Fab evening put on for Nhs staff, food was fantastic.loved every minute of night. Staff were great aswell,can’t wait to dance and come back here

Lovely meal in a smashing setting. very upmarket food. Not cheap but well worth the money, especially for a special occasion.

I have stayed at the Wynnstay Hotel over the past three yrs for a reunion w/end in September.Staff are always helpful and pleasant. The rooms reasonable without being fussy.The food is always good.

Arrived at the hotel by car to find nowhere to unload except at the carpark which was a long way away. Having booked in it was then 45 stairs up to the room. Fortunately there was a chair halfway up to rest. Not a great weekend for two 75's. NO LIFT.

I came for the early bird menu lunch time. I asked for the broccoli and Stilton soup starter and plaice main. As lovely as the waitress was, I ended up having pea and mint soup and salmon main because neither of the above mentioned were available. It’s a bit tricky saying no to what was offered when it’s too late to cancel, go elsewhere, get served etc... and have a tight time schedule to work around all in the rain. So there I was, eating food that wasn’t on the menu. As delicious as it was, please don’t wait until people have sat down and ordered to realise you haven’t got the food.

If you want a real country local inn, with a truly authentic feel. Then this top of the tree. Don’t except designer furniture, expensive decor. This is rustic, and functional. With a warm welcome.

Had a great Sunday lunch here, the food was lovely and the service some of the best I have seen. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and at leat one is always patrolling and checking on the guests. They have been very well trained. We will be back 😁

Very nice hotel , very clean with attentive staff Used the spa for free on the friday which is included in your stay Superb breakfast , full English and a huge buffet to choose from Lovely room with all the facilities you would expect from a 4* Oswestry is a very nice market town with plenty to explore at hand

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff combined with excellent food ensured this was a party to remember. Family and friends from all over Europe kept the party going until 4am and not once did the service slip.

Have stayed at, used the gym, restaurant and meeting rooms at the Wynnstay. Every aspect of the hotel is very well kept, staff are attentive and welcoming.

We stayed here on the Sunday of the May Bank Holiday. From walking from the car park into the hotel all of the staff offered a warm welcome. We used the pool which was fine - if a little cold with not much natural light. The hotel provided a 'party in the park' type event which was free entrance. I have to say that this was fantastic. Food and drink on the bowling green with a face painter for the kids and a live band. It was a bit like being at a wedding but not knowing anyone including the bride and groom! The weather was great and we all really enjoyed sitting out in the sun, listening to the band. The were only two downsides to the hotel - we booked a double and a twin but the two rooms were on opposite sides of the stairs. Partly our fault for not specifying the need for our children to be in the room next door to us, but I had assumed that the hotel would have worked this out. The second downside would be the cost of the cooked breakfast - I do draw the line at spending £10.50 on a boiled egg. We really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend.

Went here for a meal in the restaurant midweek and thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose a three course meal which was very good value and all three courses were excellent. The restaurant was busy for midweek with a large group of ladies who were well looked after by the staff as we were. Staff very good and helpful in calling us a taxi to get home. Nice bar in the hotel. Good place for a nice meal in Oswesry. I would return.
