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH I’m sorry I didn’t get your name but you were so lovely and really restored my faith in humanity. Nice to know there are still some decent people out there willing to help a mother in desperate need to feed her son. We will definitely be returning. The place is beautiful inside everything in place to adhere to guidelines. Thanks again xxxx

Came here 22/8/20 bought a few nibbles to have whilst having a few beers out with our friends , spent £24 odd and it was nice but the portion sizes are a rip off, £5 for 3 chicken strips ! And the nachos must have been a small bag of Doritos, I did moan to the staff who fair play brought out a garlic bread , but that was 3 piece’s about an inch thick ! You couldn’t make it up, felt they are very overpriced for what you get.

First thoughts were not good,the glass doors on entry were filthy, steps just I side hadnt been swept/mopped.The whole place just looks tired in very much need of TLC Ordered food/drink and paid for at the bar before sitting down. Staff were polite enough even though we had to tell her how to sit the bill out,as 2 people were paying for one transaction.We waited quite a while for our meals but mine was beautiful which surprised me given everything I've just said.My friends meal wasnt quite so good unfortunately.Not sure if I'll ever go back.The last time I went into the restaurant was years ago and its changed dramatically just needs TLC.My food lovely.(Dirty Chilli Burger.).

We stay again here we booked two rooms as it was for a family funeral we book in and found my sons room filthy an ours one light bulb telly didn't work so we went to reception. And the staff member apologised move my son immediately came to ours again apology an move us,we then got changed and went out to get food as the pub/restaurant their was so busy no where for 5 to sit we came back an the hotel was in uproar due to a police incident the staff member again appologized for this but we went out to our cars through the hotel as we decided to go out as the bar was not a place to stay with children that night overall the 3day stay was ok .

Lots of stepped areas . Not wheelchair friendly. Accessible toilet. Staff very nice. Food OK. It's very noisy with loud music, TV and football on all together. Food is not spectacular, it's cheap and OK. Car park is difficult to find.

price started at £60 a night,on booking became £80. Was given the wrong key to the room at reception, the room 104 stank of urine & there was a suspicious looking stain on the chair under the dresser,we found hairs in the bathroom on the wall in plain sight, not something we went looking for, we asked for the use of a hairdryer, by the time the receptionist returned to the room my hair was dry, no hairdryer only the excuse that "people steal them, I don't have one for you to use". The windowsill in the bedroom was covered in black mold & mildew & so was the bath, the shower curtain was the same. It's a double room with only 1 mug for a brew & no glasses for water.

Where to start .....no one available .had to wait 10 mins to let someone know I was there for a meal.6 of us-put on a table for 4 then got told they'd push 2 tables together...Table wasn't cleared from previous diners. Wasnt wiped down either. Other friends arrived- meal/table booked for 7.30-waitress finally came to take our pre booked menu choices at 8.15. Had to ask 4 times for the prepaid glasses of prosecco .When our meals did arrive the food wasnt that appetising- veg was over cooked and the whole meal wasnt exactly hot-went cold very quick. We asked for more drinks-(twice) and again waited ages,by this time we'd all had enough and wanted to leave. Didn't bother with dessert choices or other drinks.Whilst I fully understand it's a busy time of year, no effort was made to make it feel like a Christmas meal out at all.Service wasnt great. Wont be going back ...

The general manager is very lovely, so caring! He goes beyond for his customers at the bar/pub and guests staying at the hotel. The food is great unfortunately, there was two nights when the food was not being served but the receptionist recommended me places and I think the staff was very wonderful and polite at all times!

Called in today (7th Dec) for some lunch during Christmas shopping. Got there at 11.50am. I didn't want anything with chips and wasn't that hungry. Nearly everything comes with chips! I ordered a starter of nachos with a topping of pulled pork and chilli as a main. My wife ordered a haloumi salad. My nachos came as a starter before my wife's salad. I asked if we could have them together. I moved the nachos with my fork to try and find the pulled pork and chilli finding out that it wasn't on the plate. I asked if I could have some only to be told that they had run out. I asked to have a curry instead. 30 minutes later, after my wife had finished her lunch they bought my original cold nacho starter back to the table with the dirty fork still on the plate. 45 minutes after ordering lunch I still hadn't eaten. I asked to see the manager who's name is Chris. Totally unprofessional. As I was complaining he kept butting in with the words "listen". Excuse me he should have been the one listening. He offered to get me the curry but my reply was that I had come in to have lunch with my wife. She had finished her lunch and I didn't want to eat alone and I wanted a refund. Chris did give me a refund but even that took longer than it should have. What should have happened when they realised that I couldn't have what I ordered and my wife had already got her lunch which had warm haloumi on was. Sorry sir. We will take your wife's meal back to the kitchen and prepare a fresh on so that both of your meals come out together. What sort of kitchen staff work there that even consider sending out a cold starter that has obviously has been touched and sent back to the kitchen. Chris didn't even offer us a free drink as we had finished ours by the time this all happened. What's needed is better training for all of the staff, front of house, waiting on staff and management training. You picked on the wrong person guys. I'm a general manager at a hotel and this would never happen at my hotel and would have been dealt with alot better than this.

Booked a table for 12 as we were having a family reunion meal. Arrived at 12.30 and table was reserved and ready for us. After looking at the menu I decided to have the Sunday roast chicken and was pleasantly surprised to find that two could be purchased for £12 so myself and my sister opted for this. Various other meals were ordered - hunters chicken, chicken salad, fish and chips, beef and roast chicken dinners. All meals arrived except for one which arrived after we had finished ours. However a drink was offered in compensation. Everyone enjoyed their food and thought it was good value for money. Desserts were ordered - sundaes, cheesecake, waffles etc. which were also tasty and reasonably priced. All in all, quality of food was good, staff were friendly and would return again.

Stayed for a business trip. The walk down the corridor to my room lack any character and tired. The room was small but adequate. My main issue with the room was it was dirty! The carpet hadn’t been hoovered, the bath I had to rinse the hairs down before getting in for a shower. There was dust and dirt and just generally required a deep clean. There was mold around the grouting on the bath and by the window. There was no glass in the room they supplied plastic water bottle - not necessary to supply a single use plastic bottle if you supply a glass, and surely more cost effective?The final straw was the state of the toilet. White toilets should be white and not stained brown - just nasty!The WiFi was ok and free, the towels, although small were soft and clean and the bed linin was clean and white.

On a random holiday adventure, we decided to stay a night in Wrexham. I wouldn’t say this is worst place ever. However, the hotel did have accommodation and is very basic standard. You can tell that a lot of stag/hen do’s have been here which have had its toll on the rooms. On top of that, I ordered food because there are no available restaurants nearby. (Less than 5 proper ones). So I ate the dinner menu at the hotel. I asked for a blue ribeye which came out well done. How can a chef mess that up?? It’s literally 2 mins on the grill each side. Prior to that, a Long Island ice tea should be 4x white spirits filled with lemonade and topped off with a “splash” of coke/Pepsi. Instead, it was completely wrong. All Pepsi. The receptionist was such a lovely lady though and she deserves the upmost respect for dealing with the a-holes that come through here. I’m glad that I’m here for 1x night only. Highly disappointed, except for the nice lady.

The food was hot and tasty and very good value for money. The Pedigree was spot on and well kept. Lovely visit 👍

Called in last Sunday and seen the Gin month advertised, asked for one Gin which the bottle was on display only to be told they had sold out bearing in mind it had only been on a few days. Then asked for a strawberry flavoured Gin which was served in a straight thin glass with a LEMON in it. Obviously no thought or training gone into this Gin promotion and as a major establishment in the heart of the Town it was very disappointing.

I had lunch meal there was good chose I had the cocktail starter. Hunters chicken. And Chocolate Fudge cake with ice-cream .pot of tea friendly staff and helpful with my food allergies.

We stayed here as a family of 4, 2 adults 2 children on a Friday tea time we arrived. First impressions on arrival about 20 workmen having a pint after work very rowdy bit worried having the children with me. Room was nice enough, radiator in bathroom stuck on full heat all night so had a very hot uncomfortable night. Our room overlooked the main road so obviously we expected noise. The rooms were not sound proofed at all so staying over a pub with no sound proof was not great. We were awoken at 6.30 am by loud music playing which on arrival to breakfast was coming from the restaurant didn’t appear loud at the breakfast but in the room was very loud. We ate in the restaurant at tea time it was ok . Very ordinary pub food quite a few of the dishes they didn’t have left but that was ok. Had to keep running down asking for stuff for the room such as milk, extra cups.

Good selection of food available, also they do vegetarian meals and as it's a Marsdon pub the price is reasonable

If you look at 80% of the five star reviews for the Wynnstay they have been written by myself,for the last few years we have been coming regular mainly because of the fantastic Gammon&Pies; etc and prices to match.So now we have the new menu we tried the Gammon pie and the steak pie I think both meals combined were about £16,I can honestly say that I have never been served a pie so small four bites and it had gone.When we ordered at the bar we realised I could have a free pint of fosters as part of the deal on a tuesday,but when my girlfriend returned from ordering the meal at the bar area I noticed that we had been charged for the fosters,she went back and told the young lady but we were told we could have another pint of fosters or two pound in cash,that is when we had paid three pound for the pint.We did pop in for drinks again a few days ago and this time I had my Stella in a Fosters glass but I suppose it is a change from a Kronenburg glass.I will come back for drinks but I think I will leave the food alone.

We came to the wynnstay for food and a few drinks,I ordered my pint of stell artois and was told I would have to have it in a Kroneberg glass,surely a pub like the Wynnstay could get a few extra glasses for there stella drinkers?Yet again i had the gammon&chips; and my girlfriend the chicken Burger,yet again the food was up to a high standard for what you pay,we will be back in the very soon.

Well this month we visited the Wynnstay for food twice and like nearly every other time the food was excellent,on both occasions my girlfriend had the Gammon pie &chips; and myself the Gammon&chips; with 2 eggs,food when ordered only took 20 minutes to arrive and was ever so tasty,we will be back very very soon.

we only came for dinner bu it was lovely, the staff were so friendly, I would 100% recommend it, best dinner since we got here!

We had a couple of visits to the Wynnstay recently and as always the food was up to a high standard,tonight we came with the family between us we had the gammon,chicken burger and chicken and mash all meals were excellent but my daughter would not have the chicken again as there was not that much on it,our food came very quickly and the service was excellent,We will be back very very soon.

We came for food here last night Thursday 24th May. Food was a high standards came out very hot and tasted delicious. Not sure if they have a new chef as visited in the past and food has been ok but this time the food was Fantastic. You know a chef can cook when you have steak cooked to perfection with great markings on. Will definitely return and recommend to others

We visited the Wynnstay three times for drink and food within ten days and i probably spent £90,i ordered gammon and egg the week before and asked could i swap my pineapple for another egg this was ignored,so ten days later i asked the same thing and yet again it did not happen, after asking the lady waiting on she said you can not really complain can you,i then mentioned the garlic bread being a third of the normal size she said it was off the xmas menu,after spending that much money i was a little fed up so sent a email to the pub which i had a phone call ten minutes later,i was offered a free meal at the pub which i said i would have,the free meal was very good but i had to laugh when we had a basic meal with garlic bread, we were told the garlic bread would be free,but when we were billed we were told we had to pay for it,does this restaurant want to piss off its customers for it is doing a very good job,

Went to the Wynnstay for drinks yet again and ended up having food,the Wynnstays 2 for £10 has now ended so we had our normal gammon pie and chips for £8,49 each,new menu coming out monday with some good dishes on offer,we will be back...

Every couple of weeks we visit the Wynnstay for drinks and are always tempted by the 2 for £10 menu which has some great dishes and good sized portions,yet again i ended up having the 10oz gammon with my girlfriend having the gammon pie,both meals...

Excellent venue for birthday parties or weddings. Room is split into 3 separate areas with private bar, disco/dance floor and "quiet" area. Staff were extremely helpful both prior to the event and on the night. Nothing was too much trouble. Buffet was tasty and plentiful....

We have visited the Wynnstay twice this month and on both occasions we enjoyed our experience.The Wynnstay offer a very good 2 for £10 deal and we have tried the burger,gammon pie which are excellent and my favourite the 10oz gammon,just a shame you have to ask the staff to wipe down the table before your food is served.

El primer plato era quemar y grasienta. La principal estaba bien, pero sólo sosa como la verdura había sido cocidos hasta minuciosamente. Las bebidas eran bastante caras y servicio de bar en la sala de actos era lento.

Comimos aquí para una cena mientras me alojé en el hotel (Revisión del hotel está en la página del hotel para el Wynnstay). Yo tenía un pan plano halloumi y una tarta de manzana. Yo estaba muy impresionado! Los sabores eran absolutamente delicioso pan plano y el llenado era preciosa, y la placa de toda la comida, que venía con patatas fritas y aros de cebolla, muy generoso. La tarta de manzana también era delicioso y desaparecido en un instante (que se inhalan. ). El servicio que recibí también era de primera categoría, con un personal agradable y personal. Tuve una agradable comida, gracias. Además, una buena relación calidad-precio!

Estancia de una noche. Cuando llegamos, mi estómago lurched como la vista desde la parte trasera y el aparcamiento es horrible. Basura por todas partes y muy atractiva. Sin embargo, conseguimos aparcar gratis y al entrar nos sorprendió gratamente. El hotel es limpio y moderno. Muy ordenado y una cama súper cómoda. Comimos en el pub, que era la comida típica de pub, sabroso y a un precio razonable. La música estaba muy alta en el bar, así que venía a nuestra habitación sobre las 8. Nos sorprendió mucho lo tranquilo que era y cómo súper cómoda que era la cama. Tuvimos una buena noche de sueño y despertó una sensación de frescor. Volveríamos de nuevo.

Very spacious had a really lovely night with family and friends, drinks where reasonable priced. Didn't try the food but did look nice

We stopped off here after along day travelling, both of us were starving by this point so we definitely picked the right location.Inside, the pub really is done up well, it's clean and modern furnishings are very comfortable, we really love sitting in the booth style tables for a bit of privacy.The menu is huge so it took quite a while to decide what we wanted, so many tempting choices all at very reasonable prices, there are also some daily deals but being a Tuesday the 2 drinks for £5 gave us a small discount on the beer / wine.The food came relatively quickly and quality wise was pretty decent, nothing to complain about, nothing to write home about.All in all, this place feels like an upgraded version of the Wetherspoons across the road, well worth the extra pennies.

Me and my daughter visited while on a shopping trip we have never been before the pub wasn't busy infact very quiet for a lunch time there as only 1 member of staff serving on the bar then what I presume was the manager came to help. There was a error on the till I don't think it has been turned on. The food was ok nothing fancy. The one thing that did put me off was that the staff member and the manager was out side smoking in the customer smoking area. Personally I don't think this should be where the staff have a smoking break. Apart from that an ok visit

There was quite a good choice of evening meal which was served by friendly staff. The food arrived after a short wait, which was good, no problems at all.

Standard pub fare and service, Marstons based drinks, can park your car in the car park which is a bonus.

what can I say but catastrophic service when it comes to ordering food, 2 occasions I have been there in the past 4 weeks and each time they have totally screwed up my partners order first occasion sending a rare steak baggette which was ordered medium to well done, this was sent out twice, on the 3rd attempt which was an hour late from original order I demanded a full refund which was the least they could do, 2nd occasion of going my partner ordered a roasted pepper wrap but they decided to bring a SALAD wrap ha ha, sent it back again waited 20 mins only to be told order hasn't been sent yet so again a full refund was given, they are only interested in serving large party's first so if your a small family don't bother.

I recently decided to visit the wynnstay with some of my girl friends as we had heard of the new makeover, the bar area now looks contemporary and clean and has made a vast improvement. However, we arrived approximately at 10am and ordered breakfast. While ordering we were interrupted by what I think was the chef as he told us breakfast finishes at 10. Even though the large sign outside clearly says till 11. After explaining that the sign says otherwise he began to mumble under his breath and walked out of the room swearing. This is not the behaviour I expect as a paying customer. I will not be returning any time soon, and will not be recommending either.

Very present evening. We eat a dinner during our stay in the hotel. The steak was cooked to our liking, which was brill. Service was very attentive at all times. overall a very enjoyable night and meal. We will definitely return. Price for both food and drinks very reasonable. We can recommend.

Two night stay for a stag weekend.Rooms were clean, if a little bit tired and in need of updating. Staff were there if needed, breakfast was adequate but limited cooked selection. Cocktails were available at the bar but some of the bar staff didn't know how to mix them.

Stopped in here for a drink prior to our meal booking, the place was buzzing, very friendly and not expensive. A lovely looking bar with loads of seating, standing areas, a great place to be.

Decided to grab a late lunch here with friends last Saturday. I ordered a medium steak with the undressed salad (as per the menu) as I was on a health kick. My other friends had burgers. My (very small, over done) steak came and was with a dressed salad. I did mention to the server that the menu said the salad was undressed but she didn't seem to be too bothered so I just got on with it. My friends said their burgers were a bit on the overdone side too. The staff didn't bother to check back with us despite it being pretty quiet. There was a 'bottle of Prosecco for £9.99' offer on which two of my friends decided to go for, only to be told they had run out. They informed them that the offer was on all wines so they chose a red, only to be told they had run out of that one too. However, they did offer an alternative and honoured the offer, so that was good. Overall, I would recommend as a meeting place and a quick drink, but not for anything more than that.

I booked a table for 14 people for December the 12th we all had the Christmas menu the food was excellent and plenty of it,the service was excellent everybodys meals came out at the same time and it was hot,tables were cleared very quickly,the staff were very helpful and friendly and good parking facilities a very good experience all round, definitely go there again.Many thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

we booked this venue for 6 of us for New years eve, the evening was to consist of a disco and a hot and cold buffet. For the money we paid we thought it would be ok.However the buffet laid on was superb to say the least probably the best we have had for many years, it consisted of roast beef, turkey, chicken wings, roast potatoes, and much much more. The service was excellent and the staff even brought desserts to the table for those who wanted it. The drinks prices was also very reasonable.Would definitely recommend for food on a normal occasion if this is the quality served up.

Came here for tea with friends. The food was okay, cheap and cheerful. The staff were friendly. Our table was cleared quite quickly after eating which hasn't always happened in the past.

All rooms need upgrading and the bathroom. Waiting staff need some customer service training, gossiping all thhrough breakfast service leaving residents for more than 20 minutes.

Aged decoration and windows need replacing as it was not a good night sleep. Nice location (10 minutes from restaurants & cinema).Good bar for a pint but ... Would stay elsewhere next visit.

If you fancy a bite to eat or just want to relax and chat over a cold glass of whatever you fancy, Wynnstay Arms is the place to go. The music selection is generally modern with the odd classic and it's played at a volume that allows you to enjoy yourself whilst not having to shout to make yourself heard. The window seats are the best places to sit - you can look out across the street which is pleasant on a spring evening. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly too.

Food was slow although well cooked, much the same as Yates's or Wetherspoons! Reasonable cost. I had a Gammon steak ,and would have again! Which has got to be a recommendation?

Went In with wife and 2 sons ordered food which came to £25 for all of us which I thought was reasonable. But when food came felt it was over prised I asked for a Yankee hotdog I got 3 sausages in a very pale baguette with no mustard on which stated in menu would be on it. The wedges were cold ❄. My wife's scampi was awful came without tarta sauce and not much on plate. Same with boys meals not much on plate for price

This has always been one of my favorite bars in Wrexham.Since reopening its sliding downhill. Went just before Christmas with family, my sister in laws wine was a cloudy undrinkable mess. Giving it the benefit of the doubt (and because I've got a soft spot for the place - going there since I was 18) we returned last night.Mistake - the same terrible, cloudy wine was on offer. The lager was flat and had a bad aftertaste to it. All to the accompaniment of very loud music, that meant talking to each other was impossible. The decors standing up well to the test of time. This could be such a nice place to go. Currently, what they are serving means we'll give it a miss for quite a while.

The word I would use to describe the Wynnstay is 'Meh'.It's not that it's bad - it's not. But it's also not great. Its exterior promises much but doesn't quite deliver. In the day - basic pub food with good service and a really decent interior, in the evening - a reasonably cheap bar where nobody knows whether to wear a cocktail dress or a dodgy mini from Primark.The atmosphere is non-existent but the seating is nice and, in a group, it's really not a bad place to be.But... meh.

We ate here as we were staying locally in Gresford. The service was adequate as was the atmosphere. The carvery was very busy but we did dine on a Sunday mid-day. The food was very fairly priced and of a good quality. Some items from the menu were unavailable and the desserts never arrived resulting in us getting a refund for them as we were on a car meter.You get what you pay for our meal for 2 adults and 2 children cost little over 30pounds.I would not eat here again however there were no issues with the food it was just not for me.

just a shame they stop serving so early,we made dinner on the friday but was too late for sat night.. i think they stop at 7 pm and then at weekends becomes a drinkers pub .. with loud music and even a 30th birthday party

we stopped in for a carvery lunch while Christmas shopping. the staff were very helpful and we were directed to a table that was clean and tidy. we progressed on to the carvery. the meat seemed to be on when carved and put on the plate. the veg was really not fresh. it all looked and tasted like it was reheated. the meat was like shoe leather. we mentioned about then bad food to be told we were not the only ones who were not happy. our request for a refund on the inedible food was denied by the manager. we decided to leave and never return again.
