I joined the Wrottesley Arms yesterday for their carboot/ craft day . It was a lovely day nice, nice atmosphere. A lot of time effort and organisation went into the event.

Simon and the team are always so welcoming! The service and atmosphere is great. The food is lovely too! A big shout out to Tina who is always there with a smile. Worth a visit! 5 stars *****

Staff very polite and welcoming , good service BUT we were uncomfortable with the stale smells and general unhygienic atmosphere , decor is drab and the carpet is old and dirty. Worst of all was the smell of stale urine from the toilet that greeted us as we entered , we didn’t stay for dessert and were glad to get out into the fresh air, and we won’t be returning .

Had Sunday lunch here and was not disappointed, the roast dinner was good value for money and the service was excellent. Will be back soon!

The manager opened the pub slightly early for us on the day of our wedding! It was such a lovely thing to do meaning my husband could meet all his family and friends in one local place, their local pub, to get our wedding bus all together. They had a brilliant time, with such a welcoming and caring atmosphere. We have used the pub on a number of occasions baby showers, family meals. The garden room is perfect for most functions! The staff are lovely & welcoming, it really is a lovely local pub. Get in touch with the manager there really lovely and will really try to cater to you. Thanks again so much! 😄

Lovely food with really generous portion sizes, pizzas were amazing. The atmosphere with the live music on Friday night was really good, looking forward to the next singer!

We booked The Wrottesley for a family birthday meal. The staff couldn’t do enough to help the evening go to plan: we pre-ordered our food; set the room up with balloons beforehand; had attentive service all evening and they even brought our cake out on request. Thank you for making our evening so special!

Food cooked by Sally, served by Tina… all Excellent! Really friendly service and I would recommend the dough balls. Interacted well with the children and good portion sizes. Will visit again!

We had lunch at The Wrottesley Arms after we had completed a lovely 4 mile ramble of the surrounding area. We were served by Tina who made us feel very welcome and gave us a fantastic service. Our meals (Cooked by Tina) were varied but we were all served at the same time and everyone was very pleased with their choice. We will certainly visit again Paul

Brilliant menu, great food cooked by Jo and wonderful service from Tina. We all polished off our plates and will return again soon!

Had mid week lunch time meal deal cooked by jo and served by tina,always helpful and cheerful . we live 10 miles away but make a point of visiting the pub when the grand kids want to play on the swings .

The staff do not consistently follow what is asked of their customers. I find the majority of the staff rude and obnoxious. When I arrive here on a Friday evening, there are multiple children running around, lingering around the corner and generally shouting and treating the inside of the pub like a playground. No member of staff ever approaches them to ask them to be seated.

Came for Dinner with my daughter for an early meal.. Lovely Service provided by Tina and the food cooked by Jo was delicious… I had the New Festive Burger which was great.. All in all a great experience as it always is.

We had a lovely lunch at the Wrottesley Arms today. We had the fish and chips which was delicious and our friends had the steak. We all enjoyed the food which I believe was cooked by Sally. Tina served us and was very attentive and friendly. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to everyone there will definitely be back.

Our first visit to the Wrottesley Arms, we both opted for the Fish and Chips. Food arrived promptly.Fish had a crispy batter and was well cooked, chips had a crunch and were of a decent size and tasty. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Well done and Thank you!

Fairly easy disabled access up a modest ramp and through double doors, level inside, pretty good for a pushed wheelchair, friendly staff, and a very well cooked lunch thanks to Tina. Fair prices and a decent range of beer and very well priced coffee. The table we sat at needed re-varnished, the cleaning materials had made the varnish a bit rubbery - not a real criticism, but others might think the table had not been cleaned, it had, properly. This is not 'fine dining' but local well run and friendly places to eat which are priced competitively such as this pub are a community asset. Ideal for a local lunch meal with a beer.

My husband and I had lovely meals tonight, cooked by Sally. I had veg chilli and my husband had chicken tikka, both meals tasted and looked really nice . We were served by Tina who is lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend having food here.

After a shopping trip to the square,we needed some refreshments,so we popped into the pub.Very pleasant staff,particularly Tina and the food was fresh and beautifully cooked by Sally.We will definitely go again.
